CHAPTER 76
*PRESENT DAY*
.
“Now after Tabitha saved your daughter’s life, eight years later, she had another drama, the mark returned to her shoulder causing her to encounter her first timer, and two years after her first one, she encountered her second one. What do you think that means?” Hildenmare asked Zackary.
“I do not know, but when the mark returned on her shoulder I know she was cursed again. Even though it left me in a state of bewilderment, I couldn’t process the wh0le thing, Tabitha died to free Rosanne from the curse, but the curse mark was back again.”
“The curse mark was back again but not the curse, and the only reason the curse mark would be back again is because of the one who woke her up today”.

“You mean the crown prince?” Zackary titled his head.
“Yes. For he would be the one responsible for making the mark reappear” Hildenmare replied.
“But how? They didn’t even know each other until recently.” Zackary shook his head.
“As long as they both live under the same sky Zackary, a lot of mystery will remain questioned. Now I must find out how your daughter is connected to the crown prince, what the sky is telling me is beyond what I can ever prophecy.” Hildenmare shook his head.
“What do you mean. What is the sky telling you?” Zackary asked.
“I cannot reveal it now, but something beyond our powers is coming, something big, something beyond Orrander. I have to leave now Zackary, but I promise to come back with more answers.” Hildenmare sighed.
“But I need to know about all this, why did the crown prince wake my daughter, the first time it happened to Rosanne it took you about an hour to get her to wake up, but with just a touch that boy woke my daughter up, I am indeed baffled by all these” Zackary complained.

“I shall get more answers be well, Zackary.” Hildenmare smiled before walking close to the door.

The horses slowed down as the carriage got to castle sylph and immediately the carriage stopped, Cornelius jumped out of it, to get the door for Rosanne and the crown prince.

“I’ll get it for him myself, thank you” Rosanne smiled as she stepped out of the, taking the door from Cornelius, and smiling at the crown prince as he stepped down.
Immediately his legs hit the ground, he stormed away and into the castle in light speed.

“Rosanne…” The Queen called before stepping out of the carriage.
“Your Highness.” Rosanne bowed.
“I cannot thank you enough” the queen smiled. “You brought hasting out of this shell, because of you, he came to Orrander and I cannot thank you enough for that.”

“It is definitely nothing your Highness, I am just doing my best as his loyal servant” Rosanne added.
“It is more than i could ever ask for. Now I do now know what happened this morning, but I ask you continue to work for Hasting here in sylph and you will be paid in ten folds.” The Queen beamed.
“It will be an honor to keep working” Rosanne bowed with a small smile.
“Good, now I must head back to Orrander.”

“Your journey will be written safe”

“Thank you dear Rosanne.” And with one last smile, The Queen smiled, before stepping back into the carriage.

Rosanne watched as the carriage took a turn as the coachman had directed it, and before she knew it, the carriage went out of sight.

Breathing out a heavy sigh, she gazed at castle sylph for more than a minute before taking a massive step towards the wooden door.
As her hand tried to move the lock to open the door, her eyes suddenly dart to the letter box on the wall, and her l-ips curved up into a smile, she recalled how she had always run up to the green box to place letters the crown prince has written for her.
She was back at castle sylph and one side of her isn’t as excited as she was supposed to be. She didn’t hate it there, she just missed Orrander.
Stepping into the ball room, Rosanne was shocked when she saw the crown prince pacing around the room.
“Your Highness.” She called, and took a glance at his shirtless body, how he couldn’t wait to take the body invisible fabric off.
The crown prince paused and turned to her, raising his brows.

“You do remember your room is at the top of the castle” Rosanne leaned forward.

“I do remember” replied the crown prince.

“Then why are you here, in the ball room, you always go to your room.” Rosanne gave a nervous laugh, not to sound like she was sending him away.
“For some annoying reason I do not want to go to my room now.” The crown prince shook his head.

“What… Reason?” Rosanne asked.

“I do not know.” He shrugged.
“Well then… You can just stay here.” Rosanne smiled. “And I’ll just stay here too” she added sitting on the dusty floor.
Not saying anything and feeling the crown prince’s eyes on her. Rosanne wanted to leave for her room, but knew that was impossible, for lately the crown prince has been wanting her around, more than usual. And he clearly doesn’t want her to leave, if he wanted her to leave, he would have told her to leave ages ago.

“So…” Rosanne finally spoke up, breaking the silence.
“What?” The crown prince snapped, frightening Rosanne.
“Nothing! Castle sylph is surely… Surely a boring place to be. I’ve come to realise”

The crown prince glared at her.
“I am saying nothing but the truth your Highness.” Rosanne swallowed.

Saying nothing for another minute almost killed Rosanne, as she is someone with a busy body, she wanted to move around, ask questions, see how the garden was doing, sing all day and make flower crowns.
” Your Highness. ” Rosanne cleared her throat after realizing she couldn’t stay bored, and after recalling Martha from last night.
“Do you want to hear a story?” She asked.

“Why?” The prince retorted.
“No reason, I would like to hear what you think about it” Rosanne swallowed.
The crown prince said nothing, but lets out an hesitant nod, causing Rosanne to smile.
