“Alexa nice meeting you again, what are you doing here?” Sam ask.

Alexa push Sam off her way and run angrily to her room. Khalid also run after her with Kim on his hand.

Sam hiss and sat on his car bonnet. Alexa Rush to her room and burst into tears.

Khalid drop Kim in the sitting room and rush to Alexa room.

he knock at her door. he enter in,side his room when he didn’t hear any response from her.

“Alexa what happen, why are you crying?” Khalid asked and sat by her side.

“he is back” Alexa said crying. “who?” Khalid asked. “kim father” Alexa replied.

“What!! where’s the bas***d?” Khalid asked angrily. “he is outside” Alexa replied.

“you mean Sam, is Kim father?” Khalid asked. and Alexa nod her head still crying.

“oh sorry I never knew my Friend is the bas***d that got you pregnant and ran away” Khalid said and place Alexa head on his shoulder.

“sorry don’t cry again, he doesn’t deserve you, don’t cry because of him, don’t let him know you’re still hurt, let him know you’re stronger than he thought, don’t cry again, he doesn’t deserve your tears.

“Ahhhh” Sam growl painfully. “that serves you right, don’t make my mother cry next time” Kim said and run in,side.

“I will be right back” Khalid said and went out. “Khalid can you imagine what that little girl did to me” Sam said.

“you mean your daughter?” Khalid asked and fold his hand on his chest. “you mean that girl is the child Alexa gave birth too, wow she’s so beautiful and smart” Sam said.

“you’re a fool for saying that” Khalid said. he move closer to him and punch him hærd in his face.

“what did I do to you?” Sam ask and hold his face. “I haven’t even started with you, you’re complaining, you won’t be able to walk if I finish with you Khalid said and pounce on him and started beating him.

Alexa rushed out and separate them. “you dont need to stress yourself because of this fool” Alexa said to Khalid.

Khalid walk to his apartment angrily and Sam also follow him. “where did you think you’re going to?” Khalid asked.

“common we are still friends, we have been friends for the past ten years and you can’t push me away because of a woman you hærdly know” Sam said.

“one more word from you and I will blow off your teeth” Khalid said.

“relax man you don’t even ask me why I ran away?” Sam said. “I didn’t ask you because I know isn’t necessary” Khalid said.

“Khalid remember you’re not better than me” Sam said. “I am nothing like you Sam, I am a playboy I accept, I am who I am because of a reason well know to you, and If I eventually get a girl pregnant, I will accept and take responsibility, even though I wont marry her and I don’t promise marriage when I knew am not ready, you promised her heaven and earth.

“you’re a fool” Khalid said angrily. “I agree am back to make things right, am back to take responsibility on my daughter and Alexa, that girl is very smart and beautiful.

“you must be joking” Khalid said and slam his door hærd in his face.

“Khalid I will come back tommorow make sure you help me talk to her, because I can do anything to have my woman and child back” Sam said.

“F*ck off” Khalid said from his room. “Khalid I knew you are still mad at me, but I said am sorry when I say am sorry you knew I mean it, I love Alexa and I really do” Sam said.

“Emily, I don’t know what I was doing then, I need Alexa I need to see her, it has been six years Alexa left this house” Mr Martin said.

“Am not sure Alexa is still alive, because she would have come to the house if she’s truly Alive” Mrs Martin said.

“Are you wishing Alexa death?” Mr Martin asked. “no why will I wish my daughter death” Mrs Martin said.

“my daughter is not death of can feel she’s still alive” me martin said. “your personal assistant called, he said some people are waiting for you at the company” Mrs Martin said. “Am not in the mood to see anyone tell him I am not coming” Mr Martin said.

“I know you’re doing this because of the prince and am telling you stay away from the queen, queen stoner isn’t a good person and am very sure the prince didn’t love you” her my mother said.

” mother the queen is a very good woman, she can’t do anything to me” Esther said.

” Esther I have said my own, stay away from the queen and prince” Esther mother said.

” mother I am not staying away from them it’s Khalid I will get married to, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it” Esther said.

” I have said my own, thank God you’re not my only child” Esther mother said and went to her room.

Khalid dressed up and went out of his apartment, he went to Alexa apartment and gentle place a knock on her door.

Kim rushed to open the door and she was happy to see Khalid.

” good morning dad” kim greet. “how’s my baby doing today?” Khalid asked.

“am doing good” Kim replied happily and left the door wide open for Khalid to enter.

“Alexa what happen to your eyes” Khalid asked. “bad man beat mum yesterday” Kim said.

“bad man, Alexa who beat you?” Khalid asked. “it’s Sam” Alexa replied. “you mean sam, came here when he left my apartment yesterday?” Khalid asked and Alexa nod her head in reply.

“is Sam crazy, what has gotten over him, I never knew Sam is a monster, I am very sorry on his behalf” Khalid said.

“you don’t have to be sorry” Alexa said. “where’s Sam, don’t tell me you let him go Scott free after beating you up like this” Khalid said.

“No he’s in the police custody” Alexa replied. “that serves him right, I will make sure he didn’t come near you and my daughter again. where’s your car key I will be the one to drive you and my baby today” Khalid said.

“Alright Alexa said and gave him her car key.

“oh am sorry” Alexa said slapping her mouth with her hand. Kim ran to her class and Khalid start the car.

“I thought we are sleeping here today” Alexa said. “no I guess you’re jealous of my princess” Khalid said.

” me jealous, I am not jealous of her, how can I be jealous of my child” Alexa said.

Khalid drove off to his company, he park his car at the garage and came down with Alexa.

” Alexa” Khalid call. ” yes” Alexa replied. ” I can see you’re not happy since, you doesn’t look happy, and am very sure you’re thinking about Sam” Khalid said.

” yes I am, Sam wasn’t like this before” Alexa said. “you knew Sam when he doesn’t have money, isn’t it?” Khalid asked.

“yes and he is so good to me then, I don’t know what came over him” Alexa said.

“you don’t have to worry about him, he is being good to you because, he Doesn’t have money then, you need to forget about him, he isn’t useful to you, just know I am always here for you and Kim, you don’t need to think about someone that doesn’t add any value to your life” Khalid said.

“thank you for being there for me and my daughter, we really appreciate” Alexa said and they both went in,side the company.

“good morning sir” the workers greet and Khalid wave his hand in reply.

“Hi Alexa” jack said. “hello jack nice hearing from you today” Alexa said.

“yeah am sorry for not coming to your house all this while” jack said.

“no problem I understand” Alexa said. “how’s Kim doing?” jack asked. “she’s doing good” Alexa replied.

“Alexa am thinking if we can have lunch together this afternoon” jack said.

“oh no problem send me the location” Alexa said. “thanks I will send it now” jack replied.

” Alright” Alexa replied and end the call. Khalid enter her office and sat on her office table.

” good afternoon boss” Alexa greet. ” my name is Khalid not boss” Khalid replied.

” I can’t call you by your name here, you’re my boss and it will be disrespectful if I call you by your name” Alexa said.

” we are friends, Alexa so you’re free to call me by my name” Khalid said.

” Alexa who are you talking with on the phone?” Khalid asked.

“who am talking with is none of your business” Alexa replied with a smile.

” who you’re talking with is my business” Khalid replied. ” why is it your business?” Alexa asked.

” because I am your boss” Khalid said and Alexa burst into laughter. ” Aren’t you the one that say I should call you by your name just now?” Alexa ask.

“Alexa let put joke aside, who are you talking with on phone before I came in and where are you going with him?” Khalid asked.

” it was jack, am going out for lunch with him” Alexa replied. ” oh” Khalid said scratching the back of his head.

” what happen why are you scratching your head?” Alexa asked. ” I was thinking if we can have lunch together today, but nevermind” Khalid said.

” why not we can have lunch together” Alexa said. “how I thought you are going for lunch with jack” Khalid said.

“yeah but you can come with me, after all you are both my friends” Alexa said. “Alright I will be right back” Khalid said and went out his office.

“Good afternoon sir, welcome to Caro restaurant, what will you like to order” a waitress said.

“Ryan come back, don’t worry I will attend to the customer” caro said and Walk to jack table.

” good afternoon, what will you like to order sir?” caro asked and jack lift up his head from the table.

” oh caro did you work here?” jack asked. “this place is mine” caro replied.

“oh this place is nice” jack said. “thank you, how’s Alexa and her daughter?” caro asked.

“she’s fine” jack replied. ” please give me her number, I misplaced my phone and i have something important to discuss with her” caro said.

” Alexa is coming here, for lunch” jack replied. ” that’s nice, I will wait for her, I wanted to go out before, you came” Caro said. “Alright call me when she come” caro said.

Alexa Walk in,side the restaurant with Khalid by her side. Jack was dissapointed to see her with jack.

“Hi” Khalid greet with a smile and jack nod his head in reply. jack stood up to order for their foods.

“is Alexa here?” caro asked. “yes, she is here, she came with Khalid” jack said.

“my love is here” caro said happily and ran to their table. she engulfed Khalid in a very tight hug.

she disengage from the hug, and hug Alexa happily. “Caro what are you doing here?” Khalid asked.

“this place is mine, nice seeing you here, I really missed you Alot” caro said. “you mean you own this place?” Khalid said and caro nod her head.

“wow this place is nice” Khalid said. “thank you” caro replied with a smile.

“Alexa please can I see you for some minutes” caro said. ” sure” Alexa replied and stood up they both went to another table.

” what’s up Buddy” Khalid greet and jack nod his head. “I can see you don’t like me, did I do something wrong to you?” Khalid asked.

“no you didn’t do anything wrong to me, I am not just comfortable with you” jack replied. ” but why, is it because of Alexa” Khalid asked.

” Alexa what happen to your face?” caro asked. ” caro leave my face for now and tell me the reason why you wanna see me, I will tell you what happen to my face later” Alexa replied.

” Alright, I want you to help me talk to Khalid, I really love Khalid but I can see, he isn’t ready for relationsh¡p, I will like if you can help me talk to him” caro said. ” Caro I can’t help you talk to him” Alexa replied.
