CHAPTER 18 and 19.
.

“This mark, I have seen it multiple Times” Rosanne stated, her hand suddenly reaching for the mark on his highness back, and immediately her fingers came into contact with the beast mark of Orrander.

The crown prince got up in full speed, pinning her neck to the wall.

Rosanne eyes w¡den, with the sudden action, and she tried to catch her breath.

“Your… H..igh.. Ness” she tried to speak, pulling his hand away from her neck.

“Your highness!” she called again, and his furrowed brows softened, and slowly lets go to her, causing her to fall hærd on the concrete floor.

“Ahh…” Rosanne winced at the pain, giving his highness a little glare.

“I…i… Didn’t mean to” The prince stuttered.

“of course you did” Rosanne stood up, the expression on her face, wasn’t welcome at all…

“You passed out, while trying to help you wake, you suddenly got up and grabbed me by my neck, I don’t get why you always take out your anger on me and my neck, I’m sorry for ranting, but this is just what I feel your highness, I understand I am a mere servant but I do love the life I am living, if you want me out of here, I’ll gladly oblige” Rosanne bowed.

The crown remained quiet as he looked above her bowed head, he stood still before taking a turn and walking away.
Rosanne lifted up her head to see him leaving.
‘How arrogant!’ Rosanne thought, tsked and walked away.

Rosanne sat quietly in her room and watched the rain fall from her window. She suddenly recall Garam and how they always get drenched by the rain every single time.
She smiled to herself, and welcome the feeling of how she missed him.

Rosanne realised it was time to prepare lunch for his highness and she rolled her eyes.
Not for the fact, that it was something hærd to do, but for the crown prince’s attitude.

The rain stopped as Rosanne prepared lunch for his highness, and as she made it to his room this time, for the first time she did not quiver. She made herself predict for the worse that could happen.
As she got to the doorless room, she found his highness standing by the window and looking at the sky, not moving an inch.
She slowly walked in and placed the food on bed, she walked briskly to the door but paused when she heard his voice call out.

“You” The crown prince said.

“Y..yes your highness.” She replied her eyes fixated on the door.

“Avoid me” The crown prince stated.

‘What?’ Rosanne was confused.
“Do whatever you can to stay away from me and this top of the castle!” His voice sounded angry.
“But then, how do I get to serve you, or pass you your lunch or supper, if I avoid you!” Rosanne asked.

“let me starve then, you’d be doing me a favour by letting me starve and die” The crown prince scoffed.

Rosanne gasped. “No… I’d have my head cut off if I let you starve and then die, your highness, please do not speak ill of yourself”
Rosanne pleaded.

“Speak ill off myself?” The crown prince scoffed. “I am ill” he declared.

“I am an invalid, that is why I was discarded in this castle, for I’m not foolish, I know my parents are rulers of a certain kingdom and being their invalid son, they discarded me, I am ill, and I am aware that I am ill, do let me starve and let me die!” The prince stated, his voice thicker than ever.

“No. I cannot let you starve, if I do then, I won’t live either” Rosanne bowed.

“Just avoid me!” The crown prince yelled, his voice sending shivers down Rosanne spine, it startled her so much, she barely moved.

“I’m sorry… I can’t!” Rosanne rushed her words before walking out of the room.

Rosanne dropped to the floor at the last flight of stairs and placed her hand on her chest, he was so scary, how can she possibly avoid him, and then starve him to death? The king and queen wouldn’t hesitated to cut off her head and so as her father’s head.

And did he just call himself an invalid? An I’ll person? How in the world does he look like an invalid? Rosanne thought, as she got up again and walked down the stairs.

Rosanne noticed the sun was coming out, as rays of sunlight penetrated into her room.

He is ill? Well I can agree with that because he passes out every single time.
But to the extent of calling himself an invalid? How sick is he? He looks fine to me.
Rosanne squinted her eyes at her thoughts, she fell back on the bed and shook her head at her thoughts. She suddenly sighed when she recall his words…
‘for I’m not foolish, I know my parents are rulers of a certain kingdom and being their invalid son, they discarded me, I am ill’
She suddenly felt pity over the crown prince’s words.

“Is he always mad, because he’s cast away by his own parents? Is that why he’s always so angry?” Rosanne asked and sighed to herself.
“So pitiful” she clicked her tongue. “But I can’t avoid you, your highness, not after mentioning you being an invalid, though I may not know what is wrong with you but every invalid deserves better. Invalid deserves more than to be discarded, just like mother. So I’m sorry but your highness, I am going to treat you better from now on.” Rosanne sighed to herself.
And smiled to herself, proud of her sudden decision.

The crown prince stood alone, beside the window. Still watching the gloomy sky now parting and letting the sun out, he immediately stepped back immediately a ray of sunlight got into his room and immediately he closed the window shut, leaving the room in its dark state, and the way he liked it.

EPISODE 19
.
.
THE NEXT DAY Rosanne prepared a feast for breakfast, and as she got to serve the crown prince, she quietly stepped into the room, seeing him standing by the window, not moving or saying anything.
Rosanne quietly placed his food on his bed and walked out without saying anything.

She prepared his bath and after that cleaned the wh0le castle before going to her room to get her starving gut filled.
After having breakfast, Rosanne washed her self and changed into one of the dresses kept for her.
She walked outside the castle, smiling at the heavy and bright sun, she suddenly recalled the flower crown she was making at the garden behind the castle some days ago and decided to go complete it, at least it will kill her tedious time.

Sitted amongst the daffodils in the garden, silently making her flower crown, Rosanne wouldn’t stop smiling at how beautiful and talented she was at making flower crowns.

Should I open a flower crown making shop? Rosanne thought and laughed to her silly thought.

The crown prince moved to his window, a little glad the sun had moved to the south where it shone brightly on the garden and less on the castle.
The crown prince’s eyes never left Rosanne, as he watched her make her flower crown.
Suddenly he felt ‘Their’ presence.
“You!” the crown prince seethe, and turned to the person behind him.

“Get away from me” The crown prince added.

“Now, do not drive me away, for we are one” The person stated.

The crown prince Turned back to Rosanne and the person behind him smiled.

“She’s a beaut! But just like everyone else, she’s going to leave, she’s going to despise, hate, resent and fear us.”

“Shut up!!!” The crown prince yelled.

“No need to get worked up Hasting, it’s just the way it is, we will never be able to be among others but ourselves, we’ll always be the rejected, dejected and will be killed alas’ so why not kill every one of them before they make us feel invalid.”

“Leave me be!” The crown prince seethe.
“Just be yourself, stop trying to control yourself around her, welcome your loneliness, destroy her because, loneliness is our fate.”

“Loneliness can never be my fate” The crown prince growled gripping the window.

“it sure, everyone who has stepped foot here, resented you and always went against your words and that is why you gave them what they deserve, she is no better, we were doing better alone!”

Getting angry, the crown prince turned in anger, only to find no one behind him.
He turned back the garden and breathed out a sigh.
His eyes on Rosanne.

Suddenly he felt the presence again beside him.

“Now, you mustn’t go against our fate, you must end her, show her how brutal you can be, show how what you showed them!”.

“I do not want to be Lonley.” The crown prince breathed out heavily, his eyes brewing out tears.

“How pathetic, you don’t need others, you just need yourself, even your parents despise you, she can do more, you thinking she’s your only hope after murdering and driving everyone else away from here is pathetic, you can never get rid of us!”

“Please, leave me be!” The crown prince breathed out.

“Now wipe those silly tears off your eyes”.

The crown prince suddenly did as he was told.

“Now listen carefully… That girl down there is not any difference from the people you’ve annihilate, keep your guard up and show her the beast you are within, she once yelled back at you, how disrespectful!”

The crown prince’s jaw clenched and so did his fist, as he glared down at her.

“She disrespected me!” He muttered angrily through gritted teeth, glaring at Rosanne.

“Oh yes. Yes he did, the only person welcomed to us is mother, but definitely not her, we are this close to annihilating her, how dare she, yell back at us, and dare she, look down at us”

“How dare she look down at me!” The crown prince growled, his eyes red, and his brows furrowed.

“Yes, keep looking at her and remember the way she spoke harshly to you, do you think she deserves your sheerness, she doesn’t!”

“She doesn’t” The crown repeated, his body heating up.

Rosanne finished her second making of her flower crown, and suddenly felt the stare of his Highness.

She looked up at the window at the top of the castle to see his highness staring at her, more like glaring at her.

“Did I do anything wrong?” she thought, as she looked away.

I should be friendly. Rosanne thought, and like the last time, she slowly smiled at the crown prince before giving a wave.

Suddenly his eyes softened and his emerald eyes came into sight. His balled fist opened and his clenched jaw released.
‘She smiled… Again… He thought.

“What are you doing? Did you forget how she yelled back at you?”

“Just leave me alone!!!” The crown prince yelled so loud that Rosanne heard his voice from the garden.

She turned to see him out of sight from the window.

The crown prince sat on his bed and so did the presence.
“Why are you trying so hærd to let her live!”

The crown prince shut his eyes.

“Stop trying to push me away!”

“I am tired of living like this” The crown prince sighed.

“You’re living perfectly fine, they are te abnormal ones, they are the invalid ones, they keep making us feel like we are not needed. Kill them a…

“Get out of my head!” The crown prince pleaded.

“Get out of my head!!!” He cried out loud smashing a portrait on the floor.

Rosanne got up on her feet, her heard turning towards the crown prince’s Window.
“What is going on up there…” She thought, as she dropped the flowers and start to head in,side the castle.
