Mrs Maria shouted in shocked.

She became so astonished about the suddenly changed of Reina,she couldn’t believe her two eyes.

“Reina!
She called out again.

She walked so majestically to her and her body guards stood at the entrance of the door.

“Point of correction Maria,address me as your Boss Mrs Power”
She said being so mean.

“Meaning what? Why should I call you that? Oh simple because of your suddenly changed you now have the boldness and the effrontery to addressed me by first name and even ordered me to call you Boss? God knows where your riches is coming from,Who did you even think you are?
She shouted.

She smiled and said,
“Maria Gilberto am not here to battle words with you,I came to give you a few words,get ready to dance the music you started and to dance to my tune like my puppy”

“So it is you all along? The one that has been sending me all those threat messages you know what am not scared of you,you are nobody to me to be scared of you,your threats means nothing to me so get lost”
She shouted at her.

Reina laughed and laughed in fact she laughed the hell out of her,she walked around the place as Mrs Maria keep on shouting at her and ordering her to leave her house.

“Watch how I will make your life a living hell for you”
She gave her,her last word before using the door.

“Am not scared of you Reina! You won’t do me anything”
She shouted at her hearing.

Diego heard the shout and rushed downstairs,
“What is it Aunty? Who are you shouting at?
He asked confusingly looking at the entrance of the door.

“She is nobody! An empty vessel that’s what she is”
She shouted angrily.

“Aunty who is the person? What’s the person’s mission that got you so upset like this?
He asked still need a better explanation from her.

She knows fully well she can’t tell him is Reina because Diego will definitely suspect something so she came up with an expensive lie.

‘As i said she is an empty vessel,someone from the company that made a deal with us,can you imagine that the stupid fool came to resign the contract with us”
She lied.

“Are you sure Aunt?
He asked confusingly,he didn’t seems to buy that lie.

“Yes! I told them to come back tomorrwo morning at the office for the resign of the contract beside we don’t need their money”
She said.

“Okay Aunt! Since they want it that way is okay by us,we will be expecting them tomorrwo then”
He said.

“Yeah! Tomorrwo”
She said and went up to her room.

She couldn’t stop thinking about Reina,she remembered what the soothsayer man said to her,she became so scared,a lot started running through her head.

“What if Reina succeed in taking everything away from her? What will become of her?

“What will happen to the husband’s and son’s legacy?

“All their handiwork and all the things they have laboured for years will now be taken away from her?

She thought about all these with so much scared written all over her face.

“I have to act fast before my life and all the sweats of my family will be taking away”
She thought and couldn’t sleep all night.

Two days later everything has been taken away from her,her house the company,it just like a dream to her and wishes to wake up from the nightmare,she got nothing and nowhere to go to and now the only family she has now has forsaken her.

After finding the real truth about his Aunt, Diego became so astonished and couldn’t believe that his Aunt will even have the mind to kill someone talk more of wiping out a family.

He cried so bitterly as he remembered the sweet love story he shared with Dlyan and how painful it is to believe that his own Aunt cut the love story short for him.

He vowed for that his Aunt must suffer for committing a sinful and unimaginable thing,the more thought about Reina’s family the more heart break he will be.

MRS POWER MANSION
For the past three days,Mrs Maria Gilberto has been locked in,side the room without food nor water.

“I need food! Give me food! Water!
She cried out banging on the door.

She keep on shouting and pleading for food and water,her shouting was disturbing the entire house.

“Woman keep quite! there will be the food for you! Why can’t you understand that no matter how you s¢ræm and shout for food and water it will not be given to you”
The bodyguard shouted at her.

Mrs Power got so fade up of her shouting and came down to see her.

“Boss the woman has been disturbing for food!
The bodyguard said.

She smiled and said,
“That’s why i brought this!

“Boss this left over food from the dog and it’s urine”
The bodyguard sounded looking at the plate.

“Yeah! Give it to her that’s what she deserve to eat”
She said and gave him the plate.

“Feed her and make sure she finish everything,if she refuse to eat you know what to do to her”
She said to him.

“Okay Boss!

Mrs Power went back to her room while the Body guard opened the door and went in,side.

“Am hungry! Am dying of hunger! Please give me something to eat Son!
She pleaded.

“That’s why I brought you this!
He dropped the plate on the table.

Mrs Maria looked at the food with a disgusting face,
“What is this? A dog food! No! I can’t eat this!
She shouted.

“That’s what you deserve so you better start eating it now!
He shouted.

“No! I can’t eat this! How did you expect me to eat dog’s food!
She shouted and shifted the food.

“If you know what’s is good for you better start eating this your food now unless you want me to force it on you”
He shouted.

“I said I will not eat this! Am I a dog!
She shouted.

The bodyguard got so fade up of her misbehaving, he brought out his gun and pointed it on her.

“Start eating now unless I will shot right away!
He shouted.

Mrs Maria became so frightened and obyed immediately,she started eating the food with a disgusting face.

“Finish everything and don’t leave any single grain”
He shouted still Ponting the gun on her.

She finished everything in tears and looked at the digusting dog’s urine staring at her.

“I can’t drink this! It’s disgusting!
She complained in tears.

“Any more complain from you I will shot,drink!
He shouted.

She grabbed the cup staring at it with her face written with so much disgusting,she can’t stand the smell of the urine.

“Drink! Drink all of them!
He shouted at her.

She obyed since she don’t want to die,she drank the whole urine some of it even poured on her.

She cleaned her mouth with her hands and said in tears.

“Am not a dog,please stop serving me this dog’s food”
She pleaded.

“That’s what you will be eating until my Boss says otherwise”
He said.

He took the plate alongside with the cup and went out.

Mrs Maria couldn’t stop crying and massaging her stomach,thinking for how long she will continue living like a dog.

AT THE RESTAURANT
“Bestie I don’t like what you are doing?
Sophia said.

“I didn’t get you,what did you mean?
She asked being a little confused.

“It has been a week and days now since Fred started pleading and begging you to give him the attention to speak to you and make things clear to you but I don’t know you are proving so stubborn to him”
She said not feeling happy about Eva’s attitude towards Fred.

“Am don’t proving so stubborn to anyone!
she said.

“Then what is preventing you for giving him the chance to talk you?
She asked.

“Because there’s nothing to talk about!
She said.

“What did you mean Eva?
She asked confusingly.

“I told you that Fred has moved on already,he now has a girlfriend so tell me why I should give him the chance to talk me after seeing how serious he is with his girlfriend?
She asked feeling sad.

“I have told you several times to stop jumping into conclusion,how sure are that he is dating that girl?

“Am not jumping into conclusion Sophia,I saw everything,I saw them together displaying their love story and she even warned me to stay clear from Fred”
She sounded sadly.

“Are you being serious? When did that happen?
She asked surprisingly.

“It all happened yesterday!
She said.

FLASH BACK
Eva made up her mind to give Fred the chance to talk to her,she can’t to his company with the thought that the security men won’t let her in due to what happened that day and now she can’t reach him on phone because she don’t have his number so she decided to go to his house with the help of the cab man since Fred is a popular man and they will surely know his home address.

When she got to his house,she came down from the cab just to pay the cab man she saw Fred with Anne coming out from the house,she became so angry.

Anne hugged Fred as she was about to got into her car,she sighted Eva,she smiled and went back to Fred and k-ssed him in a r0mantically way.

Eva became more heart broken,she stood still with her heart breaking into pieces and Fred did not noticed her nor even feel her presence.

“Can I have my money Miss!
The cab man said to her for over three times but no respond,her mind is no longer there with her.

He came down and tapped her on the shoulder calling back her mind,
“Miss my money!

“Oh Sorry!
She said in tears and gave him the money.

He saw the tears and asked,
“Are you okay Miss?

She nooded her head,the cab man saw the Fred and Anne still k-ssing,he shooked his head,got into his cab and drove out.

Eva couldn’t stand them anymore,she made her way out in tears meanwhile Anne noticed she has gone out she withdrew from the k-ss.

“See you tomorrwo!
She said to Fred and got to her car while Fred went back in,side.

She stopped beside Eva along the road and said to her with smiles,
“Excuse me, let me give you a piece of advice that will be good for you,stay away from Fred stop coming to look for him because he belongs to me and he will forever be mine besides what you saw there has proven to you that we love each other so much and there’s nobody like you in Fred’s heart anymore so if you value your life so much stay away from him unless you want to taste me”

Eva didn’t utter any word to her only mopping at her in tears,she had a self satisfied smirk on her face and drove out.

FLASH BACK END
Sophia couldn’t believe what Eva narrated to her,
“This is so unbelievable! She got the nerves to say that to you!
She shouted.

“She made it cleared to me and believed her so I got no place in Fred’s heart anymore,he has moved on and also have a life partner too”
She sounded sadly.

“And you believe all she said to you? What if she is forcing herself on Fred?
She asked.

“I don’t think so,if truly she is forcing herself on him,Fred shouldn’t have reciprocate to the k-ss so am gonna move on and forget about him too”
She sounded sadly.

“No bestie! I don’t think so,Fred loves you,I saw the undying love written all over him when he was asking me to help him out in talking to you so I still suggest you should give him the chance to explain things to you and forget about want that girl said to you”
She said.

“I don’t think If I can”
She sounded.

“You will,I know your heart beats for him and the love you have for him will make you to give him the chance to talk to you”
She said.

Eva’s phone rang,she brought it out from her pocket and looked at the unknown number wondering who it could be.

“Who?
Sophia asked being so anxious to know who the caller is.

“Is unknown number!
She sounded with a confusingly.

“Answer it then!
She said waiting to hear what the caller will say.

She picked the call,
📞 Hello,please am I speaking with Miss Eva Sebastian?
A male voice asked.

“Yes! Am Eva Sebastian!
She answered still confused about the caller even Sophia too.

“Am calling from the General Hospital,I want to infrom you that your Mother was rushed in awhile ago your attention is needed urgently”
The caller said.

“My mother in the hospital!
Eva shouted in shocked.
