” I’m talking about Walt ” he yelled and my face went white.
I stood there numb ,shock of what I just heard. I hope I didn’t heard him clearly.
Walt can’t be a g-y,he must be mistaking. I slow jotted out of my reverie and gasped.
” Wh…wh…what…ar….are…..yo… you….ta…talking about ” I start making blundering speech because I was just recovering from the shock.
The weirdo blew the chew gum to my face and that got me mad. Some female power spring awaken in me.
” A jerk. Walt can never be a g-y. You just be mistaking ” I yelled at him.
He gave me one stare and then burst into laughter.
” Your man is having an affair with me. I love him and I don’t wanna loose him. He’s so caring and nice to me. But he’s in a relationsh¡p with you. I can take it anymore. I want you out of my way. He’s mine ” he went on blabbing nonsense.
Listening to him make me wanna puke. There are many g-ys in this country. I still wonder what they find attractive with their fellow gender. Some people don’t see anything wrong with a g-y but I found it to be obscene and not a rectitude purity. Nevertheless i never prayed to encounter with such people attracted to the same gender ,now I’ve one warning. Not that I judge anyone but I just found it distasteful.
It so awkard and funny to have one warning me.
” Please just leave. I’ve no time for such nonsense ” I fired at him angrily.
” Hey lady. That man is mine and not yours back off or else you won’t like what will happen to you ” he warned with a crooked smile.
I slammed the door on his face and lock it with the key. That joker creep me out. I haven’t encounter anyone attracted to the same gender I don’t know how to handle this one.
But what of of it’s true.
What of if what is really a g-y.
You can’t just see some joker knocking at your door and then telling you to stay away from his man.
I hope Walt is not a g-y. Though am doubting him now. I still hope that the weirdo is lying. Hope so.
Damn it I really need to give Walt a call.
I went the the kitchen counter and retrieve my phone and then quickly gave Walt a call.
After the second rang,he finally answered the call and I was nervous as I spoke
📞 ” Hello Walt ”
📞 ” Hello bae. How are you. Sorry I couldn’t give you a call I was very busy today ”
📞 ” Don’t bother about that. It’s fine. Where are you can I come over . I have something urgent to talk to you about ” I requested.
📞 ” Okay bae. You can meet with me in my store ” he said and I hang up.
I take a deep breath,telling myself that Walt isn’t like that. He can never betray me and not with a woman a man. This is
awkward. I don’t what I should be feeling now. My stomach knot coil with curiosity, anxiousness and nervousness.
What is all this Walt should better be able to clear my head. I can’t take this.
I texted Jas since he’ll be back anytime soon.
💬 ” I had prepared lunch. You can find your way in the kitchen. Just don’t consume everything ”
I’d went upstairs to my room. I change the top because it had a stain and then after adjusting my and parking in a ponytail I went off with my handbag.

I alighted from the cab and then went in to Walt’s store. I met him rounding up a short film with his two employees. He deals with short films and put them in the internet.
” Okay guys done ” he said before coming towards me.
He’d brought out a seat for me and I sat down. He too brought a seat and he sat down too.
” Should I get you something like a cold drink sweetie ” he said.
” No do…..
” Hey Dave get my bae a cold orange juice from the fridge ” he yelled at one of his employees.
” Alright sir ” he replied respectfully and went to get the order.
I sighed softly, I don’t think I need that cold drink or maybe I would need to cool my head down coz it on fire now.
” So what urgent matter do you wanna discuss with me ” he said as Dave brought the drink and handled it over to me.
I didn’t refuse it I collected it and smiled. I’ll drink that after am done talking.
I place the cold drink at the table behind us.
” Hey your drink won’t be cold anymore if you just leave it on the table ” he said.
” I’ve more important things to worry about than a cold drink ”
” So what do you wanna talk about ” he said giving me a pin gaze.
I felt nervous to say this but I have to.
” A guy came to my home….I began nervously.

” Hahahahah… ” Walt laugh as soon as I was done telling him.
” Is this suppose to be funny. That guy’s creep me out. I want answers Walt ” I said frowning,not liking that he takes it as a joke.
” Did you believe him first of all ?” he asked.
” I don’t know what to believe ” I replied plainly.
” Why don’t you know what to believe. I thought trust should be between both lovers ” he said.
I close her eyes briefly and inhaled and then open my eyes.
” This is not matter of trust . I don’t understand anything Walt. Is not that I don’t trust. I do. But why did that weirdo came and warn me to stay away from you ? ” I requested to know.
” Because he’s a f-cking jerk. A maniac. He had be stalking me after coming to my video store to act in one of my films. And then he took his chance after the shooting he called me to a corner and then he ask me on date. I told him clearly I don’t do the g-y game. But he didn’t stop he as been stalking me for a month. But I just ignored him. I don’t know how he found out about you ” Walt explained and I believed him immediately.
Well it’s possible. This is just great I get stalk by my boss and then Walt get stalk by a g-y.
Should I tell him about Arthur. I think I should because it might coz a rift in our relationsh¡p.
I kind of feeling guilty of doubting him when he trust me blindly. But am not ready yet to tell him.
Maybe some other time.
” So the coast is clear ”
” Am sorry for doubting you ” I smiled bluntly.
” Is okay Bae. Am happy that we trust each other a lot. Nothing can create a rift between us right ” he smiled at me stoking my hair and I look down shyly.
” I love you bae ” he said.
” I love you too ” I said and then he lock his l-ips on mine. A brief k-ss but it felt great .
” Can I ask for something ” he stated.
” Sure ” I smiled.
” Can you give me some money ” he said.
” What ” he needs money again.
” Yes I need the money ”
” What for ? ” I inquired.
” So you don’t trust me. You asking me what for. I thought lovers help each other ” he said looking upset.
” I know. But you always ask for money. And it’s too much ” I said frowning.
” I minute ago. You said you love and trust me. Is okay I don’t need your damn money ” he angrily got up and walked away.
What did I do wrong?
Why is he upset?
I only ask what he needs the money for and then he just got angry and left.

I stare at Walt house and smiled at myself. I alighted took the briefcase from the car and smiled one more time and then walk to Walt’s door.
I rang the doorbell.
” Who is that ? ” I could hear him yell from in,side.
I didn’t reply I only smiled and when he didn’t make any attempt to open the door. I rang the doorbell again.
” Are you deaf can’t you reply ? ” He yelled from in,side I could hear the angry
shuffling feets approaching.
He opens the door and I grinned at him.
” You’re here ? ” he look startled. He should be.
” Yes am here ” I smiled.
” Why are you here ? ” he inquired with a furrowed brow.
” You find out soon enough ” I grinned.
” First I can I come in ” I stated.
He nodded and made away for me to go in.
” So why are you here ? ” He asked again.
” You’re about finding out. So where can we go and talk business ” I said and he gave me a furrowed stare and the smile.
He seems to get it. I smiled back at him.
