ALS≈QUINN’S ROOM

Quinn applied the lip gloss on her lips as she stood in front of the mirror,her mind suddenly went to Finn,his soft lips on his own is all she could think of. She immediately moved back from the mirror and swallowed

‘He’s your brother Quinn,your brother’ she said inwardly and sighed out

She was still standing there when the door burst open,Angelique entered

“How do I look?” She asked,turning around in front of Quinn

“We are going to eat,not a date” Quinn scoffed and Angelique frowned

“Now it’s hard to tell me how I look….”

“You look pretty” Erica came in and Angelique smiled

“Thanks” She muttered with a flushed face

“Can we go now? I’m starving” Quinn said as she walked out

“You’re not the only one hungry babe,come on” Angelique stomped her feet on the floor as she followed her

Erica’s eyes were on her,she kept smiling as she watched her acting cute.

They all left the mansion

“I thought we are taking the car” Erica called after them

“Nope,I want to feel the natural breeze” Angelique said

“Not like we are going far,there’s a restaurant just down the school right?” Quinn asked

“Yeah” Erica nodded

They got to the restaurant after few minutes

“Whoa,it’s my first time here” Erica said,looking around

“Oh.. is that not Finn?” Angelique pointed and they turned to see Finn and his friends eating together,Quinn’s eyes met with Otto’s own,Finn’s was the one backing them so he didn’t see them.

Toby waved at Quinn and that was when Finn turned,the girls sat down and a waitress came over to them.

“Evening girls” She smiled

“Hey” Angelique grinned and Erica scoffed

“Fried rice and chicken please” Quinn said

“Okay,how about you two?” The waitress asked

“Same thing” Angelique said

“Me too” Erica added

“Okay,I will be back” The waitress smiled and walked away

Some group of girls suddenly walked into the restaurant but as soon as they sat down,one of them recognized Finn and she gasped out

“Finn!” She screamed and Finn looked up

“Wow,Harley” he also called with a smile playing on his lips,he got up and the girl hugged her tightly

Quinn rolled her eyes

‘Does she have to hug him that tight?’ She thought,the girl and his friends joined them

Quinn suddenly hissed

Angelique and Erica looked up at once

“What happened?” Erica asked and Quinn blinked

“Oh….that was…nothing” she bite her lips

“But you hissed” Angelique said

Quinn was about talking when the waitress returned with their orders

“Enjoy” She winked before leaving

Quinn looked at Finn again,he seems to enjoy the girl’s company and the most annoying thing is,the so called Harley wouldn’t stop touching and smiling at him.

She rolled her eyes and started eating.

CRYSTAL BUILDING

“Wow,Valentino look at that” Vanessa pointed at the most brightest star among the others

“That’s Sirius” Valentino said and Vanessa looked at up

“Sirius?” She asked and Valentino nodded

“It’s derived from a Greek word Seirios which means glowing,you can see it’s the most luminous star there,I think the name suits it” Valentino said

“Wow,never knew you’re this smart” Vanessa chuckled before returning her eyes back to the star

“What do you think of me? A dumbass?” Valentino asked

“No,a spoilt brat who think the world revolves around him,a silly playboy who think all girls are the same and a jerk who I hate so much that I don’t wanna have anything to do with” Vanessa said and there was silence until Valentino spoke up

“Then….what about now?” He asked

“Maybe I no longer hate you,but you’re still the silly playboy I know” Vanessa said and Valentino smiled

“At least the hate is gone,that’s enough for me” he muttered

Vanessa almost talked but was interrupted by the sudden light which covered them up

“Who are those!!” A deep voice asked

Valentino and Vanessa exchanged glances and Valentino winked at her,she understood immediately and they both took to their heels

“Stop right there!” The security man yelled,running after them but they already entered the elevator

“Wait,what if they catch us at the entrance?” Vanessa asked

“They won’t,just trust me” Valentino said

“Fine” Vanessa muttered

After few minutes,they got to the last floor

“Stop right there…..”

Valentino grabbed Vanessa’s hand and they ran out of the building immediately,panting heavily when they finally got to the car

“Are you okay?” Valentino asked

“That was quite fun” Vanessa said breathlessly

Valentino arranged her scattered hair

“Thanks” She muttered

They were about going into the car when suddenly they heard the loud car horn and they both turned to see two cars behind Valentino’s car.

“Who are they?” Vanessa asked

A guard came out of one of the cars and went to open the door,Mrs Tucker came out of the car and Vanessa looked at Valentino but his eyes was only on his mom who had a super cold expression on her face as she stared at them

“What are you doing here??” She asked Valentino and then looked at Vanessa

“With her” she completed

“Why are you here?” Valentino questioned back and Mrs Tucker frowned

“Is this the reason why you’ve turned deaf ears to my calls….”

“No mom…”

“Get in the car” She cut him off

“Mom please not now….”

“Get in the car right now” Mrs Tucker snapped angrily

“Don’t worry,I will find my way back to school” Vanessa said and let go of Valentino’s hand

Valentino tried going into his car

“No…here” Mrs Tucker said,pointing at her own car

Valentino entered the car grumpily and Mrs Tucker moved closer to Vanessa

“I see you’re the pest here,but it will be nice if you stay away from my son,you’re not in any way suitable for him,is that understood?” She said and walked to the door,the driver drove off and then another guard drove Valentino’s car behind them.

Vanessa sighed out loud,soon she got a taxi and also left the place.

ALS≈9PM

Vanessa walked into the school,it was already getting so cold and she was in a hurry to get to the hostel mansion. As soon as she entered the compound,she saw Giovanni just about going out but he stopped when he saw her.

“Giovan……” Vanessa couldn’t finish when he rushed to her and hugged her tightly,leaving her speechless. He held her so tightly as if she was running away,she could hear his cold breaths on her neck and he was almost choking her.

“Vanni” She managed to call him and he broke the hug,his hand on her shoulders

“I’ve been waiting for you….”

“Why?” Vanessa asked

“I saw you leaving the school with Valentino,and I was worried” Giovanni muttered and Vanessa smiled

“You don’t have to be worried,I’m fine” she said

“I can’t help it” Giovanni said and hugged her again

Vanessa hugged him back this time,her head resting on his chest,he’s actually taller and muscular than Valentino,did she just noticed?? Maybe because she only hugged Valentino recently and now she could feel the difference.

The hug lasted much longer than expected before Giovanni finally let her go

“If you want to go anywhere….just tell me,please” he said and Vanessa nodded

“I missed you,seriously” Giovanni said and Vanessa chuckled

“I will see you tomorrow…goodnight” she waved at him

Giovanni smiled and kissed her cheek before she finally went in. He run his fingers into his hair and then left. He just couldn’t take his mind from fact that she actually went out with Valentino,since when did they started going out together? The last time he checked,she hated him right? So what the h*ll happened??

THE TUCKER’S MANSION

Valentino walked into the house with his mom,she suddenly turned back and he stopped walking,she was glaring at him so angrily that he wouldn’t dare talk to her right now.

“It’s her right? The girl I met at the restaurant the last time” She asked and Valentino nodded

“So she’s the reason why you’ve been ignoring my calls?…”

“She’s just a friend…..” A slap landed on his face before he could finish

Valentino looked up into her eyes

“How dare you ditch your own mother to follow a girl!!” She yelled

“She’s not the reason why I’ve been ignoring your calls mom!! She’s not!” Valentino shouted back

“Are you seriously raising your voice at me??” She asked

“I’m……sorry” Valentino muttered

“You should be thinking of a way to get a better life out of your craziness! Do you think everything you have is from someone else?!! Do you even know how that useless father of yours looks like?! I’ve been taking care of you all alone but still you never listen to me! You’re just as useless as your father!!!” She yelled

Valentino squeezed his fist

“You know what? This doesn’t suit you,smiling,having fun and being flirty with a girl is not for you Valentino Tucker,you looked so ugly smiling at that girl,you shouldn’t be doing that,I was f**king disgusted,it makes you look so shameless and crazy,you have no time for that right now son,don’t be mistaken,you’re the future of Tuckers Group so stop being a puppy and get a damn life!” She said and walked away,her heels making sounds with each steps she takes.

Valentino stood there for some minutes before going upstairs

He sat on the bed and finally allowed the tears he’s been holding to roll down his eyes but he wiped it off almost immediately before laying on the bed,staring at the ceiling till his eyes went closed.

11AM

A car was driving through the highway,a whole family in the car,father mother and two kids,a boy and a girl who are about the age of seven and five.

“Darling,are you sure there’s an hotel close to this place? I’ve not seen any building around here” The woman said,staring out of the car

“I’m sure we will get one soon,I’m sorry it’s my fault,we should have taken off earlier” The man said

“It’s fine,let’s just get the hotel first” his wife said and looked back,the fire years old girl was already sleeping on her brother’s shoulder

“Josh,why don’t you sleep? Daddy will carry you in when we get to the hotel” She smiled at him

“I’m not sleeping” Josh replied,his eyes focused on the phone in his hand

All of a sudden the car stopped

“What’s going on?” The woman asked

“I will just check…”

“You think we are out of gas?” The woman asked in fear

“I don’t think so” The man replied

“It better not be,I have a bad feeling about this place” She said,looking around.

The man got down from the car and was about opening the car bonnet when a man appeared in all black from the back

The woman’s eyes widened immediately

“Darling!!” She screamed but before her husband could turn,a steel landed on his head and his blood splashed all over the car glass

The woman couldn’t scream as she watched her husband falling on the ground in his own pill of blood,but the killer didn’t stop,he hit his head more than three times before opening the car door

“Pl…..please….don’t hurt my kids” The woman cried out as the killer dragged her out of the car

“Josh!!! Take your sister and run!! Call 911!!” She screamed but that was her last,the killer stabbed her deeply in the tummy and she spat out blood. Next,he brought out a marchet and without thinking twice,he chopped her head off.

Josh was already in tears as he dragged his sister who wouldn’t stop crying out loudly along with him,he somehow managed to wake her up and now running in the silent highway.

Just then,his sister fell.

“No,get up….please….” The word got stuck in his throat when a shadow covered them up. Josh looked up to see the man who just murdered his parents and right in front of him,the man stabbed his sister also,Josh fell on the ground weakly,patiently waiting for his turn and it happened,he was also stabbed countless times until he breathe his last.

NEXT MORNING

Vanessa opened her eyes slowly and was surprised to see Gigi sleeping beside her,aside that a wet towel was placed on her head but she felt so fine. She sighed out and took the towel on her head,Gigi opened her eyes almost immediately

“Pumpkin,are you okay?” She asked worriedly

“Of course,did…something happened?” Vanessa asked curiously

“Seriously you don’t remember? You made me worried all night” Gigi said and Vanessa raised her brows,still looking confused

“I heard your screams from my room so I came here only to meet you crying in your sleep and you were running a crazy temperature” Gigi explained and Vanessa sighed

“You had a nightmare right? Mind telling me about it?” Gigi asked

“I guess it’s just a bad dream,I can’t remember” Vanessa said,getting down from the bed

“Thank goodness you’re okay,hurry up,we should eat before going to class” Gigi said and walked out of the room

Vanessa roughed her hair

“Now it’s up to this?” She muttered and started taking off her pajamas.

WHITE MANSION

“Anybody heard from V?” Reed asked as he walked downstairs,he was already dressed up same with Virgil and Terence who are waiting in the living room

“He wouldn’t answer his phone” Terence said and Reed groaned

“He must really love it when we get worried” Virgil said

Almost immediately,the door opened and Valentino walked in

“Hey,where are you coming from?” Reed asked instantly but he ignored them and went straight upstairs

“Seriously?” Terence muttered,staring at Valentino till he was completely out of sight

“Let’s leave,he will be fine” Reed said

“Gosh I’m done getting worried anytime he’s not around,so f**king done” Virgil scoffed and went out first,Reed and Terence also followed

“Girls,have you seen this?” Angelique rushed to Gigi and Vanessa as soon as they walked into the lecture hall.

★A FAMILY OF FOUR WERE MURDERED ABOUT 11PM LAST NIGHT★

Gigi’s eyes widened as she scroll through all the pictures

The whole hall was noisy,other students are looking at the same news which is viral already

“It’s the same killer??” She asked

“Of course,obviously” Erica said and Vanessa swallowed hard

“But then,why is the woman’s head gone?? He chopped her head but not her husband’s head?” Gigi asked

“Exactly what I’m saying,you think the killer have a problem with ladies?” Quinn asked

“Heard he even took her head with him” Virgil said as they entered the hall

“He took it?” Vanessa’s eyes widened

“Yeah” Reed nodded

“That’s crazy,is he a psycho?” Gigi scoffed

“You should be careful and stop going to your boyfriend late in the night” Terence said and Gigi frowned

“Is that what you’re going to say?” She asked

“What else?” Terence smirked and walked to the back

“When are the investigating team meeting?” Vanessa asked

“This evening” Reed replied before leaving wtg Virgil

“This is getting intense,for real,now I’m scared” Quinn muttered

“Me too” Angelique said

Vanessa turned back again,wondering why Valentino is not in class yet

‘Is he not back?’ She thought but just then,Valentino walked into the hall,he doesn’t seem to be in a good mood coz he didn’t even spare her a glance like his usual self. She stared at him till he sat down,somewhere far from his friends

‘Is something wrong?’ She thought but couldn’t think more because the lecturer came in right at that moment and the students settled down immediately

AFTER CLASSES

Vanessa’s eyes followed Valentino as he walked out of the hall and she immediately got up

“I will meet you guys,don’t wait for me” She said to the girls and without waiting,she walked out of the hall.

She met him in the boys locker room but he still ignored her,she stood there staring at him as he kept the texts in his hand in it before locking it back

“Hey” Vanessa called

“Not now” Valentino muttered

“Are you okay? Is something wrong?” Vanessa asked

“I don’t want to talk to anyone right now” Valentino said and made to leave but Vanessa stood in front of him and he frowned

“Including me?” She asked

“Who the f**k do you think you are?” Valentino snapped almost angrily and Vanessa raised her brows

“I’m just worried……”

“Stop trying to know anything about me,you’re not that important,I must have been dumb these past days,running after you like a puppy…..”

Immediately,Vanessa raised her hand and slapped him hard on the face,cutting him off.

“Then….don’t talk to me again” She glared at him and walked away angrily.

Valentino gulped as he stared at her back before going his own way.
