EPISODE Thirty-eight

Once I was done with that, I clean my body then cloth my body in a New and fresh undies before searching for what to wear which I later settled into a long office p-nt and a inner alongside the suit jacket which reached my upper but.

Pulling my hair in a high bun, I make it a ponytail then put it in a bun before doing my edges then I carried my bag and left for work.

Twenty-Five minutes later

One getting to the company main gate, I had to wait at the entrance because of some black car where driving into the compound. Looking at them alone,I could just approximately say they are like thirty black car that entered the compound while I await them to drive in aside of the white car with a tinted black window which was between the first five and the rest cars which entered.

I wouldn’t have waited for them to on norms but with the numbers of cars that entered,I don’t know if there are of the president whom we have scheduled meeting with since a week who said he would either send someone or come by himself.

And it might not be any time soon and it might be soon by his words not mine, and seeing the way cars are entering, they might be from him.

Once they are done entering, I drove in but not to where visitors or the workers of the workers do park theirs but where my dad, or mom do park theirs. Also if my friend should come around because she isn’t working here,

That reminds me, her dad don’t even bother coming to the company again since it been six months that both family already planned and have given us both the title of the CEO and key to control the company but my dad only did so physical because he is still there controlling it.

If I should start complaining and comparing, he would tell me am still their little girl of that day. That same statement annoys me so much that I do close my ears when he talk about it.

But unfortunately,the day he was doing his husband hunting for me he doesn’t remember his usual statement that am still their little girl of that day instead, he signed the doc-ments even though I was not on seat then.

The only thing that still make me sit back this way is because of what happened some hours ago between I and xander if not, I would have stop the wedding if I get to know he isn’t that caring and he is a persistent type but he isn’t.

Getting off my car, my phone was the first sounds I was welcomed with as I close the door of the car. Bringing it out of my bag, it’s no other person than that big headed girl.

“Just stepped down from the car.” I stated as I walked into the company not bothering to reply those workers who pave way and bow in respect.

We kept on chatting as I make use of the elevator. Through our the ride to the last floor,we were still chatting. Stepping out of it, I turned the Conner to my dad’s room and on my way there, I bumped into someone.

“Am sorry, am very sorry. I didn’t mean to hit you.” I rushed the words out as the person pick me up from the fall which I had fallen on.

Looking at the person face, I found out it a bodyguards with the way he is dressed and his firm rough hands also said more about his job. Getting me on my feet, I started dusting out the dirt on my body and also redress my self . Removing and wearing back my heels, I pick my things from which he has helped me out in picking them while I was cleaning up myself.

“Thank you.” With this little and silent thank you, I collected my things from him them made my way towards my dad’s office back while I heard his footsteps also behind me.

Looking behind me a little and real quick so that I wouldn’t make it obvious that I was looking at him and wondering what direction he is going to. The more I take the steps, the more he takes tham also then I realized that we must be going to the same direction.

One I took that sharp Conner which led to my dad’s office walking slowly this time around not bothering to look behind me because I already know who has that footsteps noise.

Nearing his office, I got to know that more bodyguards where outside already aside the once that dad put there.i I can also see some just joining them which means they just arrived with the Way they are just joining the quee.

That also means the one coming behind me would also join them once he reaches where they are. In my mind, I kept wondering who could be in there. I wish I can enter at the same time, I don’t want to enter even though dad called and I also saw the letter he wrote down for me to follow.

Knowing what kind of a stubborn daughter he gave birth to, he has to call me three times to remind me of coming to his office straight once I arrive in the office. But here I am seeing so many bodyguards outside which means there’s a visitor in,side his office..

If it was to be the president or governor visiting, they prefer to use the conference hall but here is it, it mean he or she is not the president neither is he or she a governor.

Who could it be? I thought nearing his office the more as all the guard’s bow in respect while I pass through them till I reached the main door.

Touching it handle, my mind started having the fight of me opening the door and entering or I should just turn away and walk back to my office to start the day work.

What if dad should call and ask for the reason why I didn’t show up earlier in his office as thought of him, what should u say? Even lying at this point might make him ask for where I have been since yesterday night till this morning.

I should better open the door and face him now rather than getting him more suspicious, I thought placing my hand back on the handle ready to open it…
