I wrapped my hands around his neck and k-ssed him.
I helped him in removing my clothes and mo-ned as he car-ssed me.
He plunged into me and a gasp escaped from me.
I smiled, knowing he’s mine now.

I woke up the next day in Fernando’s arms and smiled broadly.
I finally got him under my claws.
I watched him sleep and I played with his hair.
Oh what type of girlfriend am I?
He was drunk last night so he’d probably have an headache when he wakes up.
I smiled and went to freshen up.
After freshening up, I went downstairs to make tea for Fernando.
I met Fernando in the sitting room and headed arched his brows when he saw me.
I smiled and cat walked to the kitchen.

~ Fernando ~

I opened my eyes and regretted it immediately cause the light from the window almost blinded me.
I sat up on my bed and buried my face in my palms trying to ease the pounding headache I had.
Looking everywhere, I noticed my clothes on the floor and a female clothe.
The bed was a mess and I was unclad.
My heart started pounding hærd in my chest as to what I had done.
Who did I do it with?
The door flew open and I gritted my teeth when I saw Melanie.
“how are you love ” she said and o almost got of the bed to strangle her but I was unclad.
I can’t believe I f-cked up.
How could I’ve done such a thing.
“get out ” I said calmly despite the headache I had.
“but… ”
“now “I commanded and she dropped the tea on the table then walked out.
I collapsed back on my bed and let the tears pour.
I can’t believe myself.
After sulking for a while, I went to freshen up.
I just hope this mistake of mine don’t hold me right on my neck.

It’s been weeks since I did the surgery and I can say things are going well for me.
I walk on my own now and I can talk too.
My stomach is growing too and I’m becoming fat.
I’m fully alive just left with the bandage to be removed off my face to welcome my new look.
Dad walked into my ward where I sat reading a novel.
“hey dad ” I said and he smiled.
Doc Martin had earlier told me that sir Enrique so much loved his daughter and she was the only one he had till she left.
So now that I accepted to have Lanna’s face, I had to take over her responsibility as a daughter and everything else.
“how are you my angel ” dad asked as he k-ssed my hair.
“are you ready ” he asked and I nodded with a smile.
“I’ve been waiting like forever for this thing to be taken off so yeah ” I said and he chuckled.
Doc Martin walked in and smiled at me.
He loosened the bandage and slowly than ever, he unwrapped it.
My face felt empty when the bandage came off.
I ran my fingers down my new face and smiled as a tear slid down my cheek.
I’m no more Tatiana Grande but Lanna Delacruz.
This is me now.

I looked over to dad and he had tears in his eyes too.
He walked to me and hugged me.
“time to start a new life ” dad said and I smiled in tears.
I haven’t told dad about my plan for revenge yet but I will when we get home.
Dad and I packed up and he drove home.
I almost choked on my breath when I saw the mansion.
And here I was, thinking the Buenevistas had it all but theirs is nothing compared to this.
Dad and I walked in and I almost ran out of breath, admiring the mansion.
Dad showed me Lanna’s room and he left me to rest.
I admire Lanna’s room, clothes and everything.
I just have to learn to walk, eat, talk and behave like her.
From the little I know about Lanna, she talks a lot and she’s jovial.
She talks to her dad like she’s his wife and that’s what I’m gonna do.
Sir Enrique will forget his pain in no time.

I just have to wait some few more months and I’ll give birth to little Fernando then nothing will be in my way.
I have to talk to dad Enrique about my dad so he’ll help me look for him.
I went to the bathroom and freshened up.
I picked a simple gown from Lanna’s closet and put it on.
There was a photo album in the drawer and it was of Lanna, her dad and a woman I presumed to be her mom.
This photo will help me a lot in becoming Lanna.
I packed my hair in a ponytail cause that’s how Lanna leaves her hair.
As for walking like Lanna, that will be difficult cause I didn’t remark that.
I was done so I walked downstairs to the sitting room.
I met dad Enrique on the couch and I went over to sit with him.
He held a photo frame of Lanna.
“dad ” I called and got his attention.
“I have to tell you something ” I said and he gave me a go ahead sign.
I s-cked in a breath and let it out.
I told dad Enrique everything and he felt pity for me.
I could see the pain in his eyes.
“you’re right honey, they need to be punished for all they did ” he said and I nodded already in tears.
“I’ll have my investigator look into your dad’s case immediately ” he said and I smiled.

“thanks dad ” I said and hugged him.
“Lanna doesn’t say thanks ” he said and I chuckled.
I’ll note that to myself, Lana doesn’t say thanks.
Days flew by and my stomach was becoming bigger.
Dad Enrique showed me the love a father would and he never made me remember my sorrows.
I cried the day dad Enrique’s investigator said my real dad’s already dead.
He died in the fire.
All my family gone.
I’m an orphan.
The Buenevistas will pay, even if it’s the last thing I do.

~ Fernando ~

“what! ” I exclaimed.
It’s been weeks since the incident between Melanie and I happened and I haven’t stopped blaming myself.
I never let her into my life since that day cause I didn’t wanna make another mistake.
Today she came and summoned my wh0le family to the sitting room and she broke the news that she’s pregnant for me.
“what are you so surprised about “mom yelled.
“she’s pregnant for you and you should be happy ” mom seethed and I cussed.
Just one mistake is about to ruin my entire life.
“now what ” I asked.
“you’ll have to marry her ” mom blurted out.

As usual, dad and I were in my room watching Lanna’s favorite movie when the doorbell rang.
I wanted to get it but dad insisted he goes cause I’m pregnant.
Dad went downstairs to get it while I continued the movie.
Dad employed a personal gynaecologist to take care of my and my unborn child.
He’s the second best dad after my real dad.
After waiting for quite a while for dad, I decided to go check who came.
I came out of my room and looked from the stairs.
Dad was talking to man.
He’d be the same age as Fernando or younger.
I went back to my room and waited for dad.
He came and sat beside me.
“who was that ” I asked.
“Leo, Lanna’s boyfriend ” he said and my head snapped to him.
“yes dear and he doesn’t even know Lanna’s dead” dad said and my eyes w¡dened a little.
I know the look he’s giving me.
Since I’m now Lanna, that means I have to take Leo as my boyfriend too.
Holy crap! With my big belly.

~ Fernando ~

“over my dead body will I marry this wh-re” I spat and ran upstairs.
I ignored grandpa’s callings and ran
up to my room.
I laid on my bed and slept off without an heavy heart.

~ Tatiana ~

“can’t we tell him that Lanna’s dead ” I asked dad Enrique.
“that won’t be good cause if he knows Lanna’s dead, he’d be heart broken and the news would be everywhere that I gave you Lanna’s face. It would be everywhere and the Buenevistas might even get to know about you and come after you ” he explained.

He’s right, no one has to know I’m not the real Lanna except the both of us.
“but dad, how will I act as Lanna to Leo with my big stomach ” I asked.
“well, just get under the duvet and say you’re sick cause he’s coming up here to see you. I’ll tell him that I want to fly you out to another country and that will make things easier for you till you give birth ” he said and I smiled.
I nodded and he left.
I it under the thick duvet and waited patiently for Leo.
The door opened and he walked in.
He had blonde hair, green eyes and sharp jawline.

If I hadn’t loved Fernando, I’d drool over him.
I shunned myself mentally cause I’d soon be a mother.
“my love ” he said softly with a smile and came to me.
He sat beside me on the bed and squatted to k-ss my l-ips.
I turned away and he gave me a weird look.
Gosh! I’m not Tatiana but Lanna now.
I smiled and k-ssed him.
The k-ss got w-t and intense and before he could make anymore move, I pulled away slowly so he wouldn’t think I don’t want it.
He smiled and k-ssed my forehead.
“I missed you ” he said and I smiled.
“I missed you too ” I said and he stopped smiling.

My heart started pounding hærd in my chest thinking I’ve made a mistake and he’ll catch me.
“your voice sound different ” he said.
“maybe because I stayed away from you for too long ” he said and chuckled.
I joined him in chuckling and he took my hands in his.
“as soon as I arrived in USA, I came straight here” he said and I acted flushed.
He k-ssed my hand and smiled.
“I wanna take you out ” he said and my smile faded.
“what is it ” he asked.
“Uhm I don’t feel too good and that’s why I’m in bed” I said and he got worried.
“have you seen the doctor? do you want me to call him? Are you hurting anywhere ” he asked with concern etched all over his face.
“no, dad already got me the doc ” I said and he heaved a sigh of relief.
I smiled and he k-ssed my forehead.
“I love you ” he said and I almost choked on my breath.

“I. Love. You ” I broke my words and he chuckled.
“you’ve really changed ” he said and I smiled.
“you don’t even blab like before nor jump on me nor even drag me out to show me all that I’ve missed ” he said and I felt kinda guilty.
I smiled and gently squeezed his hand.
“just get well soon okay ” he said and I nodded.
“do you want me to stay for the night ” he asked.
What do I say now?
Would Lanna had allowed him stay?
Yes cause you’d wanna spend all your time with your love.

No cause he just got back from wherever he went and he needs rest.
Gosh what do I chose?
“are you… ” he was saying but trailed off when his phone rang.
“sorry love, I have to go ” he said.
“don’t worry, you need to rest anyway, I’ll be fine ” I said and he studied me for quite a while that I started to shake under his gaze.
“what ” I asked with a pounding heart.
“you don’t call me my pet name again ” he said and I breathed out an “oh”.
“now call me that ” he said softly.
What pet name could Lanna possibly call her boyfriend?
I don’t even know Lanna well enough.
Dad didn’t even tell me Lanna has a boyfriend, I guess it slipped his mind.
“what are you thinking ” he asked and just then his phone rang again.
“jeez! I have to go ” he k-ssed me in the l-ips and left.
Thank God! I’m saved today.

~ Fernando ~

I squeezed my eyes shot as the sun shone bright into my room.
Who the hell opened my curtains?
I angrily sat up, ready to vent my anger on the person that interrupted my sleep.
I looked to the person and I almost swallowed my tongue.
“De..Debbie ” I stuttered and swallowed hærd.
Debbie’s my elder sister and she’s very strict.
If she’d known I had thoughts of venting my anger on her, I’d be a dead meat.
“what? You wanted to vent your anger right ” she asked.
I gave her a look of “how did you know “.
“common, I know you dislike being woken up in the morning ” she said.
I rolled my eyes and laid back on my bed.

She walked towards me and sat beside me.
“I heard everything ” she said.
“I didn’t know you were coming ” I said.
Debbie had travelled to NY for some stuffs, I didn’t even know.
“you were too busy sulking over your dead girlfriend ” she blurted out and I flared up.
“Wo Wo Wo, chill ” she said and I called my nerves, knowing she’s my elder sis and I can’t do anything to disrespect her.
“I heard everything ” she said and I sat up, ready to let out all my pains.
“oh come here ” she said softly and I hugged her and cried.
“ssshhhh ” she cooed.
She pulled away and wiped my tears.
“you have to marry Melanie ” she blurted out and I was taken aback.
“I can’t believe you ” I snapped.
She gave me a look to calm my voice and I did.

Debbie is a no nonsense person and she loves benefits respected.
She’s the first child and daughter of the family.
“I’m not saying you should forget your first love, marry her for your unborn child ” she said and I looked away.
“if not for anything then for your unborn child, give her the privilege to have both a mother and a father ” she tired to coax me.
“you sure you weren’t asked to come so you could talk me into marrying Melanie ” I asked and she gave me a glare.
“I was planning on coming ever since you lost your girlfriend cause I know you’d be hurt and I had to be here for you ” she said and I rolled my eyes.
“even Tatiana would want you to give your child the happiness in the wh0le word “she said.
“yes she would but she would be heartbroken that I even made a child with that bitch ” I said and she nodded in understanding.
“what’s done is done so you have to take responsibility of it ” she said.
“I don’t want to spend my life with anyone except Tatiana ” I remarked.
“what if she’s dead ” she asked.
I gave her a glare and sighed.
“then I’ll die unmarried ” I blurted out and she gasped.

“Fernando Buenevista ” she called.
“marry Melanie, not because you love her but because you had to ” she said.
“Tatiana would be happy wherever she is that you took a decision for your unborn child ” she said and I sighed.
“fine ” I said and she hugged me.
“now you’re acting matured ” she teased.
“sure I shouldn’t just take her in and when she gives birth, I take the child and dump her ” I asked and she nudged me.
“but if Tatiana comes back, I’ll divorce her ” I said and she rolled her eyes.
“I’ll announce the news right away and we’ll start your wedding preparations ” she said and ran out.
I’m sorry Tatiana, hope you’ll forgive me.
I still love you and I’ll love till forever.

I had just finished taking my bathe so I went downstairs.
“good morning ” I greeted the maid that was setting the dinning table.
“morning Lanna ” she said.
At first I was surprised she called me Lanna cause a maid is to call their masters ma’am or sir but then I thought, Lanna is a good girl so she must’ve instructed them to call her by her name.
“where’s dad ” I asked.
“sir went out early this morning ” she replied.

He must’ve gone to Lanna’s grave.
I’ll do everything to make him forget his sorrows.
“how long have you been working here ” I asked as I took my seat.
“for years ” she replied.
“so you know Lanna very well ” I asked and she arched an eyebrow.
“I mean do you know me very well ” I asked.
“sure but Elisa is the one who knows everything about you, remember ” she asked and I breathed out an “oh”
I’ll have to ask dad about Elisa.
We heard tires screech and I smiled.
“dad must be here ” I smiled.
The maid which I know to be Harmony, peeped out through the window.
“it’s sir Leo ” she said and I choked on my food.
I gulped down water and let out a sigh.
I looked at myself and was glad cause I wore a very big gown that hid my stomach.

Harmony went to get the door and Leo walked in.
“morning my love ” he greeted and pecked my cheek.
“morning ” I said and he arched an eyebrow.
“you never reply to my good mornings and you hærdly even greet ” he said and I smiled to cover it off.
Laban doesn’t say thank you and she hærdly greets, noted.
So Lanna might be kind and all but she’s still kinda spoilt.
She’s a rich kid anyway.
“I came right in time ” Leo said and took his seat beside me.
“now call me ” Leo said and I looked over to him.
“call me the pet name you gave me, I miss hearing it from you ” he demanded.
I swallowed the lump I presumed to be stuck in my throat and glanced at Harmony.
How do I get out of this?
