Episode 15.

I woke up and check the time.
It’s 11:30pm.
It is night already.
I slept that long?
I yawned tiredly.
I stood up from the bed, my stomach grumbled.
I sighed.
” Am hungry”
I was about walking out when I sighed something on the small table beside the bed.
I checked it and it is food.
But who kept it here? I thought.
Maybe the kids for it for me when they went out with their dad for dinner.
I smiled.
” That is thoughtful of them”
They actually care about me.
I got out of the room. I need to check up on the kids.
I got to their room, they are fast asleep.
I smiled and ksses their forehead.
I covered them with the duvet properly.
I got out of the room and head downstairs.
I need to put the food in the microwave to heat it up a bit.
I got to the kitchen and warm the food.
I sat down at the dinning.
I finished eating and drank a glass of water.
I placed the dish in the kitchen.
I was going up the stairs heading to my room.. I sighted Nathaniel coming down the stairs.
We got to the middle of the stairs and stood their staring at each other.
I cleared my throat and he looked away
” You are awake? He asked
” Yeah”
” Uhmmmm…where are you coming from? He asked.
” I went to the kitchen but now am heading to my room” i said climbing the stairs.
” Thank you” he said.
I stopped and turned to look at him.
I arched my brow.
” For looking after my kids” he said.
” You don’t need to thank me, they are my kids also. It is my responsibility to look after them” i said.
.”okay, I won’t be coming for the meeting at their school.. you can go with them” he said.
” Okay” i nodded my head.
” Goodnight” he said climbing down the stairs.
I stood there looking at him as he walked away..
” Did he just wished goodnight?
A smile creeped on my face.
I climbed up the stairs and head to my room.
I got there and fell on the bed.
” I will be the one going for the meeting at the kids school”
” How will it look like being among rich and classy people?
” I need to dress wealthily”
I thought with a smile on my face.
” But what will I wear?
I got up and went to the closet.
I haven’t put on what mum and I shopped for.
I started going through it selecting what to put on.
I was able to pick a beautiful gown.

I woke up this morning.
Today is the meeting at the kids school.
The meeting will be starting as early as 10:00am.
I need to look extremely g©rgeous.
I smiled.
Nathaniel has gone for his business trip two days ago.
He do call to speak with the kids.
I got down from the bed, brushed my teeth and head to the kitchen.
I prepared the breakfast.
I got to the kids room.
I met them still sleeping.
I woke them up.
” Wakie wakie girls” i said whispered in their ears sweetly.
Mabel yawned sleepily.
I smiled.
” Good morning mum” Angel greeted.
” Good morning my Angel” I kssed her forehead.
She smiled.
” Good morning mum” Mabel greeted.
I smiled.
” Still feeling sleepy? I asked.
She nodded her head.
” Come on princess, it is time for school okay.. let’s go get ready for school” I said kssing her forehead.
I freshened them up and get them ready for school.
We walked out of the room.
” I missed dad” Angel said staring at his door.
” Me too” Mabel nodded.
I smiled
” Don’t worry girls, dad will be back soon. Let’s go have our breakfast” i said.
We got to the dinning.
I served the breakfast.
” Eat your breakfast, the driver will drop you off at school” i said.
” Why will the driver drop us off? Angel asked.
” Are you not coming along? Mabel asked.
I smiled.
” You know I need to get ready for the meeting” i winked at them.
They smiled.
” How I wish dad too will be coming along” Angel said.
” Me too” mabel added.
” Eat your breakfast so you don’t keep the driver waiting” I said.
” Okay mum”.
We all ate our breakfast.
I packed their lunch like I normally do.
We got out of the house and stood beside the car.
” Good morning ma’am” the driver bowed.
” Good morning” I said.
” Now kids get into the car” I said kssing their cheeks.
” Okay mum, bye mum” Angel said.
She got into the car.
” Bye mum” Mabel said getting into the car.
” Dont be late mum” Angel said.
I smiled.
” I won’t”.
I waved at them.
The driver got into the car and drove off.
I got into the house.
I cleaned the dishes and cleared the kitchen.
I cleaned the sitting room.
I got to the kids room.
I arranged their room.
I got into my room and arranged it.
I got into the bathroom.
I decided to take my time.
I got out of the bathroom.
I picked the beautiful yellow gown I selected from the clothes mum shopped for me.
I wore a yellow heel shoe matching with the yellow gown.
I took a yellow fancy and beautiful hand bag to complete the dressing.
I sat down at the front of the mirror.
I applied little make up on my face.
” Wow” excaped my mouth.
I look extremely beautiful.
I styled my hair the same with the kids.
I stare at myself In the mirror with smiles on my face.
I got out of the room.
I got out and met the driver standing.
” Let’s go” i said.
We got into Nathaniel’s most lastest and expensive car.
” You look beautiful ma’am” the driver said while driving.
I smiled.
” Thank you”

We got into the school.
The driver came out.
He opened the door for me.
I got out of the car.
I looked around.
I saw many cars parked at the school.
I was directed to the school auditorium.
I cat walked gently into the auditorium.
It is extremely wide and well decorated.
Some parents are all seated.
I got in,side.
People seated turned to looked at me.
I walked to a seat and sat down.
” Wow” excaped some mouths.
I smiled.
” Everybody seems to be looking at me wondering who I am”
I smiled.
I felt happy being the centre of attention.
Everyone seems to be looking at me.
The meeting started.
” Good day everyone”
Everyone concentrated on the woman speaking.
I smiled.

” We have come to the end of the meeting, thank you all for your contributions and suggestion concerning the development of the school. We really appreciate everyone of you here for honouring our invitation. Thank you very much. Stay blessed” the head teacher said and dropped the mic.
The meeting finally ended.
Students trooped into the auditorium.
Probably waiting for the end of the meeting.
I stood up.
” Mum” Angel shouted running towards me.
I smiled.
” Mum? I heard some murmuring looking at me.
” Is this not Nathaniel Raymond’s daughter?
” Is this his wife? I thought he lost his wife? Is he married again?
” Why did she call her mum?
” She is really beautiful.
I heard people murmuring.
I Ignored them and focused on my Angel.
She got to me.
” Where is Mabel? I asked.
” In her class mum” she said.
” Okay” i nodded my head.
” You look beautiful mum” Angel said.
I smiled .
” Thank you Angel” i said k-ssing her forehead.
” Let’s go meet Mabel” she said

” Excuse me madam” i heard someone say behind me.
I turned.
It is a young looking man.
Probably in his early forties.
” Is this your daughter? He asked.
” Yes”
” Are you Nathaniel Raymond wife? He asked.
“I..
” Yes, she is my mum” Angel said frowning.
The man looked at her then smiled.
” Let’s go mum” Angel said.
” You are beautiful” he said referring to me.
” Thank you,” Angel said dragging me out.
” Angel..
” Mum, let’s go meet Mabel” angel said interrupting me.
I laughed.
It is obvious she doesn’t like the man.
” Okay”.
” Mum, wait here while bring Mabel” she said walking away.
I smiled.
” Hi ma’am”.
I turned and saw Clara with a man and a woman.
I smiled.
” Hi Clara” i said.
” Mum, this is Angel’s mum” Clara said.
” Angel’s mum? The woman asked.
” Yes, mum Angel and Mabel’s mum” she said.
” Mum” i heard someone called.
I turned and saw Mabel running towards me.
I smiled.
She got to me.
I hugged her.
” You look beautiful mum” she said.
I smiled.
” Thank you princess” I said.
” Hi Clara” Angel said .
” Hi Angel” she said.
” Mum, these are Clara’s parents” she said.
I smiled.
” Am rose, nice meeting you” I said.
” Nice meeting you too” the woman said while her husband only smile.
I smiled.
” Bye” Clara said walking away with her parents.
” Come let’s me show you to All my classmates and teachers” Angel said.
” Me too mum,” mabel beamed.
I followed them.
I met some of their classmates and their parents.
I met their teachers too like they wanted.
The teachers were surprised to see me as their mum.
We got into the car and drove back home.
We got home.
” Mum, my friends couldn’t stop talking about you” Angel said.
” Yes, mum even my friends too” Mabel said.
” Yes mum.. everyone keeps talking about you” Angel said smiling.
” How did you know? I asked with a smile.
” Mum, we heard them” Angel said smiling
I laughed.
” Go to your room now and undress your uniform” i said
” Okay mum” Angel said climbing the stairs with Mabel.
I got into the kitchen..
I drank a glass of water.
I got into my room.
I changed my clothes.
I got to the children’s room.
They have undressed their uniform and dressed in their mofty.
” Now, where is your assignment? I asked.
” Here mum” Mabel said.
We did the assignment and kept the books in their bags.
” Mum, let’s head downstairs” we got downstairs.
I got into the kitchen and made the fruit salad.
We sat down at the sitting room.
I put on the TV.
It is news and entertainment station.
📷 I read the headlines.
” The popular young billionaire Nathaniel Raymond has got married again.
The presenters sat down.
The first one said.. ” today we got to know Nathaniel Raymond’s wife with his two beautiful kids”🎙️
” 🎙️She is a beautiful woman even though we don’t know anything about her🎙️
🎙️She was present at the kids school today, she is indeed classic and beautiful. She rocks yellow in her matching outfits 🎙️
The screen displayed my pictures.

” It is a picture of me walking into the auditorium”
The other one is a picture of me with the kids.

” Mum, look at us in the t.v” mabel beamed.
” Mum, everyone is talking about you” angel said.
I smiled.

Am done with the business deal I came for
I got into my private jet heading back home.
We landed back In the country.
I really missed my kids but I need to get to the office now.
I got to the car.
The driver drove off.
I got Into the company.
I saw my staffs scurried away when they sighted me.
I got into the office.
I saw a newspaper article on my table.
I picked it flipping through it.
My eyes caught something.
” One of the richest men in the country,. Nathaniel Raymond is married to his beautiful wife rose”
What? I flinched.
” The kids called her mom at the meeting In the school.. there is no doubt they are married.. it was confirmed that she is his wife.. she is extremely beautiful in her yellow outfit” it’s read.
The pictures of rose and the kids are there.
I squeezed the paper angrily and threw it away.
How could she lie that she is my wife.
How could she tell the world that we are married when we are not?
I got up angrily.
I got to into the car.
” TAKE ME HOME NOW” I roared.
