“Come on Sharron, you and I know it’ll be fun”
” Stop it Jessy, I can’t cheat, just because you love doing doesn’t mean I can’t should. I already made a vow at the altar which I must keep to” Sharron replied tiredly
” Don’t tell me you believe in all that shiis Sharron, we’re 25 for goodness sake, are we supposed to just stay at home?? be the full house wife and not have girly fun? Jessy asked exasperatedly
” Fine, go ahead and have fun. It’s not like this is your first time while I stay here because I have covenant to keep” Sharron replied eyeing her.
” Alright, say all you want, but I bet you, you’ll soon be like me and even more, trust me” Jessy said smirking.
” I can’t” Sharron said scoffing
” I’m going sweetie” Jessy said packing her bags ” have fun with your house and give me the full gist tommorow” she added blowing her a k-ss.
” Gawd…….. just go Jess” Sharron gro-ned ” and don’t call me when you’re in the club” She added sternly.

” Hey darling” Sharron welcomed her husband Steve
” Welcome back, how was work?” she asked collecting his workbag and leading him to the dinning table.
” Thanks dear” he replied pecking her on the cheeks.
” Work was hectic today as usual” he added frowning
” Okay eat first, I’ll m-ssage your body” she offered
After eating they both retired to the bedroom to talk about how the day went.
” sweetheart, you really should stop making friends with Jessica, today I saw her rubbing a bald man’s head before entering his car and am sure you know where they’re headed to. She’s a married woman and isn’t acting like one. I don’t want you following in her footsteps” Steve said creasing his brows.
” Come on Steve” She replied calling his name to show she’s getting annoyed not liking where the conversation is leading to. “You know I would never follow in her footsteps not in this lifetime”
” Okay dear, Sorry if I got you annoyed, I’m just trying to say she isn’t good for a friend”
” I-I…” Sharron started.
The landline rang down the hall interrupting Sharron’s reply. They both looked at each other. “Who could be calling at this ungodly hour?” They each thought

The phone rang and stopped.
“Grrrrrrgh……” it started again, ringing for the second time.
They both stood up and went to the hallway with Sharron clinging on to him in fear. When they got there, Steve looked at Sharron who only gave him a slight nod indicating he should pick up.
” Hello, Steve Davies on the line” he said in to the phone
“Hey girlie…..” Jessy shouted in to the phone. Steve’s eyes flashed in anger when he heard the voice and shoved the phone to her chest. ” Your girlfriend is calling” he said through gritted teeth and walked out
“Why now Jess” She gro-ned into the phone.
You not gonna believe, I met this handsome dude and he’s steakingly rich. I wonder what he came to do in this lowlife club” Jessy shouted into the phone to be heard over the blaring speakers.
” And what am I supposed to do with that information?? besides didn’t I warn you not to call me?” Sharron asked
” Save it girl, are you trying to say I shouldn’t call when I need someone to talk to? I don’t care if you have a husband, I am going to call you anytime I like”
“Jess……..” she started
“OMG! OMG!! ” Jessica scre-med interrupting her. “He’s coming over to me, gotta go, see you later, bye” She said in a rush and hung up.
Sharron sighed and shook her head, putting the phone back to it’s rightful place.
” How am I going to pacify Steve this night?” She thought rubbing her forehead.
“Steve, I’m so sorry” She started as she entered the bedroom. “I warned her not to call me”
“What kind of friend calls a housewife in the middle of the night? He shouted causing her to flinch a little
“You know we’re best friends” she said in a small voice
“And me?? Who am I to you? Just your husband? He asked looking in to her eyes.
“No no” she answered quickly, her eyes wide. “I promise, this will be the last time it’ll happen” She promised even though she knows Jessica would never listen to her.
“He scoffed and covered himself well with the duvet unfazed
She climbed in to the other side of the bed and slept leaving a measurable distance between them.
Next morning, Steve prepared for work obviously still angry with his wife. He owns a very big org-nization that deals with fabric but he goes to work early to lay a good example for his workers. He looked at his wife sprawled out on the bed sleeping and debated whether to wake her or leave her. Eventually the latter side won.
He walked out of the house and went to his garage eyeing the cars to select which to take work. Looking at the cars, one would know he has a very good taste. He entered his black Land Rover and honked for his gateman to open the gate.
The sound of his car horn was what woke Sharron but before she got to the door, he had drove out, only his car tail headlight could be seen.
” What have you gotten me into Jessica” She muttered under her breath and went back in,side to continue sleeping.
