Dianna’s POV
“So? Shall we go back home now?” I asked
“And Owen’s ashes?” Ivan enquired
“I can always go scatter his ashes another day perhaps, the weather is really cold and am freezing” I said and Ivan quickly stood up
“The car is up ahead right?” he asked and I nodded
“Then let’s go” he said and removed his long thick jacket
“And take this” he said as he covered me up with the jacket and I smiled at him
“Don’t look at me like that, am not doing this for you, am only doing this for your baby, I can’t afford to let that little cousin of mine be cold” he said
“And why the explanation? I never said anything” I said
“Yeah, am only letting you know so you won’t feel touched and start acting all clingy” Ivan said and I laughed
“You are the one acting clingy now” I muttered
We got to the car and Ivan drove us back home
We walked into the Mansion and met Gia and Eric with Eva
“I didn’t expect you guys to get Eva so quickly” I said on seeing them
“That is because she came with us willingly” Eric said
“Don’t forget to mention that she only followed us after you told her there’s actually a spell that can be used to kill us” Gia said
“What?!” Ivan exclaimed “How would you tell Eva such an important secret and putting all our lives at risk?!”
“Exactly what I said” Gia nodded
“But brother…..”
“No matter how many times Eva has helped us in the past she only did that because she knew she couldn’t get rid of us and now you told her of a spell that can? Did you not realize she despise us and is not to be trusted?” Ivan said
“Maybe you guys are forgetting but you are all talking about me and am right here, hearing all of you” Eva said
“Eric was right for telling her” I said and they all looked at me
“Dianna!” Gia called
“How long would we have hid it Gia, she would have eventually found anyway so I think it’s good that we came clean now, so…” I moved closer to Eva
“I do not care if you plan on getting the spell and using it to end us yourself but that should be after you help us defeat Aria, when Aria Dixon is gone, then we can address what you want to do with the information you just acquired” I said
“Do not for one second make the mistake of thinking I came here to try and save you all from Aria Dixon, I’ve long realized that there’s no saving any of you, your souls are already damned, am only here for the only one of you that has a pure soul, your little baby, she’s the only one worthy of fighting for and since you have to be alive to give birth to her, I have no choice but to try and save your life too, even if I don’t want to” Eva said
“Fine” I nodded
“So let’s get to business shall we?” I said as I turned to Ivan
“Get the map” I said and he nodded walked off

“We have a map that constantly shows Aria’s location” I said as Ivan’s brought the map
“Right now, it show’s she’s at the Great Falls” Ivan said
“Great Falls? Where is that?” Gia asked
“It’s a waterfall, the biggest waterfall in Arcane County, it was rumored there was a cave behind the waterfall but it was never found because tourist claimed the waterfall was haunted so no one dared to go behind it, but I guess Aria Dixon is the ghost that haunted that waterfall, that is the place she has been her hiding place all this while” Eva stated
“Then you can take us there Eva, Aria is fond of always disappearing off when she feel she’s being cornered so you’ll have to conjure a boundary spell strong enough to stop her from disappearing like she always does” I said
“I can do more that, when we get there, rather than a boundary spell, I can cast a spell that will make Aria Dixon temporarily be unable to use her powers, she’ll be vulnerable like a human but I must warn you that it won’t last, as you all already know, Aria Dixon is a powerful witch, it will take a lot of my powers to cast such a spell and it will not last too long so while she’s unable to use her powers, you guys will have to get her before she breaks through my spell and get her powers back” Eva explained
“Fine, that won’t be much of a problem and I don’t think we should waste anymore time, we have the power of surprise right now, we should use it, we should all get ready” I said
“You not going Dianna” Ivan said
“What?!”
“You are not going with us” Ivan repeated
“You must be joking Ivan, we are talking about the Guardian of The Hell Gates here, she tried to kill everyone of us and she succeeded in killing Owen so I must kill her myself” I said
“By risking your baby’s life? You have gone far in your pregnancy now Dianna, you aren’t supposed to be even out of bed, and this fight? This is a fight to kill the Guardian Dianna, it’s definitely going to be risky so you’ll sit this one out, you aren’t coming with us and there’s no debating it” Ivan stated
“Ivan…..”
“He’s right sister, it is risky and for your baby’s sake, you should stay here where it’s safe” Eric supported
“I didn’t say this before but I once had a vision of you loosing your baby Dianna, I saw the blood flowing down your legs but my vision didn’t come to pass on your fight against the Guardian that day, but that doesn’t mean my vision will never come to pass, you should be careful Dianna, if you want your baby to see the light of the day, you have to start thinking of your baby’s wellbeing first before running off into a fight” Eva said
I glanced at Gia and the look on her face clearly shows she’s in support of everyone
“Fine” I sighed
I bent down and brought out a dagger from my boots and I moved towards Ivan
“This is the dagger that Aria Dixon used to end Owen’s life, I was going to do it myself but since I am now unable to go with you guys, promise me Ivan, promise me you’ll run this dagger through Aria Dixon’s heart” I said
“I know how much the death of Owen affected you but not to worry, Owen’s death shall be avenged tonight” Ivan said and collected the dagger from me
“This dagger shall be coated with Aria Dixon’s blood when I return it”…..

Dianna’s POV
I watched as Ivan, Eric, Gia and Eva walked out and I felt helpless
I should be going along with them
I had promised myself to make Aria pay for what she did to everyone of us especially Owen, she killed the father of my baby ridding my baby girl of the chance to meet her own father
But I have no choice but to remain here now, I have to be here for the safety of my baby girl
“They will not fail” I muttered
If there’s anything I have in common with my siblings, it is the constant urge to make those who stand against us stuffer
They will make Aria suffer, I trust them
Ivan’s POV
“This is the waterfall?” Eric asked as we approached a waterfall and Eva nodded
“Yes, the cave is said to be behind the waterfall so I hope you are ready to get yourself wet” Eva uttered
“Before we go” I said standing in front Eva
“I do not trust you Eva” I said and she scoffed
“That is not a problem, everyone knows the beastly Ivan Hammington trusts no one” Eva stated
“But each time I thought you were going to betray us and go against us, you prove me wrong each time, I hope you’ll prove me wrong this time too” I said
“Well lucky for you Ivan, proving people wrong is a hobby of mine” Eva smiled
“Shall we?” Eric asked and Gia nodded
“Let’s go” Gia said and we walked towards the waterfall
We walked behind the waterfall and found a cave but it was empty
“This is weird, the map said she’s right here” Gia said and Aria suddenly appeared behind her
“That’s right Gia, I am right here” Aria said as she quickly hit Gia with a strong blue light emanating from her hand and Gia fell to the ground unconscious
“No!!” Eric yelled as he ran towards Gia
“Eva now!!” I yelled and Eva began chanting her spell loudly as her eyes suddenly turned white
“What…. what are you doing?” Aria stuttered as she tried to use her powers but nothing came out of her hand
“It’s time for you to die” I said as I moved towards her with the dagger Dianna gave me
“This is for Owen” I said as I plunged the dagger deep into her chest and blood spurted out from her mouth and she fell to the ground
Eva stopped the spell collapsing on the ground
“I alright?” I enquired
“I feel exhausted but I’ll live” she said managing to stand up
“What’s….. what’s wrong with Gia?” Eric stuttered holding unconscious Gia in his arm
Eva moved towards her and examined her
“She got hit with a strong blue light from Aria right?” Eva asked and Eric nodded
“She pushed her into the death slumber, the same spell she had used on Dianna back then, she’s probably living her worst fears now” Eva explained
“But you said it back then when Aria casted the spell on Dianna, the only way to wake someone to from the death slumber is if the witch that casted the spell died, Aria is dead so why isn’t Gia awake?” Eric asked
“Because she’s not dead” I said as I moved close to Aria’s body
“She’s still breathing and….” I touched the dagger I had stabbed her chest with
“The dagger is slowly melting away”
“How the hell is that possible?” Eric asked
“Oh shit” Eva said as she moved closer to Aria and examined
“How could I not have anticipated this, all strong and evil witches do this”
“Do what?” I asked
“A caution spell or more like a life protection spell, it’s a very powerful spell that only few witches can cast, they transferred their life essence into an object we call a totem and as long as the totem is safe, they cannot be die no matter what is done to them” Eva explained
“So how do really kill her now and save Gia?” Eric asked
“We find the totem she has probably hidden somewhere, destroy it and then she’ll be vulnerable and you’ll be able to kill her” Eva stated
“Before we do that, we have to get her back to the Mansion, her dagger is melting and she’ll be awake soon, we’ll have to keep her subdued” I said as I lifted Aria up and Eric carried Gia too
Dianna’s POV
I stood outside the Mansion pacing around
Where are they?
I hope nothing goes wrong, I hope they succeed

A car suddenly approached the Mansion and my heartbeat increased, it is them
The car stopped right in front of me and Ivan and Eva stepped out of the front seats
“Why the hell are you outside?!” Ivan asked as Eric stepped out of the car with Gia’s unconscious body and Ivan went to the backseat and emerged with Aria’s body too
“What the bloody hell happened?” I asked as they rushed inside and I followed them
“Things didn’t go as planned” Eva stated
“Obviously, what happened to Gia?! And why is Aria like that? Is she not dead?” I asked
“Yes she’s not dead and before you ask more questions, where is the chain Sophie brought when Eric was hexed, the one that was able to surpress his powers” Ivan asked and I quickly went to get him the chains
“Here” I saw as I handed it over to him
Ivan collected it and used it to chain Aria’s hands
“Now explain” I said
“What the hell is wrong with my sister? Why is she like that?!”
“She got hit by Aria’s spell and she’s now in a death slumber” Eric said
“Death slumber?!” I exclaimed
“And why is Aria not dead when she obviously has a knife deep into her chest?” I enquired
“She had casted a life protection spell, she transferred her life essence into a totem hidden God knows where and for her to die, we’ll have to find that totem and destroy it first” Eva explained
“I had studied the map throughout out last night and I wondered why she was moving about a lot, she was probably trying to hide the totem” Ivan said
“I still remember the places she went last night, I’ll go to each of the places and looked around” Ivan stated
“Let me come with you” I said
“I’ll be faster alone” Ivan uttered
“Ivan…..”
“Look after everyone, and be careful of this witch when she wakes up” Ivan said and walked out
“When Dianna was in the death slumber before, you had put Gia inside her nightmare to try and wake her up” Eric said and Eva nodded
“Then put me inside her nightmare too Eva, I will wake her up from the death slumber” Eric stated
“It’s dangerous Eric, especially now that I am still weak from the spell I casted at the waterfall, I don’t know if I have enough strength to get you inside Gia’s slumber now” Eva said
“You have to try Eva, please, she is my twin sister and I’ll be damned if I let anything happen to her, help me save her please” Eric said as a tear roll down his face and my heart ached
We never asked to be cursed, we never asked to be immortal and we certainly never asked to be bestowed with power we cannot control so why? Why does this always happen to us?……
