AFTER SCHOOL**

Pearl was fast asleep in the library when she suddenly woke up,she opened her eyes and checked the time,school ended already and she really ended up just attending two classes for the day

She took her phone and saw countless calls from Bonnie and Everest. They must have been worried.

She sighed and rub her eyes which was somehow red from the tears. She arranged her hair and stood up,she left the library and went to class.

Juliet followed Romeo immediately he left the class

“Romeo wait” She called and Romeo stopped

She caught up with him and smiled

“Mind exchanging contacts? We are friends now” She said

“I’m not interested” Romeo muttered

“But….” She stopped when Romeo’s friends appeared

“Hi guys” she smiled at them

“Hey Juliet”

“Princeton!! Donovan! Monkeys!!” Lyric called from the back and they both turned to see her coming

“When did you two got so close with that girl?” Ryan asked

“Who knows” Princeton muttered as Lyric finally got to them with Sapphire beside her

“What do you want? You want to follow me home?” Princeton smiled

“Your wish” Lyric scoffed and brought out her phone

“Since we are partners,put down your numbers there. Don’t worry I won’t call you unnecessarily” She said

Donovan took her phone and dropped his number

Princeton did the same

“Good” Lyric smiled

“You can call me anytime you want” Princeton said

“You can’t flirt with me” Lyric shook her head

“Whoaaa!!!” Ryan and Donovan clapped and Lyric winked

“Sapphire and Romeo,you two have been quiet all day” Ryan suddenly said

“I’m fine” Romeo muttered and Sapphire kept quiet

“To brighten the mood,how about coming over to my house and let’s watch some r-omantic movies???” Ryan asked with a wide grin

“Really? Can I come over too?” Lyric asked

“Yeah sure,come with Sapphire” Ryan smiled

“Romeo,don’t you dare say you’re not interested” Princeton said

“I can just watch movie in my own house” Romeo muttered

“Oh please,don’t be boring” Donovan gr-0aned

“Fine I will be there” Romeo said

“What about me? Can I join you guys?” Juliet asked

“Sure you can” Donovan nodded and Juliet smiled

Ryan saw Pearl coming

“Is Pearl really sick?” He asked Romeo

Romeo kept quiet until Pearl got to them

“Pearl!” Sapphire called and Pearl hugged her

“Wow,I guess they are close” Donovan muttered

Lyric also hugged Pearl

Pearl turned to the boys

“Hi seniors” She smiled

“Hey kiddo,,,are you okay?” Princeton asked

“I’m fine,thank you” Pearl replied

“Hey Pearl” Juliet waved but Pearl ignored her as usual

Juliet scoffed and walked away

“You should come with Romeo” Ryan said

“Where? Your house?” Pearl asked

“Yeah,to have fun” Ryan winked

“Sure I will be there” Pearl smiled

“See you later” Romeo muttered and walked away

“Bye Senior Sapphire” Pearl waved and immediately followed Romeo

They both got into the car and Romeo drove out of the school

“Are you okay?” He finally asked after the long silence

“Not like you care” Pearl muttered,resting her back properly on the seat

“Why won’t I care? I never said I don’t care about you okay? I just…..”

“We should stay out of each other’s business brother,finish what you started” Pearl said slowly and closed her eyes

There was total silence after that,nobody talk until they got home

Pearl was the first to get down from the car

She went into the house,she was surprised to see her dad

“Daddy!!!” She shouted happily and immediately rushed to hug him

“Hey baby” Mr Cayden hugged Pearl and lifted her up in the process

“I missed you so much,I’m glad you’re back” Pearl muttered

“I missed you too baby,where’s your brother?” Mr Cayden

Romeo came In before Pearl could reply

“Welcome dad” Romeo greeted

“Hey man” Mr Cayden and hugged Romeo

“Wait dad,are you going somewhere again?” Pearl asked,checking her dad’s outfit

‘Yeah I’m going out with my wife” Mr Cayden said and Pearl laughed

“But not with us? That’s unfair,she’s not the only one who missed you” Romeo said

“Of course we should go for a family dinner…maybe on Saturday?? What do you think?” Mr Cayden asked

“Yes daddy! I can’t wait!” Pearl jumped happily and Romeo smiled

Mrs Cayden came downstairs in a matching outfit

“Wow,matching outfit? I guess you’re going somewhere fun” Pearl said and hugged her

“Yeah we will return in the morning” Mr Cayden said

“You guys will be fine right?” Mrs Cayden asked

“It’s not the first time we are staying alone and besides don’t worry,brother and I will be going to senior Ryan’s house to have some fun before coming back home” Pearl smiled

“Oh,is that true?” Mr Cayden asked Romeo and he nodded

“Watch over your sister,be careful don’t let her out of your sight” Mr Cayden said

Romeo nodded again

“Bye then,see you in the morning” Romeo said before going upstairs

“Bye mom,bye dad. Can you buy alot of ice cream on your way back home?” Pearl pouted

“Penelope can get that for you” Mr Cayden Said

“Oh that’s right,bye” Pearl waved as they walked out

She sighed and went upstairs

6PM**

Romeo almost knocked on Pearl’s door but he changed his mind and went downstairs.

“Good evening” Penelope greeted as he entered the kitchen

Hi” Romeo replied with a short smile

“Do you need anything?” Penelope asked

“A drink” Romeo replied and opened the fridge

He took a strawberry juice and his eyes caught with a chocolate bar pack

“Who is this for?” He asked

“Oh…It’s for Pearl. Ryan brought that when they visited during the weekend,I guess Pearl forgot about it” Penelope replied and Romeo looked at the pack again

“That’s mine right?” Pearl came in

“Yeah,I thought you forgot about it” Penelope said

“Of course not” Pearl moved closer and took it

“Oh,I guess you two are going out. I’m preparing dinner already” Penelope said

“I will make sure I eat alot when I get back,I promise” Pearl said and Penelope smiled

Romeo stared at Pearl outfit,her skirt seems too short for his liking but he kept quiet since she wouldn’t listen,not even now.

He walked out of the kitchen and Pearl followed him

Romeo turned at once when they got to the living room

“Are you really wearing that??” He asked,looking at her skirt

“Of course,why?” Pearl asked

“Don’t you think it’s too short??” Romeo asked

“We should stay out of each other’s business” Pearl said and went out

Romeo sighed and followed her

They left the house

THE JAMES MANSION**

“Hey Pearl,over here!!” Lyric called as Pearl came in with Romeo

Pearl immediately ran to join Lyric and Sapphire,Juliet was also with them but she stood up immediately she saw Romeo

“Hey Romeo” She called and Pearl looked at her hatefully as she walked to Romeo

She let out a scoff

“Is that girl interested in Romeo? She seems clingy” Lyric said

“I guess so,but my brother is not interested” Pearl said and sat down

“How sure are you? I’ve never seen Romeo getting angry anytime she calls him” Sapphire scoffed

“Are you jealous?” Lyric chuckled and gave Pearl her drink

Pearl looked around and her eyes met with Campbell talking to Frankie.

“Guys do you have any idea of the movie we are watching or should I tell you my top hundred list?” Lyric spoke up

“Top hundred?? Do you even study at all??” Donovan asked and Lyric glared at him

“Lyric you should give us your lists” Ryan said and Lyric immediately stood up and sat down beside Ryan

“Seriously?? I hope your recommendation aren’t about international playboys” Princeton said and Lyric shot him a glare too

“What” Princeton also glared at her

“I really don’t have your time tonight,we Shall meet In school tomorrow” Lyric said and turned back to Ryan

“Am I late?” Cameron rushed in and all eyes fell on him

“Oh it’s my seatmate” Juliet smiled beside Romeo

“You are not even invited,what are you doing here?” Ryan asked

“This is my best friend’s house” Cameron said and went upstairs

“Finally!! We got one!!” Lyric and Ryan s¢ræmed

“Can you bring it low?” Campbell muttered

“Hey,you know the way to Frankie’s room right? He’s your friend not me” Ryan scoffed and Campbell roll his eyes and looked at Pearl from where she was sitting with Sapphire

He stared at her legs for such a long time before turning again and his eyes met with Romeo who gave him one dangerous glare.

Campbell smirked at him and looked away

The movie finally started and everyone settled down quietly

“Hey Ryan,do you have more popcorn? This one can’t be enough for me” Lyric raised her bowl

“Popcorn is just a snack not food” Donovan said

Lyric ignored him

“Donovan can show you the way to the kitchen” Ryan said and sat down beside Pearl

“I’m not going anywhere with her” Donovan said

“Of course I don’t want you either” Lyric walked to Princeton and he raised his brows

“Come with me” Lyric said and pulled him up

“Someone help,I think she’s going to rape me” Princeton said as Lyric pulled him out of the living room and everyone laughed

“Hey,have you eaten the chocolate I got you? Do you like it?” Ryan asked

Pearl nodded with a smile

“Thank you” She said and Ryan smiled

“Wow,it’s my favorite actress” Sapphire said as she focused on the movie

“Really? Mine too?” Frankie showed up and sat down next to her

“Oh…” Sapphire muttered

Ryan winked at Frankie and he rolled his eyes

“Are you feeling better now?? Or you still feel sick?” Ryan asked Pearl

“I’m fine now,too bad I had to skip my classes” Pearl muttered

“Really?? Then you should get the notes from your friends” Ryan said

“Yes I will do that in school tomorrow,but I don’t want to study anything today. Thanks to you I’m not stuck at home” Pearl muttered and Ryan smiled

“You can call me anytime you’re bored,I’m really lively” Ryan said and Pearl chuckled

“I will keep that in mind” she said

“If you are sad,you can call me and I will make you happy” Ryan added and Pearl laughed quietly

“I’ve seen this movie somewhere,can’t believe I’m watching it right now” Juliet said beside Romeo

She looked at him when she got no response

His eyes are on Ryan and Pearl who kept talking quietly and smiling

He was boiling inwardly just by the sight of it

Seems Ryan is making his moves on his sister because his mom is in support.

“Romeo” Juliet called and Romeo faced her

“Your mind is somewhere else” she said

“Don’t mind me,just watch the movie” Romeo muttered and she sighed

‘What is wrong with him?? I don’t usually try this hærd,why is he so cold?’ She thought,not taking her eyes from him

“Hey monkey,are you seriously doing this now?? Show me where the f**k the popcorn is” Lyric said

“I will,on one condition” Princeton said and Lyric frowned

“What condition?” She asked

Princeton moved closer to her

“A k-iss” he smiled and took a quick glance at her l-ips

“I told you,you can’t flirt with me right?” Lyric said

“Really? I’m not even flirting,I’m sure you won’t be able to look at me if I flirt with you,I’m a playboy remember?” Princeton winked

Lyric scoffed

“If you can’t show me without asking for a k-iss,then let’s go back” she snapped

“Fine fine,,it’s right here” He brought out the popcorn and poured her a full bowl

Lyric hit his chest

“Monkey” She stuck her tongue out at him before going out

“Don’t tell me you two are just coming back” Frankie said

“So what?” Lyric scoffed

“Isn’t that suspicious?” Juliet asked

“If you’re thinking we had s*x then it’s a no” Princeton said and everyone gr-0aned

“Princeton can you at least mind your words” Sapphire said

“Oh sorry I forgot we’ve got our baby sister here,sorry Pearl I’m innocent” Princeton said and Pearl chuckled.

Soon,Pearl got up

“I’m going to use the restroom” She told Ryan before walking out

Romeo’s eyes followed her immediately

Pearl washed her hands after she was done,she walked out of the restroom but was surprised to see Campbell pacing in front of the restroom,he seems to be waiting

“Senior Campbell” She called and Campbell turned

“You’re finally out” He smiled

“Were you waiting for me?” Pearl asked

“Of course” Campbell replied

“You have something to say to me?” Pearl asked curiously

Campbell moved closer to her and she took a step backward immediately

“I have something to tell you” Campbell said

“What is it?” Pearl asked

Campbell moved more closer but she didn’t move back this time,he hold Pearl’s hand and her heart skipped a beat the moment he touched her. It was so uncomfortable and awkward

The way he was staring at her legs made her almost scared

He suddenly started leaning closer and Pearl’s eyes w¡dened

Before his l-ips could meet with hers,someone grabbed him from the back

Pearl looked up and saw Romeo who already grabbed Csmpbell’s collar and pushed him Against the wall

“Are you insane?” He asked angrily

“Hey dude easy,are you going to date your sister?” Campbell asked and Romeo threw a punch on his Face

He landed on the floor

Pearl gasped

“Next time I see you close to her,consider yourself dead” Romeo said and grabbed Pearls hand

“What happened?” Princeton asked as Romeo dragged Pearl into the living room.

“We are leaving,goodnight” Romeo said and went out with Pearl

“Did something happened?” Sapphire asked

Campbell showed up with a bursted l-ips

“Okay,this explains it” Lyric muttered

“Hey did you try to touch Pearl or what?” Princeton asked

“Maybe I should have just touched her then” Campbell scoffed and Ryan threw another punch on his face

Campbell tried hitting Ryan back but Frankie immediately pulled him back

“Just leave” Frankie said

Campbell glared at Ryan before going out

“What just happened?” Lyric muttered,she was looking shocked and breathing heavily

Both Donovan and Princeton turned to her since she was sitting between them

“Seriously? So you hate fights and you love causing trouble?” Donovan chuckled

“It’s none of your business,I’m a peacemaker okay??!” She snapped

“Peacemaker my foot” Princeton scoffed

“Are you hungry for a punch?” Lyric fold her two fists toward their noses

“I thought you said you’re a peacemaker” Donovan said

“I prefer violence when it’s necessary” She smirked

“You’re right,it’s obvious” Princeton nodded

Juliet on the other hand suddenly became bored Since Romeo left

She also got up

“I will also take my leave,see you all In school tomorrow” She said and went out

“That girl came because of Romeo,no one should try convincing me” Lyric spoke up

“It’s obvious” Cameron said

“Yeah I know” Ryan chuckled

THE CAYDEN’S MANSION**

“Let go of me!” Pearl throw Romeo’s hand off but Romeo pulled her into his room forcefully

Pearl’s back against the wall

“Are you seriously still stubborn? What would have happened if I hadn’t showed up?? I don’t even know if he touched you….”

“Why are you so mad about it? You told me you won’t care about anything I do anymore….”

“Can you just stop reminding me of that?!” Romeo snapped

“You should have at least pushed that motherf**ker away while he was trying that sh*t with you!!” He yelled and Pearl broke into tears

Romeo bite his l-ips and rough his hair

“I’m sorry for yelling at you…” He muttered gently

“Do you hate me now?” Pearl asked in tears

“What are you saying?”

“You definitely hate me now,you’ve changed. You’ve never shouted at me this way even when scolding me,but now you get angry at every little thing I do,it’s heartbreaking” she said,wiping her tears

“I don’t hate you Pearl” Romeo muttered

“Then why are we creating boundaries?? Why are you telling me I can do anything I want?? But then why are you so angry with me because of Campbell?? You should have just ignored it…..” She was interrupted by how Romeo caged her to the wall

He lean closer and slammed his l-ips on her own.
