” who told me doesn’t matter, answer my question” Khalid said calmly. ” Khalid you won’t understand” Alexa said.

” Alexa I understand what you’re going through, I understand perfectly, let me use this opportunity to tell you about myself.

“I Am Khalid stoner, yeah am a prince, but I don’t like the fact that I was born in a royal family, because of what I pass through in the hand of my family” Khalid said.

“should I continue?” Khalid asked and Alexa nod her head positively.

“my father got married to the queen which is my mother, she was unable to give birth for ten years, then his family advice him to bring in a new wife, because the cabinet is disturbing him for the heir.

my father didn’t agree, my mother also pledge with him to get married to another wife that will give him the heir to the throne, my father agree after so much persuasion from my mother and bring in a new wife.

the new wife gave birth to a son a year after my father got married to her, they’re living peacefully until my mother got pregnant, the small queen arrange some boys to rape my mother, nobody knows she’s the one expect my mother, the king was very sad, but there’s nothing he can do since he loves my mother dearly.

nine month later my mother gave birth to me. my father was very happy he Loves me and my elder brother equally, and I and my brother also love each other. b
but the queen, doesn’t want his son to associate with me, she always told his son to stay away from me because I am a bas***d, Williams truly love me that he die in place of me” he smile and a tears come down from his eyes when he remember how his brother safe him.

” he overheard his mother, telling her driver to hit me with her car.

I and Williams was coming back from school that painful day, when the queen driver drive with speed towards my direction, you might be wondering while we don’t go with a car?” Khalid said and Alexa nod hy head.

” that’s because our school is not far from the palace.

“the car came with full speed, it was too late before we saw the car and a trailer was also coming from our back.

Williams saw the car and pushed me to his side and the car hit him hærd and he fall flatly on the floor. and the driver ran away.

I rushed to help him but there’s nothing I can do about it because it’s too late, did you know his last word?” Khalid asked and Alexa shake his head.

“his last words are, I love you stay away from my mother, because she’s planning to kill you, we are twelve years then.

” Khalid said and burst into tears. ” sorry” Alexa said and move closer to him, she clean his tears with her hand.

” I wasn’t myself since he died because, I felt guilty that Williams die in place of me, Williams his a good brother to me and he doest deserve to die just like that.

“the queen later poison my mother and she died, yeah she killed my mother and accuse me of killing her, with a false evidence, my father was very angry at me and makes me do all the dirty job in the palace, but the queen wasn’t satisfied she invited me to her room one day, I was twenty then, she prepare a very sweet delicacy for me, I rushed the food because it has been long I ate something like that, not knowing she has something in store for me, did you know what she did to me?” Khalid asked.

” no” Alexa replied. ” I will tell you, she told me to come and remove something from her back which I did, she drawn me to herself and shouted for help, I was very surprised and speechless, one of the chiefs, Leo rushed into the room and they saw me un top of her, they reported to the king which is my father and he sent me out of the palace not waiting to for my explanation, that was how i went to my friend Steve, the one working in my office before, as the CEO.

his parents help me and sent me out of the country to further my education, that was how I became what I was today.

I heard my father was looking for me, after six years, I went back home because of my father and kid sister.

I went home and my father was very happy to see me, he apologize and asked for my forgiveness, I forgave him and came back to this town, I haven’t go back home since then, until my personal guard told me he his seriously sick, I have no other choice than to go, because I love my father and I can’t afford to loose him as I loose Williams and my mother” Khalid said.

” Wow you’re a very strong guy, am sure someone told you some of the stories, how did you know what happen when you’re young?” Alexa said. ” yes I Know am strong, my mum told me some before she give up the ghost” Khalid replied.

” so are you ready to forgive your father?” Khalid asked. ” I think am ready” Alexa replied.

” You think you’re ready or you’re ready?” Khalid asked.

they heard a knock on the door and Alexa asked the person to come in, but the person refuse to go in,side.

” I think your father is here” Khalid said. ” how come?” Alexa asked.

” Don’t be surprised I call him to come back” Khalid said. ” oh, how did you get his number?” Alexa asked.

” your friend gave me, don’t keep him waiting, he is waiting for you” Khalid said.

” Alright, thanks” Alexa replied and rushed to open the door.

she opened the door and saw her father standing outside ” Am very sorry my daughter” Mr Martin said.

” no problem dad, I have forgiven you” Alexa said.

” thank you my daughter” Mr Martin said and hug her happily.

” you’re welcome Dad” Alexa replied and disengage from the hug.

” I guess you’re the one that called me” Mr Martin said. ” yes sir” Khalid replied.

” thank you very much my son” Mr Martin said. ” you’re welcome sir” Khalid replied.

Khalid phone ring out loud from his pocket and he brought out the phone.

” excuse me” he said and went out to receive call. ” Hello Dad” Khalid said.

” my son how are you and when are you coming back, remember next tomorrow is your coronation and make sure you come with your girlfriend” his father said. ” Alright Dad, I will come back tomorrow” Khalid said.

she went in,side and Sam Alexa smiling with her father, and she smile happily. ” Alexa, am going back Tomorrow” Khalid said. ” but why?” Alexa asked.

” next tomorrow is my coronation and I want you and Kim to come with me” Khalid said.

he went in,side and Saw Alexa smiling with her father, and she smile happily. ” Alexa, am going back Tomorrow” Khalid said. ” but why?” Alexa asked.

” next tommorow is my coronation and I want you and Kim to come with me” Khalid said.

Alexa burst into laughter.
” Are you kidding me” Alexa asked in between laughter.

“no I mean it, i don’t want to go alone so I want you and kim to come with me” Khalid said.

“I can’t go with you, you can take Kim along with you” Alexa said.

“why” Khalid asked. “I can’t afford to lose my job” Alexa replied.

“common am your boss, and I can’t sack you, you still have your job” Khalid said.

“but who will be in charge of the company when the C.E.O and the manager isn’t around?” blood ask.

“you don’t need to bother about that, my P.A will take charge of the company” Khalid said.

“Alright then, I will go with you” Alexa said. “thank you very much” Khalid said.

“hope you’re not planning to take my daughter away from me?” Mr Martin asked.

“no sir, I dare not take your daughter away from you” Bryan said

“Alright, I heard something about coronation, are you a prince?” Mr Martin asked.

” yes sir” Khalid replied. ” wow you’re very humble, you didn’t behave like a prince” Mr Martin said.

” maybe because am not use to Royal life” Khalid replied. ” oh I see,but all the same, you’re good keep it up and please take care of my daughter and granddaughter there” Mr Martin said.

” Alright sir” Khalid replied. ” Kim come and meet your grandfather” Alexa said and Kim rushed out.

” mum am here where’s my grandfather?” Kim asked. and Alexa point to Mr Martin.

” you mean this man is my grandfather” Kim said. ” yes he’s” Alexa replied and Kim rushed to hug him.

” grandpa where have you been?” Kim asked. ” Am sorry for not coming on time” Mr Martin said.

” Am very happy I have finally gotten myself a father and grandpa” Kim said happily.

” you have finally gotten yourself a father and grandpa, who’s your Dad?” Mr Martin asked.

” see him here” Kim replied pointing at Khalid. ” wow that’s nice” Mr Martin said

” grandpa what did you bring for me?” Kim asked. ” I brought many things for you” Mr Martin said.

” wow thanks” Kim said happily. ” I am the happiest girl on earth” Kim said.

” I can see you’re” her mother replied her. ” Kim we are traveling with your father tommorow” Alexa said.

” really” Kim asked. ” yes daughter” Khalid replied. Kim jumped down from Mr Martin leg and rushed to hug Khalid. ” dad I can’t wait” Kim said happily. ” Am glad you’re happy to go with me” Khalid said.

Sam travel back to the place he came from. Sam horn when he get to the gate and the security man rushed to check the person.

“Good evening sir” the security man greet and open the gate for Sam.

“mark, how are you?” Steve asked. “Am fine” the security man replied. “is my wife in?” Sam ask.

“no she has pack out” the security man replied. “she did what?” Sam ask. “she park out” the security man replied.

“but why?” Sam ask. he brought out his phone and dial his wife number, the phone his ringing but his wife didn’t pick his call. “Emily f*cking pick your calls” Sam said angrily.

“when did she parked out?” Sam ask. “yesterday sir” the security man replied.

“and you allow her to go, what is your work in this house?” Sam ask.

” to guide the house sir” the security man replied. “why did you allow her to go?” Sam ask.

“Am sorry sir, there’s nothing I can do, I talked to her but she refused to listen to me” the security man said.

” consider yourself fired, because you’re not competent” Sam said and drag his hair angrily.

” take it easy boss, keep trying her line am sure she will pick” the security man said. ” Keep quiet, just shut up” Sam said and walked to the house Angrily. he get in,side the sitting room and met the sitting room empty.

The next day.

“Greetings your highness” Khalid greet with a bow. “welcome my son” the king replied.

“oh is this your girlfriend?” the king ask. “yes your highness” Khalid replied and Alexa open her mouth in shock she move closer to Khalid and whisper.

“what did you think you’re doing?” “play along please” Khalid said.

“my daughter how are you doing?” the king ask. and Alexa put on a perfect fake smile.

” Am fine your highness” Alexa replied. “you are highly welcome to the palace” the king said and open his arm wide open for Alexa to hug.

Alexa went and hug the king. “your highness” who’s this the queen ask coming to the king room.

“she’s Khalid wife to be” the king said. “oh, I didn’t know Khalid bis back welcome my dear” the queen said with a smile.

“Dad who are they?” Kim asked pointing to the king and queen. “they’re your grandparents” Khalid replied.

“Khalid what did you mean by we are her grandparents?” the queen ask.

” mother, father meet my daughter Kim” Khalid said. ” how come, you didn’t tell me you have a child” the king said.

” that’s because you don’t ask” Khalid replied. ” come and give grandpa a hug” the king said and Kim went to hug the king.

” she’s very beautiful” the queen said. ” yes, she’s Susan said coming to the king room.

“Susan how are you?” Khalid asked. “I won’t reply you, why don’t you tell me you have a child the last time you came home?” Susan ask.

” Am very sorry Susan please forgive me, it escape my mind” Khalid said.

” you’re forgiven” Susan replied and hug Khalid.

” I missed you brother” Susan said, “I missed you too” Khalid replied. the queen clear her throat and they disengage from the hug.

” let me go and tell the maids to prepare food for you guys, what’s that your name?” the queen ask Alexa.

” Alexa, your majesty” Alexa replied. ” A beautiful name for a beautiful lady like you, welcome to our family” the queen said and went out.

Esther was about to enter the palace when she overheard some maid taking about Khalid, she hide to hear what they’re talking about clearly.

*I never knew the prince has a child outside* Clara one of the maid said. “I wish it was me that gave birth for him, anyway the lady is very lucky” another maid by the name caro said. “her baby mama is very beautiful* Clara said. ” baby mama or the queen to be” caro said. ” whatever” Clara said.

Esther went to the queen room and burst into tears. “Esther what happen and what are you crying?” the queen ask.

” your highness, prince Khalid came with that lady, and you promised me that the prince will marry me” Esther said.

” Esther I have a plan, go in,side the kitchen and join the maids to prepare food for Khalid, I brought this thing from India, it a love poison, it will makes Khalid fall in love with you, it’s very powerful, but make sure you don’t eat out of the food you add this thing” the queen said.

” I hope it’s powerful like you said” Esther said and clean her face with a the back of her hand.

” yes my darling, try it and thank me later” the queen said.

” thank you your majesty” Esther said happily. ” you’re welcome, you deserve it” the queen said and Esther walk out of the queen room happily.

“Dad can I play outside?” Kim asked. “sure but don’t go out of this compound” Khalid said.

“thank you Dad” Kim said and went out. “Khalid, why did you lie to the king and queen?” Alexa asked.

“shut up please, my sister is coming I will explain to you later” Khalid said.

“brother the food is ready, and the maids have serve it on the dinning table, let go to the dinning room to eat” Susan said.

“Alright, Alexa let’s go” Khalid said. “my brother have finally fallen in love, Alexa I will like to have one of two words with you after lunch” Susan said.

“where is Kim?” Khalid asked. “Am back Dad” Kim replied. “let’s eat” Khalid said and dip his spoon in,side the food.
