Ekaette woke up so early, she k-ssed Daniel on the l-ips and move to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
Daniel woke up too after some minutes, he searched for her in the room but couldn’t find her.
Perceiving the great aroma coming out from the kitchen he smiled to himself and stood up walking to the kitchen.
#Police Cell
Sandra was now looking pale as if she will die off in the next given minutes.
She looked so scattered and dirty.
Nobody dare went to visit her in there. she regretted everything she did back then and drop her head down feeling hot years dropping from her eyes.
Dinning
Daniel sat down enjoying the meal that was before him. he couldn’t believe how sweet the food was.
He devour the food and then look up, that was when he noticed that Ekaette wasn’t eating.
He dropped down his spoon looking at her seriously.
“What happen? why not eating? he asked
“My hero, there’s something bothering me ”
“I’m here for you sweetheart say it out ”
“Promise me that you will do it if I tell you.
Daniel didn’t know what she meant, but to make her happy he need to respond.
“If only it’s possible, then I will do it ”
“No ,that’s not a promise. I need a promise.
“Fine you win, I promise you that I will do it “he finally said it out
Ekaette smiled and hug him
“My hero “Ekaette said rom-ncing him
“Yes, I’m all ears.
“Please, I think we should go and visit Sandra ”
Immediately she said that Daniel’s mode changed to an angry one, he stood up having an angry look walking to the fridge and pick up a cold drink.
“Sweetheart, I’m sorry we can’t do that. remember she’s evil “Daniel said.
Ekaette was nowhere looking sober. she walked to where he stood. placed her hands on his shoulder rubbing it gently.
“I know that what she did was evil, but she needs forgiveness my hero”
“What if in the process of killing you she would have succeeded, will you be happy in the grave seeing us both married? he asked looking straight into her eyes.
Ekaette drop her head down not knowing what to say.
“I can’t do it ,it’s impossible “Daniel said.
“Please my hero, if you truly loves me as you say.please do it for the sake of our love ”
Daniel knew that there’s nothing again left for him to say or do than to agree to her plan.
“Fine you win. we will go visit her”he said aloud taking his drink.
Ekaette smiled and hug him k-ssing him which he responded.
“I will spoil you today “she said dragging Daniel to the inner room. Daniel smiled following her.
#5 hours later
Daniel and Ekaette was seen in the police counter signing some doc-ments after being directed to where Sandra was in.
Ekaette used her hand to cover her nose because of the unpleasant smell that was coming from the cell.
Noises was heard from different rooms and cells.
Finally they got to where Sandra was. holding hands together.
Sandra was so ashamed to raise her head up and speak with them.
“Sandra, “Ekaette called slowly. she only nod her head positively without raising her head up. and Ekaette could feel the pains she’s passing through.
“In times like this, there’s nothing to be done ”
She finally lift up her head, and that was when Ekaette noticed that she was crying all this while because tears was in her eyes.
“Ekaette, Daniel I’m so sorry. I didn’t know what came over me. please I need your forgiveness. even if I am to die here, but if you only forgive me then I can die in peace.
From the way she speak Daniel could feel that she’s truly sorry.
“I’ve always forgiven you Sandra “Ekaette said feeling tears coming from her eyes too.
Sandra was shocked hearing that from Ekaette. all her thought was that she won’t forgive her but she was wrong.
Daniel was speechless but he had no other option than to forgive her too.
“I’ve forgiven you too”Daniel said out and she smiled.
“Thank you guys for forgiving me, now I can die with my wickedness and rest in peace.
Ekaette couldn’t bear it anymore, she burst out crying along with Sandra.
she was a woman too and she understood what Sandra was passing through.
Ekaette dragged Daniel to s particular in the room where Sandra couldn’t hear what they were saying.
“My hero please, you’ve forgiven her and you need to forget too”
Daniel knew where she was driving to, he hug her.
“She will be released “Daniel said
“Thank you very sweetheart ,I’m grateful “she said and hug him smiling.
She clean her eyes and they went to where Sandra was standing.
“Don’t worry dear all will be fine “she assured Sandra and she nodded her head.
Daniel left them both to have a cool conversation. he walked into the DPO after being directed to.
“Sir, withdraw the case from the court”he said.
“As you wish man, it is done “said the DPO
“Thank you sir, he said and shook her with him.
Daniel walked back to the cell followed by two officers.
Sandra heartbeat increased thinking that’s her last moment on earth .
The two officers removed the handcuffs and set her free.
She thanked Daniel and Ekaette kneeling down.
Daniel took her to his house in his car.

Daniel took Sandra to his house after discussing with Ekaette to allow her stay with them for a while.
Days past and weeks pass still Sandra was still staying with Daniel and Ekaette in the same house.
She was now cool and humble.
Ekaette was so happy that she has finally changed but not knowing that more of her awaiting evil is coming.
Daniel left to visit one of his friend leaving the both of them in the house to stay.
He k-ssed Ekaette goodbye and wave at Sandra and she wave back smiling.
Daniel finally left me the house followed by Ekaette who esc-rted him to his car.
“Please take care of yourself my hero “she Said
“OK baby I will”he replied and k-ssed her on the forehead.
Ekaette return to the house after Daniel has left. she met Sandra sitting in the couch watching TV.
They watched Zee world movie and the movie was so boring.
“Ekaette, I think we should play some games” Sandra suggested.
“That’s nice. what game do you suggest we should play?
“I think hide and seek will be ok”sandra said
“Okay, let’s start and you first”
Sandra ran in,side the huge kitchen because Daniel’s house was big with different rooms in it.
“1,,2,,3,, here I come “Ekaette announced loudly only to hear the echo of her voice.
She went in,side searching for Sandra but she couldn’t find her.
She opened the kitchen door that Sandra was hiding behind the door but she was too blind to see her.
She returned to the parlour without finding her because she has searched everywhere she knew but no sign of her.
“Sandra okay you win now come out”
Sandra came out from her hiding place.
“Lazy girl, I win. now it’s your turn.
Ekaette ran outside the compound heading to where the water tank is located, Sandra tip toed and followed her to know where she would hide.
she saw Sandra opening the water tank she nodded her head and returned to the room.
1,,2=,3,, here I come Ekaette”
She ran outside the house searching everywhere pretending as if she does not know where Ekaette is hiding.
She finally stop searching and walk straight to the water and listened carefully to hear whether Ekaette will make a sound.
She walked to the tank, because the tank was on the ground.
She carried a big stone carefully and placed it at the entrance of the tank and tighten the cover, then t-rn on the water.
Ekaette was still on there when she heard the sound of water moving from the pipe coming to the tank.
The water finally arrived bit by bit covering her legs.
She bang the tank so hærd shouting for help .
She tried to open the tank but her effort was fruitless.
“Sandra! Sandra! please help me I’m trap” she shouted on top of her voice.
The water was increasing bit by bit to her belly side.
Sandra heard her crying and banging the tank. she smiled wickedly.
“You think I’m a fool to sit and watch you two getting married? Never in my life”she said smiling wickedly.
The water finally got to Ekaette neck. all her strength was gone. she can’t even concentrate anymore.
Sandra finally left the place going back into the house without minding whether Ekaette will die or not.
Sandra was the devil herself if she was to be described.

Daniel came back home, open the car door and walk in,side the building expecting to be welcomed by his love.
“Hello sweetheart I’m back “Daniel said aloud unbuttoning his shirt getting ready to hug and k-ss her.
Sandra heard the noise and pretend to be sleeping.
She lie down on the couch wearing a short mini gown that exposed been laps and her p-nties making it visible to be viewed at a distance.
Daniel saw her lying there, he wondered where Ekaette could be that Sandra is alone.
He walked closer to where Sandra lie down, tap her to wake up.
She stood up facing Daniel in a way their l-ips were close to each other as if they will k-ss each other.
“Oh you are back danny”
“Yes, please where is Ekaette “he asked
“Oh she has not told you?
“Told me what? Daniel asked wondering what could that be
“She told me that she wants to visit her male friend outside the city.
Just then Daniel’s mind drifted back to Steve. could it be that Ekaette is still in love with Steve? no it can’t be, I trust her” he said within himself.
Sandra smiled sed-ctively and wickedly seeing the confuse look on Daniel’s face.
“OK, I think I have to go and rest for now “said said and left
“But……
Daniel turned and look at her
“But what?
“What?
“Nothing “she replied and sat down eating her nails like a child.
Night finally came but no sign of Ekaette coming, the house was beginning to be boring without Ekaette.
Daniel knew that if he does not make a move that Sandra will be your to something.
Daniel left the room wearing only singlet.he looked at the wall clock and the time reads 8:15pm .
He sat outside expecting to see Ekaette coming but she was nowhere to be found.
He heard water dripping from the tank side.the sound of the water was loud enough to be heard.
He stood up and walked to the tank area. he discovered that the tank has leak.
“I think the tank needs repair, I will do that tomorrow “he said and was about to leave when he noticed that the h0le made in the tank was so big and wide.
He looked through it and saw something looking like Ekaette’s neglace he gave her.
Remembering that Sandra told him that she wants to visit a friend he waved off the idea.
He left the place going back to his former position. he waited for the next 30 minutes but couldn’t see her.
Just then reality struck him of how wicked Sandra could be. the idea struck him.
He ran back to the licking tank.
“Ekaette! Ekaette! he shouted trying to open the tank.
He noticed the big stone placed at the top. he quickly trow the stone away and open the tank only to find Ekaette in there floating without breathing .
“Ekaette! he shouted and then lift her heavy body out.
she was drown, he drop her down pressing the water out of her. doing mouth to mouth respiration but all efforts was fruitless.
He shook her body but she was so cold. he shook her crying and shouting loud but no sign of Ekaette waking up.
