Irene returned back to the table where she met Elina and Sarah still talking.
She sat slowly and picked an apple. Her love for apples was just immeasurable.
Jasper also walked into the dining and sat opposite her. He stared at her but as she raised her eyes to look at him, he quickly diverted his gaze.
Elina turned to stare at his son.
“Jasper, any news about the vampires” she asked.
“Uh, yes Mom” he replied and sipped from his juice.
“Then spill it. Why didn’t you tell me?” Elina asked with annoyance in her voice.
Jasper sighed.
“I looked into a lot of things. Umm, there was a man who was the head of the vampires. He was killed by his nephew because he wanted to be the head. And he did. When he became the head, he sent people after his cousins. I don’t know their names but I only got one of them name. Henry!”
Sarah eyes shot wide opened. She turned and stared at Elina.
“That’s Robby’s brother. The other name is Robby. His cousin was Bob. He told me about Bob but I never met him”
“Good, we got their names. Robby ran away from the group but Henry was caught, by us”
“Is he alive?” Kylie asked.
“Yeah, he is. Someone said they found him in the woods, probably doing what he loves the best, hunting”
“Dad’s alive! That’s good mom” Kylie exclaimed.
“I know Kylie. There’s nothing we can do” Sarah replied.
“Any other thing?” Elina asked her son.
“I’m done. The vampires still think Robby’s dead” he concluded.
Sarah nodded.
“I can’t believe Robby’s alive”
“Yeah, I can finally meet my dad” she said smiling.
Jasper lowered his gaze.
“Wait… You are the demigod. You should also be careful. Any vampire that finds you will take over from Bob. A lot of people wants that”
Kylie squeezed her face.
“That’s bad. Where do you get all this information from?”
“I have a lot of vampire friends. We live together”
“And they don’t know that you are a witch” Kylie said as her l-ips curved into a smile.
“No, they don’t” he said, smirking.
“Kylie. I hope you understand what I’ve been protecting you from”
She nodded.
“But I’ll still find my dad” she said and stood up.
“Kylie?!”
“Kylie?!”
“Yes, that’s my decision. Once I’m on vacation. I’ll spend the whole winter looking for my dad. You don’t need to come with me. If I don’t find him, I’ll come back” she said and left Elina’s chamber.
They all sighed deeply.

Sarah drove Kylie back home.
They got into the house and quickly went to their separate rooms.
Kylie had her bath and changed into her pyjamas.
She laid on the bed and closed her eyes to sleep.
Immediately, she heard her phone ring.
She picked it up and saw it doesn’t have a caller ID.
She doesn’t know who it was.
“Hello!” She said and placed the phone on her ear.
“Hey Kylie”
She heard her name from the other side of the phone.
“Okay, who is this?” She asked, frowning.
“It’s jasper” he said.
“Oh, where did you get my contact from?” She asked and fell back on the bed.
“A magician never tells his secrets” he replied.
But you’re not a magician. You are a witch” Kylie rolled her eyes.
“Fine, I got it from your mother” he replied.
“Obviously” she replied.
“You have exams tomorrow. I think it’s time to sleep” he said.
“Yeah, I was about to before you called. Duh!”
Kylie heard his soft chuckle and also smiled.
“Good night then”
“Good night” she replied and disconnected the call.
She placed her phone on the lamp table and slept off.

The next day, she did her exam. Some of the students were prepared for this one.
Throughout the whole week, she did her exam well and also avoided Jackson.
Friday, the last day of exam. Everyone was happy. They could finally go on vacation.
Kylie was in front of her locker when Jackson appeared to her.
“What do you want Jackson?” She asked and slammed her locker.
“You’ve been avoiding me, why?” He asked.
“I’ve been busy with exams” she replied and walked away from him.
He also followed her out of the school where Cindy and Lilly were waiting for her.
Jackson pulled her arm and drew her closer to him.
“You’ve been avoiding me since you got to know the real me. You said you were cool with it” he said softly.
Kylie freed herself from his grip and stepped back a little.
“Yes, I am. I’m just stressed out a little. I’ll see you on Monday. I have to go somewhere this weekend” she said and turned to leave.
Cindy and Lilly walked up to her.
“Hey, wanna hang with us tonight. Just us!”
“No Lilly, I have plans already. Catch you guys on Monday” she said and walked out on them.
“What’s up with her?” Lilly asked.
“I don’t know. I just don’t know”
Suddenly, a car pulled over in front of her.
The car was very classy. Everyone stared at the car, wondering who would alight from the car.
Kylie frowned and decided to change path.
“Hey Kylie!”
She stopped and turned to see Jasper.
“Jasper?” She murmured.
Jasper walked towards her and hugged her.
“It’s been a long time” he said shouting, to get people’s attention.
“What are you doing Jasper?” She said slowly.
“Nothing, just acting” he replied slowly.
Jasper held her w–st and pulled her close to him. Their body was rubbing against each other.
“Let’s go out. The weekend is ours!” He said and opened the door for her.
Kylie turned and saw Jackson staring at her. He was very angry.
She couldn’t help but enter the car.
Jasper turned and also faced the ladies.
“Hey Ladies, you are all looking so stunning” he said and also entered the car.
They started blushing.
Cindy turned to face her brother after the car drove away.
“What did you do to her?”
“I did nothing!”
“Isn’t it obvious that she has dumped you?” Cindy yelled.
“I’ll talk to her later. Excuse me!” He said and left.
He felt humiliated as his girlfriend left him for another hot guy in front of everyone.
“But that guy is so cute!” Lilly muttered to Cindy.
“Yeah, I can tell” Cindy rolled her eyes and left angrily.

Jasper drove to Kylie to her house.
He pulled over in front of her house.
“Why did you come to my school?” She asked.
“I just wanted to see you” he replied.
“Couldn’t you at least wait till I get home?” She asked.
“I understand Kylie. I just.. wanted to act. It’s been long since I met real people. My school is dumb and doesn’t have pretty girls”
Kylie laughed.
“Obviously. Thanks for driving me home” she said and opened the door.
“Wait Kylie. Are you still going to find your dad?” He asked.
“Yes” she replied.
“I don’t think you should go now. This timing is bad. The forest is filled with vampires and they are desperately looking for you”
“They won’t know that I’m the demigod. It’s not written in my forehead”
Jasper dress his nose closer to her neck and took a sharp sniff.
“Your smell is appealing. Don’t go, when the forest is clear. I’ll tell you” he said.
“Ohh, thank you” she said and lowered her gaze.
“I think your boyfriend is angry with me for stealing you away” Jasper chuckled.
“Yeah, it’s obvious on his face. Don’t do that again” she said.
“Yes, my lady. Take care of yourself” he said and drove off.
Kylie smiled and went into her house.
She entered and slammed the door hærd.
She ran into her room and threw her bag.
“Kylie?”
“I know you are here Jackson” she said and turned to stare at him.
“Why did you leave with that guy?” He asked.
“He’s my friend. He just came to say hi” she replied.
“He hugged you and held your w–st” he said.
Kylie rolled her eyes.
“Yeah,he did. So?”
Jackson swallowed hærd and sighed deeply.
Kylie picked her phone when she heard it ring.
It was her mom.
“Hey mom?”
“Kylie? Where are you?” She asked
“Home? What’s up?” Kylie asked. She got scared because of the tone her mother used.
“Sasha is on her way. She will be there any moment”
“Granny is coming over. Wow!”
“Yes. Make sure the house look tidy” she said.
“Yes Mom” she disconnected the call.
Kylie dropped her phone and stared at Jackson.
“You need to go”
“We still need to talk Kylie”
“Fine. Come later in the night. Right now, I’m busy” she said and left the room.
Jackson jumped out of the window and left.
