I smiled and walked into the building.
I went to the restroom, arrange the files in my bag and went to class.
I’m not just gonna go to them like that.
I’ll have to act..
During lunch time, I’ll pass beside Elena or any of the DELORS then I’ll purposely drop the file.
Either of them will pick it up and read it eventually.
Then I’ll play hærd to get.
Darren might consult another sibling DNA test.
But all the same, I’ll manipulate the result.
I just have to be alert.

“Sophie I’m already late for school” I said to Sophie who held me down.
“I’m skipping school today so you should to ” she pouted.
“no way ” I stated.
“then let’s watch and see ” she seethed.
Mom already left for work and I didn’t even know when Sophie took the house keys and lock all the doors.
“just give me the keys and when I come back, I’ll take you shopping ” I said, trying to convince her to give me.
She stuck her tongue out at me.
“no no no no ” she sang.
Great! This is what you get for falling in love with a crazy girl.
I’ll just call the guys.

I paced back and forth in my room, feeling sophisticated.
I can’t believe I have to travel and leave my friends.
Moms sick with cancer so she’s flying out for treatment and I’ll have to go with her.
I sat on my bed and loosened my tie.
I’ll be travelling tomorrow so I just have today to catch up with the guys.
I picked up my car keys and ran out.

I slowly lift up my head and opened my eyes, wincing in pain at the headache I’ve got.
I looked around and noticed I was still in the club.
Gosh! I slept here last night.
I’m wasted.
I staggered to my feet, hung my jacket on my shoulder and walked outta the club.
I got in,side my car and drove home.
I’m gonna skip school today.

👉 Daren’s P. O. V👈

“why are the guys not yet in school ” Elena asked.
“well Odelle is been held at home by Sophie so he’s not coming ” I said and she nodded.
“crazy Sophie ” she said and we chuckled.
“what about Scott and Lorenzo ” she asked.
“don’t know but…” I trailed off as Scott rush into the class.
“why the disturb Scott ” the professor asked but Scott said nothing but walked up to Elena and I.
“we need to talk ” he said and we got up and followed him out.

“so you’re flying out with your mom for treatment ” Elena asked and he nodded.
“OK man, just take care ” I said and touched his shoulder.
“I’m gonna miss you ” Elena pouted and hugged him.
Her eyes were red and glistening with tears.
“don’t even think of crying” I threatened and she started sniffing.
Sniffing, sniffing, sniffing and boom!
She burst out crying like a baby and Lorenzo and I chuckled.
“it’s not like I’m going forever, I’ll be back ” Scott said and hugged her.
“OK guys, I need to go pack up ” he said and we shared a brief hug then he left
“shhh it’s OK ” I cooed Elena as she rested her head on my chest.

“yeah man, I’m going tomorrow ” I said into the phone.
I was on the line with Lorenzo.
He said he wasted himself at the club last night.
“no prob man, take care ” I said and hung up.
I dialed Odelle’s number and he picked up immediately.
“hey man ”
“I didn’t call for a chit chat so just keep shut and listen ” I said before he’ll start blabbing.
“so I’m travelling tomorrow with mom for her treatment ” I blurted out.
“oh OK man, make sure you take care of yourself and no playing around with girls over there ” he said and I chuckled.
“OK got it bye and tell Sophie bye for me ” I said.
“bye my love ” I heard Sophie’s crazy voice and I smiled.
Everything about her is crazy.
“OK bye my cup cake ” I said and hung up.
Time to pack up for the travel.

“why did you have to call Scott your love ” I asked Sophie and she smirked.
“is someone jealous ” she teased.
“you wish ” I blurted out and she just laughed.
“and why the hell did he call you cup cake ” I asked and she burst out laughing.
“now this is what we call jealousy ” she teased and laughed to herself.
“OK where were we ” she asked.
“watching TV and cuddling ourselves ” I told her and she smiled and ran into my arms.

“I’ll order our food ” Daren said and I nodded and sniffed .
I sat alone waiting for Daren and I sighted Tessa coming towards me.
Gosh I’m not in the mood.
Just when I thought she was gonna come seat with me she passed by and something dropped from her bag.
It was some files.
I looked up to call her but she was already far from me.
I picked up the files and kept them on the table.
I was feeling bored from waiting for Daren so I picked up one of the files and opened them.
My eyes almost popped out when I saw it.
It was a DNA result stating Daren and Tessa are siblings.
What the actual f-ck?
