The way the pizza fell off her mouth, made me wanna laugh, but I control myself..
Gosh ..you need to have seen her face, so shocked and sacred like that of a little baby who her candy is being taken from..
I look at her for a little while, I started admiring her beauty..
She is actually beautiful and she looks so innocent..

But sir, I did not eat anything that is so expensive that could have cost my salary.. And besides it not my fault that I fainted… She said in a voice that I don’t understand..

Anyways I was only joking am going to touch your salary , but maybe later on I will ..OK..for now please relax, because I don’t have money to do burial.. I said..

Look boss I only fainted that does not mean I will die..am still young..she said..

She looked at me, and stone me the pillow beside her …
I was shocked and she also, she wanted to say sorry but I just burst out laugh and that is how we started pillow fight..

Wow..its really been long I laughed, I can’t remember the day I was this happy…
Who is this girl, ever since I met her, something strange have been happening to me, she always make laugh, and am kinda too concern about her..that is strange..
But no matter what it is , no space in my heart for anyone, I just have to be more strict with her to avoid any more plays or laugh…

Clara POV**
I came so early to work, have arranged the office.. Remembering that I and my boss now get along gives me joy..I no more see him as the grummpy crazy boss again..
I was anxiously waiting for him to come , he is always early but I don’t what might have kept him so late…

Finally he arrived, he opened the door, I was so happy seeing him,..
Good morning.. How was your …before I could finish.. He cut me off..
Get me my meeting schedule for today.. He said with that annoying voice that I hate.. I was so surprised ,..like what came over him, what annoyed him..I thought we were getting along, how then did he change all of a sudden… Is he always like this,..like he will smile this minute and the next second he is tough…like seriously who does that..
I stood speechless when he said I should get his meetings schedule for the day,..
Honestly I haven’t done that, all I was busy about , is waiting for him to come..
He looked at me…and said ,you heard me clearly right?
Yes sir, but sir I haven’t prepare them.. I said already nervous..
What? You have not prepare them, how could u be this unserious miss Clara, you are here for work not for modeling where you can just display your beauty and all the rest… This is Eden Jewel house “..we work here , we don’t play and note I hate unserious people just like u…he said..

Is this really happening.. Is this not my same boss who was caring two days ago..we even played pillow fight in the hospital
How then did he changed..I was just speechless but then his word kept ringing in my ear..
How dare he call me unserious.. Yes I know I made a mistake but he doesn’t have the f-cking right to define my personality… He can’t just conclude am unserious when he barely know me…
Sir please am sorry but don’t use the word unserious for me , I don’t like it..I said trying to be polite..
He stood up walk to and then said it to my face, …miss Clara sorry but it seems you are unserious… He said..
I looked at him as tears rushed down from my eyes..he actually repeated it, that word that I hate so much…he called me unserious, does he know that unserious people are those who have nothing doing with their life and yet he still calls me that, out of all the abusive words, that particular one pains me..I looked at him in tears, the ran out of the office.
Eden POV**
I hit my fist on the table..what’s wrong with me, I just hurt Clara with my words, I bit my l-ips and ruffled my hair, I angrily throw some files on the ground.. I don’t just understand myself..
Yea I just want to be strict, I don’t want anyone in my heart again, it has been shattered and broken, which I don’t want to experience such again..but now hurting Clara makes my heart bleed..I don’t know what pushed me into saying those words to her face again..
Am just so mad at myself..I wonder where she might have gone..I just hope she is OK, I know now she might have probably hate me..but I don’t blame her, I caused it anyways..
Clara POV “”
I was still crying my my phone rang…I checked it and it was the doctor.. I wonder what the problem is, I quickly wipe my tears and pick the call..
“Hello sir..I said
” hello Clara, I need to see u right now in my office..the doctor said..
Hope no problem sir, I asked already feeling scared, I don’t know the news he want to give me..
No problem, I just to discuss something important with u, before something bad happens..he said..
Immediately I heard something bad..I freeze, I hope nothing has happened to my dad, I can’t loose him, he is all I have..
OK sir am on my way…I said, and he cut the call..

I rushed into the office.. I met some files on the floor..what happened and where is my boss, but now I can’t figure out that , all I want to do is go to the hospital to see dad and know his condition.. I just have to drop a note on his he table , to let him know I quickly went out…

I arrived at the hospital..
Doc…how is my dad, hope he is OK..
Miss clara relax your dad is fine..he said trying to calm me down..
But doc you called me saying you needed my presence urgently, and now am here …please just tell me if anything is wrong with my dad, so that we can find solution.. Please..I said…..right now am so scared..
If dad condition has worsen…
Clara POV ”
the doctor told me to calm down, but right now I don’t think I can, my dad is the only relative I have left, he is my world , my everything, I can’t afford to loose him..am just nervous on what the doctor might say..
my mind flashed back to the office, I pray my boss find the note I drop on the table, I don’t want to give him another reason to question my ability and personality , I just pray he sees the note…
Eden POV**
I entered the office after some minute of aimless drive, I do that often especially when I feel my heart shatters, I was expecting Clara to be in the office because by now I believe she overcome all that happens today, but she was no where to be found, and then my eyes went straight to the table, I saw a note, I quickly open it and read “sir please have gone to see my dad at the hospital , its an emergency, by Clara”.. I close it back..
what wrong with her father, and why will she be in an hurry to go see him, ..I just hope everything is OK, I was still lost in my thoughts when my phone rang..I checked the caller but no name, I wonder who the person is,..I pick the call..
hello ..I said..
hello fatty..the voice came in..
oh my gosh.. I know that voice, that’s granny..

granny I scre-med..
yes fatty its your granny..and am no my way..come get me at the airport..she said in a creaky tone..
airport.. I shouted
yes, come get me or send your wife, you know you promised me, that whenever am coming , I will see my daughter in law and my grand kids..she said..
oh yes, I remember I had made that promise when I want to send her to New York for her treatment, but she had refuse to go , but on the condition that whenever she comes back, I must be married by then, and now all of a sudden she arrive, not even a month or week notice ..oh my how do I cope with granny now, and if she gets
home and did not see anyone acting ad my wife, she will start her drama, and that will make her I’ll again..oh God help me..

I was about leaving the office when Clara came in..
oh my Clara thank God you are here, I said and drag her along with me, I did not even wait for her to say anything, I just drag her to the car and we left..
Clara POV*”
have been noticing how nervous my boss had been ever since we left the office, he didn’t even bother to ask me where I had gone, he look so worried and I wonder what the problem might be.
I myself am so troubled right now, the doctor had told me earlier that dad had diabetes due to the test that was carried out on him yesterday, and because of that if the operation is not done, then his heart might condemn and thereby it will lead to having a donor for him…
I am just so confuse, how will I get 1million within a month, even my salary within 6month cannot cover for it, and even if I borrow , where and where will I go, and now my boss that am looking unto seems so worried as hell, all I just pray for now is a miracle…

he parked the car, and that’s when I noticed where we are, OMG the airport, what are we doing here, is he expecting someone or what…I quickly get down from the car, and we went to the passenger slot, and all of a sudden he shouted “Granny”.. I looked and I saw an aged woman maybe around her 60s but with swag, gosh this woman is funny just her looks alone is something else,..but wait I thought he said his Granny was dead , so who is this one? anyways its none of my business..
I was about to turn when I heard her, call me..
I turn and greeted her, she hug and k-ssed me, oh wow..Eden you have made me proud…she is the one right?…she said looking at eden and pointing at me..
Eden look at me and made a face that I did not understand, then forcibly said yes… ” she is the one..
