Sophia’s POV
“Steve I can’t believe you finally fell for me, i seem very untrue to me” I said to Steve as we both sat on the couch in the sitting room facing each other..
“I had fell for you long time ago but I am very good in covering my feelings” he said with a wink
“But you know I can’t be happy if Anne isn’t free from the hand of that devil Drake” I said and he sighed
“You want me to save her from Drake’s hold” he asked with an arched brow
“Exactly” I squeaked
“I don think it is possible dear, I mean.. why do you want her to come out.. that would make it impossible for you and Jeremy to act that scene” he breathed
“I’m no more interesting in any scene, I don’t want to act any scene with Jeremy” I muffled folding my arm
” Why???” He asked surprised
“There is no need for that, he wants Anne.. I don’t see any reason why I would force him to do what he doesn’t want to do” I grumbled
“what about your father, don’t you think he would…”
“I don’t give a damn.. that old fool can’t control me again!! ” I huffed and he chuckled,
“You can say that behind him but when you are with him, you instantly become dumb!” He said and giggled making me roll my eyes at him
“But can’t you secretly kill that old man for me??” I asked in drawled tone making him burst into laughter
“Is that how much you hate him, wow.. I can’t harm him at all, the men he has as bodyguard are well trained giants” he said and I giggled at him making him confused
“What is it? ” He asked
“I never knew you are this afraid, guess you know that you are like an ant in from of those men” I said amidst laughter
“Are you trying to mock me?” He asked and I laughed the more,
“I thought you are an assassin” I asked with sarcasm
“You are crazy…there is something I want to tell you” he said with his face drawned
“What is it?” I asked anxiously
“My life is at risk now” he sighed and I flinched
“What do you mean?” I asked Immediately
“I’m not meant to fall in love and falling for you would bring more trouble to me and you” he said under his breath
“Explain to me, I’m befuddled” I coaxed and he sighed again
“I was sent to protect you, I was sent to kill anyone who tries stopping you friend being with Jeremy but what is about to happen is totally ridiculous, I’m falling in love with you, how does that sound to you, it is totally strange, think about it” he said with in a slow tone with his glistening eyes piercing into mine..
“What would happen or how it sounds doesn’t matter, what matters is that we are happy together, this is the time to fight for our joy, you aren’t happy with the way your life is, you don’t like the assassin you are, you long to be normal and taste what normal life is, it has been long you felt love, we can make our dream come true, we can fight for our love, I don’t love Jeremy, I want you alone, let strive hærd to get what we want” I said slowly fondling his hand..
“That means I’m gonna turn against your father?” He asked and I nodded
“Sophia, it’s really a miracle meeting you, I never knew I could have a single feeling for women..thanks for coming into my life” he said with a broad smile..
“So are you releasing Anne for me??” I asked
“I would be a fool saying no, I can’t decline your request babe” he cooed and I was forced to smile..
 
💋 Jeremy’s POV💋
“Let’s go home” David announced after coming out of the doctor’s office to clear up the bills..
I quickly jumped down the bed in anxiousness, I’m eager to walk around this state because I can’t remember many things of the past..
“Who are you??” I asked the strange girl who had always been around Dave all through our stay in the hospital..
“I’m Lisa your ex crush” she replied with a smile and I arched my brow then shrugged..
We drove home in silence, I was just busy trying hærd to remember someone, someone I don’t know the name, everything about her is just blurry to me, I don’t want to believe it is the girl I had been hearing from everyone, I need to see this Anne, I seriously need to see how she looks like…
“David how can I see this Anne of a girl?” I asked inquisitively
“You really wants to see her, like you are anxious right?” He said and I nodded
“The same person who made you forget her also deleted all her picture from the cyber, we can’t find her picture in the Internet, your phone where are pictures are is also missing, I don’t think we can get her picture” he said with a deep sigh..
“But where is she now?..where do she lives?” I asked and he exhaled heavily
“She was kidnapped” he said and I felt my heart turn heavy immediately, all of a sudden I felt broken, the truth is that I can’t get to know who she is but on hearing that she was kidnapped, my wh0le body was swept with sadness..
“Who kidnapped her? what did the kidnapper said, did he or she named a price? I’m ready to pay it, please is she safe?” I found myself asking all these questions, all I just need that moment was her safety, the was i was feeling was totally strange to me..
I buried my head in my palm with one question rushing through my head..
Who is this Anne???
“She was kidnapped so that you and her would not been seen together, you are betrothed to Sophia so her father doesn’t want you to love any other lady, you ended up loving this Anne and Sophia’s father got to hear it and he sent someone to take Anne away from you and he succeeded” David explained and a rush of shock swept through me..
I became sweaty immediately,
“Please is there anything we can do to save her?” I asked in a slow tone feeling myself getting totally drained..
“Fate will tell” he muttered and I let out a deep breath
“Anne please be safe for me” I muttered under my breath..
We drove to my mansion and in a rush I dashed into my room.. I find it hærd understanding myself again, I kept trying all I could do remember this girl Anne, what she looks like.. David and Lisa was just staring at me in surprise,
Immediately I entered my room, I started ransacking the wh0le place to know if I can see her picture but I couldn’t see any pictures of a female, I slumped on my bed exhausted…
Just then, my phone rang, I glanced at it and saw the number to be saved as Richærd, I went through my brain for sometime before I could recall Richærd to be the proprietor of royal Gill high school..
I answered the call and was greeted with a hoarse tone which sounded scary..
“Where is my daughter Anne!!!!” The voice shouted..
I instantly became confused..
“Please is this Anne your daughter?” I asked
“You must have gone nut! my daughter was missing that night the both of you went for that hotel opening, where is she? Is she living with you?” He asked and I sighed heavily
“I don’t know what you are saying..not even a single bit of it, I can’t remember if I had seen your daughter talk more of going anywhere with her” I stated clearly
“Expect me in your house now, it is either you provide my daughter or I pay my last dime to make sure you rot in jail!!’ he shouted and cut the call,
I shrugged and scurried to the bathroom, I took a cool bath then returned to the sitting room after dressing up…
I saw David with Lisa enjoying their time together and something flashed through my mind, just like a trance I saw myself with a lady, we were into each other’s arms…
I couldn’t recall the scene again because it swizzed away just the same way it came…
“Jeremy are you alright?” Lisa asked immediately she saw me standing still looking at them..
“I just feel like I had once been in a relationsh¡p with someone who is not Sophia” I muttered and walked to the sofa, just as I made to sit, the door of the sitting swung open and a middle aged man with three police men rushed in…
“Richærd what is it???” David asked immediately
“Tell him to provide my daughter to me now!!” He barked and I plonted on the sofa tiredly,
Why can’t I remember anything????
“He is mentally unstable, your daughter was kidnapped on their journey to that ceremony, he was injected with a substance that made him forget all that happened, he can’t even remember who Anne is..” David explained and I shut my eyes tightly..
“This is strange, you want me to believe you???” He snorted
“It is your business, I’ve told you the truth, if you think I’m lying, go and waste your time asking him of her whereabout” David stated and walked away…
Richærd walked closer to me peering into my eyes..
I stared at him blankly..
“You can’t remember Anne???” He asked in a low tone
“I can’t remember her but I want to know who she is, I want to see her.. my heart long for her, I want to know how she look like, please help me get her, please let do everything we can do to let her out from the hand of those kidnapper..” I pleaded with tears forming in my eyes…
“Ohh gosh….who should have done this???” He mused and turned to the cops..
“Get my brother arrested!!” He ordered and they nodded and left..
“I’m fully convinced that you aren’t mentally balance.. can you remember the face of the guy who….”
“I can’t remember anything!!!??” I interjected and jolt up..
“Did your brother kidnap her?” I asked
“I’ll get to know that later, take care” he said and walked away..
Anne please be safe, I need to see you😢😢😢
 
Anne’s POV
“Hey babe we are leaving tomorrow!” I heard the voice of that devil gruff from behind,
“So finally you are forcing me into you” I sniffle
“Start trying to love me, forget about Jeremy, start seeing me like him, that would be better for you” he coaxed and I hiss..
“I can never love you, you are heartless!” I scre-med and he burst into laughter..
“Get prepared, when we leave here and get to the state, you would start loving me when you no longer see Jeremy..” he said with a smile.
“That’s your biggest dream” I mumbled and he shrugged and walked away locking the house from behind leaving me all alone in the big mansion..
Tears rolled down my cheek as I remembered Jeremy, I can’t see him anymore…😢😢
I stroll up to the window and looked out..
I walked up to my room and grabbed my phone and tried Jeremy’s number again even when I knew it would not go through, as usual, the call bounced back,
I flung it away and lay on the bed, I drifted into sleep…
My sleep was cut short with a a loud sound that was made from the sitting room..
With the speed of light, I rushed out and  what I saw left me shaken…
There in front of me was Steve and Sophia..
