Chapter Twenty Four.

Seraphina’s pov:
“Seraphina” mom called as I left the house.
I stopped and turned to her.

“Where are you going to?” She asked staring at me.
“Nowhere… I just want to take a stroll” I lied and left the house.
Am kind of still angry with her cause she’s keeping alot of things from me. Why do I feel like my brain is locked somehow.
I can’t think far.

I have to meet Pinkie.
And I know Rex will be at his shoot by this time.
She’ll be at home alone.

I took a cab and got to Rex’s mansion.
The gatemen literally allowed me in.
I thought Rex would tell them not to let me in.
Lucky for me!

A maid took me to where Pinkie was.
She was at the pool side sitting on a lounge chair reading a book.

She flinched on seeing me.
“What are you doing here?!!” She asked wearing a frown.

“Am sorry for what happened but I need to talk to you” I said.

“Are you kidding me? We have nothing to talk about so get the hell out of my house!” She yelled.

cheex, she has so much ego..

“Just tell me one thing and I’ll leave. Just answer one question for me…” I begged.

She scoffed.
“You’re such a dreamer” she muttered and chuckled.

Wow… She’s too stubborn!

“Please Pinkie, I’ll do anything. Just tell me who Bam ji is”

She looked at me and scoffed.

“I have the right to know, the name sound so familiar and make twitch a little but I don’t know where I heard the name..I can’t remember anything!” I rapsed.

“Ask your mom, not me,
“If I see you around me again, you won’t walk out on me complete. You better leave” she said.

Why can’t she understand? How do I convince her?

I heard loud cars driving into the compound. Who could that be?

I turned to Pinkie and she was busy reading her book. It’s best I just leave and ask mom.

I turned and walked away from Pinkie. I walked into Rex on the way… Jesus!

He wore golden earrings and goldchain on his neck with his black shirt.
I miss him.

But why do I have to run into him. He’ll kill me for sure.

“R…Rex” I stammered looking at him scrutiny.

He chuckled.
“I’ve been avoiding you cause only God knows what I planned to do to you once I set my eyes on you and you might not survive from it… ” he said and next thing I know he punched me on my face.

I had a sharp cut on my lip and start to bleed.

He grabbed my wrist and held it tightly hurting the creep out of me.

“You crossed the line the moment you dropped that snake in her bag…” He said roughly.

I gr0-ned in pain.
“Ouch… Please let go! You’re hurting my wrist!” I cried but he didn’t stop one bit.

I’ve never seen Rex so angry.
God save me.

He left me and I fell to the floor. I cried like a baby.
He kicked me twice on my belly and I gr0-ned.

“Rex, stop!” Pinkie yelled running to him.

She held his hands standing between us.
“Please stop beating her. That’s enough” she pleaded with Rex.

Rex didn’t say a word as he just stared at me quietly with so much scorn.

I stuttered backwards..

“Please Rex… You might give her a permanent damage” she said keeping him away from me.

Rex shrugged her hands off and stormed into the house.

Pinkie turned to me and helped me up while I sobbed.

My life is a mess,!!!

I might as well commit suicide.
Watching the man I love hurt me this way is same as death.

Oh Rex, just forgive me💔😭

Pinkie held me.

Why is she being so nice,?
I’ve been a monster to her!

I laid on the bed as mom used a towel on me. She’d put it into the warm water on the bowl and dab it on my face where I got a cut!

I can’t hold it any longer, I need to know.

“, go ahead” she replied.

“Am I Bam ji?” I asked and the towel fell from her hand.

She glanced at me with her l-ips shaking.
