Tessa is Daren’s long lost sister?
Oh my God! I can’t believe this.
Then why did she lie to me at the first place?
“gimme that ” Tessa said and snatched the DNA result from me.
She took the other file from the table and glared at me then left.
Oh my!
“here’s the food ” Daren said, placing the tray on the table.
Should I tell Daren?
Of course! He’ll be so happy.
“Daren I think I’ve found your sister ” I said and he spat out the water he was drinking.
“what ” he exclaimed and I nodded.
“who’s she ” he asked, his face beaming with happiness.
“it’s Tessa ” I blurted out.
“uhn”
“yes but I think she’s trying to hide it, she passed by minutes ago and dropped some files, it was a DNA result stating she’s your sister ” I explained.
He sprung up, looking everywhere for Tessa I guess.
“there she is ” I pointed towards the door coz Tessa was leaving the cafeteria.
“Rosa ” Daren called and ran after her and I did too.
“Tessa wait up ” Daren said but Tessa paid deaf ears.
“stop ” Daren yelled as he caught up with Tessa.
Tears already started rolling down her cheeks.
“Rosa ” Daren said, his voice low.
“oh my God Rosa ” he said and wrapped his hands around her.
“I’m so sorry Rosa, I’m sorry ” Daren cried on Tessa’s shoulder.
“I didn’t mean to let you slide down, I’m sorry ” he pleaded amidst tears.
I didn’t know when tears started streaming down my cheeks too,it’s so emotional.
I’m so happy for Daren.
He disengaged from the hug and wiped Tessa’s tears.
“please don’t cry okay, I’m sorry ” he said and Tessa sniffed.
“I’ve missed you so much ” Tessa said lowly and they shared another hug.
“thank God you’re okay ” Daren said.
Daren turned to me smiling.
“are you coming ” he asked.
“where ” I asked
“my house, we have some catching up to do ” he said and I smiled.
“no thanks, I’ve gotta go help my mom ” I said and he nodded.
“OK take care ” he said and pecked my forehead and they left.
Now come to think of it.
Why did Tessa lie at first?
Didn’t she know b4?
Daren didn’t even bother to see the DNA result, he’s too overwhelmed with happiness.
All the same, I still don’t trust that Tessa of a girl.
I brought out my phone and placed a call to doc Tony.
Tony is our general doc, I mean the DELORS doc.
“hey Tony, I need you to consult a DNA test of Daren and a girl called Tessa “I said into the phone and he chuckled.
“why what’s funny ” I asked.
“how can I consult a DNA test without the persons blood or materials ” he asked and I hit my head.
“OK don’t worry, I’ll call you when I’ve the stuffs ” I said and hung up
OK how do I get Tessa’s blood, or better still, hair.
I can get for Daren’s anytime.
I hailed a cab and headed to Daren’s.
I need to be sure that Tessa is not fooling Daren.

Sophie and I are now at a shop rite.
“Odell I was thinking that since Scott is travelling, I could take his place ” she said and I arched an eyebrow.
“you know in the DELORS, I’ll take the place of s, Sophie ” she said and I nodded.
“no prob, anything for you ” I said and pecked her.
“thanks ” she said.
“so where next ” I asked
“cinema ” she said and we ran to my car.
And off to a cinema.

I arrived and went in to meet Daren and Tessa on a couch.
Daren was cuddling Tessa.
“oh Elena ” Daren said smiling and Tessa smiled too.
But that smile seems fake.
OK how do I get her hair?
“hey Tessa, I mean Rosa ” I said and sat beside them making Daren let go of Tessa.
“now that you’re Rosa, we’re all gonna spoil you ” I said and she chuckled.
“what about your parents ” I asked.
“she was adopted ” Daren ch¡pped in.
“oh ”
“so how did you know Daren was your brother ” I asked.
“well… ”
“she didn’t know until she found a file that states she was adopted by her parents so she was prompted to do the DNA to know if I was her brother ” Daren said.
“oh so she has told you everything ” I asked and he nodded
“so why didn’t you remember that you had a missing brother ” I asked.
“I think I had a memory loss back then but when I found out about everything now, I’m starting to remember ” she said and I nodded.
“your hair looks tangled ” I said, brushing it with my hand.
I took some tiny strands of her hair and folded it in my hand.
I put the tiny hair strands in my back pocket and I stood up to leave.
“gotta go ” I said and they nodded.
“you dumbass ” I said and ruffled Daren’s hair thereby taking some strands of his hair.
I smiled in my heart at my achievement.
“bye ” I said and walked out through the door.
I hailed a cab straight to the hospital and gave doc Tony everything.
“so when will the result be out ” I asked.
“I’ll get to you tomorrow ” he said and I nodded then left.
What a day!
I hailed a cab home.
I arrived and shook the key into the keyh0le and went into my house.
Mom wasn’t home yet so I went up to my room.
I freshened up and laid on my bed then dose off.

I opened my eyes and my nose met with the sweet aroma of bacon and egg.
Oh mom is back.
I got down and went downstairs.
“right in time ” mom said as I pecked her cheek.
We had dinner and I retired to my room.
I laid down and slept off.

.
I woke up the next day, freshened up and ate breakfast with mom before she left.
I just can’t wait to see the DNA results.
I dressed up in a tank top and a jean, put on my sandals, took my bag and went to the hospital.
I went straight to Tony’s office and he smiled then handed me an envelope.
“thanks ” I said and left his office.
I reached outside the hospital and breathed in and out.
Now I’m gonna open it.
I wonder if it’s a negative or positive.
