CHAPTER FIFTY THREE AND FOUR: EMPTY
Lilly stop walking when baron pull her back, looking in his eyes, she noticed how angry he looked ” baron?”
” I hope you aren’t planning on staying here milady ” his face look so emotionless” I will appreciate if you leave right now ”
” But ”
” You staying here will only kill him, here are your things, leave before he sees you ”
” Am sorry but I can’t leave” stepping back I shake my head ” I can not leave Lord Mammon”
” Do you wish his death so bad!” Baron growl ” do not forget you’re just a concubine lily” for the first time, I saw anger in baron eyes towards me ” I will not allow you to kill him ”
” Am not killing him!”
” Then forgive me for my next move ”
” Wh….” Before I could complete my sentence, he swiftly move towards me, hitting my head which made me lose consciousness
When I open my eyes, I sit up then hold my head, the whole place dark, so dark that I can’t see a thing ” baron gave you to me lily ” hearing that voice, I try standing up before realizing my hands and legs are chained
” Dilicas?”
” So you recognize my voice” I hear footsteps before a little candle was light up, I stare at Regina, pond and dilicas who are staring at me
” What’s the meaning of this ”
” Baron agreed that you need to die lily ” dilicas bend down right in front of me, I stare at his faceless abomination ” no body wants you alive ”
” Dilicas, you know fully well you can’t
Kill me …..or have you forgotten what will happen to you if you do ”
” Forget?” Looking at him, he stand up ” I can’t forget such a nice truth, you do not think I want to keep living this life do you?” He furrow his brows ” beside death can’t die, am only getting rid of your physical appearance, that way no one else will fall for a monster like you ”
” Lord Mammon is ill, how do I make him feel all right?”
” They is nothing you can do for him, except you stay away Alisha, you being close to him will kill him ”
” He said he won’t……” Before I could complete my sentence Regina slap me on my face hærd, looking at her I notice how sad she look
” Stay away from him lily” she growl ” you have cause him enough pains already, just stay away ”
Shaking my head, I pull my hands slightly and surprisingly the chain break ” I can’t stay away from him, I love him ”
” Then let him go !”
” Never!” I growl, a feeling I have never have in me is beginning to resurface and I feel like it’s drowning me ” if he doesn’t need me that bad, he will leave me, he will fall for someone else”
” What are you saying ”
” He has a reason to die and that’s why he wants me close, he wants me close enough to give him what he needs before he leave this earth ”
” You wish to kill him ”
” The gods always made sure I can’t reproduce or stay with someone I love ” looking at them I frown ” you three can’t kill me, just let me be and stay out of my way or I will make your life miserable” I swiftly move to Regina and before she knows what’s happening I pull out her heart then jump back
As long as it beats in my hands, she will remain alive ” what are you doing” she fell down and I smile
” Open the door out if here if you don’t want me squeezing her heart ”
” You won’t” pond growl and I chuckle
” Do you want to bet on it?”
” Open the door pond” dilicas growl ” you might not know her but I do, she is the worst ” I watch pond open the door and I step back ” hand over her heart ”
” It’s her time after all ” before they could blink I drop it down and step on it with force ” I have always hated her ” and with that I vanish, not waiting for response
Lord Mammon remain seated in his study room with Aries for straight seven hours, no talking just silence ” let me guess ” Aries break the quiet environment ” you are still thinking of a way to stay with her ”
” Indeed ”
” Are you stupid ”
” From the recent event, I would say yes”
” You do realize they is literally nothing you can do ”
” That seem to be the case ” I lean back on my chair ” I can’t feel lily presence in the palace, looks like she run away ”
” She made the right decision and I guess your powers are coming back ”
” I do feel strengthen and I hate to admit that being away from her, is the best solution if I want to remain living ”
” What do you plan on doing now ”
” It’s simple Aries ” I smile ” they is no point of living without her ”
” You do realize you will die ”
” Yes ”
” Am not going to sit around and watch you die gradually mammon, I will head over to Lucifer place and stay over there ”
” That’s okay ”
” See you in hell my friend” I watch him leave my study room, I exhale before moving to the window, I stare at lily walking into the palace, I thought she left, she decided to leave, why is she here
She stopped then look up at me, I watch how she wave her hands, smiling, she look happy but why? Using my hands I ask her to come to my study, she nod and the next thirty minutes she is in there
” Milord ”
” I thought you left ”
” You need me milord ” she smile ” I can’t leave you ”
” I need you?” Furrowing my brows at her she smile ” Alisha?”
” Yes ”
” What happened to lily”
” We are all one milord, am lily and am also Alisha ”
” What exactly are you planning”
” Come with me milord ” holding my hand she pull me into our chamber, ask the maids to leave before shutting the door ” I need you milord ”
I always feel drained after s××, I plan to stop that ” not interested”
” You can’t refuse me ” she take off her clothes and I step back, it’s like a drug am addicted to, I can’t say no after seeing it ” I need you ”
” No ” shaking my head, am still moving close to her, no matter how I want to stop it, I couldn’t, I made love to her so hærd that she pass out again and I didn’t stop
I couldn’t stop, I never wanted to stop, this is horrible, I could feel my life source draining
Standing up from the bed I fall back to my knees then cough blood, is this how it feels to slowly die? Is this how dying is?
” Milord?” Hearing that voice I quickly clean the blood and sit on the floor, breathing calmly ” are you alright ”
” Am fine lily ”
These continued for weeks and after the s××, lily come to haunt me, not really in the horrible way you may think but I think I don’t have a long time anymore
” Milord” I watch her run to meet me in my garden, her eyes sparkle with joy but when she stare at me, she look taken back ” you look so pale milord ”
” Am fine lily ”
” But milord ” these days, Alisha bad characters don’t show up and I can’t make my silly lily worry ” are you sure you’re okay?” She move closer and touch myself ” are you sure you won’t die if I don’t go away ”
” Lily am fine ”
” But….”
” Relax lily, I told you am…. ” before I could complete my sentence, I couldn’t help but to cough blood, these days, I have been feeling empty, so empty that I need to rest for a bit ” am going to sleep for awhile lily ”
” Please don’t”
Sitting on the floor I slowly lay down ” I just need to rest okay ”
” Milord ” I Know she was saying something but I just need to sleep and right after I close my eyes, I had a good sleep
Am not dead, just sleeping…at least that’s what I thought.
