~ Tatiana ~

We arrived home and alighted.

We got in and plumped down on the couch.

I got up and headed to my room.

I met Leo at his doorstep.

I swallowed when our eyes met.

I looked away and made to go to my room but he stopped me.

“I’m sorry ” he apologized.

“you don’t have to apologize, I understand you. I’m sorry I made you sed-ce Sasha, you can stop it ” I said and he nodded negatively.

“I can continue it, it’s all about pretense anyway and I can do it just to get justice for all the wronged people ” he said and I smiled.

I nodded at him with a smile and walked into my room.

Thank God we still gat Leo.

I laid on my bed, thinking about what Lanna had said.

If I wanna know my real parents, I should call her or go to the address.

I have to know them cause they’re my parents but on the other hand, they abandoned me.

Why should I look for those that didn’t care if I was alive or not?

They didn’t even look for me.

Maybe they did.

Aiish I don’t know what to do.

Should I tell mom about this?

No! She wouldn’t allow me.

Since I’ve gat no phone, I’ll go to the address tomorrow.

Yes! I’ll go know about me.

I closed my eyes and slept off.

I woke up the next day and tidied up.

Clara my elder sister came to my room and told me she’ll go to market with mom.

Dad had already gone to work which means I’ll be left all alone in the house.

After having breakfast with mom and Clara, they left.

I smiled and walked out.

I locked the door and kept the key in its usual place then ran off.

I’ll use my saving to catch a cab to the address.

Knowing my parents is more important.

I hailed a cab after giving the chauffeur the card.

Hours later, we arrived and I alighted.

My mouth hung open at the mansion in front of me.

I was still outside on the street but it was like I was in paradise.

I walked to the gate and gently knocked on it.

I waited a while before the gate opened itself.

I blinked rapidly at the sight of it.

I gently stepped into the compound and looked around.

This is surely a paradise.

I didn’t know which way to go cause it was big and large.

“welcome ” I heard and jumped in fear.

I turned to see Lanna and I heaved a sigh of relief.

“come in ” she offered and I walked up to her.

She ushered me in and I went in.

My eyes wandered everywhere and I sighted a photo of me when I was little on the wall.

There were pictures of me in the sitting room and I wondered why.

She told me to sit and I did.

She gave me juice and I gladly took it.

As soon as I gulped down the juice, I wanted more.

She noticed it and smiled.

She signaled a girl to go bring juice for me and she did.

She came back with the bottle of the juice and I smiled.

Lanna smiled and sat beside me.

We heard a knock on the gate and when we connected to the CCTV camera, we saw Faye.

I was glad she came and I already planned everything.

I already got a game DNA results that states she’s my sister.

I told Johanna and Brian to put some of her pics when she was a girl in the sitting room and they did.

After setting everything, I pressed a button and the gate opened itself.

I welcomed her in and sat beside her.

“Faye honey, I’m sorry ” I said in a low voice like I’d bust out in tears any moment from now.

“what for” she asked softly.

“I’m just sorry for not looking for you in time ” I said and let the tears stream down my cheeks.

I glanced at Johanna and Brian and they were at the verge of laughter.

They left the sitting room cause they couldn’t suppress the urge to laugh.

“what do you mean by that ” Faye asked.

“I’m your sister Faye ” I blurted out.

God forgive me for this.

If I tell her about her real parents then she wouldn’t want to go against them.

“what ” she exclaimed and I nodded in tears.

“we lost you in the river and we’ve been searching for you but couldn’t find you. Mom and dad died and I was depressed so I had to drop the search for you. But now that I’ve gotten over them, I started my search all over again and found you” I lied and she already started crying.

“I’m sorry ” I cried.

“you don’t have to, it’s not your fault ” she cried and hugged me.

“here ” I said and handed her the DNA test result.

“it’s a sibling DNA test and we’re siblings ” I assured her.

“I’ve never for once lost hope about you and that was why I decorated the sitting room with your pics ” I said.

“but why don’t I remember anything ” she asked and I sniffed.

“that’s because you were still very young when we lost you in the river, you were still a very little girl ” I said and she sniffed.

“oh Lanna ” she said and cried in my arms.

I car-ssed her hair and smiled to myself.

“I want you to come live with me ” I said and she nodded.

“I’ve spent my life with other people so I want to live with my real sister ” she said.

“it just hurts so much that I didn’t get to see mom and dad ” she cried.

“I’ll show you photos of them ” I assured.

“how did they die ” she asked in tears.

“they were killed ” I said and this time my tears were becoming real.

The death of my parents felt fresh in my heart and I started crying.

“mom was poisoned by the Buenevistas and dad was blown up by them too” I cried.

She pulled away in shock.

“I knew it! The Buenevistas have always been bad people ” she cried.

Everyone knows them as devils.

“that’s why I want to seek justice for our patents and for those who were oppressed by them ” I said and cleaned my tears.

“the Buenevistas won’t go free and they must pay ” I assured.

“will you join me to seek justice for our parents and those that were wronged ” I asked.

“I will join you to bring them down, they’ll pay for all the bad deeds they’ve committed ” she said amidst tears.

I hugged her and we cried.

Faye and I were seated in the meeting room with the others.

I already introduced her to all of them.

She seemed to have gotten interest in Leo.

She asked me if he was human and I laughed.

“all of us here already have our roles to play ” I told her and she nodded, her eyes still on Leo.

“then what will my role be ” she asked.

“the Buenevistas also lost their daughter ” I said and she arched an eyebrow.

“so we’ll use you as the daughter they lost” I said.

“how? They’ll consult a DNA test and they’ll know it’s a lie ” she said.

“we’ll bribe the docs and they’ll give them a fake result ” I said.

“but the Buenevistas have power and… ”

“we’re more powerful than them ” I cut her off.

I had no plans for faking any result.

Once the Buenevistas consult a DNA test and she’s really their daughter, they’ll take her in.

She would think I had faked it not knowing she’s really a Buenevista.

“after they take you in, you’ll act as their daughter and earn their trust. You’ll know everything about them and you’ll give us info to use against them” I said and she nodded.

“that’s as simple as ABC, I would do anything to avenge our parents death and make sure the Buenevistas pay ” she said and we clapped for her.

I feel bad using her but she’s a Buenevista and it’s not like we’re gonna kill her anyway, we’re just using her to seek justice.

Problem 1 fully solved.
