As soon as the knock came through Kwaku Mike jumped on his feet and dropped the glass he had in his hand.
 
Michael Ansah: Oh my God have this people managed to track me to this place also? Quincy our end has come oooo, sorry for putting you in such crisis when you were peacefully living your life. Ah God!!! God why did you bring me this far to forsake me in the middle of the journey, gosh so I am not going to see my mom and sisters again?
 
Quincy: Hey get a hold of yourself and be a man, see come let me hide you somewhere in the room, mmmm go to the washroom and hide there. No…. no….. no come back here, you will be s₱0tted easily. Mmmm I think hiding under my bed will be better or maybe my wardrobe, no that place is also another place that you will be easily seen by those idiots.
 
Michael Ansah: Gosh!!! So what do we do now? You a living on a storey building so I can’t jump and there is nowhere that I can hide in here. Bro am very confused and scared ooooo?
 
Quincy: Mike just be calm for some seconds so that I come up with something, stop that incoherent and emotional articulation like a class one child. See “when the going gets tough the tough gets going”, you see the deep freezer there in the corner, get in,side it. No one will suspect you of entering into a working deep freezer, it will be very cold in there but please for the sake of our lives just endure it until they have leave.
 
Michael Ansah: Hmmmm I guess I don’t have any option for now so I will go and hide in there but please don’t let them get me.
 
Back at the Addo’s residence:
 
Mr Addo: Hmmmmmm Opana your request is too much but as the saying goes “if you want something you have never gotten before, you do something you haven’t done before”. I haven’t bought any land as expensive as yours before but I will try and beat all odds and pay for your land, I will sign a cheque for you to cash at the bank the moment you hand over the land doc-ments to me.
 
Mrs Pearl Addo: Honey but you can’t do that, this land is very expensive and you should have bargained a little for him to reduce the price a bit.
 
Opana: (giving Pearl a stern look) Madam don’t try to be an obstacle in this matter, your husband has agreed to my offer and if you think it’s too much a price, then let me go and deal with someone else.
 
Mr Addo: Opana you don’t have to be angry for nothing, an agreement has been reached between the two of us so don’t take anything personal over here. Sweetheart please don’t do anything to ruin our chances of getting Opana’s lands, whatever the problem is, we will resolve it later.
 
Opana: If you say so Mr Addo, I will get the doc-ments ready at my lawyer’s end and please when coming kindly come with physical cash and not any form of cheque. It was nice doing business with you sir.
 
Opana steps out of Mr Addo’s house feeling very excited with the deal he has been able to pull through. He calls his wife to enquire about their daughter’s condition and she tells Opana that their daughter some few minutes ago regained her consciousness and that she has been crying ever since she woke up.
 
Opana: So what are the doctors saying as at now?
 
Akua Yankey: The doctor said it will be proper for us to take drastic measures so we get her out of this mess. The painful thing is that she can’t even recognise me anymore and I doubt if she can recognise you also.
 
Opana: Don’t worry my dear, I am on my way to the hospital so I will join you soon at her ward.
 
Akua Yankey: Okay honey so please did you get the money for our daughter’s surgery?
 
Opana: I didn’t get it but I and the man have been able to reach an agreement where we will be signing some agreement doc-ments after which the money will be released to me.
 
 
Akua Yankey: Ah may the name of the Lord be praised, I will be waiting for you at her ward.
 
Opana: Okay see you later then and remember not to broke down in tears over there, what she needs from you now is encouragement and motivation and not any form of tears for her to break her down more with tears.
 
Akua Yankey: Okay my dear, I will be waiting for you. (call ends)
 
Back at Quincy’s end:
 
Quincy: (standing behind the door in,side the room) Who is that knocking my door like he is a carpenter. Who are you looking for?
 
The knock comes again and this time around it is even heavier and loud than the first one. Quincy who is now sweating and getting much worried with what is taking place but he had to take chances and open the door.
 
Unknown Person: (scre-ming) Surprise!!! Surprise!!! Surprise!!!
 
 
Quincy: Ah so it’s you that made my blood pressure go up like that, please don’t do that again.
 
Unknown Person: So why are you sweating like that and why did it take you so long to come and open the door? Hope you have not brought in another girl to warm your bed because I won’t allow that and I will beat that lady blue and black.
 
Quincy: Ah what do you mean by that, are you trying to insinuate that am cheating on you or am flirt around?
 
Unknown Person: Well am sorry my love, Happy Birthday to you my Prince charming. Now give me way so I come in with my birthday gifts.
 
Quincy: (closing the door behind him) Eeeeiiii can you believe I forgot that today is my birthday? Come here my baby girl and give me a birthday k-ss.
 
Unknown Person: Mmmmm you don’t know the plans I have for you, today I will make you beg for mercy on that bed. I will make you scre-m your head off today, now am coming to give you my special birthday k-ss.
 
The lady and Quincy engaged themselves in a very rom-ntic mood which made him to forget his friend in,side the deep freezer. Meanwhile Kwaku Mike was praying in,side the deep freezer for the bad people to leave Quincy’s end because he was freezing in,side and was just hoping that his friend will come to his rescue anytime soon. The rom-nce became intense with the two love birds, Quincy all of a sudden lifted his lover up and took her to the bed, they hungrily started undressing themselves and as he took his lover p-nt’s off and was about to jump on her, an unknown ringtone filled the room and immediately the lover of Quincy pushed him aside and wore her p-nt.
 
Quincy: Baby what is the problem, why are you stopping us from this wonderful thing we have started?
 
 
Unknown Person: I knew you were not alone in this room that is why it took you a very long time to open the door and see how you were sweating when you opened the door. Today I will catch that lady and deal with her drastically without any mercy, who should suffer all this years with you for someone to come and enjoy.
 
Quincy: Baby what are you trying to insinuate? Why are you accusing me wrongly for something that I know nothing about?
 
Unknown Person: Don’t baby me you cheat, you have been cheating on me and you blindfold me with sweet words always. Today that lady will see, where did you hide her? You slut you better come out from where Quincy is hiding you before I fish you out by myself, you have been ripping where you did not sow, your cup is full today because everyday for the thief one day for the owner.
 
Quincy: What should I do for you to believe me my love, I told you I am alone here without and lady or woman.
 
Unknown Person: (turns around and sees the bowls Quincy and Kwaku Mike used) Ah see when did you start to eat the same food in two different bowls? You see your cup has run over today, unfortunately for you I caught you on your birthday cheating. Shame on you.

Quincy: Jessssssssus Christ!!! Baby get out of my way, someone’s life is at stake here.
 
Unknown Person: You are not going anywhere you cheat, stand here and let’s get to the bottom of this Mr man.
 
Quincy: (pushes his lover to the bed and rushes to the deep freezer and opens it) Mike are you okay? Sorry for keeping you in,side there for long, actually the person behind the door was my fiancèe.
 
Unknown Person: (covering herself with the bedspread on the bed) Quincy who is that and what is he doing in,side your deep freezer? You have got a lot of explanations to give me this morning.
 
Quincy: Hmmmm Maabena that is the phone owner and not any lady as you are suspecting me, meet my best friend Michael Ansah a.k.a “Kwaku Mike the smooth boy” and bro over there on the bed is Maabena Boaduwaa. Baby he is my friend that I spoke to you about and he will be staying here with me for sometime so if you see him here or around this place, he is not a stranger.
 
Michael Ansah: (shaking due to the coldness of the freezer) Hello Maabena
 
Maabena Boaduwaa: (recognises Kwaku Mike) Hey you again? What are you doing in my fiancèe deep freezer? Are you aware you could have died if you stayed in there for another five minutes? Baby you are unclad so please find something to wear.
 
Quincy: Don’t worry my dear, Kwaku Mike is like a brother to me and we use to share the same room back at the university, bro please come out from the deep freezer and baby please kindly get him a very hot coffee so that it melts his frozen blood and body.
 
Maabena Boaduwaa: Baby you still have not told me what your friend was doing in your deep freezer. Your friend works at my hospital and I met him early this morning and was suppose to see him when I hand over to the morning shift nurses. I don’t know him that much but I wanted him to help me choose what I should buy for you on such a special day like this.
 
Quincy: Kwaku Mike are you okay? You haven’t spoken a word as you came out of the deep freezer, should I rush you to the hospital for a proper examination?
 
Maabena Boaduwaa: That won’t be necessary my Prince charming, after the coffee I will give him some medications I have in my bag and he will be fine.
 
Quincy: So now baby are you going to apologise to me for accusing me wrongly?
 
Maabena Boaduwaa: Am sorry my Prince charming for accusing you wrongly. I will prepare something sweet for you before I leave this place to my house.
 
Quincy: So what about the other thing that you failed to give me simply because you thought I was harbouring another woman here.
 
Maabena Boaduwaa: (been sarcastic) What thing are you talking about my handsome Prince? Can you please talk in plain language?
 
Quincy: Oh baby so you mean you are not getting what am driving at huh? You I have heard you wai, since you have chosen to punish me for something I know nothing about I will take it cool but when I get you, you will see the new age in me. Mike how are you feeling now? Your silence is scaring me please say something to me.
 
Maabena Boaduwaa: You want him to say something to you erh? If I didn’t push you away I know by now your friend there would have been a corpse in your deep freezer, please go and get something to wear because you are scaring me, don’t you know that am still a V-rgin? Hahahahaha
 
Quincy: To an extent you are right but the punishment you have subjected me to must be compensated later.
 
Maabena Boaduwaa: (conveys the hot coffee to the dinning table where Kwaku Mike was sitting) Here is your hot coffee Mr Ansah, so can someone please tell me what you were doing in,side the deep freezer?
 
Quincy: Mike would you like me to tell my woman why you were in the deep freezer?
 
Michael Ansah: (nodding his head to approve of what his friend asked of him after sipping his coffee) Feel free and go ahead.
 
Quincy: Okay if you say so Mike but Maabena before I open up to you I want to let you know that there is a great danger ahead of anyone who hears the story am about to tell you. Before I open up to you I want you to promise yourself, myself and Kwaku Mike that what you are about to hear must pass through you ears and stay in your head and never come out through you mouth because when you do, death is going to be your reward.
 
Maabena Boaduwaa: You know you can always trust me with your secret baby boy, have I ever let you down before?
 
Back at the ghetto where the cartel guys meet.
 
Ginola: Guys I want to bring to your notice that, today our boss has promoted me to the status of Squadron Leader just like Scorpion here so henceforth the respect you accord to him must be accorded to me, with the power vested on me by the boss I appoint Stubborn, Physical and Trouble to be my senior guys that I will be working with. If there is any information you want to channel to me and am not around, you can communicate it to them and it will get to me, as you already know we have a mission ahead of us to accomplish, wherever that fool who spied on us is, he must be smoked out, the boss has promised something big to anyone who helps in gunning him down or clumping him down. Ginola: Okay guys it’s a wrap for today, we will meet tomorrow evening at the club house to draw our final attack plan because we have just 21days ahead of us. (takes a stick of cigarette from a cigarette pack and lights it)
 
Scorpion: If you don’t stop smoking, smoking will lead you to you early grave and let me warn you to never ever in your foolish greedy life light a cigarette or anything smoke wise in my face again or else you won’t like the reaction to my action. If you have been promoted or elevated as you say, I remain your superior and that is how it shall remain in this group, do well not to step on my shadow.
 
Back at the Hospital:
 
Brigaider Adu-Tettey: Doctor am giving you 72hours to get me that youngman or else I will personally shut this hospital down and no one can do anything about it and I mean no one. Remember I told you that youngman is a son of a diplomatic so if you try to involve any outsider in this issue you are rather making your case worse.
 
Doctor: (sweating) Brigadier 72hours is not much for me because I have to be taking care of the patients here in the hospital. Matron have you seen what your negligence has caused us? Your incompetence is going to pull the reputation of this hospital down, now get me the list of all the hospital staff who were on the night shift yesterday and I want it in my office ASAP
 
Mrs Adu-Tettey: Doc please take my number and call me if anything happens or if you need any assistance from me. My number is 0202029435 so call me if there is any problem.
 
Brigadier Adu-Tettey: Abi let us go home, I will make the boys stay around for any assistance they need.
 
Matron: Mmmm sir please who will pay for the youngman’s medical bills?
