I stare at this man in front of me as he says these words. I hate to admit how he makes me feel. I part my l-ips to say something but nothing comes out. Judah smirks, satisfied of my reaction as he turns to leave. I watch him go to his kitchen and I follow.
He pulls out a cancer stick and lights it without once looking at me. A cloud of smoke surrounds him. I don’t fancy smokers but Judah makes everything looks perfect.
” I… uh… I wanted to…. You know…” shit, why am I stuttering.
Judah chuckles and turns to look at me flicking the ash on the ashtray that sits on his counter. He puts back the stick in his mouth and walks to my shuddering form. He grabs the hem of my hoodie and pulls me to him.
” We can make this easy for us.” He says with the stick in his mouth. I want to run my hands down his tousled locks but I fight back the urge.
I’m startled as Judah wraps his arms around my wa-ist and sits me on his counter. He slowly parts my legs and stands in between them. I’m getting w-t. His eyes bores into my soul and I’m getting nervous. He’s gonna be the death of me if I don’t stay away from him. I badly want to stay away but I can’t.
He trails his forefinger on my neck down my collarbone and to my chest. My breathing is heard as he trails it slowly to my cle-vage through my hoodie.
He stops and pulls out the cigarette and spurs the smoke at the opposite direction.
” We can make this easier for the both of us.” He says and I just watch and admire how green his eyes are. How did he get those?
” Easier? How?”
” We want same thing. Me deep in,side of you, making you mo-n my name. You want that. We could make this wish come true by making it easy for the two of us. No strings attached.”
Woah. No strings attached? Like two friends f-cking each other? Friends with benefits? He’s right though. The part of him making it easier for the both of us. I bet he’s talking about not falling in love with him.
” No strings attached?” I ask him.
He pulls out the stick, blows out the smoke and tucks my hair behind my ear. His right hand stays on my wa-ist and he drops the cigarette on the ashtray and wraps his arms around my wa-ist.
” You’re scared?”
” Judah, no strings attached isn’t part of what i want.”
” What do you want?” He whispers.
” I…” I trail off.
I sigh.” I don’t know.”
” I don’t want you to fall in love with me. You will regret it and you know it.”
” I don’t wanna fall in love with you. I don’t even know what I want.”
He shrugs and steps away from me to light another cigarette.
” Love is something I don’t want to get myself involved with. We could just f-ck each other and live in the moment. We’re both attracted to each other. We want each other , why not give in?” He says without staring at me.
What the f-ck is wrong with him?
I mean if I’m willing to give in to Judah which I want to , he’s gonna be my first man. How do people have s€× without feelings attached. Emotionless s€× is what I don’t even want. What if I end up having feelings for him, he’s right I’m just gonna end up hurt.
I hop down from the counter.
” I’m not sleeping with you, Judah.”
” Says a girl with 0.2% self control.” He chuckles and looks at me. His annoying smirk so evident.
” You’re so annoying.”
” And you know it’s true. I make you w-t without even touching. Now imagine me f-cking you.” He smirks and looks away.
” Okay, that’s enough. Enough with the s€× word, it’s disgusting. There’s something I really need to ask you.”
He nods his head and sits on his stool.
” Go on. Don’t ask me personal questions, I won’t answer.”
I scoff. “I really wanna know about your business with Todd’s father, Albert. What type of job did you do for him?”
” That’s a personal question.”
” Judah, you’re not getting it. His he a murderer?”
Judah chuckles silently and toss his cigarette away.
” He’s not. He’s a bad person but don’t have the balls to kill anyone.” He says.
” What about hiring someone? Like an assassin? Hitman?”
Judah scoffs, clearly irritated. ” He can’t. Albert is a chicken.”
I open my mouth to ask another question but his front door opens. Hero walks in. He looks more better than I can imagine, with his brown jacket, black T-shirt, black p-nts, black boots and tousled hair. He smiles at me when he sees me with Judah in his kitchen.
” Did I interrupt something?” He asks and stares at us.
I roll my eyes. ” Not really, I’m about leaving.” I say and flash Hero a small smile and leave.
I shut Judah’s front door and go to my apartment. Today s-cks. I changed my clothes and put on my nightdress before going to bed. My mind drift to Judah’s s€× proposal and I hate myself for wanting to give in. Friends with benefits huh?

I angrily smack my alarm the next morning and squint my eyes to open. Damn, it’s so bright I forgot I had to go to school. I hop out of bed and scurry to the bathroom. After making myself look alife, I go through my closet for anything simple at all. I settle for a hoodie and p-nts and with sneakers. I don’t really feel the vibe of going to school today. Maybe because I dreamt about Judah invading my dreams.
Few minutes later I arrive at school. I stop by at the cafe opposite college to buy coffee.
” Serena.” Thomas greets me. He just entered.
” Hey.” I smile at him and pay for my coffee.
” You’re buying?”
” Yeah.” He turns to the waitress.” Cappuccino, please, and thanks.” Thomas says and smiles at the waitress. She nods and starts brewing his coffee.
” You’ve seen Chloe?” I ask.
” She’s already at school. She texted me earlier actually.”
” Damn.” I mutter.
” You don’t look like someone who had a good night. You’re okay?”
” Yeah, I’m good. A little sick. Thursdays aren’t my day.” I scrunch my face and Thomas chuckles.
The waitress hands Thomas his coffee and pulls out the bill from his pocket. I look outside the cafe and something catches my attention. Todd’s Maserati. The door opens and Summer hops out with Todd. I wait for Dawson or maybe Matt or precisely the crew to get out of his car but no they don’t. Which means it’s just the two of them.
” Your boyfriend.” Thomas says behind me.
I blink my eyes and look away.
” I don’t know…” I trail off.
” They are just friends Serena. Good ones I think. Summer had been friends with Todd ever since their break up.”
Break up? What the hell is going on around me that I don’t even take note of.
” What?” I ask Thomas.
” Shit, I’m sorry I shouldn’t have said that. I thought you knew. Goddamnit, Tom.” He scolds himself as we walk out of the Cafe.
” Can you rephrase? They dated?” I ask as we approach school’s gate.
” Uh…”
” Hey babe.” I’m greeted with a pair of strong hands that engulf me in a hug.
” Hi Todd.” I fake a smile. I look behind him and see Summer. I still don’t know why she’s bringing up her nasty attitude.
” I’m just gonna go in,side.” Summer tells Todd and walks away.
” Who’s this?” Todd asks with an irritated voice.
” He’s my friend Todd, you should be nice to him.” I tell him. He scoffs.
” Why is he with you by the way?”
” Why are you with Summer?” I ask him instead. He looks at me like he’s taken aback or something.
” Um… I’m just gonna leave. See ya later, Serena.” Thomas is already leaving as he says that.
I glare at Todd.
” He is my friend Todd. That wasn’t acceptable.”
” I’m just surprised at your choice of question. What I was doing with Summer?”
” Yeah, something wrong that I asked. You gave her a ride, right?” I ask Todd as he watches.
” Yeah, I did. She’s my friend, something wrong with that?”
I badly ask him about Summer being his ex. How come nobody told me this. That my supposed friend once dated my boyfriend. I bet Summer already slept with the entire school. F-cking cunt.
” I’m running late for class, can we start leaving?” I ask him.
He smiles and intwine our hands together as we enter school premises.

Todd and I slide into the booth Summer is sitting on. I made sure I sit at the edge to make sure I don’t sit close to Summer. She makes me want to rip out her hair extensions and beat the shit outta her. Each time I think about what she did to Chloe, it’s just makes me dislike her more.
” Sup, Serena.” Bree giggles. I smile at her.
” You guys back together?” Dawson asks.
” Yeah.” Todd says and k-sses my hair. God I badly wanna get the hell out of here. I missed Chloe and Tom already. And I need to talk to Thomas about Summer and Todd.
” Wow. This is just too perfect. I thought Todd was serious though. We thought he was leaving you for real.” Matt says.
” And what the f-ck is that supposed to mean?” Todd asks as he glares at Matt.
” F-ck, nothing. It’s nice you guys are back.”
” Yeah, right. Who dates a guy for three and a half month without letting him touch her? If I’m allowed to say, the bitch is f-cking inhuman.” Summer says.
Bree swallows as they stare at Summer.
” Yeah, yeah, same way you f-cked my boyfriend and every other d*cks in college, you f-ckin slut.” I tell her.
Summer cringe at once as she glares at me.
” How dare you?” She yells at me.
People already stop eating as they stare at us.
” Babe, what’s that supposed to mean? Are you accusing me of cheating on you with Summer?” Todd asks.
” I’m leaving.” I stand on my feet and pick up my bag as I turn to leave.
I barge into someone as I stop, ready to apologise to whoever it is. I’m met with this familiar green eyes. And he looks so damn good.
” You wanna get out of here?” Judah asks.
I turn to look at the restaurant through the glass wall and Todd is glaring at me, including Summer. Without thinking twice, I’m leaving with Judah.
