Lara’s POV continues
I screeched the car to halt immediately, my heart was very heavy and I felt like I would burst, I couldn’t imaging George being killed, hot tears rolled down freely as I places my hand on the door lock in attempt to open it, it was just like I was leaving my heart away from my body, I couldn’t just go leaving George, its better we die together..
“I guess you aren’t trying to go back?” Anne asked and I glanced at her..
“I can’t just leave when he is still in there, its better to die with him” I sobbed and opened the door,
“So what about me?..what should i do?i i guess I’d wait here, I pray you all comes back alive” She sighed and I breathed,
“I pray so” I said and head back to the path..

💖George’s POV💖
My heart beat h-rder and louder as I scurried up the stairs, I don’t think I would survive this, i don’t think I’d be able to fight Jaden’s men, I knew I’m risking my life, but some way some how, I can’t just leave Steve, Sophia needs him, I pocked out some tools from my pocket and fixed it into the door lock, after some struggle, I successfully opened gge door, Steve was sitting on the bed with his head buried into his palm,
“Hey Steve” I called and he raised his head and staring at me..
“Who are you?” He asked as he saw I wasn’t one of Jaden’s men..
“I’m here to take you out, there is no time for introductions, let’s leave here now or never!!” I squeaked in anxiety,
He quickly sprung up and wore a shirt from the cloth rack, but just as he made to leave with me, his eyes caught something from the window, he rushed closer and I could see him shudder at what he saw..
“What is that?” I asked as I saw his face drawn..
“Jaden and his men are here and they had already surrounded this building, I’m sure they already know you are here” he said and I went closer to get a clear view,
Omg!!!
I’m stucked…
“What are we gonna do now?” I asked him with fear writing all over my face,
He sighed..
“You can hide while I lock the door the way it was before” he said and I exhaled heavily as I saw the men already trouping in..
I rolled under the bed as Steve locked the door,
In just a few seconds, the door of the room sprang open, i felt my heart skip beat, it was really pounding very fast that I found it hærd to breath well, I am sure death awaits me if Jaden should get me..

💕Steve’s POV💕
“Hey where is him?” Jaden asked immediately he got into the room with five hefty men..
I arched my brow at him showing I don’t know what he is saying..
“I don’t understand!” I said and he raised his brow..
“Don’t dare me! Don’t just try it.. Where is he hiding??” He asked like he was very sure the man was here,
‘You kept the door under lock, how was he going to open it talk more of coming here, I was only hearing the sound of bullets but no one came here” I said with grim..
“Give me that” he gestured at one of his guard..
The guard handed a device to him..
“Whenever an intruder comes into this building, I gets an alarm from this device, it would make a beeping sound, right now it is making that sound showing that there is someone else who isn’t one of my men in this building, that is the person who killed my men, that is the person who tricked me, it is showing that he is still in this building and I’m not relenting till I get him and take life away from him, I don’t mind setting this building on fire..are you trying to tell me that you don’t know where he is??” He asked me again with a scowl
“Stop that question! I don’t know what you are talking about!!” I blurted and he got infuriated, he charged at me and punched my face giving me a cut on my l-ips..
He held my throat tightly peering into my eyes with his fiery eyes..
“I’m going to kill you for hiding him!!!” He growled and I clenched my fist feeling angered, I felt insulted being treated this way in front of my mates in the assasin clan, I felt like punching Jaden but I know better than that, I would be killed instantly..
He pushed me hærdly that I fell on my butt on the floor..
“Go get the past records gotten from the surveillance camera!!” He ordered and one of the guard left,
I just wish it was cleared..
“I think I’m done with you and Anne, I’ll kill you both today!!” He fumed..
After some minute, no one caught a glimpse of Carl which was the guard asked to get the record..
“What is still holding Carl, why hasn’t he brought the record, go check him” he ordered another guard who bowed and rushed out..
“After getting to know where that guy is hiding, I’ll kill all of you together before leaving for the state, you all would destroy my plans if I should let you live!” He snorted..i
I just kept quietly staring at him like a statue, just then, the guard sent to check on Carl dashed in carrying Carl on his shoulder..
“I found him dead along the hallway..” The guard said breathing heavily
“Did you get the record?” Jaden asked feeling unmoved..
“I went to get it but it has been deleted by someone just a few minutes ago” he explained and Jaden huffed and threw a sharp glare at me making me flinch..
“Go and get Anne right now!!” He ordered
One of the guard left but came back just almost immediately..
“Anne can’t be found in that room, she is no where to be found!!” The guard announced and this made Jaden mad..
“You must be joking!!!!” He scre-med and dashed to Anne’s room,

💕Jaden POV💕
I couldn’t believe my eyes as I got to Anne’s room only to find it empty, at first I thought it was a dream, i thought it was a mere illusion, but as I pinched myself continuously, it dawned on me that it was real, Anne has been rescued, I suddenly became restless, my plans were going bad and I can’t bear to lose now that I’m close to winning, I ran back to the room where Steve is..
“Set him on fire!!!” I shouted with anger, I could see his eyes w¡den in shock..
“I have already prepared this room to burn you and Anne up, that is why the walls, door, windows, and ceiling are made by a fire resistance material, I would burn you up before going for the others, set him on fire now!!” I commanded with a smirk..
Five of my men charged at him..
“You can’t be serious” he said and I scoffed..
“Wait till you die..” I said and turned away as I saw one of my men who went to bring the petrol and matches walk in..
I saw one of them splash the petrol on him and I smirked..
“See you in hell!!” I smiled as I called my other men giving them order to search the wh0le building and get the intruder..
I was really waiting to see smoke emit from the room, I was waiting to see the fire but saw none..
I ignored it with a shrug and walked away outside the building, my men were searching thoroughly but saw no body..

💕George POV💕
I had never planned to come out but with what I heard I was pushed to come out, I came out just when Steve was to be lighted, i charged at the one holding the matches, a blow from me made him lose balance and fall making the matches drop away from his hand.
The other guard saw this and charged at me..
“I guess you are the man Jaden is looking for?” One of them asked..
“Really, is he looking for me? Well, I’m here to destroy your a**s” I smirked and this got them Infuriated, they suddenly forgot about Steve and rushed at me..
One of them threw a blow to me which I dodged, another tried to kick my groin but I was quick to catch his leg, one of them made to hit a rod on my hand but I quickly used the leg I was holding as shield, I heard a cracking sound which shows the leg was broken..
I smirked and dropped it..
I and Steve started the fight which was somehow tactful, we were just two and they were five and were trained..
They were some way strong that at first i thought we wouldn’t survive, blood spilled all over the floor, we were able to bring down four of them with our fist remaining one..
The last one brought out a pistol and fired a shot to Steve which went into his arm..he aimed at me and I freezed, he was the only one still standing, others were on the floor gro-ning..
‘Hey men don’t fight with guns, let’s…”
“Shut jour mouth you bas**d!!” He growled and c*cked the gun..
I raised my hands up making him smirk..
“Bye, go greet the devil!” He laughed and fired a shot which I dodged by rolling on the floor, he fired another shot which nearly hit my head..
He fired another shot which would have got into my chest if Steve hasn’t intervene..
He poured the remaining fuel on his body, before he could understand what was happening, Steve set him on fire making the room spark up, I and Steve struggled our way out of the room leaving them to burn to death..
We locked the door and lay on the hallway exhausted, there were bruise and cuts on our body making us feel weak and dizzy..
Just then, someone ran into the hallway, I trembled as I saw the figure, there is no doubt I would be killed, we were still trying to regain strength to leave here and someone is coming to fight,
I guess we are not destined to live..
The person came closer and I saw a gun in the hand, I closed my eyes waiting for death when I heard my name..
“George let’s go!” I heard the voice which sounded like that of Lara..
I opened my eyes and was amazed to see her, this gave me more strength..
“You are the one of killed that guard and deleted the record right?” I asked with smile all over my face
“Yeah, let’s go!” She smiled and helped me to get up, she also helped Steve and we all brace up to leave.
Lara gave us guns and we fight our way out, I and Steve was very weak and drained but the thought of our loved ones gave us strength, it was a little bit easier as the guns had silencer attached to it..
After much struggle we managed to maneuver through the back door, we climbed through the fence and dashed into the bushy path..
With the help of my phone which was in the car, we were able to locate our car, Anne was still there waiting anxiously..
“Thanks for staying” Lara thanked her..
I and Lara sat in the front seat, Lara was driving while I rest my head on her shoulder after our wound was dressed with the piece of our clothes which were torn out..
“What is the time??” I asked with my eyes w¡dened
“Why are you asking?” Steve asked
“Anne has to act that scene with Jeremy, she must!!” I squeaked
“It is 9:43am” Anne replied
“Steve check the possible flight leaving for America” I instructed
“It would be leaving at exact 11:00am” he replied after checking..
“At what time can it get to America, in 12hours time that is 11pm” he replied
“And the drama is starting at exact 1:pm right?” I asked and he nodded..
“Ohh geez, do you mean i would act that scene with Jeremy” Anne asked with her eyes glittering in joy..
“That’s what I promised your fa..ther..” I couldn’t say the father well on remembering that Richærd isn’t her father..
“I can’t thank you less, I can’t even believe this is happening!” She squeaked..
We drove to my house, the cat was parked and we all rushed into the building, Lara took the first aid box and started dressing our wounds well while Anne went to take her bath..

💖Anne’s POV💖
I sat in the bath tub with my heart throbbing in joy that is too much for me to contain, I couldn’t believe it was real, I couldnt just believe that at the last minute when I had lost hope, i was still given the chance to act with my love..
I took a thorough bath and dried my body with the towel hung there, I wore my cloth and dashed out, I would be heading to my father’s house to get well dressed and do some make-up..
“You have to go and meet your father now..he would be really troubled” George said and I bowed in happiness, the joy in me couldn’t let me talk..
“I’m I using your car?” I asked..
“Ohh no..take a cab, Jaden might me after you, a cab would be more safe” he said and I bowed again
“I don’t know how to thank…”
“Start going!!!!!” He squealed with a smile handing some money to me..
I smiled as I took the money, I can’t wait for all this to end so I’ll repay this guy, he gave me the sum of two thousand but I’m gonna repay him with 2million, he is really a saver..
I ran out of the house and quickly got a cab, I told him the address of my father’s house and for some seconds, he stared at me..
“Do you really live there? That house is for very wealthy people” he said as we drove off..
“Well I’m Anne the daughter of Richærd” I said and he screeched the car to halt with shock..
“Anne Jeremy’s girlfriend?” He asked and I nodded with a smile
“Oya be going” I said and he stared at me with his eyes shimmering..
“You are my daughter’s role model, she loves staring at your pictures” he said as we zoomed off..
“Yeah thank her for me..” I smiled
“But..aren’t you acting that scene with Jeremy??” He asked with his face grimaced
“Why do you ask?”
“My daughter insisted that she must go to America to see you act, she had been sober all day because we can’t afford to send her there, I don’t have the money neither do my wife have but she would not understand” he said and I chuckled..
“I’d like to see your daughter in America, well just give me your number” I said and he cringe..
“My number?? Okay..” He stuttered and halt the cab, he quickly wrote it down on a piece of paper and handed it to me..
“I’ll call you when I’m ready to leave for America, you and your family can come with me, just get yourselves at the airport at exact 10:30, I’ll book a flight for the three of you” I said and I could see him gasp in joy, he was so happy that he refuse collecting his money for driving me..
I baded him and walked into the estate, the security men made way for me as I walk, they were really surprised seeing me…
I reached the porch of my fathers house and knocked, the door was opened and standing at the door post was my father, he stared at me for some time trying to understand if it was reality..
“Dad its me Anne your daughter” i said he leaped in glee, his eyes became w-t as he hugged me closely to his chest,
“Omg! Anne so this is you? Geez I can’t believe it..” He squealed hugging me tightly
“I’ll suffocate oo” I whined with a smile
“You can’t believe how I feel, you can’t understand how I feel, ohh God, I’ll burst oo” he scre-med holding my hand softly
“All thanks to that man who saved me” I said
“Yeah I know, his name is George..I sent him to save you, I’m so happy he succeeded..” My father squealed with a wide smile..
We both walked into the room with our hands locked together..
“I’m so sorry…”
“Shhhh, don’t say anything, where is mom?” I asked looking around..
“She..she went on a trip” he replied and I arched my brow
“Really, she..doesn’t even care..how..”
“Hey let’s just forget about her for now, sit right there while I order for your food” he said and I nodded with a smile..
After some minute, I was served, I ate almost all the food, I took another bath and a makeup artist was called, she and her crew did wonders on me, I swear, i couldn’t believe it was me when I looked at the mirror, I never knew i was this beautiful, I was dressed in a grand way that made me look like a queen..
“I thank God he didn’t hurt you” my father said as I walked into the sitting room where he was I shrugged and smiled
“Are you sure you are a human? Because you don’t look like one, you are too beautifull, I now really understand why Jeremy can’t do without you” my father said and I smiled with a blush..
“Dad..we would be leaving for the airport, its 10:49” I said and stood up..
“I guess you don’t have your phone, I bought another for you, it has been registered so let’s go” he said and I hugged him
“Thanks”
We both hurried to the airport, I did not forget to call the cab man, I was amazed to hear he was already at the airport with his family..
“Is someone else going with us?” My father asked
“Yeah, are we going on our private jet?” I asked as I remembered he had a jet,
“Yeah, I don’t want you to be late..” He smiled. .
“I can’t even wait to see my Jeremy, it has been a very long time we see each other” I mused smiling sheepishly..
We reached in no distance time and I quickly hopped down with twelve body guard following me..
I located the cabman and his family, his daughter which was at the age of 15 ran into a hug with me, the guard made to stop her but I restrained them from that allowing her hug me the way she like..
“Thank you for fulfilling my wish, I love uuuu” she squealed and I smiled widely, she really looked stunning and well curved, her cloth was much more than what I expected from a daughter of a cab man, I guess they would really find the best for their daughter..
“What is your name?” I asked
“My name is Ann” she replied..
“Ohh a similar one to mine..Such a beautiful name are for beautiful girls with beautiful heart, I hope you are one?” I asked with a funny look..
“Why won’t i be, i am just like you..thanks once more, Where is your boyfriend?” She asked with a lopsided smile looking around, which made me chuckle..
“My boyfriend.. Do I have a boyfriend?” I asked with a grimace
“Yea, Jeremy, I want to see him, I had always see you both in the internet and I had always longed on when I would see you both..” She squeaked..
“Jeremy is already in America, so let’s go” I gestured and she held my hand as we walked to the jet..
We all entered and in few minutes, it began the journey, journey to my dream, journey that would change my life, journey that would make me what I long to be..
After about 12 hours, we finally reached.. I came down with Anne holding my palm, crowd filled around me taking shots, I was startled as I never knew I had being this popular that even the white takes my picture, my guards did well to make way for me..
I entered the car prepared for me and drove off with Ann who insisted on following me..
I couldn’t help the gasp that escaped my l-ips as I saw the hall where the drama scene would be acted, this was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, the building was so gigantic and great that I was slightly nervous going in,
Immediately I walked down, many people from the press surrounded me asking different question about I and Jeremy..
“Good to meet you, who is Jeremy to you?”
“Are you going to act with Jeremy?”
“Is he still dating Sophia?”
“Are you his girlfriend?”
Different questions from different angles, mics where even covering my face,
“I’ll tell you all you want to hear, but it isn’t now, I have to go in” I said calmly with a smile,
I walked into the building and was directed to where I’d register..
My father had went to notify Jeremy of my presence..
