Jeremy’s POV
“George!!..is that really you?” I scre-med scrubbing my eyes to be sure I wasn’t having illusions..
“Shh!” He hushed me and took a seat on the couch..
“How did you find your way in here?” I asked inquisitively..
“Where can I find Anne?” He asked ignoring my question..
“You want to save her?” I asked arching my brow..
“That’s her picture right?” He questioned showing me a picture of Anne..
“Yes..you..”
“I don’t have much time here, tell me where she is..I made a thorough search and found out that the both of you went together to somewhere, the street cameras couldn’t capture you and Anne’s movement that day or it may be that it has been cleared by someone” He said and I nodded
“I don’t remember the address but I can still recall the route if I should try going there” I said after thinking hærd..
“What??..shit!!..that’s where the problem lies, and you can’t leave here till next tomorrow which would be the contest day, can’t you give me a little detail on how you went that day” he said with grim..
“I must be very stupid, the address was sent to my phone but I never thought of writing it out somewhere” I said feeling hopeless..
“Where is your phone now?” He asked..
“It was taken by Jaden’s men..” I replied
“So you can’t recall what you saw there?” He asked in frustration..
“Yeah..after that loss of memory, I find it hærd remembering things that had past” I mused
“I wasted my time coming here, I never knew you would be useless!” He gritted
“I’m sorry” I breathed
“Erm..do you want to act that scene with Anne or Sophia?” He asked peering at me
“Anne of course, why do you ask?” I questioned..
“I’ve gotten an idea on how I’d get Anne out..I would make sure you act with her, it would be my token of appreciation” he said and I squealed in happiness, I had never felt this kind of joy before, I don’t really know of he would be able to do it but i just felt happy with the words, it gave me hope..
“If you do this, I’d pay you with anything you request from me” I said in glee
“Its a lie dude!!..what if I request marrying Anne, you know she is too beautiful” he said with a smirk and I scratched my head..
“That one is impossible oo” I said with a giggle.
“What about Steve, I hope you are saving him too” Sophia ch¡pped in..
“He would help me to bring down those men who would try stopping us, you know i can’t beat Jaden’s men alone..my attack would be unexpected and that would give me an upper hand” he said and stood up..
“You are leaving? Why not stay..” I couldn’t complete my statement when he showed me something displaying in his phone..
It was a timer and has only one minute left..
“The cameras in this building would start working just immediately this timer gets to 0.00, I have to go” he said and scurried away after putting on his cap..
I inhaled and exhaled heavily as George left through the door, I rushed to check if it was still opened but found out it has locked itself automatically.. I wonder how he was able to open this door,
I had met George once and we had created a strong bond of friendsh¡p although we had no time to explore it because he was always busy with work, I had saved him from a deadly attack by taking him to my house one night as he was running helter skelter for his life..
He never told me who was after him or why he was running, he insist it was a secret..
Since then we kept chatting till I lost his contact, I had thought he was dead until today, I knew him as a secret agent who had worked for many country saving lives from the hand of different kind of terrorist..
I hope he is able carry out this particular mission..
“Do you think he can do this?” Sophia asked
“I’m not really sure, let’s just prepare our mind to act the scene if he fails” I breathed
“That’s not all, if he fails then you are marrying me!” she snapped
“If we are meant to marry, there is nothing we can do about it!!” I stated
“Then just know it wouldn’t be a home, our family would be one of the worst one!!” She snorted
“Wait oo, does it means you now hates me??” I questioned peering at her..
“I don’t hate you but I don’t love you, I’m really pissed with the fact that I’d be getting married to a guy I no longer love..” She bawled and I smiled..
“Love is a choice, I don’t know if we have hope of being with our loved ones, we have to learn to love each other” I tried explaining but she couldn’t hear out, with the speed of a lightening she dashed to the room..
I sighed and bury my head into my palms..
I hate the way my life is going…
I don’t even know the state of my parent now..
I can’t wait to come out of this bondage next tomorrow but I still pray it doesn’t come if Anne wouldn’t show up..
At the last scene I acted which was with Sophia, I had told the crowd watching that in my next scene anyone I acts with would be my wife..
I had told them this when I was asked when I would get married..this means that if I should come out there with Sophia..then.. I’m bound to marry her..I guess this is the reason why Jaden wants me to act the scene with Sophia at all cost..
I hobbled to the kitchen and dish out some food which I ate without appetite,
I don’t want to appear slim..
I took the phone which Sophia’s father has left and found it useless because I couldn’t call anyone, it kept bouncing back, I made to type something in my social platform but it couldn’t go through,
I sighed in frustration and lie down on the couch gazing at the space…
I’m doomed!!!

💋Anne’s POV💋
It was morning the next day, I had just finish cleaning up and was lying on the bed with a heavy heart, tomorrow was the day that I had always dreamt of, a day I had always wished to come so I’d act with Jeremy my love but now I just pray it doesn’t come knowing the fact that it would be with Sophia and not me..
Just then, Drake walked into my room..
I sat up quickly glaring at him..
“Anne please give me a chance in your life, look down on all I had done to you, its just that I’m too jealous and can’t bear seeing Jeremy take you away from me, I’m very sorry, I still love you” Drake poured out staring at my eyes as he sat on the chair in front of me..
“Let me leave this place, I’m tired of this building, I want to go home and meet my parent” I said dryly
“I’d do that if you would promise me that you would give me a chance in your life” he said and I gawped at him..
“I rather stay single than get married to you, you are too wicked” I spited
“I’m sorry, forgive me for all I have done, I can still make it up for you” he said and I quickly jolted..
“I can’t believe I’m talking to you!!..leave this place at once!!” I bawled
“Don’t get infuriated, calm down” he said and I glared at him..
“You are happy now right?? You are happy having me here when I have to be with Jeremy ugh?? Why are you this heartless??” I said out with tears filling my eyes..
“I’m not heartless, just that I want you, you are the one making things hærd for us, accept me and everything would be fine” he said and I felt like choking him..
“If you think I’d ever love you then you must be a dreamer, men like you doesn’t worth being loved!!” I squealed
“You have no choice, Jaden has promise to hand you to me as a token of the help I offered him” he said with a smirk..
“You must be a fool to think it would work out!” I bawled
“Let’s watch and see” he said with a wicked grin..
“You are nothing but an oversized d**k head, so stupid to be called a human, a full time ba***d, no lady cab stay with you because your heart is evil..I hate you!!” I hurled at him and he was just giggling like a mad man..
He walked close and touched my b***st, I got infuriated and slapped him hærdly making him growl in pain..
“How dare you!!” He gritted with his eyes red in fury..
“You have no right to touch me!!” I squealed
He charged at me with great force..
“What are you…” I couldn’t finish my statement when he punch me making me fall hærdly on the floor, he grabbed my gown and tore it..
He unbuckled his trouser and made to rape me, I couldn’t imagine what was about to happen..
Drake is about to break my V-rginity…
Ohh no..
I struggled to release myself but couldn’t, he was much stronger than me..
I was now unclad lying helplessly..
He pulled down his trouser and smirked..
“What do you think you are doing???” Jaden thundered as he walked into the room..
Drake quickly detached from me and pulled up his trouser..
Jaden haven’t him a heavy punch which made him sprawled on the floor..
“You have no right to rape her..get out of here!!” He barked and Drake scurried away..
Jaden turned his gaze to where I laid, our eyes met and I felt some connection…

💖George’s POV💖
I slumped on the sofa of the sitting room in my house, I was some how restless..
Knowing who I’m dealing with really makes shudder run down my spine, I had been always good in hacking and I do it for fun, on one of my hacking fun I came across Jaden’s org-nization, it was the most tactful system I had hacked into, I got many secret information about jaden which I wasn’t able to say out because of fear, the world knew him as a business tycoon who was very generous, he was very good in enshrouding his evil acts.. I had always tried hærd not to have anything to do with him but fate has just brought us together again, I’m here to fight him and rescue his most important abducted victim..
I had no parent and as I grew up, I found out that they were killed by someone whose identity could never be exposed..
I always long on the day I would see that murderer, I don’t mind fighting that person with my last drop of blood..
Tears rolled down and I quickly wiped it off like it was hurting my cheek..
I can’t attack Jaden now that they are expecting an attack, it would be bloody..
I’d call for more men from our unit at the right time..
It would on that very day of the contest..
I stood up and head to my laptop, I has to search for a building at the outskirt of the city, I’m sure that’s where they are because Anne and Steve could not be taken to another country or an opened home without drawing the attention of the people who knew Anne well because she had became popular and well known from being Jeremy’s girlfriend and the daughter of Richærd who owned the best school in Nigeria..
I kept searching and found five, they were all a long forgotten building and were surrounded by tall grasses and shrubs..
I checked the history of each building and one of them couldn’t show up, it was being protected.. I copied the route into my phone and head out to that place which I know would be the place Anne is kept captive..
I hopped into my car and zoomed off..it was really far but I was very patient..
I reached the last village which had the des**ted route leading to the building I was going to..
I came down and squinted my eyes on the path, I couldn’t find what I was looking for, car tracks..
I took a deep breath having some doubt if I was really heading to the right path..
I rested on my bonnet trying to make up my mind whether to go or not..
Just then, a lady in her early twenties came running to where I stood..
I braced up my self ready to attack if she was coming to fight me..
As she got closer, she stopped running and starts walking breathing heavily.. With her dressing it was clear that she was one of the villagers..
“Where..are you..heading to??”she asked with fear written all over her face..
“What do you mean? Who are you? What..” I couldn’t finish my statement when she quickly knelt down..
“Why??” I arched my brow..
“Don’t do this to your self, why do you want to commit suicide?” She asked
“Ugh??..”
I was surprised..
“Any where you had been wronged, try to forgive and go on, you don’t need to kill your self for the pains and struggle of the world” she explained with compassion and care written all over her face..
“Who told you I want to kill myself?” I questioned
“You don’t need to tell me..no one goes in there and come out alive, all the villagers dread this route and is meant for those who wants to die.” She explained and my eyes w¡dened
“What is in there?” I asked curiously
“Something or someone evil, we can’t tell..” She said and I nodded
“I need your help” I said
“I’m ready to help you” she replied quickly..
“Have you ever seen any body go in there with a car?” I asked
“I’ve never seen but I think I have heard.. No body keeps watch on this track, I just sighted you coming here and felt saving your life, you are too cute to die this way” she said with a charming smile which made me stare at her face for some seconds, since we were talking, I had not got to notice her beauty but her smile just made me see it..
“You are also as beauty as a goddess..” I found myself saying before I could stop the words..
“Thank you..” She blushed
“You don’t really look like someone from here” I said and she smiled again making my heart skip beat..
“Hmm, can we move away from here, I’m getting frightened” she said looking around..
“Where are we going to?” I asked arching my brow..
“To my house” she said dryly and peered at her,
“To your house??..do you know me? What if I am an assassin, you seem to be comfortable with me” I said and she chuckled
“You can’t be dangerous, you are too cute to hurt even a fly” she said and I was forced to laugh
“You are funny, let’s go” I said and we both entered my car and drove to her house which was just a room apartment
“We are here..this is where I live” she said as she hopped down the car,
“Why do you want me to come to your house..I mean..”
“You asked for my help, I’m going to help with any information you want from me” she said and I arched my brow
“What if you don’t know anything about what I want” I said
“Then you can go, I just want to stay with you for some time, it has been long I saw a guy as cute like you, the people living here are just too ugly” she stated with a lopsided smile..
“Do you want to just stay with me for a while or do you want me to he yiue boyfriend” I found my l-ips saying..
“Well..time will tell” she said and unlocked the door..
We both entered and she sat on the bed while I sat on the chair..
“Are you afraid to sit with a lady on the bed?” She asked and I grimaced
“Don’t you know I can just rape you now??” I said trying to make her frightened but she just burst into laughter..
“Can you even rape a girl??” She squinted
“What do you mean?” I asked
“Enough of those faulty talk, let’s get down to business” she said waving her hand..
“What do you say about that route I need to go in there and save someone” I said and she arched her brow in confusion..
“I don’t understand.. Who told you someone is being held in there??” I asked
“I guess the people of this community is really ignorant about what is in there.. Let me explain something to you, if you go in there, you would see a building which is being used as the main base of a man who is as evil as the devil, he uses that place as his base to carry out many of his acts, no one knows that because no one is concerned about knowing..he makes sure anyone who passes through that route is being killed so he won’t tell what he saw” I tried to explain..
“I’m not born here I just came here to seek solace, I want to be far away from my past, that’s why I came here..I can’t really tell much about that route but with the little I was told, that path is known to be evil, no one has ever went there and came out alive, people who wants to commit suicide goes in there and dies..I once wanted to go in there but later decide not to.. “She said and I sighed
“Why did you wanted to go there?” I asked
“Its a long story..” She said with her eyes shimmering..
“Okay I’m sorry for what ever had happened.. I am on a mission to rescue a lady who was kidnapped, I did many research only to find out that she could possibly be in that building which is at the end of that path..have you ever notice any car go in there?” I asked
“If any car had ever drove in there I would not be able to tell because no one lives near that part of the village, it was a coincidence that made me saw you” she explained
“I would go there to save Anne from the hand of Jaden” I said and her eyes w¡dened, I could see her tremble as she quickly jolted up from the bed…
“Jaden!!!!!!!!!” She called out with fear written all over her face…
