Her room looks girly enough, the pink sheets,wallpapers and all which made me wonder if there’s a supermarket in the forest……
Where’s she?? I’ve got to kill her and quickly be on my way back to KOV….
Hmmm she thought she could get away from me !!!!but little did she know that I’m right here in,side her room….
When I heard a footstep by the door,I stopped moving …but when the footsteps got closer,her scent wafted through my nose and the door clicked open….
“YOU!!!”she said in total surprise”how….how did you get here??”she asked stepping fully into the room bolting the door behind her…..
I smirked”well I have my ways Aquiya ..now let’s get to business”I said ..
“And what business do I have with you???”she asked her hands on her h¡ps…..
I will give it to her, she’s the only woman that has ever questioned me…. its either they are too shaken up to refuse me or they are tongue tied cause I’m royalty…..
“Okay I’ll tell you just for the last time”I said breathing deeply”I’m here to kill you so that’s the business you have with me now”I said adding a little smile….
She was quiet for a while then she started laughing long and hærd… Did I say something funny now???
“You….kill me.???nice try Mr…”she said finally moving from the s₱0t that she’s been standing on…
She removed her jacket remaining a black singlet ….seeing her in that made my little man go hærd…”shit !!!Rick ,you’re not supposed to have any reaction to her”I warned myself….
She didn’t talk for a while so I just satisfied myself with watching her move around the room…
She opened a box then brought out a book…she flipped through the pages as she went to sit on the bed reading…. wait…what the hell….is she reading now????
“What do you think you’re doing??”I asked my voice cold…
“What else… Reading!!”she replied nonchalantly not even sparing me a glance..
“What the….is it that you’re not afraid of death or that you’re not afraid of me ??”I asked …
“Finally you get it… I’m not afraid of you”she said finally meeting my gaze head on”you can’t just waltz in to my life and tell me that you’re here to kill me and I’ll give myself up to you in a platter of gold no way!”she said her eyes glinting in anger….

I’ve never been more furious in my life as I stared at the handsome nan.. Wait did I just say handsome??? Well I don’t care and yes I’m afraid of death but I’m not gonna admit that to to him… no I’m not….
“You’re here to kill me.. Fine I wanna know why at least I should know the reason why I will be dying”I said putting the book I was pretending to read aside….
He was quiet for a while that I thought he won’t be answering but he finally talked…..
“OK fine Aquiya….”
“The name’s Kayla… don’t f-cking calk me THAT!!!”I said cutting him off…
He glared at me “I don’t appreciate being interrupted Aquiya”he said while I just rolled my eyes …he just call me that again…
“Fine Angel go on!!”I said…
“Did you just call me an angel??”he asked chuckling….
I rolled my eyes at his question”yes…you have wings so what do I call you if not an angel”I replied amusement in my voice…
“I’m not a f-cking ANGEL Aquiya!!!”he said with gritted teeth
I think I’ve got one over him”you call me AQUIYA then I’ll call you ANGEL case closed so now talk”I. said….
I can see him trying to breath through his anger”fine Aquiya… have you heard of the prophecy???”he asked…
“What prophecy Angel and before you start ,this is earth ,there’s nothing like prophecy here”I added…
He rolled his eyes”off course it’s earth but that doesn’t mean that everyone living here is human especially YOU”he said amusement in his eyes………
Wait what did he mean by me???”what the hell are you talking about???”I asked…
“Well what I’m saying NY dear Aquiya is that you are not human but a creature …a very powerful one at that who’s destined to destroy the ruler of my planet”he said sitting on the chair beside my bed…”I guess narrating a story is hærd work …I fell so stressed “he said running his hands through his hair..
What is he saying??? does he mean that I’m not human ????that’s impossible off course I’m human….”are you???”my subconscious asked…
I don’t know ….everything is ..not clear maybe he’s lying to me”you’re lying to me”I voiced out standing in front of him…
He looked at me trying to contemplate what I just said then his face hold that cold stare again”did you just say I’m lying???”he asked Hus eyes boring into mine….
“All….all this doesn’t make sense”I said turning away from him as I run my hands through my hair…
“How old are you????”he asked…
His question stopped me in my tracks …what has my age got to do with the fact that I’m not Hunan???? I wanna know so I answered him”I’ll be 17 in 3 days”I said…..
He chuckled “no wonder ,your powers will manifest once you clock 17…that’s the Aquiyas mature age.”
“What do you mean by NY powers will manifest once I’m 17???”
“Well that’s what I mean… So that’s the reason I’m here to kill you… Any last words????”he asked standing up …
I was about to answer when I heard a knock on the door….I panicked how I’m I going to explain to Mom and Dad that I’ve been talking to a freaking Angel ….
“Kayla!!!! You in there????”Mom voice rang out in the hallway….
I turned to look at the angel when he smirked and said”I’ll be back for you on your birthday enjoy your time with you family “he said before vanishing and just then the door opened revealing Mom…
“Who were you talking to Kayla????”…

“Who were you talking to Kayla???”Mom asked looking around the room…
I shifted from one foot to the other thinking about what I’m going to tell her…. I possibly can’t tell her that an angel is here to kill me… Nooooo I can’t…
“Kayla!!!!!I’m talking to you”Mom deadpanned looking at me seriously..
“ERM I was just practicing a drama I read in a book”I lied smoothly….
“Practicing a drama in a book ???but it definitely seems like you were having a conversation with a ….Man….I heard a deep voice Kayla”Mom said
“Mom!!!!! You know I’ve been alone for a Long long time so I always end up mimicking you and Dad’s voice you know to kill boredom”I said going to hug her…..
“I’m sorry baby…. I’m sorry that you had to go through all this”she said hugging me back”but know that everything your father and I has been doing is to protect you”she said looking into my eyes..
“Protect me from what Mom?”I asked trying to understand what she’s saying….
She was quiet for a while before replying”your father will be in the best position to answer that”…..
I nodded and smiled a little”so why are you here???”
“Well dinner’s ready!!”she said smiling….
“Wow dinner!!!!! Can’t wait”I said rubbing my tummy…

“Dad ,why are we leaving in the forest?”I asked Dad during dinner…
He looked up at me surprised …he looked from me to Mom then me again.
“Why did you ask??”he said pinning me with his stare.
“I’m almost 17 Dad and I need to know why we are living far from civilisation”I replied…..
He was quiet for a while before replying”why don’t you wait Kayla… I’ll tell you when the time is right”he said going back to his meal….
“When is the right time Dad …I feel like I need to know now!”I said already loosing my appetite…
He sighed deeply dropping his spoon and standing up”I will tell you in 3 days time”he said going to his room….
In 3 days time???? that’s my birthday…. he’s gonna tell me on my birthday…. Sadly enough the angel is gonna be back to kill me on my birthday too…
“Don’t worry ,everything’s gonna be fine??”Mom said squeezing my hands on the table before clearing plates the plates…..

I got out of bed yawning…”Yay today is my birthday” I shouted happily but my face changes to a sullen mood when I remembered that Prick said he’s gonna kill me today…..but to look on the bright side ,Dad is gonna tell me why we have been living here….
“But I miss his handsome face” my sub conscious says….
Woah …No what was that …I don’t miss him”kayla!!! How can you miss someone that’s after your life?”I said pointing my fingers to myself…and just then the door opened revealing Mom…
“Happy birthday to you!!,happy birthday to you!!! Happy birthday to you Kayla!!!!happy birthday to you!!!”she sang holding a cake🍰🍰🍩 in her hands with one two…seventeen candles…
U smiled brightly blowing on the candles before pecking her”thanks Mom”I said…..
“Happy birthday Darking and get dressed”she said pointing to a dress ….a very long white gown with stones…..
“Wow Mom its beautiful!!”I said going to the dress and picked it up….
“Off course it is dear… We’ll be waiting for you downstairs”she said k-ssing my forehead before leaving the room….
I smiled to myself and hold on to the dress smiling brightly….
“I bet when he sees you in this dress ,hell be surprised!!”my sun conscious said….
What the hell… I shook my head removing the thought from my hand …why will you want him to see you in this dress Kayla??? Remember he’s your enemy….. Well there’s no time for this I need to take my bath…..

Its finally today… Shell be dead before today ends “but do you really wanna kill her??”my sub conscious asked…
I stopped in my tracks at that question ….off course I don’t want to kill her in fact seeing the Aquiya has changed a little thing in me….. I’m not even sure if I wanna kill her…. And I kind of miss her, I miss talking and bickering with her, I miss her fiery gaze and I seriously miss those mouth of hers…. How would it feel to k-ss her???
“Ohh for the love of KOV ,why would I want to k-ss her??” I asked no one in particular as I gazed into the pond …she was seating here when I first met her…
though I promised her that I’ll be back for her on her birthday, I never really did leave her side… I’m sure father would have been expecting me…. I paced the woods as I waited for her.
I scent her first before seeing her…. She was jumping and laughing like a little child ,her blond or should I say white hair more longer than before bouncing on her back..
She looks so beautiful in the gown she was wearing that I stood mouth agape staring at her priceless beauty….
She stopped when she felt my presence… She looked up her eyes meeting mine.. Her smiling face changing to a frown for a minute before turning into a wide smile then she mouthed
“WOW!!!,!!,,”
