MY MASTER
EPISODE 14
 
Kayden
 
It’s been almost a freaking week and I have been locked up at Terissa’s house, undergoing ritual after ritual with Emily.
 
I tried to focus on what was going on but my mind kept going back to Talia. The fact that she saw me as a monster was more than I could handle. If only she had allowed me to explain.
 
“Kayden” Terrisa’s voice cut through my thoughts.
 
I was sitting at her dining table with her. Emily was sleeping, preparing herself for the final day. The day I was supposed to drain her dry.
 
“You’ve been distracted lately. And you’ve hærdly touched your food” she said.
 
I sighed, knowing she was just giving me the chance to tell but she already knew.
 
“I miss her. And I wish she would’ve given me a chance to explain”
 
I didn’t need to tell her who and what I was talking about. I was pretty sure she knew.
 
“It’s only right to miss her.” She said and I frowned at her words.
 
I looked at her and caught that glint in her eyes that meant she had let her words slip.
 
“What do you mean?”
 
“I mean that she misses you too and she hasn’t been eating since the day she found out from Cole that you drink animal blood” I tensed at her words.
 
“Why the hell didn’t you tell me Terissa?”
 
“Because I didn’t want to worry you. I needed you to concentrate. But you failed to anyway. Tomorrow I need your mind in one piece. So please, go and see her, make peace and come back before sunrise”
 
I didn’t need to be told anything more. I shot out of the chair and walked out of the house. I left the car and decided to run. Running was faster and more discreet than a car.
 
As I ran all I could think about was her. If anything ever happened to her I don’t know what I would do.
 
I barged into the house using the kitchen door and Leah scre-med.
 
“I’m sorry Leah, I did not mean to startle you”
 
“It’s okay child” she began then went on to say “she is in your room”
 
I nodded gratefully at her and vampire sped towards my room. I paused for a minute behind it, listening to her heartbeat.
 
I finally got in and the sight I saw made me feel worse. She was seated on the floor in one corner, my pillow clutched tightly to her chest as she continually told it she was sorry. She begged it to punish her because she had been a horrible person. At one point she actually asked it to kill her. I almost chuckled at how stupid that sounded and how delusional she was sounding. Was she imagining me as that pillow?
 
“Lia” I rasped.
 
All her movements froze. She looked up at me. Her eyes had bags under them, and she looked like she hadn’t slept in days.
 
“Kayden-” she began but stopped as sobs wrecked through her body.
 
I walked over to her and picked her up bridal style.
 
“It’s okay if you want to drop me” and I looked down at her.
 
“Now why would I want to do that?” I asked trying to hide a small smile.
 
“Because I deserve it. And any other punishment you want to serve me” she said sadly.
 
I put her down on my bed and k-ssed her forehead.
 
“I missed you, princess.” I said against her forehead.
 
“I know you’re sorry Princess. That is forgiven. What I will not forgive is the fact that you’ve not been eating” I said my voice suddenly stern.
 
“I’m sorry. I couldn’t eat. I was just so worried that….”
 
“Stop worrying, okay.”
 
She nodded lightly.
 
“Now will you eat something for me, please. You’re really childish and cute, you know that.” I begged and she nodded.
 
I bent down and k-ssed her. I was trying to be gentle but I couldn’t. The lust was taking over. I ended up on top of her, k-ssing her in a feverish rhythm. My mouth left hers and travelled to her neck, k-ssing and s-cking. I felt her body tense underneath me.
 
“Relax Lia, I won’t hurt you.”

I pulled away after a few minutes, and I smirked as I looked at my masterpiece, the bright red hickey that was forming on her neck.
 
“What are you happy about?” She asked.
 
“The fact that I just marked you” I said with a satisfied shrug.
 
Lia didn’t seem to understand but I had no time to explain. I needed her to eat first.
 
“Let’s go to the kitchen for some food” I said holding out my hand to her.
 
She took my hand and we headed downstairs. When we reached the kitchen, Leah quickly served us some food.
 
“Dig in, princess” I said k-ssing her cheek and she smiled at me before turning to her food.
 
I watched her as she gobbled down the food in a rather unlady like manner. But I didn’t mind at all. In fact, I was amused. Lia was my breath of fresh air. An escape from all the titles and rules that came with my life.
 
“A penny for your thoughts, my Lord” she said. 2
 
I smiled at her.
 
“I was just thinking how absolutely beautiful you look while eating” I said teasing her.
 
She snorted at this and rolled her eyes playfully.
 
“You sound just like Cole” she mumbled taking her place to the sink.
 
“Did you guys get along?” I asked suddenly curious. I knew Cole’s teasing could be excessive at times and I did not know how Talia was handling that.
 
“Well he is really nice. But I sort of pissed him off the first day. He said something about killing me if anything happened to Emily.”
 
I winced at her words, cursing Cole for running his mouth.
 
“What’s going on Kayden?”
 
I remained silent for a while. Deliberating on whether I should tell her or not.
 
“Are you going to stay tonight or you’re going back?” She asked, clearly trying to change the topic.
 
“I’m going back. But I still have a few hours before I go.” She nodded her head at my words.
 
“I thought you had left because you didn’t want to be near me I didn’t know you really had business to take care of.” she said in a whisper.
 
“Come here, Lia” I rasped and she walked towards me timidly.
 
I pulled her into my arms and k-ssed her cheek. Then her l-ips. That dark lust began stirring up in me again so I pulled away but she pulled me back deepening the k-ss.
 
“Lia….” I rasped as a warning.
 
“Please Kayden, make me feel something, anything, just so I know you’re not mad at me.” She whispered desperately. I gro-ned, knowing that I couldn’t say no.
 
I picked her up and carried out of the kitchen and up the stairs to my room.
 
I settled down at the edge of the bed and placing her on my lap as I began k-ssing her.
“I’m sorry Kayden, I’m so sorry. I was unfair and I said really horrible things” she said.

“You will sleep here tonight” I said and she nodded silently.
 
“Can I go get some clothes from my room?”
 
“Not necessary. I will give you mine.” I replied her walking into my closet. I grabbed one of my biggest t-shirts and a pair of boxers and handed it to her. I walked into my closet to get dressed.
 
When I came out and found Lia already dressed and in the blankets. I went and laid with her. I was due to leave soon but I had to tell her something before I left.
 
“I promise, we will talk some more when I come back.” I whispered in here ear as I pulled her to my chest.
 
“Okay” she sighed as she laid her head on my chest.
 
I went silent, trying to figure out how best to say the words.
 
“Be mine Lia, not just my pet.” I finally said. I had no idea what I was saying but it sounded so right.
 
I was answered by silence.
 
“I am already yours Kayden” she mumbled after a few minutes.
 
I frowned, not knowing if she understood what I meant.
