“Shit!!!” He cursed and dropped me down on the bed,
“What is wrong with you???” He questioned with grimace
“You love it right?” I teased and he gruffed
“I think I’m forced to leave here, you are more silly than I thought” he scoffed and walked away..
Could it be that he can’t fall??
What sort of human is this??..
 
Anne’s POV
“Anne I think we have to leave this country” Jeremy said and I cringed
“Really? Where are we going to?” I asked in surprise
“I don’t really know but I am afraid you may be hurt if we stay here” he said and I sighed
“So the guy is living with Sophia?” I asked and he nodded
“Why can’t she convince him to stop chasing after my life if truly she had start liking me” I asked
“She can’t change his mind, he is sent on a mission and he would carry it out..but.. he would not kill you instead he would take you to Sophia’s father where you would be tortured” he explained and I felt my heart sank
I have never been tortured but I have seen where someone is being tortured, like Lisa..
“Would I be raped?” I asked frightfully
“No one can tell, anything could happen to you, they may decide cutting your fingers” he said and my blood freezed
“Ohhh gosh!!.. I’m getting afraid” I muffled and he hugged me tightly..
Just then, my phone rang and I glanced at it, it was from an unsaved number..
“Hello who I’m I speaking with?” I said immediately
“Anne rush back home now, I have something to tell you” the hoarse voice which I guess would be my foster father said
“See me right away” I said and ended the call..
“My foster father is calling me home guess he has finally decide for me to to Richærd” I said to Jeremy with joy
“Okay let’s go, I’m esc-rting you, who knows, that guy may be waiting for you again” he said and I smiled as we both walked away…
Not long after, we got to my apartment, I walked in and Jeremy drove back home..
“Ehen why the sudden call?” I said to my foster dad immediately I entered the sitting room
“I just want to tell you that you can go to your father but it would be tommorow, I would be giving you some pictures so you can convince him that you are his daughter” he said and I let out a huge smile,
I felt my blood pressure rise in happiness and joy, I couldn’t just imagine me going to live with such a rich man who would give me all I want, I can’t just imagine the fact that I would no longer be seen as a commoner but someone important..
“Okay I’ve heard you, thanks for letting me go” I said with a wide smile while he nodded and walked away upstairs,
Just then, my ex stepmom walked to me from her room, she was fully dressed and really looked gorgeous..
“You are leaving?” I asked immediately
“Any problem with that?” She snapped
“No just thinking you would get married to my foster dad” I said with a teasing smile getting a glare from her
“He isn’t my class” she said waving her hand through the air
“But don’t you think he would have been crushing on you badly but maybe shy to say it out to you” I said and she chuckled
“I don’t care” she said dryly and turned to walk upstairs, just that moment was when Micheal was coming out, they both bumped into each other and my stepmom loss balance and made to fall but Micheal cut hold of her wrapping his hand round her wa-ist in a rom-ntic way,
I quickly brought out my phone and captured it..
They both turned to me with a raised brow..
“Are you crazy?” They both asked in unison before glancing at each other…
“Why did you hold me that way??!!” My stepmom bawled at Micheal who was just smiling sheepishly..
“You both are in love!!” I scre-med at them and they arched their brow at me…
I walked away and went to my room to get prepared, I am very eager to live with Richærd,
“Richærd I’m your daughter” I said to myself acting like I was standing in front of him…
I packed my bag and belongings before taking my bath,
After bathing, I slumped on the bed waiting for sleep, I have to just calm my nerves, tommorow is school,
As I made to fall asleep, the thought of what happened today went through my memory lane and I felt my body turn cold, does this means that my life is now endangered?
Oh gosh!!!
I kept swimming through different thoughts until I went asleep…
I woke up the next day and quickly got prepared for school, I walked to the sitting room only to find Micheal and my stepmom dragging the remote control, I smiled and walked closer to them..
“Guess you both are now getting along” I said and they both turned their gaze at me,
“When did you get here you little girl??” Michael asked with a lopsided smile,
“That’s not the main thing here, the main thing is that you and my stepmom is about to fall for each other” I said with a funny smile
“That’s what you think, I can’t fall for this man here, he doesn’t suit me, infact I can’t fall for a guy who isn’t a V-rgin, have you forgot that he is a married man??” My stepmom said rolling her eyes
“You also is not a V-rgin, you both really match, I would love to see you both get married and start your life afresh” I said and turned to Micheal..
“Where is the picture because I’m ready to meet Richærd you know I would meet him in the school” I said with a smile.
“Go over to the dinning table” he beckoned and I quickly rushed to the dinning..
I picked up the album on the table and started going through it,
It contained all my pics starting from my childhood to my adulthood, I smiled to myself before rushing off to school, I can’t wait to show this to Richærd…
“Bye lovers!!” I scre-med at them before dashing out..
Immediately I got out of the gate, Jeremy drove forward and halted in front of me,
I hopped in quickly,
“Oh God, how did you know I’m already set to leave?” I asked and he smiled
“It’s a mystery dear” he cooed and pecked my l-ips..
“Do you know today would be the final day?” He said and I arched my brow
“The final day for what?” I asked and he giggled
“Today is the day the result would be out officially” he stated
“For the drama?” I asked and he nodded
“Yeah, there is no doubt I’m acting that scene with you but the problem is that Sophia’s dad would hear of it and get infuriated to the core, it would increase his hatred to you, he would be forced to add more pressure on your life” Jeremy sighed and I exhaled heavily..
“So should we state it clearly to them that we are not acting the scene together?” I asked and he shook his head,
“Don’t mention that??” He said with a smile
We both reached the school and drove to the car park,
We both hopped down and walked side by side with our hands clutched together..
Just as we entered the class everyone turned their gaze on us with their eyes filled with emotion, I could see many girl feeding their eyes on the cuteness of Jeremy, there is no doubt they still drool over him…
I sat down with Jeremy and the first place my gaze went was where Steve was sitting, I could not see him on his seat, guess he would no longer come to school, maybe he is afraid I would report him..
I smiled and glanced at Jeremy who was busy with his phone,
I wrapped my hand round his neck and k-ssed his cheek,
“What is that for?” He asked with a smile
“I just feel like?” I said and rested my head on the desk…
Just then, the school bell rang and I glanced at Jeremy..
“What is that for?” I asked with an arched brow..
“We are going for the final practice for the drama” he replied and stood up
“Are we still gonna do another practice?” I asked and he nodded
“This time it would be dual, we would be singing together” he explained and I grinned
“Let’s go!’ I beckoned and held his palm closely to myself..
We both walked to the room and just immediately we entered, like usual, everyone gaze fell on us, guess they are really wishing to be like me, having the most cutest guy as my boyfriend..
We both sat down on an empty seat with our gaze straight to the drama instructor who was giving some teaching on how to act…
Just then, a student walked up to me…
“Drake wants to see you in the proprietor’s office” the young girl said and walked away, I took a deep breath and glanced at Jeremy and found him also standing up to follow me..
“Are you going with me??’ I asked with surprise..
“Yes why not?” He said
“It isn’t necessary, I would give him a piece of his cake, I promise to record my harsh words to him” I said with a smile and he nodded and sat down after pecking my cheek,
I rushed off to the office and barged in without knocking,
There was Drake sitting all alone on a swivel chair with his gaze on me..
“Wow you really came, I thought you would neglect my call” he said with a smirk
“Say whatever gibberish you want to say!” I gruffed with a frown
“Have a sit!” He gestured with a grim
“What if I don’t want to, just say what made you call me here or I would be forced to leave!” I bawled and he smirked
“I guess you would have known the stunt I pulled and may have hated me for that, but I want you to know that i did it for your own good, why do you find it hærd getting what I’m saying to you, you are endangering your life staying with Jeremy, he..”
“Spare me all those guff! I’ve heard enough, leave me alone, it is my life, why are you disturbed?” I asked and he sighed
“I’m disturbed because I love you and for you to get hurt would make me feel sad” he said and I chuckled
“Stop deceiving your self, you don’t love me because if you do, you would not report me, you want me to get hurt so what do you mean by saying you love me, you don’t!!! If you do, you would always want me to be happy and that Is by leaving my life entirely!!’ I fumed and he giggled
“I’m as desperate as you never thought and unless you leave that guy Jeremy and accept me, I’ll make you regret your choice, I’d make you suffer!!!’ he seethed
“Is that all” I said dryly
“Watch and see what I would do” he said in anger stomping his fist on the table
“I don’t care!!! Do your worst!!” I bawled and dashed out of the room with tears dripping down
As much as I want to be strong, I still feel anxiety, I am afraid of what Drake would do…
I walked into the drama room and sat down
“What Is it?” Jeremy inquired immediately he saw my eyes teary
“Drake promised to hurt me!” I said to him and he sighed
“He may be trying to make you feel bad, you are the daughter of the school proprietor so no one can hurt you” he said and I felt better, I had suddenly forgot that…
Just then, Drake walked up to the stage and beckoned on Sophia and Jeremy to come up and sing..
They both sang and it was nice but I could see how anxious everyone was as they waited for me to come up..
After they ended up, I came up and started, everyone was amazed, I could see their eyes filled with emotions, they were all swooning, our voice really matched and it was really great, we hadn’t even concluded before everyone started clapping their hands…
“Well..well..well..that’s great but I don’t think Anne would sing with Jeremy” Drake said out and everyone arched their brow at him. I was really stunned…
“What do you mean???” Jeremy was the first to throw the question to him
“I am a singer and I know when two voice match, Anne and Jeremy doesn’t match so he would be singing with Sophia” he announced and everyone stared at him in shock
“I…”
“No more question..” he huffed and walked away but not without giving me a smirk..
“We are reporting to the school proprietor immediately” Jeremy said but I sighed
“He isn’t in school and I don’t know his house although I have been there once but I can’t remember” I said and he nodded
“Let’s go!” He beckoned and we all left
The day went fast and before I could know it, the bell rang for closure, I went home feeling sober, no matter how much Jeremy tried making me feel calm I just can’t be..
I waited all day for the next morning, the only person that can save me is Richærd, he is the one who employed Drake so he can actually alter his word, I can’t just wait to reveal my self to him, pray he comes to school, I know Drake is yet to know that I’m Richærd’s daughter, if he had known, he wouldn’t place that false judgement…
I fell asleep because no one was at home, I don’t know where my step mom and my foster father had went to..
It was morning when I got up, I quickly took my bath and dressed up, it was earlier than before but I don’t care, I can’t wait to reveal everything to Richærd..
I dashed out of house not minding about the whereabout of my stepmom and Micheal…
I chartered a bus to school because I couldn’t see Jeremy stop by, I’m sure he has not yet got prepared..
His mystery has failed him,
I smiled to myself as I got near to school…
Just immediately the bus halted, I ran into the school and headed straight to the proprietor’s office, I found no one in there..
Guess he is yet to come, I have to wait..
I walked to the school garden and sat down anxiously…
I was about bringing out my phone to call Jeremy when I sighted a group of boys coming to my direction..
I gazed at them confusedly untill they came much closer…
“Anne we want you out of this school!!” They shouted and I cringed in terror
“What do you mean??” I asked
“We hate you, leave us!!” They huffed and I opened my mouth to talk but couldn’t as I felt a cold water splash through my wh0le body..
Oh no not again!!!
“What is my crime!!!!” I shouted
“You are a girl on scholarsh¡p and you want to take over us who are real student, we don’t want it!!! Leave us!!!” They shouted and started pouring different things on me
Raw tomato
Egg
Oil
Water
Sand
It came on me like rain, many student were joining the crew in maltreating me…
“We don’t want you anymore, leave us!!!” Their voice kept hovering through the air..
Just then, I found out that I was no longer feeling anything, it was as if someone was covering me..
I looked up and found Jeremy standing as a bulwark..
The student wasn’t even ready to stop, they kept throwing all sort of rubbish to us
“Who poisoned your minds???”
“Why are you all doing this???”
“Stop she is innocent!!!” Jeremy, David, Sophia and Lisa kept trying to stop them but they were bent…
Just then, Richærd drove to school and they all scattered away, few of them followed him behind
“What is happening there??” He asked but they forced him to reach his office before they would explain their mind to him
I was left with only Jeremy and my other friends,
“What happened?” They all asked in unison and I let out all everything to them..
“This must be the handwork of Drake, he must have made them believe you are trying to be superior over them” Sophia said
“Let’s go to the office” Jeremy suggested and we all went off with our body still full of dirt..
“Go and bring that pictures, I’ve to tell Richærd who I am” I said and David ran off to bring it…
We dashed into the office and found Richærd signing a doc-ment which stated that I should be expelled…
My eyes w¡dened in shock,
“Anne thank God you are here, erm..I am just signing you off, you are expelled from this school, or if you must stay, you would pay for the terms you had been here, you are under scholarsh¡p and you had starting acting superior over the student here, they all hates you now and wants you to leave, I can’t do anything to stop this, I’m sorry” Richærd said slowly and handed the script to me..
I let out a smile with my gaze fixed on him,
“If I were you, I’ll never do this” Jeremy said and he glanced at him confusedly…
Just then, David came in with the pictures,
I took it and handed it to Richærd who took it,
He went through it and became shaken at what he saw, he kept glancing at me them to the picture.
“You are my daughter??” He asked and I kept staring at him…
“Omg!!!!!!”
He ran to me and hugged me tightly…
“You are my daughter Anne!!” He scre-med and everyone stared at us in with shock written all over their face…
I guess it is time for revenge…
