I was sitting on the couch in my house drinking water when my phone rang.

I didn’t bother to ask of which station.

I t-rn on the TV and my eyes nearly popped out of its socket.

I rushed to my room and pick my car key.
I opened my secret drawer and brought oh a pistol.
She is making me use this after so many years.
I hurried downstairs and enter my car.
You have to make it Jiso, she was shot on the back, that requires an urgent
surgery am sure .
Even if the bullet has been remove her bone need to be stitch up.
I connect my earphone to my phone.
That bitch just test my patient.

📲Sam track down her location and update me immediately 📲i said

📲ma’am Miss Jiso is having a tough time here, do you prefer to go now rather
than the hospital? 📲he asked.

He is right though.
I turned the car around and drove straight to the hospital.
Few minutes later i got to the hospital and rush straight upstairs towards Jayden’s
office there i met Bryan sitting on a chair crying profusely.
I went close to him and bend to his height.
“Why are you crying Baby? I asked
“Aunt” he called and hugged me to himself still crying.
“Don’t worry dear, your mom will be just fine” I assured him though I wasn’t
sure.

I enter the ward just then she was been push out on the stretcher.
Jayden was sweating profusely with his eyes red .

“She have a low chance of surviver Elle, i am confuse, haven’t been confuse like
this in my wh0le life” he said and tears roll down his cheek.
Seems like he has been suppressing it for long.
“Its okay Jay, Jiso need you now just look at your son what will he do if he sees
you like this? Come on go in there and save your love i know you can do this” I
said and he nodded.
He left and I sat beside Bryan.
I hope that the operation goes well.

THE CHOI’S MANSION

“What did you just say? Mr Choi asked his wife.
“Its all over the news, She was shot on the back and have a little chance of
surviver” Mrs Choi replied
“That’s not possible,oh that innocent child but am sure Jayden won’t back down
so easily” Mr choi said and the woman shrugged.

I wore my glove and said a little prayer.
This is my twelve years of being a doctor and the first time I’ll be getting scared
while operating.
Is she planning on leaving me?
Why isn’t she responding to any of the treatment I did earlier.
“Scalpel” I orders and the nurse hand It over.
I careful open up her back.
Indeed the bone was affected like I predict, I disinfect it and started stitching it
up.
Two hours later I was through with the operation.
I checked her and she was sleeping.
I hope this turn out good.
I walk out of the theater after Jiso was transferred to my private VIP ward.
“Dad” Bryan called when he saw me.
“Danielle, please call Runa to come and take Bryan back home he shouldn’t be
here” I said and walk in,side my office.
I went to the washroom and wash my hand with a liquid soap.
I looked at my reflection In the mirror and sigh.
“Do you think she’s gonna make it? I asked no one in particular.
I walk back in,side the office and headed to Jiso.
I walk in,side the ward and she was sleeping with oxygen for support.
“Are you really going to do this? I asked
“Are you going to leave me and Bryan all alone?
“I want to see how you look while pregnant, I want you to bear me all my kids
Jiso.
I want you to be there future Mrs Choi of the Choi empire.
I want you to be the only woman in my heart Jiso, if i lose you I’ll die” I said
and hold her hand crying my eyes out.

I rushed in,side the hospital like a maniac.
Wait just tell me this isn’t happening, I want all this to be a dream.
I look up and saw Danielle and Bryan walking towards me.
“Where is she? Where is my Jiso” I asked holding the hem of her cloth.
“Calm down Runa”
“Don’t tell me to calm the f-ck down when she is in there fighting for her life, is
she dead already? Or on oxygen?
What the hell is going on? I yelled.
“Jayden is through with the operation, don’t worry Jiso won’t give up that easily”
she replied and I broke down in tears.
“I can’t bear to lose her, we have been together from childhood.
Even though am still young at that time her mother assigned her to me.
She told me to take care of her like my younger sister.
I failed her, I failed her mother, I didn’t protect her like I supposed to” I cried.
“This is not the time to shed tears in front of Bryan, if you summit yourself like
this what will he do?
Get your ass up and clean that fu3king tears on your face” She yelled.

Its been two weeks now and Jiso haven’t wake up.
Jayden have been by her side this this days crying without even eating nor seeing
his son.
“Where the hell is that bastard that shot her? Dan asked pacing around the room.
I called Dan and Romeo to inform them about what happened.
“Sam is tracking her down, don’t worry she will beg for me mercy, both of
them” I replied.
I put a call across to the Seoul prosecutor office.

📲I want you to arrest Gem in the less five minutes and bring her directly to my
house 📲I said and hang up.

“Aunt Runa, is mom okay? Bryan asked Runa
“Your mom will be just fine baby, needless to worry” she replied
Sam called and I quickly picked up.

“I’ll be living now, she has been found” I said and picked my phone.

“I will” I replied and went out with Dan.
Sam forward the needed information and we headed to JeJu island.
Within two hours we were already in the island.
I double check the structure of the house Sam send me and started searching for
it.
She sure knows how to hide well.
“Are you sure that this house is here in the island? Dan asked
“Sam never give me a wrong information” I replied and we continue searching.
You just have to stay strong Jiso , I’ll make those who hurt you to pay tenfold.

💎 Jayden POV 💎
It has been two weeks now, Jiso haven’t wake up yet.
I have been here with her all through.
I still have hope that day she will wake up.
I went to the wash room and carried a water in,side a small deep plate with a
towel and went back in,side.
I put the towel in,side the semi hot water and squeeze it after which I place it on
her forehead.
“If you know how much am suffering right now, you will get up from this
slumber my love” I said and clean my eyes.
When are you going to wake up?
After cleaning her face with the towel, I stood up and went in,side my office.
I sat down on my chair and place my head on the table.
I feel sick, in distance time I fell asleep.
A knock came in and i stood up immediately my mind quickly flash to Jiso.
“Come in” I said and a nurse came in.
“Sir, your…..your friend I saw her body move while cleaning her up” she said
and I quickly rushed out of the office.
She moved?
I went in,side her ward but there is nothing like a body movement.
She was still like she was before.
“But Sir, I swear she did move” the nurse persist.
I place my stethoscope on her chest to feel her heart race.
“You can go now” I told the nurse and sat beside Jiso.
“If you did move like she said, why are you still now? Don’t you want to see me?
Your Jayden? The love of your life? Your son’s father?
Did you forgot that today is my birthday?
Won’t you gift me anything on this day?
Make this day a perfect memories one for me please” I cried
I buried my face on her side and a hand touched my hair.
I looked up almost immediately to see her pale face staring at me.
“Baby,you’re awake” I said happily.
“I can’t give up that easily and you know that” she said and smile a little showing
her teeth.
I k-ssed her cheek softly.
“I can’t believe this, you really stay for us” I asked happily.
“I can’t leave you and Bryan alone, I still have a lot to do on earth Jayden.
Who will bear your children if I leave? She asked and I smile.
I knew it, she will never leave me alone.
“Keep calm, don’t talk too much” I said and disconnect the oxygen.
I press the bell beside the bed and a nurse rushed in.
“Get her something to eat” I said and she left.
The both of us keep staring at each other with a burning passion of love.
I don’t know what I would have done if anything have happened to her.
I place her on drip and inject it with a pak reliever in case she feel any pain on
her back.
She close her eyes and slept off.
I watch her as she sleep.
Haven’t been this happy , watching her sleep soundly is all that matters.
I put a call across to Runa.

📲Bring Bryan to the hospital, his mother just woke up 📲I said

📲Really, we are coming right away she replied and I hang up

💎 Runa POV 💎
I rushed to Bryan room and inform him about the news .
The boy was so happy.
I wore him his cloth and rushed downstairs.
“Romeo, Jiso is awake” I said
“Seriously? He asked and I nodded
“Let’s….let’s go” he said and rushed towards the door.
I can’t believe this, my Jiso is back.
