☘️ Chapter 41 ☘️

( Seven Months Later )

“Call me, Lucas! Call me my husband!” She cried in pains.

“But, my lady. You… ”

” Call me my husband!” She yelled at the nurse who did that Immediately.

Not quite long, Lucas walked in straight to her side.

” Hold me tight, don’t let me go.” She said in pains and tears.

” I will never leave you my love. I’m here for you, okay? ” He assured her.

She nodded continuously while the nurse asked her for a push.

She scre-med, her grip tight on Luca’s hand. She kept gasping for air.

The nurse ordered for another push which she did. Again and again, this she went on until sometime like a head was seen.

“I see it. I see it. One more push my lady.”

“Ahhhhh!!!”

There came the cry of a baby filling the air.

“What do we have?” One of the nurse asked.

“It’s a boy!”

Lora stared at Lucas who offered her an assuring that everything was gonna be okay.

Soon, Lora felt pains in her stomach like something was kicking her.

“There’s another!” A nurse informed. “There’s one more.”

Lora looked at Lucas weakly, she wasn’t sure if she could endure it this time. She needed to rest, but the being in her wants to leave.

Lucas rubbed her palms softly, tears dropping out of her eyes. She can’t do this, she needed some rest.

“Okay. You need to push hærd, my lady. Push!”

She held her teeths firmly together. Her body stiffened in each push. It was time for the last push, she gathered her strength, her eyes turned yellow.

The other her was ready, it has to help her.

She gave the hærd push…

She breathed heavily.

“What do we have?” A nurse asked.

“It’s a girl!” Replied the other.

“I wanna touch my babies.” She said dully and they brought the two infants to her side.

They laid them beside her. She couldn’t stop from staring at this creatures, they were beautiful, they were gorgeous.

“Do you want to feel them?” She asked.

He shook his head. ” No, I might hurt them. ”

” You won’t hurt, because they’re your children. Don’t be scared, come on. ”

He took his male child into his arms, holding him tight from falling. He loved babies, but he has never taken one into his arms so he fears he might hurt his child.

“Isn’t he beautiful?”

He nodded. For the first time, a tear fell from his eyes. He has never thought of being a father. Now he is, what kind of father will he become?

“He’s beautiful. They both are so beautiful. My bloods, my futures. ”

( Eight years later )

She kept running through the palace corridors, jumping from one step to another barefotted with her hands holding her gown high.

She could hear her mother calling her name but she ignored the calls.

“Ana! ”

Finally, she got to her father’s room, dashing in with speed.

Lora on the other side who has been looking all over for her, on hearing her voice stood at the door.

They were both playing a chase game. On sighting her mother, she asked her to join but Lora only gave her a hærd gaze.

“How many times will I have to tell you not to leave your room until I say so?!” She asked angrily.

Anastasia, bent her face to the ground. ” I’m sorry, mother. I only wanted to see daddy.

“This isn’t the time for sorry, Anastasia Deluca. I want to see you upstairs with your brother in the next two seconds.”

” Yes, mother.” She replied, stepping out of the chair she was seating.

Lora looked at her legs to find her putting on no shoes.

“And you aren’t on your shoes again?!” She sparked.

” Mom…” she got interrupted by her father.

” Why are you yelling at her, can’t you see we are a little busy.” Lucas voice sounded.

” Busy?” She asked more angrily. ” You call this busy, huh? Don’t try to teach me on how to train my child.”

“Anna, you can see your mother is yelling at me too like a kid. Don’t worry, we’ll continue the game next time.”

Anastasia nodded gently.

” Now, upstairs! ” She commanded. Then she turned to Lucas who smirked at her.

She scoffed, leaving to the children’s room leaving him laughing.
