πŸ“Œ Epilogue πŸ“Œ
Back arched, head thrown back on the bed, I mo-ned endlessly, squirming under him. Ted had his head between my legs as he ate me, driving me insane with pleasure with his tongue, teeth and fingers. It was the little time we had together, one of our very few moments and we spent it either talking or filling our s€×ual life. It wasn’t easy, especially when I had a very clingy daughter, she wouldn’t let me be for twenty minutes. Most nights, she slept in our room, pushing Ted off the bed to sleep on the floor or anywhere else. It wasn’t all bad, Ted was always too busy to care.
‘Aaaaaaaah!’ Ted jumped away from me with shock, even I did. I sat up immediately, using the duvet to cover myself. ‘Daddy, what are you doing to my mother? How dare you bite her?!’ Ted glared at me.
‘I swear, I locked the door…’
‘I’ll kill you for hurting my mommy!’ She tried to climb into our tall bed but couldn’t. She huffed with annoyance. ‘Daddy, help me in so I can kill you.’ Most times, she used a stool to climb on.
‘I wasn’t hurting your mother…’
‘Mommy!’ She shrieked tearily. I sighed and scoot over to her. I carried her into the bed and shifted back. ‘Now, where were we? Yes, I was killing you.’ She attacked Ted, hitting him with her tiny fists, kicking him too though failing. Ted laughed, he always found it amusing. I used that opportunity to get dressed. Ted had her pinned under him.
‘Gotcha!’
‘No! No fair daddy, you’re bigger and shwunger and taller. Look at your muscles, I don’t have any… Mommy tell daddy to let him fall so I can defeat him.’ She whined.
‘Coco…’ He rolled over on the bed, pulling her to straddle his bare stomach. She squealed in excitement and stood up, standing on his stomach.
‘Yes! I’m the champinon!’
‘Should I flip you over?’ Ted laughed.
‘Why were you biting mommy?’ She asked with a cute annoyed pout.
‘Because she needed punishment…’
‘I’ll pumish you too…’ She jumped on his stomach. Ted shouted in pain.
‘Cookie,’ he mo-ned, rolling to his side. She fell on the bed on her butt, but that didn’t stop her. She attacked him with her teeth, sinking it into his bicep. Ted yelped out, it’s impossible to get her off when she bites. ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry,’ he pleaded. ‘Cookie!’
‘Okay, okay, baby, enough.’ I laughed, pulling her away. She always listens to me.
‘Next time, don’t touch my mommy,’ she threatened and blew raspberry. I laughed as Ted inspected his bleeding arm.
‘I thought she lost all her teeth!’
‘She’s four Coco, she hasn’t gotten there yet…’
‘Her baby teeth just ripped out my flesh! Yolanda!’
‘Calm down and get it…’ She burst into tears. ‘Baby, what’s wrong?’
‘I hurt daddy, Cookie is a monster,’ she sobbed. Cookie is four, my only daughter. Ted refused any name except Cookie, so her name is Cookie with Carina as her middle name. Yolanda loves calling her CC.
‘No baby, you’re not a monster…’
‘Daddy’s bieding because of Cookie,’ she cried loudly, tears soaking her face and gown like water.
‘Baby, you didn’t hurt daddy,’
‘Don’t lie to me, I’m not four…’
‘Ironic,’ Ted muttered. I glared dagger at him. ‘Okay sunshine! Want daddy to forgive you?’ She nodded eagerly. ‘Grow wings and get lost…’
‘Teddison!’ I shouted in disbelief. He winked at me. ‘You are unbelievable.’ I huffed.
‘Look, stop crying, I’ll be fine,’ he said plainly. ‘I bet you are hungry…’
‘Yes, girl needs food… Why haven’t you given me food?’ She started crying again. I carried her out of the room, she loves food just like her father.
Eh?
Shhh, don’t interfere… I shushed my subconscious.
‘Mommy, why was daddy biting you on your bum?’
Oh shit!
‘He wasn’t er…erm…he…’
‘He didn’t look like he was biting, it looks more like when you blow air into my belly buttun.’
‘Erm, wait, I need to drink water first.’ I pressed the elevator down button, trying to construct a lie. The door opened. She kept looking at me curiously, eyes wide open.
You know that saying, curiosity kills the cat? That is what will kill her.
I later got to the kitchen, dropped her on the island and went to the water dispenser and turned myself a cup of chilled water. I gulped down every single drop, staring at her as she stared back at me. I dropped the cup and laughed nervously. ‘Remember how we noted out the things you can only find out when you grow older? As old and tall as I am?’ She nodded. ‘Chalk this up to it. When you grow older, I’ll tell you.’
‘So, it’s big girls stuffs? Like Yolanda size big?’
‘Yes,’
‘Then I have how many years to know what it means?…’ She asked herself. ‘Yolanda is nineteen, I’m four. I need to get to nineteen which means I need to remove four from nineteen to get the number of years I have to wait, right?’ I nodded. ‘Can you help me count mommy?’
‘Sure,’ I walked to the tall refrigerator and opened the top part. I brought out a box of peanuts and shut the door. ‘Here,’ I dropped the box and opened it. ‘Eat the ones you use to count and no cheating.’
‘Okay, count nineteen. One, two, three,’ she counted, bringing out the peanut one after the other. ‘Five, seven, nine, four…’ She is yet to pronounce all her words right.
‘Count in Italian, you count better with that.’ I instructed as I walked around to make a sandwich for her.
‘Bene m’ama. Uno, due, tre, quattro, cinque, sei, uno…’
‘Sette,’ I corrected.
‘Sette,’ I focused on making a honey sandwich for her. When I was done with the sandwiches, I dropped the plate in front of her. The box was halfway done.
‘Cookie! I said only eat the ones you count!’
‘And I did. I counted over and over again to be sure. The answer is deliciously fiffyteen,’
‘Fifteen,’ I corrected. I took my own cheese sandwich and pushed hers to her. She pushed the box aside and charged at the sandwiches like a hungry lioness. ‘Slowly,’ I cautioned. She eats really fast.
I smiled as I watched her. Ted and I didn’t get married immediately, we got married after almost two years, I had my first child before we got married. My first pregnancy was awfully stressful, the kind that made me faint with ever little stress. Ted didn’t want to ruin my dreams of a perfect fairytale wedding or stress me in the process, so we decided to get married after the baby was born. We got married four months after that, our cute baby is Adalberto. After our wedding, we had Elmo and finally, Cookie.
Adalberto spent more time training with Bruce’s son, he was a year and half older. Since Adal was the heir, he wasn’t anything far from how Yolanda was when I first met her; just cuter and more playful. Ah, Yolanda, that she-devil. She left to run the Canadian mafia at fourteen, all by herself. It wasn’t all bad, she acts older. ValerΓa didn’t marry Carlos, he is not a serious person. She ended up with a cute doctor she met during a conference in Solomon. Carlos didn’t really care. Diego, I assume he is okay with his life, he has never said otherwise. Now, Armando was more surprising. He kept begging that he wanted to join the mafia so Ted let him. He took training from River for two years before I sent him to dad for proper martial art training. Since then, he has been more useful to me than anyone else.
Technically, dad still ran his business, though I handled the illegal business and him the legal. Like predicted, he married Carolyn which is so cute. I have a cute two years old brother now. It was a surprise Caro could still get pregnant. It wasn’t easy for me. I had to run my dream Candy’s Secret fashionhouse and dad’s business together. I also helped Ted sometimes and took care of three children. How am I not dead?
‘Adalberto!’ I looked over my shoulder as Adal sauntered in with hands in his pockets. He’s stylish at eight, cute, right?
‘Good afternoon mom, hey baby sis,’
‘Feed you,’ she grinned. He stood close to her and let her feed him. She always shares, that’s her rule.
‘How was practice?’ I asked, turning on the faucet to wash the dishes.
‘I followed your advice mom, I was able to shoot the bottles down with eyes closed.’
‘Good,’
‘Isn’t Elmo back from dance glass al…’
‘Mom, mom!’ Elmo shouted, running into the kitchen. ‘Guess what?’ Elmo is almost six, does more of dancing than shooting but really loves playing with knives like his beautiful mother.
‘Elmo, feed,’ Cookie said cutely, stretching the remaining piece of sandwich to him.
‘Okay kids, go wash up, your sister is coming over to pay a visit today…’ They all shrieked, after months, Yolanda was coming to spend the weekend. They kept shrieking and celebrating, I joined them since it was fun.
Later in the evening, 5pm to be precise. Ted and I managed to sneak out of the living room where the kids were waiting impatiently for Yolanda to arrive. Cookie had something to distract her and keep her away; stare at the door intensely. I made him fall on the bed with our l-ips still locked in a hungry k-ss, my hands trying to get rid of his buttons. His hand was around my wa-ist, the other squeezing one of my cheeks roughly. I mo-ned into his mouth, throwing my legs over to straddle him.
His hands went up to my shirt, ripping it open effortlessly. I giggled and grind myself against him, placing my hands on his chest. A grunt vibrated through his chest, his hands going down to grip my hΒ‘ps. And then it happened. ‘Mommy!!!!’ I gro-ned with frustration, falling my head on the crook of his neck. Ted chuckled.
‘Why do I feel like she’s karma’s punishment for all I did to you,’ I literally sobbed. I sat up straight.
‘Just relax, later.’
‘One month Coco, she won’t let me have s€× with my own husband in peace. Have you forgotten I’m pregnant and need constant serving? Have you forgotten how my hormone increases whenever I’m pregnant? Its not fair Coco.’
‘Cookie, stop crying before your daughter comes here and use a sledgehammer on me this time.’ Ted said worriedly.
‘I want to die,’ I cried.
‘Stop. If Yolanda comes, they’ll be busy with her, right?’ I nodded. ‘Then we can have some alone time.’
‘Okay,’ he sat up, gathering me into his arms like I was an egg. He carried me out of the bed, took me to the wardrobe to find me what to wear. He picked out a rose gold robe and helped me wear it with me still in his arms.
‘Mommy!’
‘Mom!!!’
‘Gosh,’ I whimpered. Ted chuckled again. He carried me downstairs bridal style. He took the stairs so I could have enough time to clean my face and calm down. Yolanda was already in the living room, chasing the boys around with Cookie sitting on her shoulders. They were playing a game. Yolanda was a robot Cookie controlled by directing her movements by her ears and hair. Adal and Elmo were the enemies. Yolanda made cute shooting sounds as she chased them, all four laughing loudly.
Yolanda really grew to be so beautiful. When I look at her, tears well up in my eyes. This is the seven years old girl I saved years ago, now tall with hΒ‘ps, fuller br-asts than mine and a to-die-for face. If she wasn’t so scary, I’m sure many guys would have approached her.
‘Enemies down!’ Elmo and Adal collapsed playfully. Yolanda laughed and carried Cookie down.
‘Mom,’ she walked to me, spreading her hands for a hug. Ted dropped me down. I let her do the hugging. ‘I’ve missed you, how have you been?’
‘Bad, I’m pregnant and ho-ny and the tiny pest won’t let me be.’
‘Oh,’ she chuckled. ‘How about I take them out for two hours?’
‘You’ll do that, for me?’ I asked sweetly. She laughed and let me go.
‘Good evening dad,’ Ted nodded, already leaving to answer a phonecall. ‘Guys, go dress up, I’m taking you all out to explore!’
‘Yay!!!’

‘And remember to give her the vitamins in an hour time. Don’t let her go too high, she gets giddy whenever she is thirteen feet above the ground. Don’t let her run and shout too much, her heart rate will quicken and that might send her into another shock. Remember she’s still trying to recover from the illness. Don’t let her out of your sight and give her water to drink every thirty minutes, at least half a litre. Cookie always gets hungry, I’ve stuffed her bag pack with snacks just in case…’
‘Mom, we are only going out for two to three hours, relax. I’m pretty sure I can handle my little sister.’
‘Don’t let her eat tacos, even if she cries for it. Cookie is allergic to one of the ingredient…’
‘Mom, I’ve got her covered, trust me.’
I inhaled. Am I panicking?
‘Maybe I should come with you to make sure she’s safe,’ I suggested. Yolanda rolled her eyes. ‘Or she should stay home. It’s so cold, I should get her more sweaters…’
Yes, definitely panicking.
‘Praxina, stop that,’ Ted snapped. I still wasn’t okay, I’m like that with my baby. Cookie fell terrible ill once, just because I wasn’t home to notice it. She almost died. I got a front roll ticket to motherhood “baby is dying” madness. Ted had to chain me down when I threatened to break the doctor’s head.
‘But she needs me,’
‘No, she’ll be alright. You are as clingy as she is.’ He said with distaste. I pouted and looked at the sports bike driving to us. Armando’s signature ride. Since he moved to London, he never bothered coming back to avoid Yolanda. Even tho they chat all the time, he didn’t want to see her face to face or know what she looks like.
He claimed he wanted his face to be anonymous to her so when she sees him later, she’ll love him. There are some feelings that never dies.
Yolanda still don’t care.
‘Uncle Armando!’ Cookie shrieked excitedly. Armando removed his helmet. I watched as Yolanda’s mouth slightly parted.
Wow, it worked?
‘Uncle Man,’ Elmo called, waving at him. Armando smiled and got down. He made to move with a file but the moment his eyes caught Yolanda, he missed his steps and fell flat on the ground. The children started laughing. Yolanda rolled her eyes.
‘Fool,’ she muttered. Armando stood up with red cheeks, knowing he embarrassed himself. He cleared his throat and walked to me, pretending like nothing ever happened.
‘Here’s the report on all of Dinah’s activity. Dinah isn’t planning anything evil. Her recent erratic behavior is due to her new s€×capade with the CEO of Olympic Steels.’
‘Isn’t he married?’
‘Divorced with two daughters,’
‘Why s€×capade?’
‘She’s playing both brothers. Remember you once mentioned how you wanted to take their family jewel from them? Dinah took it upon herself to get enough dirt about them, enough to get you what you want.’ He explained. After the wh0le Brad thing, Dinah did a surgery to get her face back and have been living a good life. She somehow met Christian from that band I joined in Greece, they fell in love.
‘And Christian, hope he isn’t aware?’ I asked, taking the brown envelope.
‘Still in Germany, on tour.’
‘Keep it that way, you can go.’
‘Thank you,’ he looked at Yolanda with his best charming smile. She stared back at him emotionlessly. ‘You still have that look? I like you better when we chat.’
‘Armando, follow Yolanda, she’s taking the kids out.’
‘Who wants to drive on my bike?!’
‘Me! Oh pick me!’ Elmo shouted.
‘You rode it last time,’ Cookie huffed. ‘It’s turn!’
‘No, the wind will be too strong for…’
‘You can ride baby,’ Ted said through gritted teeth, giving me his “don’t make my children weaklings” glare. I looked away. Armando carried her and hopped to his bike as they laughed. Yolanda came to me and grabbed my elbow.
‘Holy mother of sweet hotness, is that demi god Armando?’ She whispered.
‘As you can see,’ I chuckled.
‘When did he grow to be so…so…f-ck mom, did I say I want to die a V-rgin? My head wasn’t working well.’ She laughed. We both laughed. She spoke in a whisper.
‘Well, he’s got ten babes,’
‘We’ll see about that.’ She smirked. She k-ssed my cheek and walked to her car, changing her hairstyle. I rolled my eyes with a grin to Ted who was now on the phone.
‘Bye mom!’
‘Bye mommy!’ I waved them bye. I turned to Ted after they left, he was leaving too.
‘No way!’
‘Sorry love, duty calls.’
Ouch, so many ouchs.
That was how I ended up sleeping alone in my room. I felt someone crawl into the bed, too tired to get up. I knew it was him when his scent k-ssed my nostrils. ‘You awake love?’
‘Are they back?’ I asked hoarsely.
‘Put them to sleep already.’
‘Have you eaten?’
‘I don’t eat most nights,’ he reminded me. An habit Adalberto inherited.
‘Okay,’ I murmured, going back to sleep. Iaid on the bed with stomach down. He pulled me into his warmth by my wa-ist, entwining our legs together and resting his head on my shoulder.
‘I love you, Cookie.’
‘Love you too Coco.’ I smiled as I slowly dozed off, happy that it was just us for the night.
‘Psst, daddy, shift,’ I heard Cookie whisper. ‘That’s my sβ‚±0t. Go sleep outside.’ Nevermind.
It is na end! 😹
