EPISODE forty-six

~SELENA~

I had to wait and wait thinking he would call back but checking the time to send it’s almost twelve pm, I had to look for the nearest hotel to lodge into for the night before I come back home early this morning.”

I explained while they both hummed aside him who finds it funny and amusing because of the way the smirk on his face grew the more and I realize he was enjoying it but unfortunately for him, it was all a cooked up story.

“Are you sure you really came to my home?” He asked making me swallow really hærd.

Why can’t he just keep that thing in,side of him instead, I thought eyeing him badly while he just deepen his smirk annoying me to the core.

He would have just meet me in my office after this short meeting rather than discussing this right in front of this suspicious parents of mine.

” How sure are you that I didn’t step a toe Infront of your house?” You were even the one who carried me into your special room just to make me pass the night there freck. I added in my mind while I raise my eyebrows in a questioning manner.

” Obviously because I didn’t receive any call from any of my security guard.” He replied shaking his leg in an impatient manner.

Only if I have something to block his throat, I would have find my way in there inorder to stop him from spiting anything else.

” I would you know?” I asked while I chuckled internally with my l-ips pulled up in a smirk.

” You can’t know because you were busy doing your usual night dirty business or you think I don’t know about that? It’s a pity dad didn’t look into that fact before getting into this business marriage of a thing with you.

But come to think of it, you actually said you hate commitment right? Then why did you agree to this?” I asked pouring out my anger at once because it becoming too much for me to figure out by myself.

“Well… To answer those, I would like us to get married first then the answer to those questions will be figured out by you.” He said doing the tongue click of a thing.

The moment he did that, mom and dad both look up to my face pleading because they know I hate people doing that sound of a thing especially if we are In a heated conversation or argument.

” You can’t do that in my presence you pig.” I snorted angrily while he did it again making sure to annoy me.

” Don’t you have regards for strangers or others even if you don’t have for those at home which you called your parents!” I yelled angrily making anger flash through his eyes as he stand in his full height hovering over me…

” You can’t do that in my presence you pig.” I snorted angrily while he did it again making sure to annoy me.

” Don’t you have regards for strangers or others even if you don’t have for those at home which you called your parents!” I yelled angrily making anger flash through his eyes as he stand in his full height hovering over me.

With his height, I can feel myself wanting to back down but because of how angry I am, I stood on my heel even though am on heels. I can’t have him using his height against me just because he is 6’7 feat tall while I am just 5’6 feat tall.

You don’t use height when am this pissed because someone as old as I am and still be as tall as he is so he don’t have to stand up before I get to know you are reasonable and we’ll mannered.

But the person before me isn’t well manner or reasonable at all, all am seeing is just an animal in human clothing. The fact that he doesn’t even respect my parents presence before acting like a pig.

Am not surprised that they couldn’t talk, who knows what he has bribe them with before they agreed on me getting married to a beast like him. Am sure he was the one that made the contract hinder me from stepping out of the contract because if I was given the right at first, I would have just stepped out of it right from the minute I was told.

But unfortunately, I couldn’t because after reading the contract over and over again, I realize if I step out of it, all my dad’s company would be divided by the ratio of seventy percent to thirty percent.

Which means my dad would take thirty percent of what our family in wh0le has suffered for and he would get to take seventy percent of the properties we have while we will do so by paying him one million dollars at the end of each month till he gets to tell us not to pay him again.

But if he doesn’t say so, we will end up paying it for life and even our descendants would all continue to pay him even in death of him or after his death, we would still pay him.

Calculating the kind of loss we would face if I decline it, I don’t think we would be able to heal in the next one decade ( 100 years). Because what if after paying those workers and investing more we don’t have up to a million dollars left in the company savings account, that would be another dept to be paid another month.

And the more the remaining balance grow, the more we get both our back bone and foundation broken. So I had to correct my parents mistake in the sense that I will make sure I have the evidence of him cheating during that marriage then I can break it.

With that, I would get twenty percent of all his wealth and properties which would be an extra bonus on our property.

“I love her already, make preparations. The marriage is this Saturday.” He announced leaving me speechless while he walks out of my dad’s office…
