Episode 37 A

AUTHORESS P.O.V

“I don’t really know what’s keeping these incompetent f00ls?” Steve asked angrily and sat on the floor.

“We are sorry for coming late,” two guys said and walked in,side his room.

“Don’t f×¢king tell me sorry, so what did you find?” Steve asked and one of the guys smile out.

“here sir!” He said and handover a file to Steve. “And who told you you can smile without reason?” Steve asked with a frown.

“Nobody, I’m sorry for smiling” The guy replied and Steve opened the file.

“what a blank file!” Steve yelled and throw the file at them.

“We find nothing about him, sir, we are very sorry we tried all our possible best but it’s not working,” One of the guys said.

“Shut up!! How am I gonna kidnap one of his family members when I didn’t find anything about him, that guy is proving smart!” Steve said and roughing his hair angrily.

“I don’t wanna see you guys ever again, you two are incompetent,” Steve said and throw the bottle of vodka at them, and the bottle hit Bryan who is just coming in,side head and he winced in pain.

“Goodness! Bryan, you didn’t tell me you’re coming!” Steve said and rushed to his side.

“Are you planning to kill me?” Bryan asked and hold his forehead in pain.

“I’m very sorry, I need to treat your wound right now!” Steve said and placed his hand on Bryan’s forehead.

Bryan removed his hand on his forehead and walked out of the house.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t know you were coming,” Steve said and run after him.

“Don’t tell me sorry! I overheard your discussion, if anything happens to Rowen I will hold you responsible, I don’t know why you wanna kill yourself and hurt innocent people because of a lady that doesn’t love you, I’m highly disappointed in you Steve” Bryan said.

“I’m sorry bro, just forgive this big brother of us!” Steve said.

Bryan entered his car and drove off to the hospital.

“Gosh! Rowen, can you see what you caused? It’s not over, I’m f×¢king coming for you” Steve said and walked back to his room angrily.

Emma stood up from the floor and lay flatly on the bed.

Brittany’s words kept rushing on her head and she hissed out loud before covering her ear with a pillow.

“Miss Maxwell hope all is well?” Nadia asked and sit beside her on the bed.

“All is well, but do I look like I’m in love?” Emma asked and Nadia burst into laughter.

“It’s not funny, you know right?” Emma asked with a frown.

“I’m sorry for laughing, but it’s obvious you’re in love with Rowen” Nadia replied.

“Why are you all repeating the same thing?” Emma asked.

“We are saying the truth, give Rowen a chance that guy truly loves you,” Nadia said.

“Good night!” EMMA said and covered herself with the duvet.

Nadia shakes her head before walking to the bathroom.

The Next Day

“Good morning Mr. Hunt!” Mrs. Cathy greets with a smile.

“It has been long I came here, I asked my brother to transfer money into your account hope you see it?” Rowen replied with a smile.

“Sure I did Mr. Hunt, I was about to call you, thank you very much for what you’re doing for I and the kids” Mrs. Cathy replied.

“There’s no need for that, here’s an open cheque write any amount you need in it, and make sure you take care of my children very well,” Rowan said.

“Sure Mr. Hunt, may God continue to bless you, Sophia is seriously sick,” Mrs. Cathy said.

“Oh my goodness! What happened to my daughter?” Rowen ask.

“She has been dying to see you, she has been calling your name for the past three days” Mrs. Cathy replied.

“I need to see her,” Rowen said and stood up. Don’t be surprised, Sophia is one of Rowen’s favorite kids.

“Dad!” Sophia rushed to hug Rowen immediately she saw him.

Rowen told all the kids to address him as Dad because he wanna be a father for the fatherless.

“How’s your healthy baby?” Rowen asks checking her temperature with his hand.

“I’m perfectly fine now that I see you,” Sophia replied with a smile.

“I’m glad you’re, please don’t fall sick again!” Rowen said.

“I won’t, if you take me along with you, you don’t know how much I missed you,” Sophia said.

“Alright you’ll spend your holiday with me, Mrs. Cathy am I permitted to go with her?” Rowen ask and Sophia gave Mrs. Cathy her perfect puppy eyes.

“Sure Mr. Hunt, they’re your children” Mrs. Cathy replied and Sophia blow her a k×ss. “Drama queen,” Mrs. Cathy said with a smile.

“Mrs. Cathy I will take my leave now, I hope you aren’t overstressing yourself?” Rowen ask.

“No Mr. Hunt” Mrs. Cathy replied.

“Alright take care of yourself,” Rowen said. “Aren’t you gonna say hi to other kids?” Mrs. Cathy asked.

“No I won’t, I can’t resist their cries, you know what I mean” Rowen replied with a smile and Mrs. Cathy nod her head.

“Have you ride on a bike before?” Rowen asks Sophia.

“No, dad! But I’ll ride with you” Sophia replied and Rowen nod his head before placing her gently on the bike.

“Won’t you carry me?” Austin asked.

“You’re sîck darling!” Rowen replied and Sophia gilgled.

“Why’s Bryan not here?” Rowen asks other workers.

“Mr. Bryan is in the hospital” one of the workers replied.

“What! How come? What happened to him?” Rowen asks surprise written on his face.

“I don’t know!” The lady replied. “Did you know the hospital address?” Rowen ask.

“Sure I do” the lady replied.

“Why are you so concerned about him?” Austin asked.

“Are you okay at all, didn’t you hear he’s in the hospital” Rowen ask and rushed out? “Daddy!” Sophia called.

“Stay with uncle Austin, I’ll be right back,” Rowen said and peck her on her forehead.

“Good morning I’m here to see Mr. Bryan,” Rowen said to the receptionist.

“Who are you to him?” The receptionist asked. “I’m his friend” Rowen replied.

“Alright, room 25” the receptionist replied and Rowen nod his head.

Bryan raised his head immediately he see Rowen.

“Rowen?” Bryan called surprised.

“How are you feeling now?” Rowen replied. “I’m good, thanks for caring” Bryan replied.

“Who told you I care, I only came to check if you’re dèàd” Rowen replied and Bryan smiled out.

“Your eyes say otherwise, your eyes are full of concerned,” Bryan said.

“Whatever, I wish you a quick recovery,” Rowen said.

“Thanks very much, bro!” Bryan said.

“I’m not your bro” Rowen replied checking his temperature and Bryan smiled out.

“I love your personality!” Bryan said.

“Everyone does” Rowen replied.

“Arrogant f00l,” Rowen said. “Everyone knows” Rowen replied again.

“I’ll get going now, I’ll come to check on you later,” Rowen said.

“There’s no need for that because I’ll soon be discharged” Bryan replied.

“That’s nice then, take good care of yourself,” Rowen said and waved his hand at him.

EMMA P.O.V
“Emma you’re a genius, my business partner almost dumped me,” Stanley said with a smile.

“I’m not a genius, those people are cunny, I’ve dealt with different types of cunny business partners, just be very careful with them. I replied with a smile.

Those people almost dumped him and he believed all the things they told him, something similar has happened to me that I almost fell into their trap but Brittany helped me out then, she is such a sweet soul.

“What are you thinking about?” Stanley asked with a smile.

“I’m thinking about money” I replied with a smile.

“You love money a lot,” Stanley said.

“Sure, money must be made, and no one hates money” I replied to him

. “You’re right, should I give you Vera’s address now?” He asked me, that reminds me, I forget that I promised to help him talk to her.

“Sure give me I’ll go to her house tomorrow” I replied and Stanley smile at me.

“Mr lover boy!” I said with a smirk.

“Who told you I’m in love with her?” He asked with a frown.

“I tell myself, so stop pretending” I replied.

“I don’t love her as lover, I love her as friend” Stanley replied.

“Alright sir, I’ve heard you, hope your brother is preparing for his interview because I won’t go soft on him,” I said with a smile.

“Sure, he’s anticipating” Stanley replied.

“Good, I’ll see you later,” I said and get into my car.

I need to see Rowen, he needs to explain why he has been it ignoring my calls, I Parked my car in the garage and came down from the car.

I walked in,side the restaurant and I saw Rowen with a kid.

He placed her on his leg and the girl keep playing with his hair.

“what did you need baby?” Rowen asks with a smile showing off his dimples.

“I need ice cream Dad” the girl replied with her baby voice.

She’s beautiful, but Rowen didn’t tell me he has a child what the hèck! I turned to leave and Rowen saw me.

“Emma!” He said with a smile and dropped the baby gently on the chair.

“Don’t come closer!” I said rushing out and Rowen run after me.

He dragged me with my arm and I look at him angrily.

“See I don’t wanna see you ever again, do me a favor by leaving my hand,” I said angrily. He let go of my hand and I rushed in,side my car.

Episode 37 B

AUTHORESS P.O.V

“I’ve always known that all men are scum, why didn’t he tell me he has a child, I understand we aren’t in any relationsh¡p, but we are friends and s×× mate, he should have at least told me about the child,” Emma said.

“Maybe he’s ashame of his child?” Emma said. she take a last glance at him before driving off.

“Dad, who’s that?” Sophia asked Rowen.

“She’s your future Mum, baby” Rowen replied and lift Sophia up from the ground.

“I thought I heard Miss Maxwell’s voice now, where’s she?” Austin asked.

“She left angrily” Rowen replied and walked back in,side the restaurant with Sophia in his hand and Austin run after him.

“What did you do to her?” Austin asked.

“She misunderstood me, she thought Sophia is my biological child, I guess!” Rowen replied to Austin.

“Oh, but why don’t you stop her and explain everything to her?” Austin asked.

“And you think Emma will listen, I’ll go check on her later,” Rowen replied. “How did you know she won’t listen?” Austin asked. “Her look when she saw me with Sophia said it all” Rowen replied

“Alright then,” Austin replied.

“Dad, where’s my ice cream?” Little Sophia asked.

“Oh I’m sorry baby, I’ll go get it for you” Rowen replied and runoff, he came back with a cone of ice cream and gave it to Sophia.

“Thanks, Dad, you’re the best!” Sophia said licking from her Ice cream.

“Dad I have a question” Sophia said with a smile.

“Go on baby” Rowen replied.

“My future Mum, is very beautiful but why’s she angry, she looks angry, didn’t she like me?” Sophia asked.

“Common she does, we are going to her house later” Rowen replied.

“I can’t wait to jump on her,” Sophia said.

“So sweet, I wish I also have a child,” Austin said.

“You’re always jealous of me, I don’t know what your problem is,” Rowen said with a smirk.

“My problem is everyone wanna take you away from me” Austin replied.

“Including me?” Sophia asked.

“No baby!” Austin replied.

“You should have told her she’s included” Rowen replied.

“did you want her to design my face with her teeth, I regret the last time I told her something like that” Austin said and Rowen burst into laughter.

“She’s a boss baby, I don’t have a death wish,” Austin said and they both burst into laughter. “Are you both laughing at me?” Sophia asked and throw her ice cream at Austin angrily.

“How dare you!” Austin yelled playfully.

“You can’t do anything to me” Sophia replied and stick out her tongue at Austin.

“I’ll show you I can do something” Austin replied and Sophia rushed to hug Rowen tightly to herself.

“You can’t beat me, my dad will not allow you,” Sophia said with a giggle.

“Yeah, you dare not beat my baby” Rowen replied and Austin lick the ice cream that flowed into his mouth.

“Oh my goodness! Daddy, he’s licking it, uncle Austin is too dirty” Sophia said with an evîl grin.

.”Yes Austin is a very dirty boy” Rowen replied. “Is he a boy?” Sophia asked.

“Yes he’s a little boy” Rowen replied.

“I’ll kîll the both of you, just wait for me,” Austin said and Rowen ran in,side the kitchen with Sophia in his hand.

“Funny baby,” Austin said and sat on a chair. “Baby, daddy needs to work!” Rowen said and brought out his phone.

He gave it to Sophia and she smiled. “Your password Dad?” Sophia asked.

“Sophia!” Rowen replied. “Oh my goodness, my name is your password,” Sophia said dramatically and Rowen smile out before shaking his head.

“She’s beautiful!” Sophia said showing Rowen his wallpaper.

“Yes, she’s pretty like you” Rowen replied.

“I think I’ll add a little pretty to my name, I’ll be a little pretty Sophia,” Sophia said with a smile.

“The name suit you perfectly” Rowen replied. “yes Daddy!” Sophia replied.

“Daddy, I need a flower,” Sophia said with a pout. “What did you need it for baby?” Rowen ask.

“I want to give it to my future Mum, it will make her love me better” Sophia replied.

“Alright I’ll get it for you pretty little Sophia” Rowen replied.

“I love how the name sounds in your mouth,” Sophia said and blush hærd.

Emma parked her car in the garage and walked in,side the house angrily.

“Brittany Miss Maxwell is back” Nadia shouted. “I’m coming baby, I’m trying to track Dora’s location” Brittany replied connecting a drive to her laptop.

“Alright baby” Nadia replied and sat beside Emma.

“Baby how’s the business meeting?” Nadia asked but Emma kept talking to herself.

“What’s wrong with this one?” Nadia asked. “Hey Emma, hope you’re fine?” Emma asked. “I’m fine” Emma replied.

“You’re talking to yourself like a màd woman, spill whatever is bothering you out I might be of help,” Nadia said.

“There’s nothing I’m fine” Emma replied stamping her feet on the ground.

“A problem shared is a problem solved,” Nadia said.

“I don’t have a problem, I don’t know if you’ve one” Emma replied.

“That’s too harsh!” Nadia said with a frown.

“I’m sorry, I don’t even understand myself, I don’t know what’s wrong with me” Emma replied..

“Spill it out!” Nadia said.

“Rowen has a child,” Emma said.

“Lier!” Brittany replied coming out of her room. “I’m dawn serious here” Emma replied.

“Who told you?” Brittany asked.

“I saw it with my two eyes, I don’t need anyone to tell me” Emma replied.

“And did you ask him who the baby is?” Brittany asked.

“There’s no need to ask him” Emma replied. “Come to think of it, you don’t have any right to be angry since you don’t love him,” Brittany said and walked to the mini bar in the living room.

A knock was heard on the door and Nadia and Emma look into each other faces.

“Are you expecting any visitors?” Nadia asked. “No, I guess it’s Rowen” Emma replied.

“I’m expecting a visitor let me go check,” Brittany said and stood up from the chair.

“Hey, oh my goodness, you came?” Brittany said and hug Vera.

“Yes, I’m a woman of my words” Vera replied. “Emma sorry I didn’t tell you, meet my new friend, I met her Three days ago, I’ve forgotten to tell you about her, but I’ve already told Nadia, she was the one that helped me out with the tracker,” Brittany said.

“Oh,” Emma said and raised her head.

“I think I’ve seen your face before,” Vera said. “Yes in Mr. Wilson’s mansion” Emma replied.

“Oh, Stanley fiance,” Vera said with a smile. “Not really, come have your seat, I’ve been planning to see you” Emma replied.

“Alright, thanks!” Vera replied.

“I’m Stanley’s fake fiancee, I’m telling you this because I discovered that Stanley loves you,” Emma said and Nadia clear her throat.

“No you are getting it wrong, Stanley didn’t love me, he has told me that times without number, so I’ve decided to let him be” Vera replied.

“He does, he’s just confused” Emma replied and Nadia bites back a laugh.

“What’s funny?” Emma asked with a frown. “Nothing!” Nadia replied.

“Are you afraid of her?” Brittany asked. “You can detect when someone is in love but you can’t detect when you’re in love,” Brittany said.

“Can we talk about it later?” Emma asked with a frown.

“As I was saying before this f00l interrupted, he has been worried about you, try and pick his call,” Emma said.

“I don’t wanna force myself on him anymore” Vera replied.

“I understand and I didn’t ask you to force yourself, you can just maintain the friendsh¡p, I bet you, he’ll be the one to ask you out later,” Emma said.

“Are you sure?” Vera asked.

“Sure I’m, just try and pick his call,” Emma said.

“Thanks very much and nice meeting you Miss Maxwell,” Vera said with a smile.

“Same here!” Emma replied.

“So Brittany are you able to track her?” Vera asked.

“Sure it’s working perfectly now” Brittany replied with a smile.

“Good I’ll get going now,” Vera said.

“I’m visible, you should have at least said hi to me,” Nadia said with a frown.

“I’m very sorry my bad” Vera replied.

“You’re forgiven” Nadia replied with a smile. “Brittany I’ll see you later I’ve somewhere important to go,” Vera said.

“Alright make sure you make use of Emma’s advice,” Brittany said.

“Sure I’ll” Vera replied.

“Mr manager what are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be in your house?” Rowen ask.

“I need to come to check the restaurant” Bryan replied. “But you need rest!” Rowen said.

“I know thanks, I’ll rest later” Bryan replied.

“Anyway I’m going out with Austin since you’re here,” Rowen said..

“No problem good day” Bryan replied. “Brother, what happened to your forehead did you fight with a lion?” Sophia asked.

“No beautiful, I didn’t fight with a lion, it’s a little accident” Bryan replied.

“Oh I need to add beautiful to my name,” Sophia said dramatically and Austin scoffed loudly.

“Sorry uncle,” Sophia said and roll her eyes at Austin and Austin stick out her tongue at her.

“Dad, did you see what uncle Austin just did?” Sophia asked.

“Don’t worry we will deal with him later” Rowen replied.

Rowen placed a knock on the door and Emma opened the door immediately.

“What are you doing here? I don’t want to ever see you again I hate you!” Emma said and closed the door angrily and Rowen bend down on the floor.

Sophia and Austin run out of their hidden place.

“Dad you’re crying!” Sophia said with a frown and Rowen clear his face immediately.

“No I’m not” Rowen replied with a smile. “I’m sorry man!” Austin said.

“Dad wait, don’t worry she will talk to you by force,” Sophia said.
