Yummy Yummy restaurant**
Elena served with a smile on her face as usual, thanks to Shane who talked to her, she’d have been frowning right now
She looked at Shane from the table she’s serving at and their eyes met
“Do well” Shane mouthed
“Thanks” she mouthed back and they both smiled again
Though they met less than three weeks ago but he has become an important part of her life, always giving her a reason to smile, he makes her feel like trusting him, he’s making her wanna tell him her secrets
But she’s still scared a little bit, “let’s just wait for some more time” she thought and smiled again
By exactly 7:30, she’s done in the restaurant and he drove her home as usual
“So don’t you dare cry in school like you did today again” he said during the drive
” I have a good reason” she replied slowly
“And that reason is?” Shane asked, stopping the car to face her
” I’m not ready to tell you now, maybe later” she replied
Shane decided not to probe her again since it’s her decision
He stared at her for so long and she returned it
“I want to know the big secret that’s making you cry so I can help, I feel like helping” he thought
” I feel like telling you all my pains but not now, maybe when I gather enough courage” she thought too
His hand went to her hair and he touched it fondly
“Just take care, and don’t cry so much again like the other time” he said, still touching her hair
” Thanks Shane” she smiled and felt the urge to touch his hair too
She raised her hand to his hair and stroked it gently
“Good boy” she said slowly
“Says Who?, I’m a bad boy” Shane smiled
“But to me, you’re a good boy” she winked
” I’m a bad boy” Shane insisted
She took her hand away from his hair and touched his cheeks
“I was just kidding, who says you’re a good boy?, You’re a complete baddie” she laughed and he joined in the laughter while she kept touching his cheek, it feels soft and tender so much that she wants to keep touching it
Shane feels good too with her hand on his cheek, he closed his eyes just to have more feel
Elena scanned his wh0le face immediately he closed his eyes, concluding that he’s really the most handsome guy she has ever seen
She started doing it slowly, rubbing only her thumb on his cheek gently
His lashes are not too long but they’re cute, his nose is cute too, then his brows… Its full, and his l-ips
Immediately her thoughts got there, she quickly looked away
Shane suddenly opened his eyes and took her hand
“Thanks for the cheek m-ssage” he said and without warning, he k-ssed the back of her palm before letting go of her hand
“Thanks” he said
“It’s ok” she replied, smiling a bit
He moved the car and thought of branching at Cheryl’s place since it’s not so far from the main road
He entered the avenue and stopped the car in front of her house.
“I’m sorry, I just want to say hi to Cheryl, come in with me” Shane said
” No” Elena replied
” Don’t be scared, she’s friendly and cool, let’s go in” he replied
” No, I’ll stay here” she insisted
” If you insist” he replied and went in
“Cheryl it’s Shane!” He said from the living room when he can’t find anyone there
“Cheryl!” He said again
“Coming!” She replied from her room upstairs..
Shane kept standing till she came downstairs but her face is too bad right now
“Cheryl what’s the meaning of all these on your face?” He demanded shockingly
” I fell and…
“Don’t give me that crap Cheryl!, That’s not a good lie cos I know someone did this, now who’s it!, Louis?” he said
” No, Shane you won’t understand” she replied
” Then make me understand!, How can someone make your face…
“It’s really not him” Cheryl interrupted
“Then where was he hiding when it happened?, He shouldn’t have allowed this to happen to your pretty face at least! ” Shane said in anger
” Shane calm down, it’ll be ok by tommorow, trust me” Cheryl said
” But what about the pains you passed through?, No it’s not done” he replied and Immediately, Louis came back from Daisy’s place
Shane met him by the door immediately and stood in front of him
Louis gave him questioning looks and he gave it back too
“Remember I told you it won’t go well if you fail to treat her well?, And right now you’re not treating her well so what should I do? ” Shane asked seriously
Louis made to walk away but Shane stood in front of him, the fact that they’re the same height covered everything as he landed a punch on Louis face angrily
Louis fell on the floor with wounded l-ips
Shane bent beside him. “Yes, I came to your house to punch you but that’s because you’re failing in your responsibility to protect her, she’s like a big sis to me so you can arrest me if you want…. The next time I come here and find anything like bruise on her, it’ll be more than a punch” he said with a frown and went to Cheryl
“take care of yourself sis” he smiled and left the house, walking past Louis who’s just standing up
Cheryl gave Louis one glance before going back upstairs
Louis touched his bleeding l-ips and sighed when he saw the blood
“F*vk” he said inwardly

Shane got back to the car and started the drive immediately
“I’m sorry for keeping you waiting” he said as he drove out of the place
” Did someone make you angry in there? ” She asked, looking at him, he still looks angry
” Oh, my face must still be radiating anger, well it’s nothing big so don’t worry” he replied and smiled
” Now that’s more like it” she smiled back and he eventually laughed
He pulled up in front of her house and she made to go out again but he held her
“How forgetful, my hug” he said
“Hug?”
“Friends hug right?, And we’re friends so come on hug me” he said, still holding her hand
” Scratch that” she said and curved her l-ips again before trying to get down but he held her hand tight
“No chance” he said and drew her to himself, he felt that usual warmness again as he hugged her
She stayed still without hugging him back for almost three minutes of the hug
He let her go and she got down from the car
“Goodnight” she waved
“Sweet dreams princess” he winked and she smiled before going in
He drove off after that.
“Welcome daughter” Bella said Immediately she came in
“Morning mum” she smiled and hugged her
“I was planning to come out and say hi to your friend but he’s gone” Bella said
” Oh.. ”
” You need to eat” Bella said
” I’ll go and change” she replied and saw the knitted sweater on the ground
” It’s cute!” She said and picked it up
“I knitted it today, it’s actually two, couple sweaters” Bella replied
” Friends can wear it too right?, It’s not only for couples” she said
“Of course” she replied
” Then I’ll take it, I’d love to give one to Shane” she replied
” You’re free” Bella replied
She blew her k-sses before going into her room
“Where’s my courage to tell her the truth?” Bella sighed
Elena got to her room and took Loki first, she k-ssed it and Pat his head
“I love you” she smiled and continued patting it’s head
Shane appeared in her thoughts and she found herself smiling w¡der
“I wish you a good night, my good friend” she said, hugging the teddy..

Shane behaved like he used a smiling pill since he came back home
He just kept smiling and all he has in his head is her and for the fact that she behaves exactly like Sam, that’s a feat
He cooked for himself and ate satisfactorily
“I hope you’ll eat to your satisfaction too, I’m wishing you happiness and more smiles on your face” he thought.

Next morning**
Louis woke up and took his bath before dressing up for work
He came downstairs and met food on the dinning table, Cheryl isn’t there to persuade him to eat like before
He stared at the dinning table and the urge to eat almost came but he fought it
“Is she ok now?” He asked himself and went to work worriedly
His l-ips is bruised and he had to use small patch on it
D-Royals is not growing as Mr Tanner promised, it has remained how it was since the partnersh¡p and Alan kept saying they need time
His mind went to Dre, since he left his office angrily the other time, he has not called or come again
He brought out his phone and dialled his line as he entered the company but Dre never picked

“Eat!” Daisy shouted at Camila at breakfast this morning
She passed out in the wardrobe yesterday and she had to pour water on her head in the bathroom before she woke up
“I’m not hungry” Camila replied slowly
“Look you’ll die and I don’t care!” Daisy ranted again
” I know you don’t care, isn’t that why you tried to kill me yesterday by locking me up in the wardrobe?, Just know that anytime I get the chance, I’ll expose you completely, worthless mother, I regret being your daughter and I hate you!” Camila spat
*Really?”
“Sure” she replied and carried her backpack to leave for school
“I don’t trust you, you aren’t going anywhere” Daisy said and took her upstairs to her room again, she locked her in the room and locked the door
“She might sneak out of school during lunchtime and spill everything to Louis, I can’t lose Louis, never” Daisy thought

” I told you not to come and pick me up to school, it’s enough that you drive me home from work always” Elena complained when Shane came to pick her up this morning
“I can’t help it, I just felt like doing it and I decided not to argue with my mind” he smiled as she got in
He moved the car. ” So when are we starting work on our project?” He asked
“Anytime” she replied slowly
” You can be coming over to my house right?” He asked
“Huh?” She looked at him
” Say your mind or should I be coming over to your house?” He said
” No no, I’ll be coming over, and we’ll have to visit modelling industries and fashion institutes right?” She asked
” Of course” he replied
She nodded nervously
” I need to get a new book, ion have a spare book” Shane said, stopping the car in front of a bookshop
He got down from the car and entered the bookstore
“Oh, I think I need one too” Elena said, coming out of the car after some minutes
She made to cross the road but a car that was parked beside the road suddenly moved swiftly towards her, it’s too late to dodge or run
It hit her and her body flew up before landing back on the ground
The car zoomed off immediately and it was then Shane came out of the bookstore
He threw the books he got away and rushed to the scene, people have gathered there already
He knelt beside her body and held her head, shaking her vigorously
The side of her head has a small cut and her knees are wounded
“Elena, Elena look at me” Shane said, still shaking her unconscious body but she’s not moving
“Elena!, Elena!!, Elena!!!, Someone call the ambulance!!!” He scre-med with tears in his eyes
