💊 Prime Minister’s POV 💊
“Why did you ask me to visit you so late at night?” James asked as he entered my room
“And you look so pale, what’s wrong with you?” He asked
“I wouldn’t have asked you to come here this late if it wasn’t urgent, I’ve been diagnosed with Pituitary gland adenoma” I said
“What the hell is that?”
“I thought you were once a doctor?” I asked
“I was but I didn’t major in Neurology” he replied
“Okay, let’s just say it’s something very deadly and can only be corrected by a surgery but it’s a very difficult surgery and very few Neurosurgeon can carry out the surgery” I said
“Then find out those surgeons and have them carry the surgery discreetly cause if the world finds out you have such a deadly disease? Let’s just say it won’t be good for your political career”
“I know James, why do you think I called you here in the middle of the night? Among those surgeons that can carry out the surgery, two are right here in London, your son Ryan and Alexander Sanchez” I said and he paused a bit
“You and I know it’s got to be Ryan right?” James said
“There’s more chance of success with Alex than with Ryan, you and I know Alex is more skilled than Ryan”
“No William, there’s is more chance of failure with Alex than Ryan, this isn’t about skills, Alex will never agree to operate on you and if he ever agrees? Then you definitely won’t survive the surgery cause he will kill you, I thought you were smart you should’ve known this, you killed that guy’s parents there’s no way he’ll save your life” James said
“I didn’t kill his parents, you did” I said
“What?!”
“You pulled the trigger not me” I said
“But it was on your order!!” James yelled “The only reason I agreed to be your shoot guy is because you promised me a position in your administration so if the reason you called me here is for you to remind me of my past deeds then am leaving and nemesis ever catch up with you, I won’t be standing by your side, it’s every man for himself!” He said and began to walk out
“James wait, am sorry” I said and he stopped “I was just…… My head is messed up and I ain’t thinking well right now”
“That’s not an excuse for you to ditch all your bad deeds on me!” He said as he walked back
“Am sorry and you are right, Alex will never operate on me, can you arrange meeting for me and Ryan tomorrow?” I asked
“Here?” He asked
“Yeah, it’s not like am in the condition to go anywhere now” I said and he nodded
“Sure, I’ll bring him here tomorrow”
💊 Jasmine’s POV 💊
“Jasmine” someone tapped me from behind and I woke up
“It’s morning already, didn’t you go home last night?” Tony asked
“No, Alex is still not awake” I said
“Am sure he’ll be awake soon” Tony said
“Who are they?” I asked as I noticed two people, a man and a woman, standing behind Tony
“This is Mason and his wife, they are like umm…… A parent to Alex” Tony said
“We came to check up on him” Mason said
“Welcome, you guys should sit” I said and I suddenly saw Emma pass by “Umm…. excuse me”
I said and I ran after Emma
“Emma!” I called and she stopped and turned back
“What’s it?” She asked
“What’s it?” I asked surprised “Alex is unconscious in that room and you don’t seem to care”
“He’s already receiving treatment so is there any problem?” She asked and I scoffed
“You know I used to think you care alot about Alex, I mean whenever he’s in trouble, you always try to do whatever you can to save him but now you don’t even seem concerned”
“He doesn’t deserve my concern, not after spoiling plans and unless a miracle happens, he’s absolutely useless to me now” she said and I kept quiet for a bit
“There’s something going on between you two right?”
“You know nothing and trust me, you’ll want to keep that way if you want to remain safe” she said as she began to walk away

“I do know that Alex’s parents were murdered” I said and she stopped on her tracks and then walked back to me
“Did Alex tell you? How much do you know?” She asked
“Everything Emma, everything” I said
“I guess Alex was foolish enough to tell you all his secrets, am beginning to think he can’t keep his mouth shut, I thought he learnt his lesson when his medical records was released to the world by William Sanders but I guess not, so now that you know everything, try not to go blabbering around cause if William Sanders finds out about what you know, he’ll kill you just like he killed both Alex’s parents and my parents” Emma said and my jaw dropped
“William Sanders as in the Prime Minister? So he’s responsible for all this? He’s the one that revealed to the world that Alex has hand tremors? Why? I mean I thought he was a good man”
“What are you saying? I thought you already knew everything” Emma said
“I tricked you, Alex never told me anything so I wanted you to tell me yourself” I said and she grabbed my arm
“You fool, how dare you trick me?! You and Alex are just the same, a bunch of emotional fools” she said and walked away
💊 Ryan’s POV 💊
“How is his vitals?” I asked as I dropped the Scalpel
We are in the operation and I just finished operating on a patient
“Stable Doctor” Megan replied
“Great, make sure to continue checking up on him” I said as I walked out of the operation room
I went to my office and met Dad seated
“Dad? You are here?” I asked as I sat opposite him
“Yeah, we need to talk about something important” he said
“What?” I asked
“The Prime Minister, ummm…… He wants to see you”
“Why?” I asked
“Well, he’s kinda sick and we need you to perform his surgery” he said and I chuckled
“Is something funny?” He asked surprised
“Yes actually, it’s funny how you only care about me when I’ve dissapointed you and you need to scold me or when you need something from me”
“I don’t know what you are saying Ryan but this is very important…..”
“Did you notice that am no longer on crutches?” I asked
“Were you on crutches before?” He asked and I couldn’t help but laugh
“You’re kidding me right? So you never noticed I was on crutches? Did you even know that I was shot in Afghanistan?” I asked
“That is unimportant right now, the Minister wants to see you today and it’s really urgent, he was diagnosed with……”
“Am not going anywhere with you” I said interrupting him
“What?”
“You do not care about me at Dad, you only care about what you gain from me so from now on, am going to stop trying to please you and live for myself”.
“Are you stupid Ryan! This is a golden opportunity for you!!” He yelled
“I don’t want it, the door is not locked, you can see yourself out” I said as I turned my back on him and moments later, I heard him storm out
💊 Prime Minister’s POV 💊
I managed to get up and went to dinning to have my breakfast that was served by the cook
Moments later, one of the security agent came in
“Mr James Wilson is here to see you Sir” he said
“Is here alone?” I asked
“Yes”
“Let him in” I said and he left
Moments later, James came in
“Why are you here alone, where’s your soon?” I asked
“We had ummm…… We had a disagreement” he said
“What disagreement?” I asked
“He…… well, he’s angry with me so he refused to do anything I tell him to but give me a little more time, I’ll definitely patch things up with him and bring him tomorrow”
“Time is what I do not have, the more I delay the surgery the deadlier it becomes and the more slim my chances are” I said
“I know, I’ll don’t know what’s wrong with Ryan, recently he somethings seems to be wrong with him but I’ll definitely sort everything out and bring him back tomorrow so please….”
“That’s it, am going with Alex”
“What?! You know you can’t let Alex operate on you” he said
“And I can’t let your son operate on me either, you said it yourself, something is wrong with Ryan and I surely won’t depend on someone who’s not focused to save my life”
“You can’t let Alex operate on you either, if that happens, your death is assured” James said
“I know Alex, he doesn’t have the guts to kill me”
“I think he does considering you took everything from him, his parents, his memory and his career, you literally ruined his life, he’ll end you any chance he gets” James said
“Then we’ll just have to make sure he can’t do that but first, get me my phone”
💊 Alex’s POV 💊
“Gosh my head” I said as I opened my eyes and slowly raised my head
And I noticed Jasmine sitting beside me, head down
“Jasmine” I called and she raised up her head
“Alex!” She exclaimed and hugged me
“Wow” I muttered with a smile
“I was so worried about you, why on Earth will you lock yourself up for three days Alex, three good days, do you know how worried I was, I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t eat, don’t you ever try such a thing you jerk, I don’t know how I was” she said and I couldn’t help but laugh
“Why are you laughing?” She ask
“Well, a minute ago you hugged me and you were so happy that I was finally awake and now what, you’re calling me a jerk”
“You caused it, just don’t ever try that again okay?”
“Okay” I said
“Promise?” She asked
“Cross my heart” I said and she smiled
“Thanks for worrying about me even after I pushed you away” I said
“Yeah, I understand why you did all that, I heard everything from Emma” she said
“What are you talking about?”
“Am talking about the Prime Minister killing your parents” she said and I looked at her surprised
“How did you….. Emma told you herself?”
“I kinda tricked her but yes, she told me. Why didn’t you tell me Alex, you were going through so much but you hid it from me” she said
“Am sorry, I just…..”
“You don’t have to be alone in this Alex, am always with you, by your side” she said as she held my hand
And then a part of me wanted me to tell her that….. that I love her and how much she’s important to me
Our eyes locked and I started to move my face closer to hers, to kiss her
“Alex!” Some called and I quickly moved back
“Emma?” I thought she was angry with me so why’s she here and why does she look so excited
“It worked Alex, my plan worked!” She said looking happy
“What plan?” I asked
“They just announced in the News that they were wrong about you, they said they found the wrong medical record so you don’t have hand tremors and they apologized for causing you any inconveniences, the director called me too asking me to bring you back to work” Emma said and I looked at her surprised
