Durham appeared back into his liar and headed for his scrawny throne. He sat down and ruminated about the old man that lied to Byron about the spirited child. He knew with the lies the man poured out to Byron, Lucifer is gradually taking interest in the happenings of the universe,a vision he has been looking forward to since when Durham was still remembered by the residents of the universe as a god. But now that he had been forgotten and aciented, he knew he had a lot of pacifications to do as everyone needs warning but first, he decided to visit the Hell universe, a universe territory owned by Lucifer and his fifty thousand messengers to warn him about his folly….

Even after the explanations Durham did, Byron was still not convinced and still somehow frustrated. He couldn’t bear the sight of his murdered wife and the unborn foetus she was carrying.

“How could he be so wicked? He killed my wife without considering her state and condition and now he’s telling me my unborn child is going to be a threat to the universe if he wasn’t killed on time? No!!! This can’t be….. Never”Byron yelled the last word and pulled out the dagger Durham plunged into his wife’s stomach. He wiped the dripping blood on the dagger with his tongue.

“If I eventually find out that either Durham or Khor told me a lie I swear the liar is going to pay for his folly” Byron said and called in the Knights who had all ran outside before. He ordered them to pack the corpse and bury it appropriately.

Hercules headed out of the palace late in the night.He made sure he wasn’t followed by anyone as he headed deep into the forest, using invisibility. He stopped at a point and looked around. He then suddenly held his both hands tightly against each other, more like a self strength tussle.

“Trush Tami kami Zeus pastir” He said and a strong wind began to whirl around him and then suddenly, His father, Zeus appeared.

“Son, I was expecting you before now, I knew you’d come”Zeus said.

“Father, in the first place, I demand to know why I can’t be granted godly powers. Secondly, this kingdom looks like a place I’ve been to before but am not sure until i saw the king whose face looks familiar but I can’t recollect”Hercules said, holding his forehead. Zeus moved closer to him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

“Son, as I said earlier that I was expecting you, I know a time like this will come. It’s high time I let you know why I can’t grant you godly powers”Zeus said and paused, sighing heavily.

“Two hundred thousand years ago, a plague broke out from the fourth dimension of the universe called the hunters plague. Back then, the hunters are one of the most powerful killers and spirits. They were evil race of supernaturals”Zeus said, taking a long pause in which Hercules took advantage of to ask a question.

“The hunters??? How did they look like? “Hercules asked.
.
“Hunters look exactly like humans in their normal form but fast and swift killers in their supernatural mode. They possess a pair of green eyeballs and two axes. They have abilities to shape shift into any creature or object and can manipulate the atmospheric condition of any place but only the omega hunters can manipulate atmospheric conditions” Zeus said and continued.

“The plague came, more like a pandemic that killed only the hunters race but left one survivor, his name is Durham. The plague granted him powers, I mean mysterious powers that made him a god, the god of all gods in the universe.Apart from Durham who’s no longer a hunter,there are no more hunters in this universe”Zeus said.

“Father, you speak as if this Durham can defeat you”Hercules said and Zeus smiled.

“Yes, he can defeat me if he wants but it’s been ages since I’ve seen Durham” Zeus said.

“So how does this affect me not having godly powers? ” Hercules demanded inquisitively.
.
“Durham created godly powers and granted them to all gods under his control. He will kill you if he finds out you possess a god power which wasn’t granted to you by him. He’d kill me also for breaking the gods code of conduct and his power rules, forgiveness is out of the picture before Durham” Zeus said, getting Hercules thinking about Durham.

“This kingdom, Argalon was formerly known as city of thieves of different powers used in the wrong way… All of this wasn’t considered until one great crime was committed here that made me impose the ban of powers in the city and as for King Moraes, he is the one who gave birth to your deceased mother, Cara” Zeus said and vanished,leaving Hercules flabbergasted. He couldn’t believe his ears. ..

“King Moraes is my grandfather? ” he muttered silently…..

Lucifer sat majestically on his hell throne, viewing the works of his messengers all around the universe when suddenly, one of his messengers came to him. He is the one that usually appears as an old man to Byron.

“Lord Lucifer, the destructive human being that was supposed to be given birth to has been neutralized. The baby is dead” the messenger said.
.
“What!!! ” Lucifer yelled as fire evolved from all angles of his throne.
“Who killed the baby? “Lucifer asked harshly.
.
“Durham, the aciented neutral god” the messenger replied, bowing slightly. Lucifer immediately wore a confused look.
.
“No….. It can’t be…. Durham has ran into extinction… How come he’s back again? “Lucifer said and immediately, Durham appeared in the middle of the place, not facing Lucifer at first.

“Who dares storm my universe unjustly? “Lucifer asked in a loud frightening voice.
.
“It is I, Durham, the god of peace, neutrality and equality. I am the god of all gods, ruler of the collective dimensions of the universe, including this place you call your abode”Durham said with authority and boldness in his voice.

“Why did you sabotaged my plan, Durham? “Lucifer asked calmly but angry. He knew he stands no chance against Durham.
.
“I knew from the onset that this plan of yours to destroy all supernaturals still reigns but can’t you just understand that it’s impossible to execute that? You know this baby is from the dark side of the spirit world and mustn’t be given birth to among the mortals, generally earth. You knew he will eventually kill everyone so why are you hell bent on him coming? You are gradually biting more than you can chew” Durham said, his voice becoming thunderous, signifying rise of gradual anger.

“I am created to be a threat to the universe at wh0le and I won’t stop at anything to continue threatening the universe. I am Lucifer and will always remain. You are more powerful than me but I am not afraid of you!!! “Lucifer said and Durham smiled, pacing up and down Lucifer’s liar.

“If Byron, the father of the dead spirit finds out about the lies you told him through your useless messengers, he will stop at nothing to kill your fifty thousand messengers and battle you also which am sure he’ll be close to winning.He is partially a god and you know your powers are from hell, not standing a chance against pure spirited powers from the Supreme God” Durham said and vanished away from the Hell universe……

Royce walked into his chambers, followed by the soul he ressurected.He headed for his throne and sat down, facing the kneeling man.

“From History, I heard you are the most powerful hunter ever lived before a plague killed you and your people, thousands of years ago but now, am ready to revive the vision of your people through you… From today, you become my messenger and your name will be Veta” Royce said and grabbed a cup of rum, sipping it slowly.

“Your wish is my command, Lord Royce” Veta said and Royce smiled……

“The world of supernaturals, prepare for an apocalyptic war” Royce muttered to himself slowly.
