Episode7
Pauline rushed to the hospital regarding the call she received from a doctor concerning her friend Tessy.
“Good day Nurse..please I’m here in regards to one of your patient” Pauline said immediately she got to the hospital reception.
“Good day.. what’s the name of this patient?” The nurse on duty asked.
“Theresa John”
The nurse flipped through the files on her desk.
“Ok..she was brought in here few hours ago.. female ward 23, the 5th room by your left” the nurse directed
“Thank you” Pauline said and zoomed off in search of the ward.
Soon she got there and meet the concious Tessy lying down with a drip connected to her left hand.
Immediately Tessy saw Pauline, she busted into tears.
“Tessy, what went wrong?” Pauline asked
“I was..raped..” Tessy cried
“God!! By who?” Pauline asked in shock
Tessy cried the more “I didn’t know Tony has someone he wants to marry already. The lady came to attack me with some men..and..and..” she couldn’t complete it.
Pauline simple hugged her ” I shouldn’t have left you. I’m sorry this happened..”
“It was all my fault..” Tessy cried
Suddenly, someone entered into the ward..
“Baby, I’m sorry..” it was Tony
Pauline and Tessy glared at him.
“Tani baby e??”Tessy asked in disgust
“See babe, I can explain..that girl is an ex who wouldn’t let me be..I swear.”
Tessy stood up in anger and removed the drip connected to her hand and walked up to Tony
“You stupid, bloody, disgusting modaf-ckin son of a useless tout…I don’t ever want to see your ugly face around me else I’d destroy you..”
Tony looked at her in shock
Pauline smiled.
“Tessy..are you talking to me?!”he asked in shocked
Tessy gave him a resounding slap.
“What?!” Tony held his cheek in shock
Pauline laughed heartily.
“You slapped me?”
Tessy gave him another resounding slap that got the nurses running into the ward.
“What’s happening here?”the nurse asked
“Please send this he goat away from here!!”Pauline said.
“Young man, you have to leave..the patient needs to rest” the nurse said leading the shock Tony away.
“Nna eh, you have PHd in slapping oo”Pauline laughed..
Tessy only sat down and started crying “that guy must not in jail..I swear ..him and all his accomplices.”

Doctor Presh and Gozie had become close friends since after his visit to her hospital.
They usually hangout on evenings when she was off.
On one of such evenings when they hung out and Presh paid the bills, Gozie became quiet.
“Goziem, what’s the issue?” She asked noticing his unusual quietness
“Nothing”
“Have u started hiding things from me?”
“Hmmmm..I just feel sad and useless anytime you pay our bills and I do nothing..” he said sadly.
Presh sighed.
“Don’t you think it’s high time you get something to do for your self?”
“I’ve been thinking of that..but what do I do?’ he asked calmly.
“Goziem” she held himself and looked into his eyes “I want you to go back to your dad’s company”
Gozie quickly withdrew his hands from hers
“Godforbid..I would do no such thing! You need to see how my own father embarrassed and disgraced me in the presence of his staffs..”
“But which parent would be happy if his child behaves the way you do.. let’s be realistic. I mean with all you’ve explained to me, you really troubled them and I think it’s high time you amend your ways..”
“Presh…they made me turn this way…I was trained by a mere house help,..a nanny who molested me from when i was 5 till I turned 14 when she got married and left. I could no longer control my s€×ual urge..making me sleep with several girls at a tender age..my parents were not there for me..”
“I know they had a hand in this but…”
“No buts… please let’s change the topic..” He said gulping down his drink..
“Hmmmm…”Presh sighed in resignation.

Ken took over the affairs of his dad’s companies within and outside the country immediately after his burial.
He reshuffled many things and within that period, he needed more staffs and as such, adverts were made in TVs and radio stations concerning it.
On the other hand, Gozie wanted to prove a point so he started hunting for jobs but this was difficult because he had no valid school certificate even though his dad was a rich and influential man. He didn’t want to solicit for his dad’s help. He wanted to do things by himself.
On seeing the advert on the TV concerning the vacancy, he decided to try his luck and apply for the position of a front desk officer even though it was clearly stated that the position was only for females.
“Mr Man, this position is vacant for only females..” the receptionist told him as she flipped through his application.
“I know..see, what a woman can do, a man can do better” he said
The receptionist looked at him critically “are you not the son of Chief Philip?”
He nodded
“Your father is a big man na..why are you job hunting?” She asked
Gozie hissed “madam please interview me and forget about my family..”
Just then, Ken walked in..
“What is happening here?”
“Sir, this man here applied for a position which was clearly stated to be open for females only..” the receptionist said
Ken turned to Gozie “Mister, why ?”
“Sir, just give me the job. I’ll do more than the female required..”
“Boss, his credentials are not even complete..plus, this mAn is the son of Chief Philip.. something is fishy here..” the receptionist said
Gozie eyed her angrily..
“The popular Chief Philip who has companies scattered all over the country?” Ken asked
“Yes sir..”
Ken looked at Gozie, examining him critically.
“Follow me..” he said..

Ken sighed in pity after Gozie explained everything to him.
“It’s such a pity..but don’t you think you should forgive your parents and be at peace with them?”
Gozie smiled “they’re not even sorry”
“Gozie, I’d talk to you like a brother.. you have to go back to school, at least to obtain a certificate to be able to get a decent job..”
“I thought of that..but I’d have to save enough money for that..I don’t need their help”
Ken smiled and relaxed on his seat.
“How about I sponsor you abroad to study?”
Gozie looked at Ken in shock..cleaned his eyes to ensure it wasn’t a dream
“You mean it?”
Ken nodded..
