‘Ariana?!!’..I scre-med in shock and she ran away with the little girl immediately..
I got into my car immediately and tried following them but it was too late..
She was gone already…
I can’t believe this?!!..
It was really Ariana,my own Ariana Hathaway,the girl I’ve been searching for over four years..
The new fact is that she’s no longer a girl,she’s now a woman and she’s with a little girl??…
Was that her sister or daughter?!..
There are so many questions I have to ask but I have to find her first and make her explain why she disappeared without a trace…

Oh God i really saw Joyner Lucas?!..
The boy I fought so hærd to stay hidden from is here?!!..
Why and what is he doing in Manhattan for crying out loud..
He isn’t supposed to be here?!!..
‘Who was that cute man mommy??!’..Heather asked and I fidgeted a little bit.
‘Uhh it’s no one baby,he’s just a stranger’..I replied..
I carried the small bag of groceries in one hand and my baby in the other.
I’m gonna start applying for a job soon because the social workers have started keeping a eye on me and I don’t want them taking my baby away..
‘Is Joyner my daddy?!’..Heather asked as I dropped her on the kitchen counter..
I sighed and k-ssed her cheeks without answering her question..
She may be four years old but she never forgets what she hears at all,she’s way too smart and talks a lot too..
Just like her mother…
‘So what would my baby like to eat now?,Lasagna or Mac and cheese??’..I asked..
She jumped and started chanting..
‘Mac and Cheese!!,Mac and cheese!!!’…
I joined her by hitting the pot with a wooden spoon and we began dancing to the rhythm..
My life may be f**ked up but I have a daughter to keep me going forward…
I love Heather so much..

‘So I want flyers to be put out now for new chefs and waiters,I also want to do some Charity work by delivering some stuffs to the school I saw downtown’..I said to my contractors and also to Janner and they nodded..
The meeting was over and I decided to go to a grocery store…
I bought some chocolates and all other kids stuff and decided to go to the school..
It’s been a long time since he last played with kids and this was a perfect opportunity…

‘Heather come here and let me take you to your new school’..I said but my daughter ran away…
‘I don’t want to go mommy’..she said..
She ran around the house and I pursued her until I finally caught her..
‘Haaa let me go!!!’..she cried out..
‘No sweetie,I know you’re pretty scared about making new friends but everything’s going to be okay’..I said and she nodded…
Who wouldn’t want to be friends with someone like my daughter??…

I walked into the school compound and surprisingly all the kids ran towards me…
I laughed and threw the chocolates over to them and they scurried all over the place….
‘Thank you sir,a lot of people aren’t generous enough to do this’..A teacher said and I smiled…
‘Joyner!!!’..I heard a squeaky voice scre-m and when I turned it was her standing next to the woman I’ve been looking forward to…

She turned to leave but I held her hands before she could do so…

I stared in utter shock and disbelief as I removed Joyner’s grip on my hands…
Heather hugged his legs and he carried her like she was his own daughter…
‘Hey pretty girl how are you?’..He asked and Heather giggled..
‘Okay Heather run along now you don’t want to be late for your first day of school’…I interjected and she ran away to meet some friends…
I turned around only to meet Joyner’s skeptical look and i gulped hærd…..
‘you know that there are a lot of questions I wanna ask you Ariana Hathaway but first is that your daughter??’..He asked pointing at Heather..
‘Yes Joyner,she’s my daughter look I gotta go now I’ll talk to you later’.I replied and quickly walked away..
‘Give me a number or something Ari or an address please’..He called out and I walked away faster…
This is so not a good time to speak with him at all….

I went there to apply for the post of a subsidiary chef and it seems like you need a certificate to cook nowadays..
‘Please sir I need this job more than anything,I don’t want my daughter to be taken away’..I begged with tears in my eyes…
He stood up and went towards a cabinet and brought out a flyer or something…
‘Here have this,my friend just opened an all you can eat restaurant and I’m pretty sure he’ll hire you,is that okay?’..He said and gave me the paper..
I looked down and I saw THE SUGAR RUSH restaurant printed in colorful bold letters…
Why does this feel so familiar??..
‘It’s gonna be okay sir,thank you very much’..I said and walked away…

‘Do we have any Chef intake yet?’..i asked Janner while flipping some papers and he shook his head..
‘Only one sir but from the looks of it I don’t think we’ll be hiring her cause she doesn’t have a degree’…He said…

‘What’s her name?’..i asked..
‘Uhhh Ariana Hathaway’..He replied and I jerked…
‘Ariana??,send her in!!!’..i scre-med..
He raised a brow and walked away and a minute later I heard a knock on my door .
‘Come In’…I said clearing my throat…

I can’t believe this didn’t occur to me before…

‘I’m what?!’..i replied in shock..
‘I said you’re hired,you’re the best cook I know and I’m the only one who knows about your secret but i can give you this job only on one condition’..He said.

‘That you tell me what happened to you four years ago and why you disappeared over lunch okay??’…

‘You didn’t do anything Greg,a Hathaway is still alive,two Hathaways’…Abba said and I flinched…
‘What do you mean by two Hathaways?,none of them survived Abba and if It’s Ariana you’re talking about then that’s not possible cause i killed her four Years ago’ . i said in defense..
‘Look into the crystal ball Greg and tell me what you see’..She replied…
I looked into the gum-ball machine like crystal ball and what i saw gave me the creeps…
