Episode 11

”Bianca like seriously wat u did outside there was too harse and bad! why would u do that to ur own mother? at the first place why would u even deny ur own family? I know they are ur family so stop lying to us! u are not senetor’s Ben daughter as u claim, stop faking ur identity! the very day ur uncle met u that was when I knew u were faking ur identity! like seriously bianca, u are such a bad child for denying and slapping ur own mother! the woman who suffered and brought u into this world, did u know wat she went through in bringing u into this world? u are a disgrace bianca! now see the curse u have put upon urself? anyway that serve u right”, rose said looking at bianca disgustfully ”rose I will not have u insult me in my house! this is my house so mind the way u talk to me else I will send u out of this house”, bianca threatened ”u don’t need to stress urself telling me that because am leaving ur house right away, I don’t want to associate myself any longer with a cursed child like u! bad daughter”, rose said, hissed and went upstairs to pack her belongings ”u are a stupid girl for calling me a cursed child! I don’t believe on curse so stop stressing urself, pls pack ur things and leave my house o”, bianca shouted ontop of her voice ”but bianca why did u lie to us? why did u make us believe u are senetor’s Ben’s daughter why u were not? why living a fake life? Sharon said ”madam is ok! if u also want to leave u can leave, am not begging anybody to stay with me”, bianca angrily said with a squeezed face.

Two days later, Mrs nana was seen lying on the floor shivering seriously, when Ben walked up to her ”mama wat is it? Ben asked ”my son am dying! this sickness is really killing me! my wh0le body is itching me, I can’t even feel my legs, my breath is seizing! am dying here”, Mrs nana complained ”mama why don’t u want me to take u to the hospital? why doing this to urself? pls mama let me take u to the hospital! I can’t bear it if anything happens to u”, Ben cried and ran to bring a wrapper to cover his mother, ”mama pls let me take u to the hospital! ur condition is not good at all! pls mama”, Ben said while covering her with the wrapper he brought ”no need my son! it too late now”, Mrs nana said still shivering ”my son pls give me ur right hand”, Mrs nana said as Ben did as was instructed ”my son! u are such a good and obedient child! from today onwards ur name will no longer be Ben but goodluck”, Mrs nana said and smiled faintly ”but mama why did u change my name from Ben to goodluck? Ben asked confusedly ”that is because i want that name to be following u goodluck”, Mrs nana said ”errrrm ok mama! but pls u needs to go to the hospital”, Ben said ”my son pls forget about hospital, just listen to wat am about to say”, Mrs nana said ”errrrm! ok mama”, Ben replied ”my son goodluck, u are a destiny and great child! u shall be great in life! wherever u lay ur hands shall prosper for u! u shall live to eat the fruit of ur labor! u shall live to see ur three generations, ur children, grand children and great grand children, wherever ur mates go and couldn’t make it u shall go there and make it, u shall never beg to eat but rather people will beg from u! u shall excel in life, ur children, grand children and great grand children shall make u proud, may all this my blessings fall upon ur head, and so shall it be amen”, Mrs nana said and let go off Ben’s hand ”mama but why all this blessings? Ben asked confusedly ”u will understand soon my son! pls go get me water to drink”, Mrs nana said and started coughing seriously ”ok mama”, Ben replied and ran to get the water, he later came with the water and was surprised to see her mother’s eyes wide opened ”mama here is the water”, Ben said but got no response ”mama! mama pls get up and drink the water u asked me to bring for u”, Ben repeated but still got no response, fear gripped over him that instant as he started shaking and calling his mother, he shaked and shaked but his mother just remain still without moving nor blinking, her eyes was still wide opened, so Ben scre-med and ran outside to call for help, he later came back with a man, the man bent low and used his ear to hear Mrs nana’s heartbeat but later stood up and started shaking his head ”wat happened to her? the man asked still shaking his head ”she asked me to go get her water, I came with the water and met her this way”, Ben cried ”hmmmm!! am sorry she is dead”, the man announced, Ben on hearing that scre-med and fall on his mother’s body shaking and calling her name” mama pls don’t do this to me! u promise to stay for me! mamaaaaaaa! mama pls don’t leave me”, Ben cried and puts his head on his mother’s belle, while the man was seen consoling him ”this is all bianca’s fault! bianca I swear I will never ever forgive u for killing my mother I swear”, Ben cried.

Mrs nana was later buried by the uncle who rushed to the village immediately he heard about her death, it was a big shock for Ben that his beloved mother was nomore, a day can never pass without him going to his mother’s grave to weep.

Two weeks after the death of Mrs nana, Ben’s uncle called Ben to sit with him outside ”yes uncle u called me”, Ben said looking sad ”ben I know how u feel for loosing ur precious mother, but u just have to move on with life! starving urself all the time is not the best option, just look at how ski-ny and lean u are! pls my son! u just have to accept fate and move on with life”, the uncle said ”uncle! but why would my sweet and caring mother leave me? I so much love my mother! I still can’t believe that she is gone? she should atleast wait and eat the fruit of her labor! uncle I don’t think it will be easy for me to accept that my mother is no more”, Ben cried as the uncle consoled him ”ben u just have to be strong! u are such a good child to ur mother unlike that useless sister’s of urs”, the uncle said ”uncle pls I don’t have a sister! am the only child of my mother! uncle pls do not ever call that thing my sister again pls”, Ben said with tears dropping down his eyes ”ok have heard u! so my son I will be going back to the city in two days time and u will be coming with me! because I know u can’t stay here all alone or do u prefer to stay with my son ibe here in the village? the uncle asked ”uncle I prefer to stay here so I can be going to my mother’s grave everyday to talk with her! uncle pls don’t bother about me I will be fine here”, Ben said ”no Ben don’t say that! ur mother is dead and there is nothing u can do about it, just accept the fate and stop hurting urself! u are coming with me to the city and pls don’t argue with me”, the uncle said, after much persuasion, Ben finally agreed to follow him to the city on condition that he will be coming every three months to see his mother’s grave which the uncle agreed.

TWO YEARS LATER

Ben was seen returning back from a friend’s place when he saw a man heavily drunk and struggling to enter his car, Ben walked up to him ”sir u are drunk and is not right for u to drive”, Ben said and assisted him in,side the car ”pls help me! take me home”, the man cried ”home?? but I don’t know where u stay and besides I can’t drive”, Ben said looking at the man pitifully ”here take my phone, go to contact and bring out Joe’s number, he is one of my bodyguard! call him and tell him his master is on the road side drunk, tell him to come pick me up”, the man said ”errrrm! but but! ok no prob”, Ben said confusedly, and did as was instructed,.. ”sir he said he is coming right away”, Ben said ”thank u very much! u are such a nice guy”, the man said,.. after about thirty minutes joe came ”sir am here”, joe said ”ok! Joe pls give this young man here my complimentary card”, the man said, as joe did as was instructed ”young man! that’s my complimentary card pls do call me! I have something special for u, for being nice to me! not every young guy will see me in this condition and decides to help, thank u very much! don’t forget to call me”, the man said to Ben who nodded ”i will call u sir! pls let me be on my way now”, Ben said ”ok! Joe give him fifty thousand naira”, the man said ”ok boss”, joe replied and brought out a bundle of money from the car and gave it to Ben who rejected it, but after much persuasion, he later collected it and thanked the man before leaving.

Meanwhile, bianca on the other hand, things started falling apart for her, first, she loosed her job just because she came late to work that very day, mark her boyfriend whom she love so dearly, sneaked and took her ATM and flew away with it, before bianca could go after him, it was too late,.. she cried her eyes out the day she went to the bank to withdraw some cash but the cashier told her she doesn’t have a dime in her account,.. she cried and went back home,.. after some days, she started calling all her sugar zaddies for help but they warned her to stopped calling them that they are married and wants to be with their family, even her friend Sharon later left the house and blocked bianca’s number, life seems like it coming to an end for bianca! she tried so many times to commit suicide but later changed her mind ”Oh God why is my life like this? why Is my life messed up? oh God who have I offended that is doing all this to me? God pls come to my rescue”, bianca cried, just then a message entered her phone, she opened it and it was from the land lord, it read ”i am coming next week for my house rent” bianca on seeing the message fell down and started crying.
