“No Dad! You don’t know what You are saying,it can be that Orphange”
Fred sounded so unbelievable.

His mother heard the shout and rushed down immediately,
“Son What is it? Why did you shout?
She asked.

“Mom is Dad,I don’t know what he is saying about the Orphange”
He sounded.

“The Orphange! Honey what happen?
She asked being so confused.

“A tragedy happened at the Orphange last night”
He said.

“What tragedy?
She asked confusingly.

“The Orphange burnt down to ashes last night”
He said.

“Oh mine! This is so unbelievable!
She shouted in shocked.

“Indeed so unbelievable! Dad don’t know what he is saying it can’t be that Orphange Eva is”
Fred said still don’t believe anything.

“Honey are you sure of what you are saying?
She asked still confused too.

“They broadcast it this morning,it was so terrifying,the fire was so much that only few were rescued”
He said.

“Is not real Dad! Stop telling me this!
Fred cried out.

“My dear please calm down,I understand how you are feeling right now”
The mother said.

“Mom tell me is not truth,nothing such happened at the Orphange,Eva and Boboy are fine,they are there waiting for me right Mom”
He cried out.

Mr Ernesto stood up from his chair and walked to him,
“Son calm down okay,few people were rescued and am sure your friends will be among them”
He said.

“Are you sure Dad? They are fine,nothing bad happened to them because if anything happen to Eva I don’t think if I can bear it Mom”
He cried.

Mrs Sarah took him to the couch and Sat him down,she rest his head on her her shoulder,
“Son nothing will happen to her okay,as Dad said she will be among the people that survived from the fire and I want you to believe that okay”
She said and wiped out his tears.

“Dad,Did they mention where the survivors were deported to?
He asked still in tears.

He thought for a while trying to remember there’s such information.

“Oh yes,I remembered,they were deported to this city Orphange”
He said.

Fred stood up immediately and shouted happily,
“Thank God! Let’s go and bring Eva and Boboy home then”

“Right now?
The mom asked.

“Yes Mom,no time to waste anymore,I have already wasted time on them and has been away from them very so long,am also dying to see them especially Eva,please let’s go now Mom”
He pleaded.

She touched his hair and smiled,
“I understand,let’s go”

“You guys won’t eat breakfast before going?
Mr Ernesto asked.

“When we come back we will have the lunch”
She said.

“Pabola get the car ready!
She shouted to the driver.

Mr Ernesto hugged them before they used the door,they got into the car and drove out to the Orphange.

Meanwhile,Eva and Boboy has arrived at the city,
“Boboy we have to jump down now before the trucker will drive to the bus station to avoid being caught”
Eva suggested.

“Yeah that’s a good idea Eva,1 2 3 jump!
He shouted and they jumped down.

“What’s the next step Boboy?
Eva asked.

“I don’t know,Am even starving the worms in my stomach are tumbling and grumbling for food”
Boboy said.

“Even me Boboy,Am also hungry,we got nothing on us so what are we going to do?
She asked.

He started shooking his head thinking on they will eat,he turned his left hand side and saw an eatery shop,he nodded his head and said,
“Eva look there!
He pointed at the eatery shop.

“That’s an eatery shop! I hope you are not thinking for us to go and steal?
She asked.

“That’s exactly what’s on my mind,those snacks looks so delicious”
He sounded with smiles.

“No Boboy! We can’t steal,you know it’s not good to steal”
Eva objected.

“If we didn’t steal how are we going to eat? Did you want hunger to kill us?
He asked.

“Hunger won’t kill us but we are not going to steal Boboy”
She said still objecting the idea.

Her stomach tumbled and make a heavy sound,
“You see,the worms in your stomach are communicating with you complaining of being hungry,Did you want them to eat up your intestines and end up killing you?
He sounded trying to convince her.

“Huh Boboy! Such thing will not happen!
She sounded and didn’t believe all he said.

“It do happen Eva,Did you remember the story I told you about my friend how he died?
He asked.

“Yes I remember”

“Did you know that the worms in his stomach killed him because he starve the worms for days”
He said being so mean and serious.

“Are you being serious Boboy?
She asked being so scared.

“Am very serious,those worms are so wicked and dangerous and if we keep on starving them they will wicked us and i don’t want that to happen to us”
He said.

“No! Such thing will not happen to us,how are we going to steal the snacks without being caught?
She asked and Boboy had finally convinced her.

“The plan is,I will be the one to steal the snacks then you will be the watchman”
He said.

“Are you sure they will not catch us?
She asked still having double doubt about the idea.

“Trust me,they will not catchy us”
He assured her,they walked out to carry out their plan.

Back at Fred and his Mom,they got to the Orphange,Fred was looking around everywhere to see if he will see Eva or Boboy around,they were directed to the office by the security man.

When they got there,they met Mrs Santo Domingo who happened to be one of the survivors.

“Good afternoon Mrs Ernesto!
She stood up from her chair and greeted.

“I was so shocked when I heard the news a while ago and i can imagine how deavasted you were”
She said feeling so concerned.

“Mrs Ernesto it was so bad,a painful tragedy,it’s still like a nightmare to me,a movie,I still can’t believe it was a reality,it’s so painful to experience such incident, how the Orphange home burnt down to ashes was like a movie that will never come true,it’s so hurtful and heart broken to hear the cry of the children s¢ræming for help as the fire consumed them”
She said teary.

She hugged her so tight feeling her pains,
“It’s well Mrs Santo”

“Mrs Santo what of Eva and Boboy? Where are they i need to see them?
Fred asked.

Mrs Santo’ s face changed automatically,
“How will I break the news to him? How will I tell him that Eva and Boboy are no more? That the fire consumed them”
She thought.

“Mrs Santo they are the reason why we here,I need to adopt them”
Mrs Sarah said.

“Mrs Santo why are you quite? Where are they? Are they in,side? Send someone to call them,say something”
Fred shouted being so worried and his heart beating so fast with fear.

“Fred I want you to understand that there’s always a reason behind any circumstances in life and a reason behind any bad thing”
She said to her.

At that moment his Mom knew that they are no more.

“What are you saying to do Mrs Santo? Mom what did she mean by those words?
He asked confusingly and his rate of heart beat increased with thousands of fears.

“I don’t know how to say this to you but I have to tell you,Am sorry Fred Eva and Boboy didn’t make alive from the fire”
She said teary.

“No Mrs Santo! You don’t know what you are saying? I can’t believe this damn lie,Eva is not dead,she is here in this Orphange and she promise to wait for me so she is waiting for me”
He shouted in shocked finding it so difficult to believe.

“Fred calm down,I understand what the pains you are going through right now,it also hurts to me that Eva is gone and we can’t see her again”
Mrs Santo consoled him.

“Stop saying that! Eva is not dead,she can’t live me,my Eva is still life waiting me somewhere”
He shouted in tears.

“Son please calm down okay,God knows why he took her away from you and we can’t question him for that”
She said and hugged him.

“Stop saying she is dead to me because she is not”
He shouted.

“Mrs Ernesto I think you have to take him home now and try to calm him down,he is going through alot right now also devastated,it will still take him time before believing she is no more”
She suggested for her.

“Yeah,that’s whatwe will do right now,thank you and please take good care of yourself, I know it’s still painful and shock to you”
She hugged her before they used the door.

They got into the car and drove out from the Orphange home.

Meanwhile Eva and Boboy crossed the road to carry out their plan of stealing the snacks,Boboy went to get as Eva stood aside watching to avoid being caught.

Just about to grab the snacks a lady saw him and shouted,
“Thife! Thife! Thife!

They ran out immediately,her shouting altered the security men,
“Look at them! Go catch them!
The owner of the eatery shouted.

The security men ran after them,they keep on running,
“I told you they gonna catch us!
Eva shouted.

“Eva run fast! Don’t let them to catch you”
He shouted.

“If they catch us now,they won’t spare us,they will kill us”
She shouted.

“Stop thinking negative Eva,they won’t catch us okay,see what we are going to do right now,you will run to this road path and hide yourself then why I will run to the other road side and hide once they are fade up of searching for us we will come out and meet each other okay”
He suggested.

“Are you sure they will not be able to catch you or me?
She asked.

“Trust me they will not,make you sure you hide in a place they won’t be able to find you”
He said.

“Okay!

“Run to this road and hide,let me hide the other road side”
He said.

Eva ran to that road and hide under a car abondaned car.

“Where did they go now?
One of the security man asked.

“You know what follows this road path then I will follow this side we will be able to catch them”
The other one suggested.

“Okay!
He said and ran out to the other road path.

Boboy was still running and just about to cross the road and hide himself a car from nowhere hit him down,people gathered at the s₱0t sighing and shooking their heads,the security man saw him lying down lifelessness on the road he became so astonished.

The driver came down and took him in,side the car and drove out to the hospital immediately.

The other security man came to the bus Eva was hiding,at the moment Eva saw him she started breathing in fear and praying for him not see her,he checked at the back of the bus even in,side the car and didn’t find her his mind didn’t tell him to check under the bus before running out.

He asked questions if someone happened to see a kid running towards this road but got no information,he gave up in searching for her and ran back to meet his colleague.

“I did not find her and no one seems to have seen her,What of you,Did you find the boy?
He said to his colleague.

“Something bad happened to that boy”
He sounded.

“What did you mean?
He asked confusingly.

“He got hit by a car and I don’t think if he can survive it”
He said.

“He deserve it”
He shouted,they went back to their duty post at the eatery.

Eva came out when she realised the security men has gone back,she went to the other road side to look for Boboy but couldn’t find him.

“Where have he gone to? Could it be that the security men caught him?
She thought searching for him.

Meanwhile,Fred and his mother arrived home,he didn’t utter any word to his father and went up to his room.

“What happen? Fred seem so sad,What’s wrong with him?
He asked.

“Fred is going through alot right now,his friends didn’t make it alive from the fire”
She said.

“Oh my God! I can understand how deavasted he meant be right now”
He shouted.

“That’s why we need to be run him all the time to talk and console him”
She said.

Fred lay down on the bed thinking about Eva,
“I will never cry because I know and believe that you are still alive because this my heart is still beating for you and it will continue beating for you to eternity,I know you are far away from me now but I will surely find you one day”
He said and took a nap.
