My life at Thirty
Episode 3
It was already 15 weeks our first semester
started, exams was fast approaching, time
table was out and i started studying hærd with
adequate preparations. My exam preparation
doesn’t stop me with my activities in MSSN in
fact when am not in class, you will find me in
the mosque reading my book and used the
opportunity to attend to any other activities.
 
Whenever am home too, it was night reading
till the following morning same thing with
Ismaeel even though he was not as serious in
reading as me which made me surprise when
he told me his CGPA for 100level was 3.95.
 
Exam was already here and gone and we were
given 3weeks break, i decided to travel home
but Ismaeel said he doesn’t have any plan to
go home as their was nothing to go and do at
home, he even sent me to his parent to pass
whatever they want to give him through me. I
got home was so happy to see every member
of my family, its been more than 3 months we
last saw each other.
 
I already had the experience of what is it like
being in the higher institution. I gist my Zainab
about my experience in school and the hostel,
most especially the ugly incident of my
neighbour.
 
Zainab was not surprised and in her words
“That is very common among students living
off campus now, its no new thing, we have
them in my school too and i have a friend that
is living that life too..they will be single at
home but married in school, they will submit
all their life to the guy and at the end of it all,
the relationsh¡p always end in school as 98%
of them doesn’t marry each other after
school..the girls only useless themselves”.
 
My parent were very proud of me that have
not lost focus in the line i was brought up,
how will i even lost focus when i knew the
kind of dad that i had. Nimat was already in
SSS1 going to SSS2.
 
The 3 weeks was already here and gone,
Ismaeel was already calling me that he is
missing me that i should come back to school
as early as possible, i went to their house and
i was given food stuff, i joined it with the one
my parent gave me and we had load of food
stuffs from garri, to Rice, Beans and sweet
potatoes which is what we Offa people are
known to have in abundant. With all the load ii
had with  me, i had to charter Taxi to the
hostel from post office.
I got to the hostel and Ismaeel was so happy
to see me, he asked me about my stay at
home and i told him everything was fine and i
enjoyed my stay at home. I asked about how
he was staying in the hostel and if it was that
interesting as i believe most of the people in
the house also went home for holiday.
 
Ismaeel: home ke? I can tell you that it was
only you and Aminat that went home for the
holiday
Me: Who is Aminat
Ismaeel: One of the lady staying downstairs
now..the one that uses scarf..
Me: Ohhh…i know her
Ismaeel: she’s back too sha..she came back
yesterday
Me: Ohk…so, how was your stay..
Ismaeel: Fine oooo…….something even
happened when you were away
Me: ehn ehn…what was that
Ismaeel: esther and Titi fought each
other..serious fight ooo
Me: Which one is Esther again?
Ismaeel:Sorry, i forgot you don’t even know
any one of them…..You know the slimmest of
the ladies staying downstairs, that has a
b0s0m that is bigger than her body and has a
flat yansh? (Astagfrillahi)
Me: Ahuzubillahi…you don’t have to describe
her that way Alfa ismail …..Astagfrillahi (Allah
forgive us)
Ismaeel: that is why i said astagfrillahi
immediately now..it was a mistake…but do you
know the slimmest one among them?
Me: Yes of course……what business do they
have in common that will lead to fight
Ismaeel: that was how we saw it oooo…..Titi
accused her of trying to s£duce her boyfriend
Me: how?
Ismaeel: She said Esther was always in their
room with provocating clothes, in fact that
particular day, she said she came home and
met Esther on their bed with just a tub on and
a short mini skirt that expose all her K!
ttyC@t. Her own boyfriend was only putting
on boxer and towel rollover her neck.
Me:”i did as if i didn’t hear the vulgar word of
K!ttyC@t Ismaeel uttered”.. How will someone
went to a guy house in that kind of dressing…
Ismaeel: Oh…oh, you can ask again…so, the
first thing she did was to slap Esther and they
started fighting in,side the room, i was just
hearing voices from our room and trying to go
and check, i realized that Esther was already
Unclad, her skirt was nowhere to be found…
even the tub she was wearing was pull down,
sincerely, the b0s0m was out of this world…it
was standing and firm
Me: Ahuzubillahi, stop saying all this Alfa
Ismaeel…they are ungodly statement.
Ismaeel: Am very sorry, just trying to explain
ni…Astagfrillahi
Me: May almighty Allah forgive us…how did
they now settled it
Ismaeel: I had to drag Esther out of the room
to our own room, gave her a towel to put all
over her wa-ist, went back in,side Ezekiel room
to fetch her skirt and she dressed back again
and went into her room
Me: Does that means nobody was at home
that day?
Ismaeel: unfortunately, house was dry that day
and we were the only one at home at that
particular moment. I thought everything was
over until i started hearing noise from outside
again. Stepped out and saw that two girls
were beating Titi
Me: Two girls?
Ismaeel: Yes….Esther and one of her
friend….she was wearing a jean trouser and a
top, Ezekiel stepped out to get something at
tipper garage so they use the opportunity to
drag her out of the room and did justice to
her. The funniest thing was that they battered
her seriously and torn her own cloth too and
as usual, she was not putting on anything. The
most unfortunate thing was that it was almost
full house in the compound that evening as
her own happened in the evening when
everybody was back home
Me: laila illa Lahu Mohammed Rosullulahi
(There is no God except Allah and prophet
Mohammed is his messenger)..who now
separated them and how did they settle it
Ismaeel: We separated them and thank God
mummy was also back from work, so she
called everybody into her room and settled the
differences.
Me: What was Esther looking for in his room in
the first place?
Ismaeel: She said house was bored as she has
been indoor since morning, there was no light
and Ezekiel put on generator, infact he was
even the one that invited her in,side his room
and since it was not the first time she was
going there, she sees it as nothing until Titi
came in and started misbehaving…………..
Me: truth be told, even if he invited her, cant
she put on something that covers her body to
his room?
Ismaeel: This is hostel now…..you know most
of the girls in this school that are not allowed
to dress anyhow to school use the opportunity
of staying in the hostel to dress as they like,
at least there is freedom in mode of dressing
in your house even if its not allowed in school
Me: Thats true sha
Ismaeel: Ezekiel also said that it was just a
coincidence that Titi met him with his boxers
that he just came back from outside and
decided to take his birth and it was a surprise
to him that Titi reacted that way
Me: Allahu Allam (Allah knows best)…but
come to think of it, what will Esther have to
do with Ezekel, they have two years different
now….she’s in year 3 while Ezekiel is just a
fresher so, the distance is much for Esther
and Ezekiel to be dating
Ismaeel: Its not by that oooo….Forget level
Alfa Abdulrahman, we have seen a situation
where a 400level lady is dating a 100level
guy…
Me: lailai..for what?……..
Ismaeel: Situations like that happened
whenever the guy happened to be loaded with
cash or come from a wealthy
background….has a car with sugar coated
mouth and most importantly know how to play
his game very well.
