Kylie and Lina watched the kids as they played. They also spoke about some random things even if Lina didn’t want to talk to her at all.

“Mom, I’m tired already” Josh ran to Kylie.

She touched his nose and shook her head.
“The almighty Josh is tired. Do you want to go home now?” She asked and he nodded.

“Fine, let’s go” she said and stood up.

“Wait, I want to say bye to my new friends” he ran back to the playground. She watched as he shook hands with some of the young children that were on the field, especially Dylan. They both ran back together towards the bench.

“Mom meet my new friend, Dylan”

She squatted in front of Dylan.
“Hello Dylan, I’m Kylie”

“Hello madam Kylie” he said and she gave a soft chuckle.

“Just call me Kylie” she said and stood up.
She turned to face Lina.

“See you on Saturday, Lina” she said and left with Josh.

Lina smirked and turned to face Dylan.
“Ready to go home?” She asked him and he shook his head. He ran back to the field and continued playing.

Kylie drove Josh back home. She needed to go back to the hangout to talk to the travel man.
“How did you know Dylan mother?” He asked.

“She was my childhood friend” he replied and squeezed her face a little. She wasn’t sure of what she said. Lina wouldn’t call her a friend.

“Woah! Then It is possible for me to meet Dylan again huh?” He asked.

She didn’t want to say no, so she said yes.

“Yes!” Josh squealed happily. Kylie’s lips curved into a smile as she concentrated on the road.

Few minutes after dropping Josh at home with his older sister, she drove into the woods.
She saw something that got her shocked.

“Woah! I can’t believe it” she said as she walked closer to what surprised her.

“Shocked to see me?” Elina asked.

“Yes, my lady. I’m very shock to see you here at the hangout” Kylie jokingly bowed.

“Here’s your tea mom…”
Kylie saw Jasper walking out of the kitchen. He handed his mother a cup of hot tea.

“Hey baby”

“You are also here” she folded her arms.

“Yes, yes I am. I promised you that I would help you convince my mom to become the head and here she is” he said, stretching his hands to his mother.

“Nice one baby… I need to talk to the travel man now. So bye” she turned and walked away.

“What about Josh?” He yelled as she walked away.

“Home!” She yelled in reply.
She took a sharp corner, straight to the travel man’s room.

“Come on mom, let me introduce you to some of the new faces around” Jasper said as he led his mother down he stairs.

Kylie got to the door. She didn’t want to repeat the mistake of barging into the wise one room without knocking.
She stood by the door and cleared her throat.

“I’m here again, travel man” she said.

“Come in young one!” She heard a faint reply. She got into the room and saw him on his usual spot, the Rocky chair.

“So what have you gathered?” He asked, stretching his hands out for her to sit. She sat comfortably, facing him. She had one million and one questions to ask him about the book.

“Okay, I understand the story you told me yesterday and I believe it. Why did the king die?” She asked.

“He was too old. He was more than two hundred thousand years” he said.

Kylie swallowed hard.
“How many children did he have then?” She asked.

“I don’t know. He had three wives and a lot of concubines. He had a lot of children” he replied.

“What about the seven chiefs. You said you were the youngest, what happened to the remaining six?”

“I wish I knew. They all locked me in the book so I had no idea what happened to them” he said in a sad voice.

“I’m really sorry” she said. She wanted to stop the questions already.
There was silent in the room for about ten seconds.

“So, what exactly do you want me to do?” Kylie asked.

The travel man fixed his gaze at her and smirked.
“Like I said, the three species have to sign a truce. There shouldn’t be any fight or quarrel between the three of them. And you Kylie, would be the new queen of the three species”

“No, no. It doesn’t have to be me. I read that part in the book and I can’t say yes. I don’t want to be the queen” she said and sprung up.

“I’m not forcing you Kylie. It’s part of the tradition. The stars in the sky can see all you’ve been doing and what you went through to get the three species together. The king would be so proud of you” he said.

Kylie shook her head. She didn’t like where this was leading to. She never wanted to be the leader of any specie.

“I will make them sign the truce but I’m not becoming any head. If you would excuse me” she said and head out of his room.

“You will be back Kylie” he murmured and closed his eyes to meditate. He also hoped he was doing the right thing.

“This is Mary and Julie… They are.” Jasper paused as he saw Kylie storming out of the hangout. She was looking so furious and not so happy.

“I have to go now. Bye mom, love you!” He quickly pecked her cheek and head out.

“Kylie! Baby!” He yelled as she walked towards the car.

“What? Tell me, what do you want Jasper?”

“What is wrong with you? Why are you acting weird and crazy? You wouldn’t want Josh to see you like this” he said, trying to calm her down.

She turned and banged her hand on the car.
“Argh!” She groaned loudly.

“Leave Jasper, I don’t want to hurt you” she said.

“Just tell me what’s wrong!” He said, walking towards her.

“I said leave!” She growled angrily at him. He saw her gold eyes and moved away from her.

“You are just thirsty Kylie. Just stay here and I’ll get you a catch. Gracefully, I’ve set a lot of traps just for you in the forest” he said and started walking towards one of the trap that wasn’t too far from the hangout. He found a dead antelope.

“Hmm, still fresh” he said and went back to Kylie.

“Follow me Kylie” he said but Kylie didn’t listen to him. She had no idea that anger would make her thirsty for blood.

Jasper saw that she wasn’t listening to him. He grabbed his neck chain and cut his skin. Immediately a drop of blood fell on the ground, she sniffed in fully and turned to face Jasper.

He slipped the chain back into his pocket and went to the catch. That was the only way to get her to the animal. She got to the antelope and devoured it.

Jasper sighed heavily.

“Do you know you just put your life at risk?” Kylie asked Jasper as they drove back home.

“If it’s for you, then it’s nothing” he said, smiling.

Kylie’s lips curved into a smile.
“You are the only one that understand me Jasper and that’s why I love you” she said.

“Haha… Now can you tell me what business you have with the travel man. What made you angry?”

She sighed and looked out the window.
“He wants me to be the queen of the three head. Does it even make sense?”

“No way…”

“I know right. Such stupid…”

“No, I mean no.. way. It’s such a great opportunity. You are going to be a legend and also appear in the history book. Isn’t that great?”

“No, no it’s not. I don’t like any of this. It doesn’t make any sense. I don’t want to be any queen at all. Just because I made the three species join back together again”

“Again? What are you talking about?” He asked, focusing on the road at the same time listening to his wife.

“I didn’t tell you that the witches, vampires and werewolves all came from one ancestor, more like a king”

“Huh?” He said. He didn’t understand what Kylie said.

“You won’t understand any way. I just have to prepare an agreement between three species and the heads would signed them. Dad, mom and Diego. There would be no fight nor dispute among the three again”

“Woah, love the idea. But you don’t have to go far. I can help you with what you want”

“How?” She asked jokingly.

“I have connections!” He almost yelled.

Kylie bursted out in laughter.
“Oh please, you have no friends Mr Jasper. You are just a one man man” she said.

“A one man man? Is that even a thing?” He frowned.

“Well, it’s my thing. My own thing” she said again and they both laughed.

“Very funny Kylie. I can’t just wait to eat dinner tonight” he said in a sweet tone.

“What type of dinner?” She furrowed her eyebrows because she didn’t understand the tone he used.

“Your food and… Other food”

“Uh uh… I’m not letting you touch my body tonight” she shook her head.

“Do I have to beg?” He pouted his lips.

“Stop behaving childish and drive. One man man…” Kylie said again and he laughed.
