EXCLUSIVELY ON DREAME

As Sean walked into the hall, it was dark. He couldn’t see anything.

“What brings you here Specie?”
He heard a voice and turned if he could see anyone but couldn’t.

Suddenly, he saw someone lighting a match stick. He lit a firewood and lit the remaining woods in the hallway.

“Hi grandpa!”

“Oh, nice. I’m your grandpa” Robby said and walked towards him.

He remained silent and didn’t say anything for some seconds.
“Why are you here?”

“Mom wanted me to tell you something…”

“What happened to Kylie?” Robby quickly asked. He was more concerned about Kylie. He never liked the Charlie nor this hybrid standing before him.

“Nothing serious, my fa… I mean, Charlie disturbed her today. She said she heard his voice telling her that it was just the beginning. I know he’s gonna strike soon but I came up with a very good plan which is gonna work grandpa”

“Can you go straight to the point already?!” Robby asked, almost yelling.

“Sure. I hired someone who’s gonna have s*x with my dad. He’s going to become weak after that. We need all specie to be present to attack him” he explained.

“I see. So to keep it short, you want me and my men present at the scene”

“Exactly grandpa” Sean replied.

“I’ll ready my men. Tell Kylie to text me when it’s time” he stood up.

“Thanks grandpa!” Sean smiled and walked out of the throne room.

Robby secretly rolled his eyes. He wished he could stop him from calling him that but he can’t. He shook his head and walked away.

“Jay!!! Ready our weapons!”

Sean barged into the house and saw Kylie and Jasper.
Allison and Gabriel were also there.

“Dude! What are you doing here?” He asked with a frown.

“What do you expect me to do dude? I can’t just sit and watch all this happen in front of me. I helped you find Melissa huh? So I can help, I want to help”

Sean shook his head and grabbed his friend shoulder.
“No, no! My dad pinned your hand to the walk with a knife just because he was looking for me. I have no idea what he’ll do next especially when he sees that a human is part of all this”

“Fine, I understand. I’ll stay here with Josh” he replied.

“Thanks man. Once I get a call from…”
Sean’s phone rang. It was Melissa.

“Hey Melissa! How’s it going?”

“I… I think you should come over already” she said with a shivering voice. It was like she was in fear.

“Is everything okay there?” He asked but didn’t get any response. Instead he heard the phone beeping.

“What did she say?” Kylie asked.

“I think it’s time for us to attack” he replied without certainty.

“Then let’s leave!!!” Jasper clapped his hands and they all head out.

“Baby, you can’t come with us. You should protect yourself and your little brother” Jasper said.

“No, I want to help you and mom. You need my help” Allison cried out.

“I know you want to help Allison but you can’t. Just stay here! Okay?” He kissed Allison’s forehead and left.

Allison fummed and turned only to see Gabriel.
“At least, I’m here!” He said.

“You don’t understand Gabriel. I really want to help them” Allison said.

Gabriel smiled and walked towards her.
“They will be fine. Your brother has a good plan and I’m sure it would work out just fine”
She nodded and leaned her head on his chest.

Kylie and the other walked towards Charlie’s house. The witches, werewolves and vampires were present. They had to work together to get rid of him. Kylie was still unsure of all this. She knew the plan won’t work out.

“How many minutes do we have to walk?” Diego asked.

“Just five to ten minutes left” Sean replied.
They all walked on the empty and dark street, holding their weapons tight, passing through bushes.

“I still don’t have a good idea about this guys” Kylie said.

Jasper noticed that Kylie wasn’t looking too good. She was looking like she was scared.
He moved towards her and grabbed her arm.

“What’s wrong darling? You aren’t looking so good” she said.

“I have a bad feeling about this. It seem like it’s not gonna work. It’s like…”

“You trust your son. This us going to work out just fine, you just have to relax”

“You don’t understand this sh*t Jasper. Fine!!! Let’s just watch and see” she said and walked away.
Jasper sighed deeply and continued walking.

Finally, they got to the house. It was dark outside.
“Why is the light off?” One of them asked. They were looking round the house, especially the door.

“I should probably call Melissa now” Sean said and grabbed his phone again. He called her number but she didn’t pick up.

“She isn’t picking up” he murmured.

“Why don’t you try again?” Robby said.

Sean nodded and tried again. She finally picked up.
“Hey Melissa!”

“Oh Sean…”

“Dad?” He called out. Everyone shot their eyes wide opened, wondering who answered the call. They thought Charlie would have been long gone by now.

“Why did you…”

“Have you seen my little present for you Sean?” He asked.

“Present? What present?” He asked and stared at everybody.

Suddenly, the light came on.
They saw Melissa tied to a chair, with her blood dripping from her body. Charlie had slit her throat and clawed her body already.

Sean slowly dropped his phone. Everyone gasped and moved away from Melissa’s body

They never believed Charlie would know about their plans.
Sean was disappointed that his plan didn’t work.

Sean suddenly threw the doors open. He stepped out of the house with a weird smile on his face.

“Welcome everyone! Hello son!”

“Why did you kill her? Was it necessary?” Sean asked and moved towards his father.

“I knew this was gonna end up like this” Kylie said and everyone turned to face her.

“Then why didn’t you say anything?” Robby asked.

“Well, I did but someone refused to hear me out” she said and turned to face Jasper.

“What next? Charlie is gonna kill everyone of us”

“No, he won’t. I knew this won’t happen that’s why I made a special plan. What time is it?”

“It’s half past three” one of them replied.

“Good. I’ve calculated how many hours I’m gonna fight with Charlie before it’s sunset”

“Okay? I have no idea what you are talking about aunt” Hazel said.

“Fine, I’ll explain slowly. You all know that Charlie’s powers are useless when the sun is out. What I want to do is to fight with him slowly and make everything happened slowly while time goes by quickly. He won’t know when the sun would rise so he would be weak. Then we can all attack him because he can’t” she said.

“Woah! I like that plan”

“Sounds more matured”

“I wish that was the first plan”

Kylie smiled.

“Well, I’ll need everyone’s help. I may not be strong enough to beat him. Did you get that potion I asked Hazel?” She turned to.face Hazel.

“Yes, superstrength potion, coming right up” she replied and gave it to Kylie.

Kylie grabbed it and stared at it.
“Nice one, we can all do this. I trust you all”

“Just be careful Kylie” Diego said.

“Kylie wasn’t wrong after all, that’s my daughter” Robby said.

“Thank you. Now, go into the woods and find somewhere to hide. You have to make this difficult for him while he’s gonna pursue me”

They nodded and held their weapons tight.
“Let’s go!”
They all went into the woods and started setting the traps they could do before it’s time.

Kylie just stood from distance, watching as father and son argued.

“Oh please dad!! I told you before and I’m telling you again, I don’t want to stay with you anymore. Do you want us to settle this case in court?”

“You are a fool Sean, a fool you are. How can you want to stay with your mother?” Charlie pouted his lips towards her.
Kylie was listening to what they are saying even if they are whispering. She could see the anger in his eyes.

“Where are the others?” He finally asked and walked out on Sean.

“Hey dad! Don’t go near mom!” Sean almost yelled.

“Relax, she’s my mate, my mate who betrayed me. I can’t believe you could so this to me Kylie!” He said with his hands behind him.

“I didn’t do anything wrong. I just protect my son and family, that’s all” she said.

“Well, that just got you in so much trouble. You think your son’s prank can work on me. Setting me up with a dimwit?!”

Kylie didn’t flicker. She was just waiting for the perfect time to strike.

“He’s your son. He’s trying not to be like you but trying to be more like me” Kylie spoke softly.

Charlie frowned.
“I see. He’s my son, the hybrid who betrayed me. That was not cool” he growled at Kylie angrily.
