🌺 Stella’s pov 🍓
“So explain” I said to Jeremy, he had just picked me up like we both agreed in school, and here is he, driving the where I don’t even know.
“Explain what?” He asked looking at me with his corner eyes cause he was driving
“Jeez! Why you wanted to see me dude” I replied
“Oh, I’m sorry” he chuckled
Is he seriously laughing, probably he did that on purpose, cause the Jeremy I know hate smiling and now, he’s laughing, which is pissing me off.
“Common Stella, don’t look at me that way” he said
“And how are you even seeing me?” I asked, clearly still annoyed.
” I can. So about why I wanted to see you, why don’t we go somewhere more private to talk about this, I mean you’re angry, and I don’t want any more anger from you” he said
” See, I don’t think we should be doing this” I sighed
” But why? ” He asked worried
” Look at me, weigh different from you, only being your friend has cost me a lot, a lot of drama I never thought I’d come across. Like that’s not enough, you don’t want us to be seen together” I said
” We’ll talk about that” he said not saying a thing again focusing more on the road, well I played along too, I kept mute throughout the ride.

“Jeez! I thought you said somewhere private, why the hell did you bring me to a park?!” I asked yelling of course
” Of course, it’s private property” he replied
Oh My!!
“How do you expect us to even talk in this kind of place?” I asked
“Well, I just wanted to make it up to you, I’ve caused you alot this week, why don’t we just have fun together, as a way to cover up” he said and I rolled my eyes.
” I’m out of here” I said walking away
“Wait!” He said catching up with me.
“Please Stella” he said
” Okay fine, but I want to be home before 7″ I said
“Cross my heart” he replied
” Great” I replied smiling

Woah!! Right now, we are having more than fun.
Like seriously, I never thought Jeremy who was so uptight, had this part of him. It’s like I totally saww different part of him.
We’ve played games, watched the clown, race, eat junks, won gifts and mostly laughed. I never even noticed it was running late and people were vanishing already.
I was just happy seeing Jeremy having fun.
“OMG!” I exclaimed as I accidentally bumped into Jeremy.
He laughed bringing his forehead to touch mine smiling brightly at me, I just couldn’t help than to smile back.
It was getting awkward, so I decided to break the moment using as a joke, and gratefully, he laughed.

It was quite dark, but the park wasn’t closed yet and surprisingly, I wasn’t in any rush to get home.
We we’re sitting on the swing bench just talking, we haven’t even discussed what we’re actually here for.
“I really got carried away, it was all fun” I replied cheerfully, he just gave me a small smile.
Hmm, I guess he’s back to himself again.
“Uhmm, why don’t we go watch the ocean?” He asked and I chuckled
” Not really a fan of that, oops!” I replied
“I guess I’ll make you one today” he said dragging me along with him as he rushed towards the ocean.
“Oh gosh Jeremy!” I said and he chuckled
“You’ll love it” he replied
We finally got there sitting close to the water, I never thought I could ever watch the sunset with someone like him, honestly, walking into this school wasn’t a mistake.
Well maybe you guys didn’t noticed, I did have a crush on him from the beginning, but when things Begin to get complicated as I was getting into numerous trouble from different trouble, one which even landed me in hospital. Well, I don’t even know, maybe I still have a crush on him, cause the closer I get to him the more confused I become
Can you imagine? Jeremy hasn’t even told me the reasons he brought me here.
“Stella, for quite some time now we’ve been friends, quite close ones I must say, and I have to tell you it means a lot to me” he said
” But, you don’t want anyone seeing us together” I said
” That’s because of Amaya and my mum” he replied
” I don’t understand” I said white confused
” You won’t Stella, like I said, things had changed for the past three days” he said
” And what are they? ” I asked
” It involves I and Amaya” he said
” What about you and her” I asked
“My mum wants more than she can get, she wants me to date Amaya” he said
” But why? ” I asked sounding pissed.
Jeez! I never wanted that to show.
” See, I’ve told you about my mum before right? She’s lonely, and sad, she wants me to do what she wants, I can’t just deny her of that” he said looking sad.
” But you’re hurting yourself, look at you, you do what she wants, but she never cares about your own happiness” I said
” No Stella, don’t say it that way, she cares” he said but I could feel that doubt in his voice
” Jeremy you can always tell me everything” I said and he took my hands taking a deep breath
” Now Stella, I don’t think there’s anything really relevant to say, let’s just spend today together, cause I don’t think there would be more of that” he said and I took my hands away from his.
” Why? ” I asked standing on my feet, he followed suit.
” Amaya, she has spys, I’m not scared of her, I’m used to girls acting like that over me, but she’s the craziest, she may hurt you than she has already done” he said
” Oh!” I said
” Yes Stella please try to understand” he said
” So tell me how you’re coping with her” I said
” I’m trying, but it’s not easy” he replied
” I have to go” I said
“Wait Stella, please understand” he said
“You don’t want us to be seen together, is the wh0le story you came to tell me here, just say it that way” I said. I was already pissed, well for reasons I don’t even know
“No, you’re misunderstanding everything” he said
” That’s what you may say, but as for me I’m out of here” I replied walking away
” Stella please wait” he said but I wasn’t even in the mood to talk to him again
“Please let me just drop you up” he said.
But I’ve already made up my mind.
He shouldn’t even be apologizing to me, not like we have anything together, well it’s good for me also staying away from him, cause being close to him has brought more harm than good.

💞 Stella’s pov 💛
Gosh! What would I tell Jason I was doing? I normally don’t stay out this late and Jeremy brought me out just to tell me he doesn’t want us to be seen together in school, he wasted my precious moments, moments I could have spent with Olivia, rather than with someone who doesn’t even want us to be seen together.
I cracked the door open, only to be met with Jason and my mum, I mean ma’am Karen together in the sitting room.
It seems she was telling a story which by the look of things I think Jason I enjoying by the way he’s smiling and nodding his head.
I just decided to do what was in my mind, walk past them, but Jason had other things In mind.
“Hey lil sis, where you going, can’t even say hi?” Jason said and I rolled my eyes
” Whatever, I’m not surprised, you’re actually annoying” he said
“Better than you dog” I replied, ma’am Karen was just smiling at our conversation, don’t even know who invited her in the first place.
“Stella I have good news” Jason said
“What news? ” I asked
” Sit first Stella, don’t be stubborn” he said and I did as he said.
” Okay? ” I said while seated
” I wouldn’t ask you where you coming from when it’s almost 9pm, only because mum here made me understand that you’re going through a lot” he said
” Mum? ” I asked
” Yes, mum. You know what stella, I think it’s high time you bring down your ego and forgive” he said
” What ego? I have nothing as such” I replied
” Then why don’t you just forgive” he said
” You think it easy huh? At least you were taken care of for like four years, lets not even refer to me who was abandoned in the hospital” I replied
” Stella, you know the kind of person our Father is, of he could treat is the way he did, just imagine how he treated mum” he said and I swallowed.
” I know I was little, but I could still remember some scene of dad yelling at mum, hitting her and sometimes bringing a woman in and according to what she told me, she had no right to complain except she wanted to be hit” he said
” But at least she could have take us along to where she was going, not living us with that beast of a father” I replied almost crying
” I’m really sorry sweetie, you know I thought taking you along with me would make him come after me. But it turned out that it was the greatest mistake of my life living you too behind, please find a place in your heart to forgive me” she said and I wiped the tears almost falling off my eyes.
“So Jason, is this the good news you were actually talking about, if it is, then it’s such a waste of time” I said
” No Stella, there’s more to it. you know I decided to get a job a month and few weeks ago” he said and I nodded
” Well I applied to a large firm here, and they told me they’ll get back to me, with them telling me that I decided to just forget about the job, then I got a little job which we’ve been feeding on” he said
” Yes I remembered” I replied anxious to hear what he was going to say after That
” Well, they did call me earlier today, and ask me to fix one of their appliance which the guy they employed for the job I applied for couldn’t fix, and others in that related field couldn’t also fix. And you Know, that machine really cost a fortune” he said getting me more anxious
” Why don’t you just get straight to the point Jason? ” I said
” Okay fine, I was able to fix it” he said
” Wow that’s great, so what happened after that? ” I asked happily
I’m actually not surprised, Jason has been really good at fixing things since small, despite his rebellious lifestyle
” Well I got the job” he said
“OMG!” I said happily rushing to him
“That’s not all, it was actually more than I bargained for, I’m now the head in that field. I have my own office, it got a booming salary, and a house with a car which we’re moving into tomorrow” he said
” OMG! I can’t believe this, after all this years of struggle, this finally happened” I said emotionally
” Yes, I’m as Happy as you are Stella, for the fact that my very own father said I was useless, I’m already driving towards the path of proving him wrong” he said
” Oh my! I’m so happy for you” I said hugging him again
” That’s not all Stella” he said
” There’s more? “I asked confused
” Yes, it’s the greatest of it all” he said
” Common tell me already” I replied
” Our mum would be moving in with us” he said and my mood totally dropped
“You mean ma’am Karen?” I asked
“You don’t have to call her that, she’s our mother Stella, we got her blood in ours, Stella, you’ve always cried because you never had a mother by your side to take care of you, because of dad’s cruelty. Now she’s here. All what dad told us was totally a different story, he only wanted us to see her as the bad one, to cover up for all his silly acts, you should be really happy” Jason said surprising me, I never knew he could ever give such a speech
“But,,” I tried saying
“No buts Stella” Jason replied and I felt a hand on my shoulder
“Stella please forgive me, I’m deeply sorry , I promise I would make it up to you both. And if you don’t want me to come with you, I promise I’ll give you your own space, we can be living separately but I promise I’ll still make it up to you” she explained
” No, you can come with us. I totally understand” I said suddenly having a change of heart.
” You do? ” She asked
“Yes, forgive me mum. I was only hurt” I plead
” No sweetie you don’t have to apologise, come here” she said stretching her hands for a hug which I accepted immediately, tears flowing down my eyes uncontrollably.
I felt really comfortable in it, now I know how it feels to have a mother.

Three days After
“Stella we have to talk” I heard Jeremy say from behind, jeez what does he wants, I don’t think he wants Amaya or anyone seeing us together, that’s the main reason I’ve been avoiding him lately.
“What do you want, I really don’t want any sort of annoying trouble” I replied
” I don’t care about that anymore, they can see us together, I’m tired of my mum taking decisions for me” he said
” But, you have to listen to your mum, considering the fact that she’s vulnerable, you need to support her in All the decisions she makes, which includes this” I said
” Look Jeremy, I’ve accepted we aren’t meant to be friends, cause ever since I knew there was you, it has been trouble for me all through and you don’t understand” I explained
” I do Stella, from now I’m here, I won’t run from my own decisions anymore” he said
” Let’s forget about this” he said
” No Stella, how do you expect me to do that, when you’ve successful gotten into my heart” he said confusing me totally
” I don’t understand” I replied
” Of course you do Stella and you know it, you can’t just run away from me at this moment” he said
