Steve’s POV
I quickly broke the k-ss just when it was about to grow intense..
“Shit!!!” I cursed and walked away with a quick short step,
I can’t believe I’m now stupid,
I can’t believe that I could be a fool in just a twinkle of an eye..
I just k-ssed Sophia like I’m falling in love with her, I know it that I can’t be in love, the truth is that I was just emotional, her words made me sober and I was pushed to k-ss her even when I know she is nothing to me,
Yeah that’s it…
She can’t make me fall because it is impossible, my heart had been stiffed for a very long time and I don’t think any of her prank could get me…
I walked into my room and slumped on the bed with my gaze up to the ceiling, my heart was not in one place, it was scattered around in different thoughts, I don’t know what to say about my feelings now…
A lady led me to being an assassin, I hate women with passion and I don’t have mercy on any lady I’m sent to assassinate….
I wasn’t like this 15 years ago, I am a guy whose life was the best every guy would want to be, I had the best girlfriend, the best parents and the best friends all around me, being the only son of my parent I lacked nothing, I really enjoyed every single moment of my life.. but it all ended one day, my while life turned into a mess in just a day, that which I can’t forget, a day that would always be a scar in my heart, the day that led me into being what I never thought I could become…
It was the greatest blow that actually left me mentally unstable…
I am someone who fall in love in a way that is so much exaggerating, I have the soft heart that could be hurt easily,
I had loved Clara like she is my body, I loved her like my breath, I never for once had any reason to dislike her, we grew up together and like I thought, our love was unbreakable, I had thought nothing could depart us, I trusted her like I never trust anyone, if I had ever heard that she would ever cheat and jilt me, I’d never for any reason believe, she was the kind of lady I love…
Till date I still don’t know what was her reason for doing that to me, what was the reason?????
Clara was someone I vowed to marry, my parent knew very much of our love, I would always swear that she loved only me if I had not caught her in the act,
I caught her having s€× with another guy in her bedroom…
Just like every other day, I had decided paying her an unexpected visit, I was even holding a very beautiful and well wrapped flower, i wanted to make her special that day, I was holding the flower meticulously close to my heart as I walked to her house, I couldn’t help smiling to myself as I thought of how happy she would become after I hand it to her,
I didn’t knock on the door so she would not get notice of my presence but all my joy, all my happiness, all my glee turned into a total sadness, I felt my wh0le spirit drained totally…
On the bed was my beloved Clara enjoying her self with the strange guy, I couldn’t believe my eyes, I never want to believe it, I had to pinch myself to be sure it wasn’t a nightmare, bit after the pinch I realised I wasn’t dreaming, it was real and pure…
The flower in my hand fell off from my grip, the little sound made the both of them got aware of my presence, they both turned to my direction in fright…
My eyes went teary and my legs wobbled..
“Cl..ara…” I stuttered as she kept gazing at me,
The guy rose to leave in anger but she drew him back..
“Please don’t go, I’ll settle everything” she said to the guy in a very soft way…
I felt my stomach grumble at the word, my throat went sore…
“Steve why are you here without informing me of your coming??” She gruffed and I felt shiver ran through my wh0le body, I instantly got cold…
“You don’t just barge into someone’s house like a jerk, can you just leave now as you can see, I’m busy!” She huffed and I became dumb, I opened my mouth to talk but no word came out, it was just tears that kept rolling, this is the last thing I expected, I never had any thought that this would happen..
“Are you deaf! Just leave and stop wetting my floor with those stupid tears” she growled and I shut my eyes tightly to get some breath because I don’t think I’m breathing fine, her words kept running through my brain in a rush inflicting unbearable pains in me…
“Clara why..?? W..hy?.. ” I could only splutter,
What can I say???
“Ohh, I actually forgot!” She squealed and smiled then turned to the guy who was smiling foolishly
“He is badly crushing on me and in his mind, I love him, he thought I have any feeling for him” she said and the both of them laughed loudly in a hysterics manner making the pain in my heart grow more intense…
“He even gave me a ring..” she added and this time, their laughter got louder…
“Let me state it more clearly to you??” She drawled and removed the ring from her finger and flinged it at my face
“Know this now, I’m quite sorry you found out this way, but I don’t love you and know it clearly, there is nothing between us again, go your way and don’t try coming near time because I’m already engaged to him” she said pointing at the guy who quickly wrapped his arms around round her wa-ist closely to his body smirking at me…
I turned to leave because I was really dying,
“Come back, pick this outdated flower and give it to some cheap slut that would keep lurking around you” she said in a sarcastic tone..
I halted my step and swerved to her direction..
“I’ll make sure I destroy your life!!!” I shouted at her hut they just laughed it off not knowing o was very serious…
Going home, I felt abnormal, day after day, I got to find out that I was losing my senses,
I was acting normal but at time, I didn’t behave like a fool, I do forget things easily, but one thing found out was that I was having a very intense hatred toward girls…
One day, I stumbled upon a guy, he was an assassin and on seeing how stony I was becoming, he introduced me to the assasin clan,
At first, I rejected his offer but after some time, I decided to join because I was no longer having any love towards anyone around me, everyone o set my eyes on is an enemy and that had made me cruel…
After going through series of training, I became an expert and was ranked, I was specialized in the assassination of ladies, some of my colleagues do get charmed by the beauty of some ladies who they were sent to assassinate but I was different, I had no mercy on any lady no matter how beautiful you may appear, it never moved me, I kill like no other but my first target in assassinating was Clara…
I killed her brutally without mercy then I went after the other strange guy who was dating her, I killed also and that was when my heart became stony like it is,
Love was very far away from me, emotions wasn’t for me, any thing connected to feeling had no place in my heart…
Many ladies had losed their loves while trying to get me because I ends up taking their life..no one knows how I carries out my job because I was a guy who has an innocent face and look but my heart is as dark as you can ever thought of…
I let out a deep sigh and sat up from the bed..
The first thought that flashed through my mind was Sophia..
I let out a smile..
I guess she doesn’t know me, I would not mind taking her life if she tries playing hærd on me…
The only thing she was able to do to me was making me grow sober, she has this way of making me listen to her but that doesn’t mean I can ever get myself to having feelings for her…
I’d kill Anne and leave this country immediately, it would be a big shame for me to fall for a girl at this time when I have got known of being cold to them…
Jus then, my phone rang, I glanced at the screen and saw the caller as Sophia’s dad..
I quickly picked it up..
“Hello howdy?” I greeted in a chirp voice
“What is going on?” He asked and I arched my brow
“What do you mean?” I asked
“Why are you still wasting time man? Have you gotten her??” He grumbled
“I haven’t but would in no distance time
“I don’t think would be able to come down to that country, so what I want is her being killed..just kill her and make sure no other lady gets near to Jeremy” he instructed and I nodded
“What if your daughter falls in love with another guy?” I queried
“Don’t hesitate to take the life of the guy, my daughter must marry Jeremy, I don’t care if she wants it or not!!” He huffed
“Okay” I muttered
“Please be fast! I can’t bear to see Jeremy go on with any other girl, I desperately wants the both of them to ma…” I cut the call and shoved my phone into my pocket and shuffled to the corner of my room where a computer set was,
I booted it on and started a thorough check up on Anne and I got what I really want, she would be going to an opening party of a hotel tomorrow, that would be the right time to attack, the time for her journey was 9:00 pm,
I couldn’t help smiling as I closed the system, after I’m done killing her, I’d leave this country side there isn’t any need thinking of Sophia’s actions towards me…
My phone rang again and I glanced at it, it was an unsaved number. I made sure my location was protected before picking up the call..
“Hello who I’m I speaking with?” I asked
“It’s Drake!” The voice replied
“Drake the singer??” I asked
“Yeah..erm my reason of calling is this, I don’t know what is still holding you in killing Anne, it..”
“How does my job connect to you?” I asked
“Anne broke my heart so I want her dead, I’m just anxious” he said and I nodded
“I think I would allow you kill her with your hand, it would do well in making you salve your anger and pain of the heartbreak” I said and I could feel his smile
“I am arranging on getting her killed tomorrow but I will do more kill her, I’ll kidnap her and make her available for you to kill, girls has no right to break a man’s heart, the result is death” I said and he squeaked in glee,
“I can’t wait to make her pay dearly” he said and I smiled
“Bye” I muttered and cut the call
“Ladies are bitch!!”
💓 Tony’s POV 💓
I sat on my bed with my phone in my palm, i guess I have been forgotten maybe because no one think I would come again but I am here and I am still bent on bringing Richærd down, he is my brother changes nothing, I could have accepted my fate and leave him but after finding out his real daughter which is Anne, I had to start again, he must have forgotten about me and that must have been his reason for making it known to the world that Anne is his really daughter, all I need is just getting his daughter, if only I can get her, I am already superior…
She would be going to the hotel opening tomorrow, that is my chance to get her, I’ve to arrange my boys…
 
Anne’s POV
The school bell rang for the drama practice, today, I would be announced publicly to every student of being choosed to act with Jeremy..
I couldn’t help the smile that escaped my l-ips as I stood up and head to the school hall with Jeremy beside me, every student were smiling and drooling over me like they haven’t seen me before, I was now seen like a princess.. Jeremy held my palm softly as we walked into the school hall which was almost filled to the brim, we majestically made our way to the reserved seat kept for us,
I looked around in happiness and my eyes fell on two people who made my blood freeze..
There sitting in the crowd was Drake and Steve, they were wearing a dark glass but I could still recognize them..
“What are they doing here??” I asked myself and swallowed the lump in my throat..
Later on the drama instructor came up and made some speech before calling I and Jeremy up to the stage…
“This are the people who would represent us out there” he said and there was a loud clap and cheer of happiness..
“They would have to sing so we would see their performance” he said and gestured for us to proceed…
We sang very much good that everyone couldn’t control their emotions, they kept clapping and scre-ming in an exaggerating way,
“They would be sent to begin the drama practice in the mansion next week” he announced and I smiled at Jeremy..
This is just a dream come true….
Today is a very great day for me, I can’t stop dreaming on how it would look like to be in a rom-ntic moment with Jeremy..
Oh gosh!!!
“We are going to that hotel together” I said to Jeremy as we sat on our seat..
“Expect me to your house around 8:00pm..” he replied with a grin..
“No it would begin at 9:00pm so come around 8:53pm” i said and he shook his head
“We would have some moment in your room before going.” He said and I rolled my eyes playfully..
The day went fast or than I thought that in no distance time, it was already night,
My maids took a lot of time primping me and when they were done, I found it hærd believing I was the one looking that good…
I pranced down to the sitting room, my father was sitting with my mother watching a movie..
“I’m going” I said in a soft time to them
“Wow, you look more than great” my mother compliment with a wide smile..
“Thanks I muffled and turned to leave..
“Take a good care of yourself and make sure you go with many body guard” my father said and I nodded..
Just as I walked out, the maids jept bowing, I walked to my car and it was opened by one of the body guard, I hopped in and was drove off,
Just as I drove out of the gate, Jeremy came to view, I ordered for the car to be put to halt..
“Go and tell the guy in that car to come into the car” I ordered one of the body guard and he rushed out…
After some seconds, Jeremy climbed my car,
I quickly gave him a k-ss on his cheek because I couldn’t control myself, he is just too handsome..
“You like like a goddess” he said staring at my wh0le body”you yourself looks like a god to be sincere” I said and fondled his cheek
“Anne I feel like going to an empty world with you alone beside me, no other person is more valuable to me than you” he purred
“Jeremy you are like a part of my heart, I’d die if you leave me” I said softly as we peered into each other’s eyes..
“I wish like I can be with you every single second of my life” he said and wrapped his hand round my body..
“Let us k-ss” I whispered
“Really, it may lead to s€× you know I’m really swooning over you right now” he said with a lopsided smile
“I don’t care, we are one” I said and winked my eyes…
He drew my head forward and pushed his l-ips into mine passionately…
We k-ssed so deeply with our hand moving round our body..
“The car has broke down” the voice of one of my body guard announced making us break the k-ss..
“Ugh??”
“Our tyre has been affected” he said
“Shit, why? How couldn’t be? This car is newly bought” I grumbled
“I’m also surprised” he said as he checked on the tyre..
“It is suspicious” he announced and picked up a group of pin scattered on the ground..
“Do you mean someone set it up?” I asked as I came down of the car with Jeremy…
“See someone kept these pins here” he said and gave me the pin..
“I…” My word couldn’t be completed as a bullet rushed through the air and hitted me deep in my shoulder,
I squealed in pain and Jeremy rushed to me..
“We are attacked!!!” Jeremy scre-med and carried me into the car…
Just then, more bullet came through and brought down every of my body guard…
Jeremy wrapped his body over me with tears in his eyes, the sight of blood gushing out of my shoulder made him frightened…
Just immediately, someone opened the door of the car..we both looked at the direction only to see Drake pointing a pistol to us…
My blood freezed…
On seeing him, Jeremy rushed to him with a blow in anger, they both fell on the ground, Jeremy raised up his hand to punch him but couldn’t as three bullet was shot on his back making him get weak…
I turned my gaze only to find out that it was Steve who shot at Jeremy…
I let out a scre-m but was shut by bullet shot to my leg from Steve…
