Rhoda’s pov 👠

LA city hospital…

Giggling… Murmuring… Heads turning towards me as I walked into the hospital.

Some nurses are pointing at me and talking in hushed voices..but I can tell they aren’t talking bad about me.

I wonder what they’re talking about, ignoring them I hear towards my office.

A few steps away from my office, I halt when I saw Raymond standing outside my office with flowers in his hands…he looked like he’s nervous.

A smile tugged the corner of my l-ips, he must have come to apologize for upsetting me last night..I sighed and walked towards him.

“Raymond!” I called him.

He faced me and smiled, he stretched the flowers to me.

“Good morning, beautiful” he greeted me.

“Good morning…but what are you doing here so early? You’re on night duty…right?”

I collected the flowers from him and he grinned widely, I search for my keys and opened the door.

“I wanted to apologize for last night, it’s wasn’t my intention to question how you take care of Bill…”

He’s never change all these years, always taking the blame for my overreaction..silly boy!

“… it’s just.. he’s my only child and I’m concerned about him, I know you are very busy and you always try your best to care for our son..I’m very grateful to you for that…”

He’s doesn’t know I’ve already made up my mind…I should just let him rant for a few minutes.

“…I’m here now, you don’t have to put so much pressure on yourself, we can both do this together…even if you don’t take me back, I’ll still be here for you and Bill. I’ll….”

Ok… I’ve heard enough. I put my finger on his l-ips and shut him up..I took a deep breath.

“Last night wasn’t your fault, I overreacted and I’m sorry….”

“No, no, it’s wasn’t your fault, it was mine”

I glared at him and slapped his chest lightly.

“Stop taking blame for me, I did wrong and I’m sorry…also, I’ve thought about it..what happened years ago wasn’t your fault either, I guess it’s high time I let bygones be bygones and move forward”

He stared at me, wondering what I wanna say next…I can see his chest rising and falling, he must be praying I don’t tell him to disappear from our lives forever.

“I’m willing to give us a chance, let’s start afresh” I said.

“Huh?” His mouth slightly open as he stared at me unbelievably.

I smiled, I leaned forward and plant my l-ips on his…I k-ssed him briefly and pulled away.

“I’m your girlfriend again…but don’t waste time in engaging me this time to avoid another set up..else, I won’t ever forgive you!”

That been said, I rushed into my office and shut the door quickly, feeling quite embarrassed at my attention…I rest my back against the door.

“I swear, Rhoda, I’ll be the best man for you this time…I’m gonna prove myself to you this time…I swear, I won’t fail you and our son…I love you! I love you so much! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you my love!”

He continue chanting as his footsteps fades away…

I guess the wh0le hospital already figured out there’s something going on between us..even before there’s actually something going on.

Anastasia’s pov 👠

“Let’s go there, I wanna speak with Jack”

“What?!” Matilda exclaimed.

She stared at me as if I’ve gone crazy, she reached forward and felt my temperature.. she frown.

“Are you high on drugs? Are you even listening to yourself right now?” She asked.

“Tilda, I know what you’re gonna say.. but Jack doesn’t look like a bad person, I wanna speak with him… ”

“Shh” she cut me off. “Do you know you’ll be endangering your life if you go out now?”

Jerry came back with two sprites and a bottle of water, he handed the bottle water and a sprite to me.. then handed the other sprite to Matilda.

“Thank you, Jerry” we both said.

“You’re welcome, ladies!”

He moved over to side table and started tidying up Matilda’s makeup.. we kinda scatter them all over the place.

“Tasia, calm down and think carefully, Mr Statham has spent so much time and efforts to get his plan to this stage… Let’s not do something that will sabotage it”

“But…”

“Anastasia, even if you wanna see Jack, wait for Mr Statham.. it’ll be better if you’re both together”

Yeah… She’s right! I have also promised Klaus that he’ll go with me to see Jack.. if I go on my own he’ll be very angry and who knows what will happen then.

It’s best I listen and wait for Klaus.

“Please, Tasia, let’s not act on our own”

I nod.

“Fine.. but let’s do something else, I don’t wanna be bored”

She smiled at my reply and lets out a breath I didn’t know she was holding.. I guess she was secretly praying I’d agree to stat home.

“How about we play a game?” She suggested.

I wanted to agree but my stomach suddenly starts growling loudly…I laughed.

“How about we eat something first.. I feeling quite hungry” I said.

She nod and got up, she stretches out her hand and I took it, she pulled me up.

“What do you wanna eat? I can make it” Jerry said from where he’s tidying up.

“Don’t worry, we’ll be fine on our own” I said.

He dropped the duster he was holding and rushed to us, he blocked me from moving toward the kitchen.

Matilda and I exchange looks, I turned back to Jerry with a raised eyebrow.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

“Before master left, he instructed me not to let you enter the kitchen.. he also said I shouldn’t let you do anything stressful” he said.

I sighed and shake my head.

“Don’t worry, this is something we can handle”

“I’m afraid, I can’t let you in the kitchen”

I narrowed my eyes at him, he looked away from me but doesn’t move away from my way.

“If you wanna force your way in, I’m afraid, I’ll have to call Mr Statham and inform him about this” he said.

Is he threatening me? I snatched my phone from the table and dialed Klaus’ number.

“I’m calling him right now”

I showed it to him, he nodded and we waited for Klaus to pick up.. soon, he picked up.

“Hello, I received a call from the most gorgeous girl in the world.. to what do I owe this pleasure?” He asked.

Well, there’s no need beating around the bush.. I should just go straight to the point.

I cleared my throat softly, to make my words smooth.

“Klaus, did you instruct Jerry not to let me into the kitchen?” I asked in a very tender and soft tone.

Jerry and Tilda stared at me with a surprise expression, they must be wondering how I manage to change my voice with a snap of a finger.

“Yes, I told him that” he replied.

“But why? I’m hungry now and he wouldn’t let me in the kitchen” I whined pouting my l-ips.

So bad he’s not here to see me now, he’d have given in already.. but I’m not gonna give up so easily.

“Baby, I’m doing this for you and our ba… ”

He cut himself off and cleared his throat.

“I’m doing this for your safety” he said.

“I’ll be fine, Matilda is here too”

“No, tell Jerry what you wanna eat he’ll cook it for you”

I eyed Jerry and huffed mentally.

“I wanna eat some fruits cake.. Jerry can’t make it to my taste, I wanna make it myself”

He sighed.

“Baby, Jerry can make anything, just tell him you need fruit cake and he’ll make it”

Hmm, I guess begging him won’t work on him…. emotional blackmail is the only way out this time.

“.. ok? Just let him make it for you.. ”

I cut him off with a sniffling sound, I pout my mouth more.

“Baby, are you crying?”

“You’re making me feel like a handicap, I just wanted to bake some cake.. I just… ” I pretend to choke on my tears.. tears that aren’t even coming down.

Matilda simply stared at me with her mouth wide open.. like she can’t believe what’s going on right now.

“You don’t have to cry, he’ll… ”

“Fine! Since you don’t want me to bake my cake, I’ll just starve myself!”

“No, no, no, no… don’t starve” he paused.

I smirked, like I said earlier, emotional blackmail is the best option.. he took a deep breath.

“Fine, bake your cake but be careful not to get scald!” He said in a firm voice.

I break into a smile.

“Thank you, thank you, I love you… Muah!”

He chuckled.

“I love you more… ”

I heard a sound of a door being shut in the background, I guess someone just entered his office.

“… baby, I have to go now, Claudia’s here” he said in a whisper and hang up.

Claudia! Claudia! Claudia! Her name has been trending on Klaus’ l-ips since last night… I can’t wait for this plan to succeed.

The sound of Matilda clapping brought me out of my land of jealousy.

“Wow! I didn’t know you could be this manipulating.. respect! You’ve earn my respect!” She said.

I laughed at her words, I turned to Jerry and arched a brow at him.

“So.. what now?” I asked.. daring him to block my way.

“This way, please!” He said and leads me towards the kitchen.. as if I don’t know where it is.

Matilda followed us.

Statham enterprise….

Without knocking, Claudia pushed the door opened and rushed into Nicklaus’s office.

Nicklaus was very fast, he hanged up his call and dropped his phone before Claudia could get close to him.

“Nicky, you wanna see me?” She asked.

Nicklaus nod. “Yes, I have something very important to discuss with you”

She went behind him, her hands on his shoulders and she started m-ssaging him.. Nicklaus doesn’t like it, but he called her for a purpose.

And he would whatever it takes to achieve his purpose.. he smiled and take her hand, he pulled her onto his laps.

His hands encircling her wa-ist, which made Claudia’s face goes red as she blushed very hærd.

Seeing this as an opportunity, she k-ssed Nicklaus’s temple.. Nicklaus closed his eyes and gulped.

*If Nina finds out about this, I’ll be dead* he grumbled mentally.

“So.. what do you wanna discuss with me?” Claudia asked.

Nicklaus cleared his throat.

“Well, since I arrived at the office, I have been thinking about our future.. you know, we’re getting married soon, right?”

“Yeah” she replied.

Nicklaus pulled down the zipper on her skirt and puts his hand under her blouse.. and started drawing lines on her stomach.

“Since we’re getting married soon, I decided high time I handover everything I own to you”

Claudia’s eyes lit up, she smiled brightly at Nicklaus, which he simply nods at in return.

“You want to handover everything you own to my name?” She asked.

“Yes, I mean, after we get married we’ll become one…”

While he’s explaining, Claudia is busy thinking about all the things she’d be in control of… including Statham enterprise..

*Everything will be mine! And I’ll have equal right with Nicklaus in this company!* She thought.

“…we’ll share everything together, so, why not start now?” Nicklaus concluded his words.

“Are you serious about transferring your assets to my name?”

“Yeah”

She gaped, her eyes move around the office as she imagine she’s seeing the wh0le company right in front of her.

“This is too good to be true” she said.

“But it’s true, I’m damn serious!” Nicklaus replied. “All you have to do is…”

He trailed off and opened a file in front of him, he placed a pen on it and smiled at Claudia.

“…you just have to sign this doc-ment and everything I have will be yours too!”

She stopped smiling and stared at Nicklaus with a frown as a thought crosses her mind.

*What if he’s lying? What if he wants to play some tricks…I need to be careful*

Claudia cupped his face in her hands, Nicklaus frowned as he wonders what she’s up to.

She stared in his eyes and searched his eyes if she could see any trace of lie… but Nicklaus is keeping a neutral expression.

She couldn’t read his thoughts or guess what he’s thinking!

“How can I be sure you’re saying the truth?” She asked.

Nicklaus suddenly understand that she’s having doubts, he thinks about it and figured his acting wasn’t real.

He needs to do something very intimate with her to show he’s serious…he gulped and mentally gag!

“How can I be sure this isn’t a trick, Nicky?” She asked him again.

Nicklaus cleared his throat.

“You can ask me to do anything!” Nicklaus grit out.

“Really?! I should ask you to do anything?!”

Nicklaus nod…she smirked at him, she grabbed his hand under her blouse and pushed it up.. placing it on her br-ast.

He s-cked in some air, he shuts his eyes and grimace.

“k-ss me… rom-nce me!” She said.

“Huh?” Nicklaus asked as if he didn’t hear her the first time.. or maybe he’s trying to confirm what he heard.

“What? You didn’t hear me? Or you just don’t wanna do it?”

Nicklaus clenched his jaw, he’s k-ssed only one woman in his 27years on earth and he had promised her not to k-ss another woman… But now…

“You said you want to transfer all your assets to my name.. but you find it how to k-ss me? How am I supposed to believe you?”

*I’m sorry, Nina, I have to do this.. for my plan to work!*

“You want me to believe if I sign this doc-ment.. you want me to believe we’ll be one but you can’t even….”

Nicklaus pulled her head down and crashed his l-ips on hers, cutting her off.

His hand resting on her br-ast grabbed it tightly and gave it a squeeze.. Claudia mo-ned softly.

Nicklaus’s k-ss was hesitant and Claudia could feel it, she wanted an urgent and possessive k-ss.. so she took control.

She k-ssed him quickly and urgently, dipping more and more into the k-ss.. Nicklaus couldn’t feel love in her k-ss.

All he could feel was urgency, like she’s been craving to k-ss him.. which he wasn’t surprised about since she’s obsessed with him.

Claudia breaths heavily since she’s putting so much efforts into the k-ss.

She grabbed Nicklaus’s hand on her br-ast and moved it to her lower body, she tried to shove his hand in her p-nty… but Nicklaus withdrew his hand quickly and broke the k-ss.

“Claudia, Claudia… Let’s slow down” he said.

Claudia frown in disappointment.

“Slow down? Why are we slowing down?” She asked.. her voice sounded a bit frustrated.

He think of what lie to tell now, then he suddenly remembered what Aunt Bell usually say about premarital s£x…he laughed mentally.

“I promised my mom, that I wouldn’t have premarital s£x with my wife before our wedding”

“Why?” She asked.

“Because I wanna deflower my wife on our matrimonial bed!”

Claudia’s frown deepens, she’s very disappointed right now.

“I know what you’re thinking, yes, I don’t go to church.. but my mom is a regular church goer, she always make sure I promise her to be good.. so, let’s until our wedding before I touch you”

“But… ”

Nicklaus placed his forefinger on her l-ips and hushed her.

“It’s just a few days away from our wedding, let’s wait until then.. please, do this for me, I don’t wanna break the promise I made you my mom.. ok?”

Claudia bites her lower lip and reluctantly nod her head, she hugged Nicklaus instead.. resting his head on her br-asts which made Nicklaus grimace again.

“Well, now that you’ve seen I’m ready to be with you.. how about you sign the doc-ment and then you’ll be my next of kin”

Claudia smiled and quickly picked the pen.. she placed it on the signature column.

“I’m happy you finally saw that I’m the one for you”

“Yeah, I didn’t know how I allowed myself to be bewitched by her” Nicklaus said.. hatred dripping every word he spoke.

Just when Claudia was about to sign it, the door burst open and a clapping sound was heard.

Nicklaus clenched his jaw and lift his head, Claudia also raised her head and quickly jumped off Nicklaus’s laps.

*Busted!* Nicklaus growled in his head.

Claudia started adjusting her clothes…and her hair.

“Wonderful.. I didn’t know you’d both improve so fast!”

Nicklaus and Claudia exchange looks then turned to the person leaning against the door…with a smirk on his face.

“D-dad!”

“Benjamin?”
