Kylie was in front of her mirror applying her make-up and dressing her hair. Jasper laid on the bed, staring at his wife.

“Are you going to a party?” He asked.

“No, I told you it’s a baby shower” she paused to answer him. She turned back to the mirror applying her lip gloss.

“And you are so dressed up. Are you planning to take another husband?”

“If that’s how you’re gonna put it, then yes” she said. Jasper quickly sat up.

“What?” He yelled.

She grabbed he bag and moved closer to him.
“We have a reunion on Saturday. Make sure to invite all your witches or vampire friends. Ohh, i forgot, you don’t have friends” she smirked.

Jasper frowned and sprung up.
“Fine, I’ll invite them so that you’ll see that I have friends” he replied.

“It’s a deal then” she said and leaned forward. She kissed his lips and head out of the room.

Jasper quickly grabbed his phone and made some calls.
“Hey dude. Uh… I need your help. My wife thinks I’m friendless…” He said and head into the bathroom.

“Oh ladies, relax. Kylie would be here any moment from now” Cindy said. They waited outside Max’s house, waiting for Kylie.

“Oh, here she comes” Madison said and they all turned to see her driving towards them.

Kylie pulled over and stepped out of the car.
“Hey ladies, sorry I’m late” she said.

“It’s okay” Cindy said and hugged her.

She smiled when she saw Lina.
“How did you find your way here?”

“I followed Lilly” she said without showing any kind of expression.

“Oh, let’s go in already” she said and went to grab the gifts she got for the baby.

They all marched to the door step and pushed the doorbell.
They waited for am seconds before the door flung wide open. It was Max.

“Hey Kylie and… Her friends I don’t know” he said, glancing at Lilly and the others.

“Hi” they chorused. Everywhere was silent for about fifteen seconds before Kylie broke it.

“Congratulations” Kylie said.

“Thank you. Please come in” he said and led them into the house.

They saw his wife sitting in the sitting room with the baby on her chest.
“Oh my goodness, such a cute baby”

“Kylie? It’s nice to see you again and you brought some friends with you” she said glaring at Kylie friends.

Some of them wished they didn’t come at all.

“Congratulations” Lilly said with a smile.
The lady stood up and walked towards Lilly. She sniffed her and moved back.

“Werewolf”

She moved to Lina and sniffed her.
“Werewolf”

She moved towards Madison again.

“What are you doing Felisha?” Max asked, holding the baby.

She shot him a hard glare, making him quiet.

“Vampire… Tch” she rolled her eyes and sniffed Cindy.

“Vampire… Just great”

“They are my childhood friends”

“Sure, they are. They are all welcome. Please have your seat” Felisha tried to be nice.

They all say down quietly and presented their gifts for the baby.

“Thank you” she murmured and pushed the gifts aside.

“We’ll get going now”

“Oh no, you don’t have to go Kylie” Max said.

“No, it’s fine. I have somewhere to be. I guess this is an opportunity for me to invite you to our reunion coming up this Saturday”

“What reunion?” Felisha asked.

“We’ll be there. I heard about it” Max quickly said.

Kylie signaled the ladies and they all left the house.
“F*ck! What was that?” Lilly yelled.

“That lady is a crazy a** b!tch!!” Madison added.

“I regret coming to see them. She’s so rude” Cindy folded her arms.

“Calm down ladies, I saw your expression that’s why I had to leave there. Well, now we still have a lot of time. I need some hands in preparing the reunion”

“You’re lucky I got hands..” Lilly said and they all giggled.

Few days later…
Kylie was at the center of the woods. She was making preparation with Lina.

“I think it would be better if the chairs be facing this side. The view is much clearer and prettier” Lina said.

“Sure. Chairs facing right…” Kylie murmured and wrote the suggestion in her jotter.

“We are back! Everything for the meal is set” Cindy and Madison walked into the scene panting hard.

“That’s very good. But why are you breathing so hard?” Kylie furrowed her eyebrows.

“We ran. We raced”

“That’s childish.. ouch” Lina rolled her eyes.

“Everything is set! I spoke to the manager and everything went smoothly. I even got a free ice cream on my way back”

“Thanks Lilly. You guys have been a great help to me” Kylie said.

“What are friends for?”

Lina cleared her throat.

Kylie smiled.
“What ever you say or do. You are my friend”

“The reunion is tomorrow. I wonder how many people are coming”

Kylie brought out her phone. She was on it for a minute.
She then placed it on her ear.

“Hey Gabriel, how is it coming up?”

“Really good and fast” he replied. Gabriel was on his computer. He was helping his best friend’s mother to invite some of the species in the other part of the country.

“How many people have we got?”

“Over three thousand…”

“What? That’s too much”

“Well, I just added a little thing that made them wanna come to the reunion” he said.

Kylie folded her arms. She hoped it’s not something bad.
“What did you do?” She asked.

“I.. I added that the demigod, Kylie will be there” he spoke softly.

“Are you crazy Gabriel?”

“I’m sorry ma’am. I just thought you needed more people”

“It’s no use. Bye!” She said and disconnected the call.
She slid the phone into her pocket and stared at her friends. They were giving her a questioning look.

“What happened?” They asked.

“We are having so many guests. Over three thousand. I wonder how many it will get to when it’s tomorrow” she leaned her hands on her shoulder.

“It’s okay. You have us, we will love to help you”

“Thanks guys. We can do this together!”

Allison was preparing for the reunion. She told the nanny some instructions before leaving the house. Gabriel was the one taking her to the spot. It was her first time meeting the any of the other kinds.

“How are you feeling?” He asked as they walked on foot, into the forest.

“Well, a little bit anxious. But I can overcome it” she replied and finally got to the place. She moved some leaves and saw how many they were.

“Woah! They are so many” she shot her eyes and mouth wide open.

“They are just four thousand, three hundred and twelve” he said and started spraying some stuff Hazel got him.

She turned and stared at him.
“What’s that?” She frowned.

“Hazel gave it to me. She said I should apply it so that they no one can figure out that I’m human” he said smiling weirdly at her.

“Haha, hilarious!” She rolled her eyes and walked into the party. The music got louder, seem like the used a spell to block the sound.

“I can’t believe mom planned all of this” she murmured, staring at everyone’s faces. They were busy chatting, drinking and trying to get close to one another.

“I need to find mom” she said and left Gabriel.

“Sure and I need to find Sean” he spoke softly and also walked away.

“It’s so nice to finally meet you. I’m a big fan and I really like you”

Kylie smiled at them. She felt like the celebrity of today’s party.
“Thank you so very much. Please enjoy the party” she said.

“Hey Mom… I’ve been looking for you everywhere” Allison suddenly rushed to her.

“Woah! You have a daughter? She’s so cute”

“Thank you..” Allison said and pulled her mother from them.

“Excuse me…” She said before leaving there.

“What happened Allison? Nice gown” she said.

“Thanks Mom. Gabriel got it for me. Yeah, were you the one who plan this get together? It’s so amazing”

“Thanks Allison. But I’m so busy right now, you should go round and make some friends” Kylie said.

“Oh Kylie, here you are. I’ve been looking everywhere for you. The travel man is looking for you” Cindy said.

“I have to go baby, have fun!” She kissed her forehead and followed Cindy.

“Yeah, I’ll try” she rolled her eyes. She hate when she meet new people.

She walked towards the small bar to get a drink. She met Lilly there.

“Hey Allison, want some drink?” She asked.

“Yeah, I guess so” she replied and sat beside the counter.

Lilly poured her some drink and pushed it to her.
“Here!”

“Thanks” Allison grabbed it and gulped it down at once.

“Are you alright?” Lilly asked as she collected the glass from her.

“Yeah, I am. Just have a problem making friends” she replied and stared at the other ladies about her age.

“It’s easy. Just walk to them and saw a simple word.. hi and the words will flow from there” she said.

Allison shook her head.
“It’s not that easy. I can’t even face them”

“My boyfriend got it for me” Allison blushed.

“Awn, so cute”

“Hey baby… Having fun?” Gabriel kissed Allison’s cheek and walked pass her.

“Is that him? He’s so hot” Vanessa said.

“So, what country are you from?”

“Huh?” Allison furrowed her eyebrows. She almost forgot that species from other countries are also present.

“I’m from Finland and she’s from Japan” Jay said.

“Oh, I’m from here. This is my country actually”

“Awesome..”

“Kylie is my mother actually”

“What???” They both yelled. They were surprised.

“You are the demigod’s daughter? We are big fans!”

“I could introduce her to you guys if you want..”

“Please do. I want to touch her and see her” Jay was so desperate.

“Sure. Right this way” Allison said, leading them to her mother. She turned and winked at Lilly. It’s all thanks to her.
Lilly gave her a thumbs up and continue serving drinks to people.
