Ekaette opened her eyes only to found herself in a dark room with no window in it.
she was being tie to a chair, they covered her mouth to prevent her from shouting. she struggled to free herself but they effort was fruitless.
Sandra phone rang, she picked the call and placed it on her ear.
“She’s here with us MA. “the voice sounded
“Good, I want this work to be done in clean hands without any trace”she said.
“Consider it done.
She hung up the call.
Ekaette was crying. she tried to free herself which resulted in her falling down with the chair she was being tie to.
Hypo, the leader of the gang finally came in,side the room she was. she could not see his face because of the dark room.
He untie her mouth for her to breath a little.
“Please let me go I’m innocent. maybe you are mistaken “she pleaded crying seriously
“You should have think about your life before you snatch what was not yours from the owner “.hypo said.
Ekaette reasoned what hypo just said and got to the conclusion that Sandra is behind this. therefore she cry and the more.
“Please let me go, I promise I won’t get close to Daniel again ever in my life “she said pleadingly.
“So you knew what you did, and you tried to deny the fact that you are innocent? he slapped her hærd on the cheek.
She cried, and scre-m but her voice could not be heard from anywhere.
“I’m sorry miss, you should have think about your life before you tempered with someone’s property. I’m only doing my job “he concluded and brought out a small pistol 🔫 thereby increasing the fear in Ekaette.
She was visibly shaking this time around, thinking about her life. even Daniel was not there to save her. she was doomed.
Hypo k-ss the gun, and position it well ready to shoot.
“Say your last prayer miss “he commanded in an angry tone
Ekaette opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out. tears was flowing like river Jordan.
Hypo pointed the gun on her forehead ready to shoot.
“Tell Satan I said hello “he said mockingly,he positioned his hand well to pull up the trigger.
“Not so fast my friend, “a voice interrupted him and he looked back only to receive a heavy and hærd punch on the nose which send him flying on the air and found himself at last on the floor.the pistol also was far from him this time around.
He stood up, blood was dripping in his nose. he positioned himself.
Daniel came in view fully, Ekaette seeing she gasp thinking how Daniel get to know her whereabout.
Hypo ran towards Daniel and send out a punch but he missed it because Daniel was too fast to dodge it. Daniel gave him another heavy blow on the jaw making his teeth to vibrate.
He send the back the punch, this time around it caught Daniel on the stomach. Daniel coughed trying to stand up but he was really weak.
Hypo brought out a small kitchen knife 🔪 and hide it in his clothes without Daniel knowing.
Daniel stood up to attack him again .unknowingly to Daniel hypo took out the small kitchen knife and stabbed him on the shoulder making blood to gush out.
Ekaette could not withstand the sight again. she cried the more seeing how Daniel was suffering for her.
Hypo walked to where the pistol was, he picked it up and pointed it at Daniel who was now coughing out blood.
“You two can get married in hell”he said was about pulling the trigger when Ekaette hit him very hærd on the head. he fell down dead.
Ekaette rushed to where Daniel was lying helpless, she try to lift up up, but she fell down too. Daniel smiled at her.
“Don’t worry my dear, I’m fine”he said and stood up.
“How did you know that I’m here? Ekaette asked expecting an answer .
Daniel smiled remembering how it happened.
#Flash back.
Sandra was in the bathroom when her phone rang. it was disturbing Daniel’s sleep. he looked at the screen and saw her boldly written on it. he ended the call but it came in again he decided to pick it this time around.
He pick it and placed it on his ear without saying anything.
“MA, you said her name is Ekaette. we have found her and she’s here with us. you can come and see how she will die in pain. the address is #No 40. nkek abak street opposite the filling station “he said and ended the call without hearing any response from the receiver.
Daniel could not believe his ears, it had gotten to the extent Sandra wants Ekaette dead? he stood and dress up without her knowing and then head out of the room to the address he mentioned.
On getting there, the area was fenced with a high wall and electric wires.he crawled through the back open ground and enter.
He met two other men discussing on the second floor without them knowing that someone is behind them.
Daniel tip toed to where they sat. he grabbed the two of them at the same time, twisted their neck and it broke which they died instantly and he proceeded to the inner room which he heard what happens.
He waited until he heard hypo talking about pulling the trigger before he bagged in.

Ekaette hug him so tight not feeling like letting him go.
“Thank you for saving my life, you are my hero “she said and k-ss him on the l-ips. 💋 💋
She lead her out of the building, they walked out.
Daniel boarded a taxi to Saint Matthew clinic where he was admitted and his wounds were treated.
Sandra on the other end was so excited that Ekaette has been executed and nobody will know that she’s behind it.
Daniel after they left the hospital, they went to his house in the city, Ekaette helped him to open the door which they both entered and she closed it back.
She led him to the parlor to sit down.
“Please relax my hero while I boil water for you to take your bath “she said and dash into the kitchen.
Daniel smiled at her retrieving figure and was amazed. he wondered that Ekaette is not yet his wife but she’s treating him so good and well.
“Please come and take your bath my hero. “she said smiling
Daniel stood up and walked to the bathroom, Ekaette was staring at his masculine body. she was in love with his body.
Daniel started taking off his clothes and Ekaette looked away.
“I have to be at the kitchen now,when you are done call me. ”
“OK Nani “he said jokingly and they all burst out laughing.
The aroma in the house was a pleasant one and it filled the wh0le house. Ekaette was frying egg in the kitchen and at the same time preparing noodles for the both of them.
