Episode 05.

” What is wrong with Nathan? He is just so stubborn” mum said.
” Let’s go meet him” Dad said.
They both stood up and went up the stairs.
” Ma’am rose, are you going to be living here with us? Angel asked.
” Yes Angel” i said with a smile.
” Am happy you will be taking care of us now” Mabel said in her tiny voice.
I smiled.
Mum and Dad came down.
She sighed and sat down beside Mabel and Angel.
” Angel, Mabel this is rose and she will be staying here to look after you because am travelling soon and your dad might be very busy” mum said.
” Okay Grandma” Angel said.
” But your dad doesn’t want her to stay, he doesn’t want her to take care of you” mum said.
Angel and Mabel frowned.
” Why? Angel asked.
” I just don’t know, he just doesn’t want anyone to look after you, he doesn’t want anyone to live here with you” mum shrugged.
” I know dad doesn’t love us” Mabel said.
” Don’t say that princess, Dad, he loves you” I said.
” Let’s go meet him” Angel said.
They both stood up and went up stairs.

How could mum and dad just bring a stranger to my house and they want her to start living here in the name of looking after the kids.
Who told them I can’t look after my own kids?

Angel and Mabel came in frowning.
” What’s wrong” i asked.
” Dad, why don’t you want her to stay? Mabel asked.
” Who?
” Ma’am rose” Angel said.
I sighed.
” I just don’t want her to stay” i said.
” Dad why? Mabel asked.
” I just don’t want her to stay here” i half yelled.
They flinched ” Dad?
I sighed ruffling my hair.
” Am sorry” i apologized trying to touch them.
They moved away from me.
” Angel I..
” Don’t touch me Dad, you are selfish, you only care about yourself, you don’t care about us at all” she said tears threatening to drop from her eyes..
” Angel I care about you” i said trying to convince them.
” No dad you don’t, you don’t care about us and you don’t love us either. Grandma is traveling and you will be busy with your work, who will be here to look after us? She yelled.
” I can look after you” i said.
” Really? She scoffed.
I sighed.
” You can’t dad you will be busy with your work” Mabel yelled.
” Why don’t you let’s ma’am rose stay? Angel asked.
” She just can’t stay” i said.
” Dad you promised to do whatever we want” Mabel said.
” I know I promised you but not this” i said.
” We don’t have mum and ma’am rose want to take care of us like our mum but you won’t let her stay. I hate you dad. I hate you” Angel yelled with tears Rolling down her cheeks.
She ran of out of the room.
“Even I don’t want to talk to you ever again” Mabel said running out of the room.
I ruffled my hair angrily.
I just upset my kids when I thought they are beginning to believe that I love them.
Then mum brought a lady and they all want me to accept her.
It hurts to see my kids cry.
They are my biggest strength and also my weakness.
It hurts so much to hear my daughter tell me she hate me.
I think it is better I let rose stay if it will make them happy.
I got out of the room
The children are not in the sitting room.
I got to the door.
They had locked it.
I knocked.
” Angel, Mabel please open this door” i said knocking.
” Go away dad, you don’t care about us” Angel yelled.
” I care about you please open the door” i said.
” No dad, we don’t want to talk to you” Mabel yelled.
” Please I have something to tell you. Just please open the door for daddy” i said.
Mabel opened the door.
She has been crying.
” Am sorry Mabel” i said cleaning her tears.
I walked in.
Angel is also crying.
I felt bad seeing them in tears.
“Am sorry Angel” i said.
She looked away.
I sighed.
” Okay Rose will stay and live here with us” i said.
Angel looked at me.
” Really? She asked.
” Yes, she will live here with us” I said.
” Thank you Dad, you are the best” Mabel said smiling.
” Really? I asked.
” Yes you are the best” Angel beamed.
I laughed and kssed their foreheads.
They smiled.
” We love you dad”
” I love you more”
They both ran out.

” Grandma, grandpa” we heard the kids voice running down the stairs.
They got to where mum is.
” Grandma, Dad has agreed, ma’am rose will be staying here with us” Angel said beaming.
” Really? Mum asked.
” Yes grandma” Mabel said while Angel nodded her head.
” And how did you convince your dad” mum asked.
They looked at each other.
” That is our little secret” they giggled.
Mum and dad smiled.
” Ma’am rose you are welcome to our house” Angel said smiling.
I smiled.
” Thank you Angel” I said.
” I guess the children convinced him, he couldn’t bear to see his children sad, we couldn’t convince him but his children did the magic” dad said.
Mum smiled.
” She can start living with us” we heard Nathaniel cold voice.
I turned.
” I only agreed for her to stay because of my kids and nothing more” he said.
” Thank you Dad” they children said smiling.
He smiled.
” Won’t you give dad a big kss” he asked smiling at them.
They both ran to him.
He squat to their level.
Mabel and Angel kssed his cheeks while he peck their forehead.
” You are the best ” they yelled smiling.
” And you are the best also” he said.
” Okay, Dad have to go somewhere now” he said walking also.
” Get something for us dad” Angel yelled.
” Of course I will”
He went out.
He really loves his children.
I smiled.
” Ma’am rose come let’s show you around” Angel said.
I smiled.
They are both adorable.
I stood up.
Mabel held my left hand while Angel held my right hand.
Episode 06.
🌷Rose 🌷
It’s been a week since i started living here.
The kids are very adorable.
I just love them.
Nathaniel has already warned me to stay off him.
Am only here for the kids.
I shouldn’t poke nose in his business if i still want to remain staying here.
I woke up this morning, took my bath qnd dressed up.
I got into the children’s room. They covered them selves up with the duvet.
They are still sleeping?
I smiled.
” Wakie, wakie princess” i said.
” Wakie wakie Angel”
” Boooomm” they shouted laughing.
I smiled.
So they were not sleeping?
” So you were awake? I asked.
” Yes” Angel said while Mabel nodded her head.
‘ so why did you pretend to be asleep? I asked.
They looked at each other.
” Our little secret” they said smiling.
I smiled.
” Okay, get up, get up, let’s take our bath” I said.
They both got up.
” Before our bath, let’s arrange the room” i said.
They nodded their heads smiling.
We arrange the room neatly.
I brushed their teeth.
And bathed them.
I dressed them up and styled their hair.
” We are very beautiful” they yelled smiling.
I laughed.
” I look just like a princess” Mabel said smiling.
” And I look just like an Angel” Angel said smiling.
” Of course” i smiled.
” Thank you ma’am rose”
” You are welcome now let’s go prepare breakfast” i said.
” Yeeahhhh” they yelled happily.
I smiled.
I held their hands walking out of the room.
We got to Nathaniel’s door.
” We want to greet dad” Angel said.
” Okay” i said and left their hands.
” You can come with us ma’am” Mabel said.
” No princess, I can’t come in” I said.
” Why? Angel asked.
I smiled.
” Quickly go in while I wait here” i said k-ssing their cheeks.
They looked at each other then went in.

I was on the bed sleeping when I felt someone pinched my cheek.
I opened my eyes and saw my children on the bed laughing.
I smiled.
” Good morning Dad” they shouted smiling
I smiled.
” Good morning” I said k-ssing their foreheads.
” How are you dad? Angel asked.
“Am fine and you? I asked.
” We are fine” Mabel said.
” You both are looking very beautiful” i said smiling at them.
” Ma’am rose did the magic”Mabel said.
While angel nodded her head.
Their hair is beautifully styled.
” I look just like an Angel”Angel beamed.
” And I look just like a princess” Mabel beamed.
I smiled.
” What about me? I asked pouting.
They looked at each other and smiled.
” You look just like…..
” Just like what? I asked.
They looked at each other again smiling.
” I look just like what? I asked smiling.
” Just like a King” they shouted smiling.
I laughed” Really? I asked.
They nodded their head.
I smiled.
” See you later dad, we want to prepare breakfast” Angel said.
They both ran out of the room.
I smiled. ” My kids are really happy”
Happiness is written all over their faces.
It’s been a week since rose started living here even though am not comfortable with it but there is nothing I can do about it.
I can’t deny the fact that she is really taking care of the kids.
They are very fond of her.
She get scared whenever she sees me.
I already warned her to stay off me and focus on the children if she still wants to stay here.
She is only here for my kids.
I got up and stared at Sarah’s picture.
” Our kids are really happy, how I wish you are here to make them happy and not a stranger” I said.
” I really missed you” i k-ssed the picture and walked into the bathroom to freshen up.

We got into the kitchen and prepared the breakfast.
I set the dinning to eat.
I dished out the food.
Nathaniel doesn’t eat at all.
I saw Nathaniel coming towards the dinning.
” Good… Morn…Ning…sir..’” i stuttered.
I get sacred whenever I see him.
He glared at me.
I fixed my gaze on the floor.
He just hate me and I don’t even know why?
” Dad came have breakfast with us” Angel said.
” No Angel, am okay” he said.
” Please dad, we prepared it” Mabel said.
” No Mabel, I have to go now” he said.
“Dad please, just one spoon” Angel said.
” Please Dad” Mabel pleaded pouting.
He sighed and looked at me.
I looked away.
” Okay”
Angel smiled, she took her spoon and fed him.
He took it.
” Can I leave now? He asked.
” Not yet dad, what about mine? Mabel asked pouting.
” Okay”
Mabel also fed him.
” Thank you Dad” Angel said smiling.
” You are the best” Mabel said smiling.
Angel nodded her head.
” Okay, am off to work now”
He k-ssed their foreheads and left.
I breathed out relieved.
His presence scares the shit out of me.
I sat down.
We all ate our breakfast and cleared the dish.
We sat down at the sitting room.
” Ma’am rose let’s go shopping” Angel said.
” Shopping? I arched my brow.
” Yes” she said
” And why? I asked.
” We are tired of staying indoor we just want to have some fun” she said.
‘” please ” Mabel pouted.
But now I don’t have much cash on me.
I sighed.
” Please ma’am” Angel pleaded.
” Angel, Mabel, am sorry but for now I don’t have much money on me” i said.
” Don’t worry about that ma’am” Angel said.
” We will take care of it” Mabel smiled.
I looked at the both of them.
” Let’s go call Dad” Angel said.
They stood up and went up the stairs.
I followed them.

I was in the office when my phone rang
I checked the caller.
It is Angel.
What is wrong?
She has a phone but hærdly call.
I gave her the phone incase there is an emergency.
I picked it up.📲
” Hi Dad” she said.
” Angel, is something wrong? I asked
” Not really dad, we want to go have some fun but we need money” she said.
” Okay” i said.
” Dad we are tired staying indoor. We want to go out but ma’am rose doesn’t have any money” she said.
” Okay, go into my room. Check my drawer beside the bed. Picked up my card and make use of it” i said.
” Okay, dad thank you”
” You are welcome”
” We love you, see you later”
She hang up.
I smiled.

“I just spoke to Dad now.
He said I should go to his room and pick up his card in the drawer” Angel said.
” Really? Mabel beamed.
She nodded her head.
” Come on let’s go” Angel said.
” Ma’am rose come with us” Mabel said.
” No.. I can’t” i said.
” Please..please please” she pleaded.
I sighed.
” Okay. Let’s go”
We all walked into Nathaniel’s room.
Wow” excaped my mouth.
His room is extremely large and beautiful.
His pictures were hanged on the wall.
I saw the picture of him and a beautiful lady.
I kept staring at it.
She is really beautiful.
They looked perfect together.
” That is our mom” Angel said.
” Ohhh”
” But she is no more now” Angel said sadly.
” It’s okay Angel don’t feel sad” i said.
” We have picked the card, let’s go” she said.
I looked at the room once again.
Their pictures were hanged all over especially the lady’s pictures.
She is really beautiful.
We all walked out of the room.
